1. MDR- MV1 - U shaped bassy with a well extended non-fatiguing treble. Also the best fit and lightweight out of all headphones I tried. 2. XBA-N3 - best timbre so far out of all the IEMs I have. Best for my hip-hop/rap songs with male vocals. 3. Symphonium Meteor - best treble I tried, not the best timbre though on the first try as there is a low and mid treble dip it took some time to finally “get it”. Great for female rap/hip-hop. 4. EJ-07M KL - tuned with + 3dB bass boost. My all-rounder set. Stands out in terms of technicalities. 5. Tago Studio Takasaki T3-01 - well balanced, just the right bass and treble, really good vocals. Needs good source to shine (but not scale enough). 6. Symphonium Helios SE - really good micro details. 7. Symphonium Titan - sub bass fun! Honestly I can possibly consider this as an all rounder set. It drowns you with bass but became pretty balanced when bass is not called.

EJ07M without a doubt. I’m saving enough money to get a second set as a backup. I have a number of 1k+ sets but I kept reaching out for this. It’s that good

Vocal set that is good allrounder? EJ07M. Should still have some available in the market.

No I’ve never tried them.. never felt the need to want to try them.. I have the letshouer ej07m kinda lava and they graph almost identical to the monarch mk2.. I know that graphs aren’t everything but with how similar they graph to my kinda lavas I’ve never had a desire to try them.. I enjoy the kinda lavas but they’re not my favorite.. I like the xenns tea pro much better.. you can get the mest mk2 now for like 850$ now..

PMG Apx SE is my reference set for trying new music, as well as portable sources. Obviously it's priced more than a car in some countries, so it's not for everyone. I also use the LETSHUOER EJ07M when traveling, including plugging into the 3.5 mm jack of airplane IFE screens haha. The 64 Audio U4s is also often used for its verstatility. At work I have a pair of CIEM TWS which are quite nice for the convenience. But otherwise I spend most of my time testing different IEMs for review.

EJ07M often goes under $350, but I get your point. I'm of course lucky to have access to various IEMs, and I use the ones I like.
