Not Americans some Americans. You gotta understand in an American I love android an my de on perl pro an my noble rex5 I don't care or need an iPhone. Yes I'm an American some Americans think apple is the best of the best but that's what Apple is made for. The person who doesn't wanna think. They want to be as simple minded as possible to the point apple basically makes the music sound how it thinks they should like it. Apple is made for those who don't wanna think android is made for those who actually wanna experience how things are meant to be , better quality pics, better quality music, moddig you phone to have your own style etc.
The best Bluetooth iems I've ever tried have been the noble audio fokus rex5, they are expensive but worth it, they sound like iems that happen to be wireless rather than wireless iems if that makes any sense.
It's sound quality. It's simply the way they are tuned with the 6 different dynamic drivers. Holographic sound stage meaning, every thing is detailed. You will hear every instrument. Ive not heard anything wireless that sounds better than these. They don't have anything to offer except 2 dozen eartips, two cases, and good battery. No Anc, no call crap, nothing but just incredible sound. And they get loud. You got noble prestige encore out there charging almost double for subpar sound quality. Rex5's are more expensive and they don't compare.. Devialet gemini are more expensive too and they don't compare. I just wish these would last a lifetime. That's my only gripe with wireless esrbuds, they have a lifespan. I need to get into wired as well, just don't have enough savings to do it right.
I guarantee you will absolutely love them. They aren't perfect. The app is in Chinese but hit a few buttons to find English and your good. You can use the eq on it or do what I do and use the power Amp app. Personally I'd be pissed if I spent 500- 700 dollars for stuff just to discover these. But also, not everybody can afford them and I get that. But these are a real treat. Full stop.
IEM’s for commuting on Metro. I have Noble Focus Rex5. They’re small enough to pack easily into my sling, and sound great. Headphones for at home. Focal Bathys.
I just recently learned about noble as a whole thanks to the Rex 5 I use pretty much every day, I would hear music on different content with my pixel buds and feel actually bad. So I decided I needed truly good tws. A lot of their stuff looks pretty incredible and is definitely a piece to be proud of. Science says feeling good about a product genuinely increases their perceived performance.
That was super kind. Because for me bass iems start at around 300usd. My favorite so far are actually the rex5 tws at 450usd And it is DIFFICULT to explain the physical effects of truly great woofers in iems
Comment #2 They have ldac and aptx adaptive or whatever so they can stream 16bit 44.1 from tidal which is plenty for high res IMO
I didn't like the az100 but it could beat a app3 Rex5 smashed app by a mile but didn't fit me comfortably
Gotcha, I have tried the rex5 and I do like them. Just unfortunate that there's no shop nearby that let's me demo the pi8 and amadeus for comparison and they're final sale too once opened. How's the soundtage of the pi8 in comparison to the rex5?
The improvements to the 8A358 firmware are minor; I would not consider it a dramatic improvement by any stretch. The average user is unlikely to notice much difference. I have a strong suspicion that this change had more to do with frequency response variability as it relates to volume steps than an attempt at targeting complaints about the tuning itself. Apple is not listening to the enthusiast community. I'd also argue most of the enthusiasts complaining about the APP3 are also running other TWS that they rely on for casual listening; I leave the house with the APP3 when I need ANC, call quality, transparency, or battery life. But I'm grabbing the AZ100s, MTW4, Rex5, Perl Pro, Pi8, Pi7 S2, or any number of other TWS if my main requirement is casual listening. Apple is always going to aim for what they assume to be a tuning that the average listener will find most appealing; we got lucky with the APP2's tuning being so well balanced. Which means the APP3 is going to remain v-shaped for the life of the product -- even if Apple chooses to make small alterations to the frequency response, it's not suddenly going to shift back in the direction of the APP2 in the near future. Simply put, we won't see a major shift in approach from them, if for no other reason than to simply avoid confusion on the part of the average user, which is the majority of the consumer base for the AirPods lineup.
