I got these about two weeks ago and wanted to share some quick impressions as I have been very happy with them. I’m not a skilled reviewer and also believe this hobby is extremely subjective, so please take this review with a grain of salt. QOA is a sub-brand of Kinera - the IEM comes with a pretty stacked package with eartips, cable (termination is not exchangeable), the Kinera bookmark, a case, etc. I’ve previously purchased Relentless and Phoenixcall as well, and Kinera’s packaging has always been quite excellent in my opinion. I also find the design and fit of the shell to be quite nice; for reference, I have slightly larger ears and prefer larger IEMs that can fit securely. However, I do think these are objectively on the smaller side. Mimosa comes with a 10mm DD+ 6mm Planar configuration, and everything except for the ultra-highs (>8khz) are handled by the dynamic driver. The IEM comes across as a very well tuned single DD ish sound with added sparkle on top. I prefer a good V shaped tuning with bass and treble boost, and I don’t find vocal forward IEMs to be natural. That being said, the Mimosa have a deep hitting bass, slightly recessed but correctly sounding vocals, and plenty of detail up top. It’s not shouty but some might find the treble spark slightly harsh if they are sensitive to ~8khz peak. I use the TRI Clarion tips but narrow bore tips might help with that. These are overall well tuned, natural IEMs. I find the imaging to be accurate with plenty of space where the instruments are being placed within. These are not tuned for reference purposes; you can rather expect a very lively and engaging presentation. To sum up, the strengths of the Mimosa to me are the deep rumbly bass and details that come with the treble sparkle, likely from the implementation of the micro planar drivers. If you like mid-forward IEMs or are sensitive to treble, I would recommend you look elsewhere. Also should have added this at the beginning, but I listen to rock, hip-hop, classical, pop, etc. so I tend to prefer versatile tuning. The Mimosa have emphasis on bass and treble, but the mids are not missing or sub-par by any means. Finally, instead of more detailed sound impressions, here are the list of IEMs that I have tried so far. I can try and do comparisons if you find anything on this list that you’d like a comparison with. I think sound impressions are very difficult to describe, but having a reference point to compare with certainly makes it easier. -Westone Pro X20 -Artti T10 -CCA CKX -FIIO FH1S -TRI I3 MK3 -Kinera Celest Phoenixcall -Shanling Tino -CCA Trio -FIIO JH3 -PENON Fan 3 -Simgot EA500 -Kinera Celest Relentless Thanks!

At this time, on honeymoon with the QoA Mimosa. Soft V with nice subbass rumble and Mid bass punch but not to the point of overpowering the mids, laid-back vocals with good body, sparkling highs with good extension to counterbalance the bass.

Man, The Mimosa really surprised me and I won't tire of saying it, they did something special with this single DD+Planar configuration. In the Kinera/Celeste/QoA line I put it above the Relentless. So I can say it's a 150usd iem.🔥🔥🔥 https://preview.redd.it/vdmr7kwswppe1.jpeg?width=3465&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c5a38a012f5b6c9bf5545e9bdba7fe9042e133d3

Thank you for the reply. Still got the regular t10s in my cart. Undecided as I already have purchased the waner and qoa mimosa last week. I like the build quality of the pros but I think the regular t10s tuning appeals to me more. 😵‍💫

Yes id like to see what other brands offer around the same price. My mimosa arrived earlier this week. Loving how they sound. Definitely an upgrade over the reds I had. I think I'm changing the cable tho. A bit too thick and heavy. Still comfortable around the ears.

It's me again. I also have the QoA Mimosa and I'm happy with them. However, I'm always curious how they compare other IEMs. Could you please do a comparison with the Relentless?

I have them and really like them for EDM. The bass is perfect for me, however the upper mids are slightly recessed.
