This 1000%. Those cheap wireless systems are absolute garbage. The first one worth it is Sennheiser G4 or Shure PSM 300. Everything cheaper is crap imo.

There are levels to IEM’s for sure. PSM 300 is tremendously better than X Vive. If PSM 300 is garbage what is the cheap stuff like x vive?

Even the PSM300 is garbage. If you must have a wireless IEM system, Sennheiser G4 or a screaming deal on a G3. Otherwise a PSM1000. Like was stated before, get a hardwired system. One or the best hardwired IEM systems are the Albatross Audio PH9B units. The guy who makes them is based in Montreal and I think there’s an issue with sourcing the PSU parts, so new ones are probably not available. Solotech regularly has used ones for sale. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better hardwired system than the PH9B

True, the 900’s are a far better choice than the 300’s. However, the lack of networking on both are deal breakers for me

Same here. 90% of the time, there hasn't been an issue. But that other 10% is why as a band we still keep an old powered monitor around to toss up when it does start acting up. Give the Xvive long enough (4ish years of weekend gigs) and the headphone jack will start to crackle and you'll have to wiggle it around to get it to be a solid connection again. Then as soon as you try even a Shure PSM300 system, you'll never want to go back. The bass player for my band now hates his Xvives after using my PSM300 for a few gigs.

This is not true in the slightest. I toured for years on a cheap Shure IEM with universal headphones that cost less than a grand for the whole package. We played sold out shows up to 6,000+ people at many different venues including the house of blues circuit and a bunch of different festivals. If youre a vocalist and you want to hear yourself on stage, you dont have to invest thousands of dollars to improve your experience in a significant way.

Hey bud, go ahead and look up "Shure PSM300 Used". $500 at guitar center. Which means you can easily pick one up for less from FB Marketplace or Reverb if someone is selling right now. No need to return and tell me I'm right. I already know. XOXO

Who said anything about buying new? And why wouldn't people buy them used? I sold off 6 used units for $400 each within 24 hrs of listing. I think you're just being a contrarian because you're bored and don't know any better. Oh and I checked and BRAND NEW they're going for [$700](https://www.prosoundgear.com/shop/microphones/wireless-mics/shure-psm-300-stereo-personal-monitor-system-with-se112-earphones-b-stock/) so.... Fuck off pretty please
