CX 80S

>Will a 3000 INR iem sound better than a similar priced, big brand earphone? They might or might not. I have a Sennheiser CX80s which goes for 1500 and a Blon BL03 I bought for 2200. I pick the CX80s most of the days. Sound kicks ass and it's so much more comfortable. And on top of that 2 years of warranty. And trust me, the Sennheiser warranty experience is the best. Some people have just discovered IEMs and hyping the shit out of them. Many high impedance IEMs won't even sound good unless paired with a DAC.
