My personal rankings for stuff I've heard. I'm a neutral/neutral bright guy. (My post on reddit goes somewhat in depth on all of these, sadly I'm not very technical in my language) Kotori Audio Zephyr (Duh) Truthear Hexa Tangzu Yu Xuan Ji (might be too bright for some but easily looks the prettiest by a *BIG* margin) Truthear Gate (My current set, would upgrade to one of the options in the list in a few months) Tanchjim 4u (Bang for buck) Truthear x Crinacle blue 2 (tachjim 4u has better value) Aful Magicone (very similar to hexa) Moondrop May (A default starter set for almost everyone regardless of taste.) Letshouer s08 (not my taste, great value, premium for the price) Letshouer dz4 (not my taste, great value) Moondrop Chu 2 (My previous set that are lying around somewhere) Tangzu x hbb Xuan Nv (just because of the fit) Kotori Audio Vampire I'll check out your YouTube!

My first iems were the chu 2s dsp, i love their fit but i had to eq it quite a bit to get more bass (i love bass) Then i get the t10s and omg i love those everything about these is perfect and they eq quite well (the only con for me was the plastic shell and they dont look really appealing) a great iem Recently i got the moondrop may (i might become a moondrop fan) havent had much time with them and they are the only set i havent eqed yet, but im happy with thier tuning Also i got an android mp3 player for cheap its called the "m1" with no company name but its alright I also have the kiwi ears allegro mini and dunu s&s eartips coming ! I was looking at other iems to complete my collection and have a new exprience i have 3 options in mind : The aful explorer (will push my budget a bit its around 130$) The kiwi ears quartet (for 100$) cklvx d41 (for 85$) I love bass, i listen to edm, hyperpop, hiphop, pop, shoegaze, j rock and a bit of everything I cant buy from amazon due to my country being a shithole so i need to buy locally Thanks for reading and give me your recommendations please !!

Around your budget the best choice for you would be a Simgot EW300 (especially since you'll be using it for gaming), or a moondrop May. If you could increase your budget though i think you would really like the Kiwi Ears Aether as it has great bass without sacrificing the clarity, you could also get a DAC such as Jcally jm6 (i personally have no experience with it but i see other people recommend it very often), or just use any aux to type C adapter (the IEMs also have cable options with type C).

I got the Moondrop May for my wife. She usually would use AirPods Pro. She tried the May and fell in love with the sound. V-shape and “fun”. Budget friendly. If you wanna go higher, I can definitely recommend Hype4, Canon 2 and my favorite: DUY BUSK (you gotta figure out what fights one is by looking around a bit!) 😃👌

as my 1st IEM, Xuan nv or may because they are good all rounders & safe choice. S08 is good, but it's dark. And ew300 or artti t10 are also solid picks, but u might find them bright. Hexa is clinical, u might either love for their details or might hate them as they are unexciting.

TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero is outdated, there are two newer better version since first two versions use very wide nozzles and are uncomfortable for most people, 3rd version should be fine [https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/truthear-x-crinacle-zeroblue2-dual-dynamic-drivers-in-ear-headphone](https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/truthear-x-crinacle-zeroblue2-dual-dynamic-drivers-in-ear-headphone) ew300 I'm not rly a fan, I'd take Moondrop May over it any day of the week and twice on sunday [https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/moondrop-may-dd-planar-in-ear-headphone](https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/moondrop-may-dd-planar-in-ear-headphone) edit:/ also worse than Vivace in gaming that said, there are better sounding IEMs at that price, mainly Artti T10, I'd say they are not as much better vs Vivace compared to T10 vs them, T10 is just that good but it's not rly that great for gaming

I've changed cable cause you need balanced cable to put it in 4.4 port properly. I would not recommend May, it's playing in lower league than EW300 or Explorers. May is only good if you are not planing to move forward in hobby and you just want to play something inside your ears and comfortable cable with usb-c DAC built in ... but if I would prefer comfort more than sound I would just buy Airpods 2 or other TWS.

