Sennheiser - IE 40 PRO

SENNHEISER IE 40 PRO is what I have been using for the past year. I enjoy the clarity of the sound. It really allows me to hear my flaws perfectly!

I wear IEMs on hot days or in the cold to be able to wear a beanie. The ones I use (Sennheiser IE-40 Pro) sound pretty similar to the HD-25s I normally use for the top end, but sometimes I don’t get a proper seal and I miss out on really low frequency handling noise. Also, set awareness is harder with IEMs. I wouldn’t mix with IEMs but I’m sometimes quite happy to boom with them. Normally I’m pretty happy with using HD-25s with velvet pads. So much more comfy than the pleather.

I only have sennheiser IE40 pro, Truthear Hexa and Fiio EM5 (earbud) and I honestly would not recommend using IEM for fps games. My headphones are Dt990 pro and He400I (2016), when I switch from headphone to IEM I feel like I'm pretty much deaf, I still can hear the sound but I could not indicate whether it is far or right in front of me. You can however get used to that but switching back to headphone it is still wayyyyyyyy better I once borrowed blessing 3 and moondrop starfield from my friend but I don't use that enough so I can't say much, but just from playing deathmatch it is already better than hexa in term of sound stage Master in Apex legends (season 8-13, stopped playing afterwards) and lv10 Faceit in Cs2. I also played a bit of MW2 and mostly DMZ with headphones only so I can't say if IEM is good with that game, since both apex legends and csgo/cs2 use the same source engine sound
