Myer audio CKLVX D41. Insane technical performance for the price. I am not one to care about soundstage too much, but the soundstage width is seriously impressive for an iem.

Just from personal experience, Myeraudio CKLVX D41 but that just my limited experience. Much wider sounding than my Softears Volume S.

Crinear Daybreak!!! They are great. myer audio CKLVX D41 is also a fun one, but not as neutral. They are also quite ugly and the fit is chonky.

Ah fair enough yeah. Then I'd probably recommend something with a semi-custom style resin shell, such as something like the zigaat ones (or anything that has a similar shape on the inside to them). They are more likely to have more isolation than the standard shape IEMs. I noticed a massive difference in terms of isolation when I swapped from the kz zs10 pro and PR2 to the cklvx d41, as the d41 has the resin with the tapered shape. It fits better in my ear and I cannot hear anything outside with them on. I'd also try good memory foam tips, or find some silicone tips that fit you perfectly. Getting a perfect seal is key here. I haven't tried the Shure style of IEMs, but imo I think you'll get better sounding IEMs for the price if you didn't go with name brands such as Shure. Not sure about the isolation with them tho. I've used the cklvx d41 for playing live and I find them great. They actually isolate a bit too much for me and I need to have a quiet ambient mic in my iem mix for me to feel satisfied. However we do not have an acoustic drum kit, so I cannot comment on that side of things.

A bit of a niche pick but Myer Audio CKLVX D41. Probably the most technical at its price. I also highly recommend Hexa/pure too
