"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."
"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"incredibly small shells ... Small enough to actually sleep with, as they do not stick outside of the ear."
"Honestly the IE 600 / 900 are just so comfortable because they are small and light."
"too comfy in my ears and forgot about using it on my PC"

"the bass is very articulate with the boost, very pleasing ... They really do put a smile on my face."
"Cadenza 4 + Qudelix 5k + peq has been my main basshead iem for a while now... crazy good to me"
"The Cadenza with a bass shelf on the Qudelix is absolutely epic. ... But the quality of the beryllium driver in the Cadenza means it takes eq like a champ and the Qudelix gives you unlimited eq options."

"The DSP cable can also be used with other IEMs and it's a type-c cable too so if you buy a cheap 5$ 3.5mm cable you'll also have both options."

"The second is distinct lack of dynamic range. ... Listening to the Rain Song by Zeppelin at about the 6:02 mark and Satyam Shivam Sundaram by Thievery Corporation at about the 2:52 mark distinctly show that lack of dynamic range."
"made the Aria sound like a muffled boomy mess too"
"shitty bass"

"No it doesnt. it rolls of massively starting 65hz. ... at 60hz, you're already -10 db, which makes itvery muted compared to the rest. ... Anything under will be almost inexistant to human ears"
"I don't like the Mays at all... ... the Mays sound really muddy to me compared to my other 2 sets."
"I would not recommend May, it's playing in lower league than EW300 or Explorers. ... May is only good if you are not planing to move forward in hobby and you just want to play something inside your ears ... but if I would prefer comfort more than sound I would just buy Airpods 2 or other TWS."

"I'm very disappointed - it sounds incredibly 'tinny' ... I wanted clearer vocals, and it has that, but I sacrificed 'rich sound' for 'tinny tv speaker sound with a thumping subwoofer'. ... Even my wife noticed that its awful and she's not into this stuff. ... I have an old samsung DVD player sound system from like 10 years ago that I likely only paid $200 for and the sound had much more depth and sounded like a quality system."

