Get a really cheap pair and invest in a few of the most well-received tips. I’d suggest the $7 ND Audio Venus (small, comfotrable, good exciting sound) and some tips, or the Wan’er 2 which comes with some great tips in the box.

Edit: I would also like people in this hobby to try the ND-Venus with foam tips. V-shaped iem that has both decent bass and treble extension while maintaining very good timbre. Scales with power too.
r/iems • ND-Planet ->Nah, I've had it for a bit, and it does not outperform the explorer lmao. But I'm biased towards beryllium plated diaphragm drivers. In my ears, this iem is a few steps below an EQ'd aoshida e20. Though, it definitely knocks out a lot of iems below $30. Just like the ND Venus knocked out a couple kzs in the ultra budget tier.
