Because you want good passive isolation, you are going to want to avoid the Gate, the Bunny, the LAN, and the Wan'er. While i am a BIG fan of the Bunny, they might as well be open backed. Same with the Gate. The Wan'er also has a LOT of sound bleed. The Vivace is a little better, followed by the Cadenza, the Zero2 and the Chu 2. Overall, isolation wise, the Chu2 is the best on that list. But i would caution that, if you are going to be in the worship band, sweat is an issue. And 1: Metal Shells and Sweat usually means corrosion. 2: The Cadenza nozzles are WELL known for their corrosion. So...sadly, dont do that. I would look at the Cadenza, or the Zero 1, not the 2. As they have a flatter bass profile, and a little more upper mids presence. Which will fit into the vocal range a little better for actual live monitoring. Some other options i would look at are the TRN MT5, the Simgot EW100p, the BLON BL-03 II, Kinera Celest Wyvern Black, the Remix version if you want more vocal forwardness and less bass, and most importantly, tips tips tips. Get yourself some memory foam tips, and use them, this will GREATLY improve isolation and fit while playing. Or some foam filled silicone tips. To help reject outside sound.

Well, not quite... Tanchjim has a Desktop app for the DSP settings. Removing the DSP is a cable swap away, the IEM is a standard 2pin design. This isn't a baked in DSP, it has several presets to choose from, and it also has a 6 band parametric equalizer. So you can tune the IEM to your tastes, or sample other targets without having to buy another set to determine if you like the general feel of the tuning or not.

The cable with the USB port is the DSP, which is branded for the Bunny IEMs. The IEMs are a single Dynamic driver type. They are basic IEMs like any other. And with an analog cable, they are still very well tuned and neutral. The DSP cable just adds additional functionality and tuning options to dial up different sound profiles. There is an Android App you can get from the Play Store, and a Desktop App you can download from Tanchjims website. There are several presets for the DSP cable you can choose from, that are specifically tuned for that particular IEM. (When you plug in the DSP cable, is is recognized as the Bunny DSP Cable) The App allows you access to the DSP cable, allowing you to adjust things through PEQ, and dial in your own sound. Either through mimicking another set via a site like squig.link or through custom/manual by ear tuning. This opens up a world of tonal possibilities, and allows you to really Taylor your sound profile. DSP isn't for everyone, but when used properly, can be extremely powerful, and very helpful, and can save you some time and money researching different tuning options. Because the Bunny is only $20, it gives you an exceptional value that no other set can. Because it allows you to experiment, essentially, "for free". Where as you would need to spend $40 to get a decent DAC with DSP on top of your IEM cost. The Bunny also happens to be fairly neutral, and has decent timbre for a $20 IEM, making it ideal for mixing. P.S. - I edited my last post to not sound like such an asshole. Sorry about that.

I would recommend you get a USB-A to USB-C Extension Cable. So you can plug into the back I/O Shield of the Motherboard. There is less potential Electrical Noise and Interference on the I/O shield plate, than say on a front panel connector where the cable has to run under the motherboard, or by the video card, etc. Now, i want to make something perfectly clear. Not all DSP IEMs are created equal. For example, the Chu2 DSP is what we would call a "Baked in DSP" Meaning that the IEM has a set profile for the DSP EQing, and it can NOT be changed. Simgot DSP IEM's are exactly the same way. However, something like the Bunny DSP has an entire app eco system to support it. So be very careful with selecting a DSP IEM. The only DSP IEM's I recommend are the Tanchjim Bunny or the NiceHCK Tears. Because both have a DSP app you can use to tun the IEM, and its not just a baked in profile that cant be altered. And at $20-30 they are a fantastic value for a beginner to try different sounds, without buying new samish IEM's.

Astroturfing. They are, at best, equal to a $20 IEM. MAYBE a $30 set. And that's about it. They have had 3 major revisions/retunes, which is classic KZ quality. Nearly all of the "reviews" you have seen of it, are fake. And all of the people saying "it competes with $200 IEMs" are bots, following the script for the Ad Copy in the Review Guide. There is Hype, and then there is Over Hype, and the Kunten is straight Over Hype. Like, it's bad enough that I've talked to Mods about the level of astroturfing, and we have found patterns to it. So it is absolutely a thing.