I have the Bowers n Wilkins PI7, cost me 400$ back when I bought them. I got the Moondrop May, around 63$ and they outperform the tws by far, to the point I can't even stand the sound from my tws anymore. In terms of sound quality even the cheapest iem will probably perform better. But on other features, such as the practical of being wireless, phonecalls, noise cancelling etc the tws is obviously better as iem focus mainly on just sound. Pick after what you value the most, and don't overpay for an iem. Stay under 100$ until you find what tuning you are after.

moondrop iems have been very relaxed/balanced/nice to listen to for me. If you want something that just does its job, the Moondrop May is for you. Not gonna wow you but is gonna sound great due to its good tuning. I had the Moondrop Aria and my friends and family all liked those, myself included. If you don't want dsp/usb-c functionality (cus you have a pc and only need 3.5mm) get the truthear zero red, cheaper.

I have galaxy buds 2 pro...timeless 2....moondrop may.... Timeless 2 is a level above galaxy buds 2 pro...difference is so clear....be it clarity, sound separation, treble or bass texture. Moondrop may is similar to galaxy buds 2 pro.... If you are stuck to cheaper iems...obviously you might not get that great quality....go to a headphone store with iems for trying out before buying.

Tell whoever told you s12 has weird bass that it is actually the most textured low end you can find under 300€, hands down. With EQ you can basically turn this beast into any tuning you want, with great chops to boot. Anyway, my recommendation under 100 would be Moondrop May or Ew300 dsp.

I can speak about the Hexa and about the May. The Hexa are still among the most resolving sets that you can buy under $100, they sound pretty linear and balanced and that is also the reason why they are not for everyone since they are not a colored and fun sounding set, if that's what you search for. Not something I would pick for my pure music enjoyment. The May, instead, is a Harman-inspired IEM and has DSP presets to play with, it sounds very natural and the tuning is done super carefully. However, the technical performance isn't the best out there (especially for the price range) so keep that in mind. The DSP cable can also be used with other IEMs and it's a type-c cable too so if you buy a cheap 5$ 3.5mm cable you'll also have both options. If I were you, I would also add into the comparison: - the cheaper Simgot EW200 (a friend of mine bought it for like 30$ on AliExpress and it's still a bargain) - Kefine Klean: a good all-rounder

I reckon the Mays are a safe bet, they generally sound pretty good and while the app is dodgy you can load various EQ presets onto the cable to suit your preferences

Hi, i been called to offer possible help xD, you have a decent budget but a lot of options and a lot of needs, you said you want an iem and a DAP (Digital Audio Player) both for those $150 or less right? An allrounder sound, type C cable, sorry if you clarified before, do you have an android phone? as long as you dont have an android phone something like the Moondrop May could work for your budget and use case but you might want to get the moondrop app on your phone to use the included pre-set adjustments to get a sound more in line with what you want (i mean, as long as you dont like the stock sound, if you do, then no need). Alternatively, if you really need a nice fit and decent cable, the Dunu Titan S2 comes with a lot of accesories and should be quite comfortable on the ear because of size, plus the various eartips should help with sound, seal and comfort and at least on AliExpress you Should be able to find the new color variants (in dark gray, light blue or mint green colors) with the type-c cable option which is plug and play. As for a DAP, maybe Check Snowsky Mini? is quite cheap and well liked, is fairly new tho.

For technicalities, Aria should be somewhat above the May but may has pretty good technicalities for the price range nontheless. as for sound, the bassic May EQ is a balanced sound with a decebt but clean mid-bass (so a bit reduced vs aria 2) and a focus on the sub-bass, while the Aria 2 is balanced but it has a presentation of mid-bass over sub-bass, but not by much, is a more "balanced" bass approach, plus a bit more focus on correct natural vocals vs the more energetic approach of the May. Both are good, but Aria is a more "mature" balanced sound while May is a bit more V-shaped, but of course, the whole point on the may is to use the moondrop app to change the style of sound, from more bassy to more bright and clean (btw, the app doesnt seem to work well on apple devices)

I use wired because wireless always introduce delay and the best ones like ROG Cetra cost a fortune(I have those). The chinese brand Moondrop makes some pretty solid TWS and IEM earbuds at affordable prices. For TWS I have Space Travel 1 & 2. Highly recommend Space Travel 2. It has gaming mode that reduce delay. Cetra has better sound and less latency in gaming mode though. As for IEM, the Chu II is the best money for your buck by far and is often listed as the best IEM at that low cost. I own ARIA SE, and Aria 2 came out last year at the same price range and is an upgrade. Though at that price range also consider Truthear Zero Red, Trurthear Hexa or Moondrop May depending on the type of music you listen to.