"Technical performance, especially on resolution and imaging, is below average, but given that is quite an old model that you can get for cheap, I don’t consider it a downside, unless you are a “technical-head.” ... The technical department is a bit underwhelming for the current $80 price bracket standards, that said, is not too bad, may even say that it aged decently, but is outdated nonetheless. ... The detail retrieval is just fine, with the treble not being particularly forward on this set, you might find hard to hear some microdetail, is not bad by any means, is just that the Titan is going to be pretty discrete with some details, that you will kind of need to look around for them, I guess the tuning does care mostly about vocals in that sense. ... Resolution, soundstage, and imaging are the areas where the technical performance struggles more noticeably, being below average versus most other $80 iems, not to say that is terrible but it sure is not a strong point of them. Sound is not as crisp as it could be, the direction of the sound is a bit lackluster, almost “left to right” kind of presentation, and position of things is also not that clear, you would have a pretty rough estimate on that side, is along some $50 iems or so. ... Not for people looking for great technical performance. ... Not the best for rock music genres (thanks to the signature and technical performance). ... Technical performance, especially on resolution and imaging, is below average for the original price... ... they need to bring the tuning back, but with better techs (for the original price bracket at least). ... Titan S og techs arent that great for the price ($80), but tuning is ... SM4 would have way more technical performance than Titan S orignial so that would be a better pick i guess, Titan S is for people than like foward and center vocals paired with quite nice bass quality and amount, SM4 is more energetic, clean and technical."
My personal rankings for stuff I've heard. I'm a neutral/neutral bright guy. (My post on reddit goes somewhat in depth on all of these, sadly I'm not very technical in my language) Kotori Audio Zephyr (Duh) Truthear Hexa Tangzu Yu Xuan Ji (might be too bright for some but easily looks the prettiest by a *BIG* margin) Truthear Gate (My current set, would upgrade to one of the options in the list in a few months) Tanchjim 4u (Bang for buck) Truthear x Crinacle blue 2 (tachjim 4u has better value) Aful Magicone (very similar to hexa) Moondrop May (A default starter set for almost everyone regardless of taste.) Letshouer s08 (not my taste, great value, premium for the price) Letshouer dz4 (not my taste, great value) Moondrop Chu 2 (My previous set that are lying around somewhere) Tangzu x hbb Xuan Nv (just because of the fit) Kotori Audio Vampire I'll check out your YouTube!
r/iems • Is there a better Hexa? ->I have a curse with IEM faceplate, first Moondrop May then the U4s :((
r/iems • 64Audio procuded the best soundstage on IEM ever ->Bro buy moondrop May (unboxed) at headphonezone which cost you 5k. I have one. Good IEM.
r/iems • Can you please suggest good IEMs under (60$) 5000₹ ->dude save your money you will be blown away by 70$ish iems for example the truthear zero blue 2 compared to airpods arent really that impressive but save up your money for like some moondrop mays that you can plug in to your phone with usb c
r/iems • I have 30 bucks to buy my first iem , Need a high recommendation for the best one in this budget ->comes with eq too and better tuning
r/iems • I have 30 bucks to buy my first iem , Need a high recommendation for the best one in this budget ->Moondrop may's (my daily driver until about a week ago) or the cheaper but similar tanchjim bunny, or 7hz sonus, newer set i own Both are great, may's sound warm and neutral (you'll hear vocals, bass rumble, higher frequency instrument will sound laid back like violins tambourine... rock is great though), sonus sound spacious, clear and detailed with extra subbass (super fun at high volumes, and for busy tracks) If you don't get a sub $20 set you should benefit quite well by a dac, ka11/trn black pearl will do great, get the latter if you intend to get balanced planars or headsets in the future (or just want a more powerful dac) keep us updated and gl, hf
r/iems • Bought the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero and I’m disappointed — need advice as a complete IEM noob ->My first iems were the chu 2s dsp, i love their fit but i had to eq it quite a bit to get more bass (i love bass) Then i get the t10s and omg i love those everything about these is perfect and they eq quite well (the only con for me was the plastic shell and they dont look really appealing) a great iem Recently i got the moondrop may (i might become a moondrop fan) havent had much time with them and they are the only set i havent eqed yet, but im happy with thier tuning Also i got an android mp3 player for cheap its called the "m1" with no company name but its alright I also have the kiwi ears allegro mini and dunu s&s eartips coming ! I was looking at other iems to complete my collection and have a new exprience i have 3 options in mind : The aful explorer (will push my budget a bit its around 130$) The kiwi ears quartet (for 100$) cklvx d41 (for 85$) I love bass, i listen to edm, hyperpop, hiphop, pop, shoegaze, j rock and a bit of everything I cant buy from amazon due to my country being a shithole so i need to buy locally Thanks for reading and give me your recommendations please !!
r/inearfidelity • My small collection + recommend me a new iem ! ->Hey thank you for replying!! I checked and found that the pure is going for 85$ but i saw a yt review saying they arent great :< The artti is really good the treble is a bit too sprakly for me but with a small eq it really blew my mind i love them, the t10s are what i use the most currently Btw i wanted to ask i wasnt able to use the may with the app it only shows bluetooth stuff for me do u know how i can eq it ? Tysm for ur kindness and response
r/inearfidelity • My small collection + recommend me a new iem ! ->The engravings does make it look at lot more unique while staying sober and not too sparkly or shiny with an outfit
r/iems • What is your favorite beautiful looking IEM? ->moondrop qc is incredibly ymmv . but the consensus is any and all freedsp derivative has issues . i currently own the may dsp , dusksp , and freedsp — all has noise and it has made me switch to analog for their respective iems
r/iems • Best out of these as my first iem ??? ->Around your budget the best choice for you would be a Simgot EW300 (especially since you'll be using it for gaming), or a moondrop May. If you could increase your budget though i think you would really like the Kiwi Ears Aether as it has great bass without sacrificing the clarity, you could also get a DAC such as Jcally jm6 (i personally have no experience with it but i see other people recommend it very often), or just use any aux to type C adapter (the IEMs also have cable options with type C).
r/iems • Budget of around 50-100 £/$ ->I got the Moondrop May for my wife. She usually would use AirPods Pro. She tried the May and fell in love with the sound. V-shape and “fun”. Budget friendly. If you wanna go higher, I can definitely recommend Hype4, Canon 2 and my favorite: DUY BUSK (you gotta figure out what fights one is by looking around a bit!) 😃👌
r/iems • I'm an IEMs absolute noob, and I wanted to give them a try. What was your first IEMs? Do you regret it? What would you get as a first cheap one if you could do it again? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