The Bunny is the most versatile starter set you can get. Even if you dont want to use the Desktop App, if you plug the bunny into your phone, select a DSP profile, and save it to the cable, it will hold that setting until you tell it to swap. Regardless of whether you plug it into another phone, a laptop, a PC, etc. Very convenient.

Those are bad IEMs and I see you're using them with super bad eartips, so it's no surprise you preffer the earbuds. Rec: you need good eartips that give you the best seal posible, I'd start with tangzu sancai. For a better IEM I'd recomend 7hz zero 2. Both IEMs you mentioned have peaky treble, at least the edc pro, I hated it, I expected it to be decent but I couldn't listen to it for more than 3 minutes. So, resuming, try 7hz zero 2 or ew100p with tangzu sancai. It's just the start of what IEMs can deliver, but trust me, it's a much better start

**Saw the top picks from** [Reddit Recs](https://redditrecs.com/iem/) recently, and wanted to make my own (in no particular order). Similar sounding IEMs will be grouped together with a slash "/", for example: "Tanchjim Bunny/Zero Ultima". You’re talking about comparing graphs when Dracomies don’t even have a database. Literally go look at mine. T10 is not warm, most people and reviewers call them bright leaning, or an all rounder before calling them warm. It doesn’t have enough mid-bass to be warm and too much treble. You and Dracomies are most likely mixing up the soft timbre in the treble as being warm. This is like being color blind and trying to convince others green is red, you’re technically not wrong, but certainly misleading.

>Yeah the Empire Ravens are a real all rounder These are more bass leaning than all-rounder, more slight v than balanced, also less refined in the treble vs LTD, again a bad example, I'd place the Raven as an bassy IEM more than an all-rounder (as others have described them as well) >FR Graphs are an AWFUL way to gauge anything. They don't tell half of half the story. Objectively wrong, they tell a lot with the right setup, not saying 100%, but definitely a lot >MA AE's respond very well to some very basic EQ nudges. Funny you didn't mention they're recessed treble which is by a VERY long way their biggest issue I literally did when I said "less treble extension and peakier" which is also reflected by the FR graph lmao you can't make this shit up >What's your background in music/audio? What's your body of work???Could you even make these? Yes, I tuned and released my own IEM, heard probably 400+ IEMs now, and make music on the side as a hobby. Look man, I'm happy for you that you were able to have a great career via music, I think that's very commendable, but there is also a chance that you might be in the minority here about the LTDs because not only to me, but also to the vast majority of reviewers - the LTDs are balanced and fits that all-rounder category, and definitely more than both the Ravens and the AEs, which is not only reflected by the FR graph, but also just by listening to them Ok I think I found where the disconnect lies: >tuned some of the best club soundsystems in the world... and produced/promoted/ran 1200+ music shows with some of the biggest artists in the world. I'd say my ears have served me pretty bloody well. This actually checks out with why you think those bassier IEMs are balanced because you’re probably used to clubs and festival speakers being tuned differently due to the context of getting people hyped, which is vastly different than audiophile listening or studio mixing which associates balanced with less coloration/less v and energy in both ends, for example I would never use the Ravens to master or mix a track due to the extra bass and peakier treble, and instead use something more neutral and smooth like the Crinear Reference

If you're really tight on budget, wired iems are the way to go. Can get decent enough sound for 20-30$, with a mic cable included, and would last a long time (providing you don't drop them). Tangzu Wan'er, Simgot EW100P, Truthear Gate, 7Hz Zero:2 are all popular, I have heard and can vouch the sound for, and have good track record of being sturdy. KZ has bad reputation here (it's a long story), can't speak for their sound as I haven't heard most of them, but I bet most of their stuff is sturdy enough too For a tight budget, I wouldn't bother with cheap wireless iems (TWS). Almost all of them sound bad (too much bass and treble) and there's no guarantee on the build quality or longevity, as they're battery powered and so many more things can go wrong (even cheap wired iems have a year's warranty from reputable sellers, plus the cables are replaceable)
