Here's a graph of the [IE100 Pro and Blessing 3 from Earphones Archive (5128 Measurement)](https://earphonesarchive.squig.link/?share=JM-1_(5128)_Target,Sennheiser_IE100_Pro,Moondrop_Blessing3). IE100 Pro looks to have pretty recessed upper mids and elevated bass/treble relative to the mid range, so being v-shaped tracks. If you hear the IE100 Pro has less bass than the Blessing 3, there may be something wrong with your setup or seal. Actually the first time I've heard Hexa described as muddy. Usually people describe them as lean, neutral, or even bright. Do you mean the bass quality is not that good or something?

Sennheiser HD25 with Yaxi comfort pads for mixing and Sennheiser IE 100 Pro for booming/utility with the silicone ear tip, the foam ear tip doesn't handle sweat well.

If you're serious about monitoring, go for something from someone like sennheiser or Shure. The senny IE 100 pro aren't really a great IEM for music, but they're nice and flat. They're also fairly cheap, so you don't really have to feel bad dedicating them to one job

The IE 100 is absolutely not v shaped lmao, it's slightly higher on the high end but it is not v-shaped. Are you sure you're talking about the IE *100* pro?

There's absolutely no way you can say the IE 100 pro has cranked bass, it's absolutely gutless. They have less bass than my blessing 3s, an IEM which the number one complaint is that they lack bass

Moondrop do tend to be more flat than others, but they aren't really neutral.  If you aren't doing high end monitoring or professional work you'll probably be fine tbh.  I used IE 100s for a while as my do everything IEMs and they weren't great for gaming. If it's only one pair you're getting, get something a bit more fun, just try to listen to whatever you're producing on as many different devices as you can to get an idea for what it actually sounds like.

I have the Sennheiser IE 100 Pros and they sound clear and balanced. They cost around $100. After about an hour my inner ear will get fatigued but I am not sure if that is a normal thing for IEMs since this is the only set I have ever owned.

If you can spend a hundred bucks, there are several options for in-ear monitors with 30+ dB noise isolation. Sennheiser IE100 and Shure SE215 are pretty common, but there are cheaper options as well.

Rated for 26 dB passive noise reduction, yes.

I've had them and they're not bad, but I was unable to find replacement foam tips which kind of sucked. The Shure SE215 are pretty equivalent, but also easy to find replacement tips.

Sennheiser IE100pro, light, comfortable, durable, good enough to not feel like I compromise too much and cheap enough to be a "beater" headphone.

If you want real good, like really good headphones (at least in my opinion and everybody that tried them in my Presence) for not so expensive, you should consider the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro. They are really balanced in sound, comfortable for long hours due to pressure valves (or at least something, that has the same effect) but while being balanced the bass reaches reaaaally deep. Not loud but deep. Even the Sennheiser Momentum 4 could not quite match them.

Our whole band uses IE100 for in ears. I also bought them but had problems with shitty sound from day 1. Always lacking bass and having harsh/pronounced highs. I then bought IE200 cuz I thought that they will be better then 100’s. Well not really. A bit more bassy but still lacking bass and having the same highs. And once again - those iem’s are built for special task called IN EAR MONITORING. They have pronounced trebles so instument players hear themselfs on a loud stage (except bass players). But I am not sure why are they built in that way that they lack bass. Probably to eliminate the muddines of bad in ear mixes. Either way… IE series of IEM’s are not good for listening to music / quite the opposite, they sound shitty. Period.

I have the IE 100 pro, they are great for longer listening sessions ( they are my sleeping buds), they have good soundstage and detail, bass is good but not to much , when I want more bass I use an EQ preset for HD560s on wavelet it elevates the bass. I hope that helps. Ps: I listen to metal and classical music ( I don't need EQ for classical music but for metal some technical death and black metal I do use EQ)
