I bought Sennheiser Pro 100 because a lot of people talked about here and I don’t regret it at all for the price that’s really good
I use Sennheiser ie 100 pro, they are great. Very good isolation, I can be in very loud environment, and monitor at comfortable level. Also, with the hook that goes behind your ear, you can leave them hanging, and push them on much quicker than regular cans, with one hand. That means I don't need to put down the boom, and nobody is gonna scream because I'm too slow. Highly recommend.
Here's a graph of the [IE100 Pro and Blessing 3 from Earphones Archive (5128 Measurement)](https://earphonesarchive.squig.link/?share=JM-1_(5128)_Target,Sennheiser_IE100_Pro,Moondrop_Blessing3). IE100 Pro looks to have pretty recessed upper mids and elevated bass/treble relative to the mid range, so being v-shaped tracks. If you hear the IE100 Pro has less bass than the Blessing 3, there may be something wrong with your setup or seal. Actually the first time I've heard Hexa described as muddy. Usually people describe them as lean, neutral, or even bright. Do you mean the bass quality is not that good or something?
Sennheiser HD25 with Yaxi comfort pads for mixing and Sennheiser IE 100 Pro for booming/utility with the silicone ear tip, the foam ear tip doesn't handle sweat well.
Ditto, I'm using them right now in a reality show, these sound great.
If you're serious about monitoring, go for something from someone like sennheiser or Shure. The senny IE 100 pro aren't really a great IEM for music, but they're nice and flat. They're also fairly cheap, so you don't really have to feel bad dedicating them to one job
The IE 100 is absolutely not v shaped lmao, it's slightly higher on the high end but it is not v-shaped. Are you sure you're talking about the IE *100* pro?
There's absolutely no way you can say the IE 100 pro has cranked bass, it's absolutely gutless. They have less bass than my blessing 3s, an IEM which the number one complaint is that they lack bass
Moondrop do tend to be more flat than others, but they aren't really neutral. If you aren't doing high end monitoring or professional work you'll probably be fine tbh. I used IE 100s for a while as my do everything IEMs and they weren't great for gaming. If it's only one pair you're getting, get something a bit more fun, just try to listen to whatever you're producing on as many different devices as you can to get an idea for what it actually sounds like.
Sennheiser IE 600 Comfort is non-negotiable, fortunately I love the tuning but even on the IE 100 pro that I like but don't love, they still top a few other IEMs simply because I can wear them in any situation without any discomfort
If you just want to try out the shape, the IE 100 pro is really nice too, and about half the price of the IE 200, they're my go-to cheap IEM tbh
I used Sennheiser 100 Pros for a good long while. I found them to be a step above the usual over ear headphones, but eventually went back to the over ears because they are wireless and I play more casually nowadays. The 100’s definitely weren’t cream of the crop, since they are entry level IE’s at entry level pricing. I was satisfied for the duration I used them.
