Can you try open ear earbuds like the yincrow calf? I really liked those despite being open and not in ear. Only issue was them not staying in the ear and I had to buy ear hooks (like these https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0Ppoh9) Soundstage was decent and they can actually be loud and powerful Edit: my end game ended up open earbuds due to earwax accumulating when using inear for too long I used the ew200, tanchjim zero and artti R1. Tanchjim zero had good soundstage for the price and was neutral. Ew200 was too shouty for games like genshin or star rail (have a lot of high pitched effects), artti r1 is bassy but not overbloated.
r/iems • Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->Ew200 has decent bass and I think the brightness help with strings and vocals Some people say the high frequencies are too shouty but I never had an issue in my musics The only time the treble hurt me was playing star rail which has a lot of treble special effects
r/iems • IEMs for Classical Music ->Do not go for ew200 if you play games with a lot of high frequency sound effects. I play genshin, star rail and find it too shouty for those. I heard from some apex legends players some guns can also be shouty. For music only it is great. Kefine delci I heard is similar to the artti r1 that I have (bass focused) so if you like bass then this can be the safer choice. I heard the cadenza has less bass but you can listen to it louder
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->Zero red.is more neutral (not totally neutral tough) ZS10 pro is more fun with enhanced bass and treble. Check squiglink and check the IEM graphs of both, the graphs are not everything but can show at least the sound signature of the IEM (zs10 is more V shaped) EW200 from simgot os V shaped as well, can be decent for music and FPS. I just don't like to use it to play genshin, star rail, wuthering waves. It seems many Chinese gacha games use A LOT of high frequency sound effects and the EW200 become very shouty in those games Edit: if you want IEM with more bass you can also check: QKZ HBB which is cheap and very fun for music and decent for FPS (around 20 USD, perfect to check of you would like a bassy sound signature), artti R1 for around 65 USD has great bass quality and intensity but enough treble for vocal to sound good, people also praise the kefine delci but I don't have it
r/iems • Quick question - ZS10 Pro vs ZERO: Red ->Arrti R1 has a very similar frequency response to the kefine delci, so I wonder how both compare to each other. My artti R1 feels a lot better than my first IEM (ew200), more bass but still has quality and enough treble to not be shouty when playing but vocals sound good
r/iems • Kefine Delci and Fiio JH5 review (personal opinion) ->I've just upgraded from the EW200 to these. The EW200 are much more bright - not much bass on them at all. But they're both a great option. It just boils down to if you want more or less bass and what sort of music you listen to etc.
r/headphones • Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED Earphones Review ->I have only 2 cheaper IEMs(qkz x hbb and simgot ew200). I am using EW200 every day, but it's because they are more comfortable for me. Too bad qkz x hbb are less comfortable because I actually prefer more bassy sound for immersive games and sim racing games are immersive as it can get and that bassy engine sound is music for my ears, but unfortunately I can wear qkz only for 2h max, while EW200 I can wear for 6h+. Too bad I don't have money now to test some other bassy IEMs to find the one that will fit in my ears just like ew200 fits.
r/simracing • Best iems for sim racing? ->Yep for me too, have some very expansive headphones, and the ew200 is still my go-to iem when I'm travelling or moving
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->I totally agree. The drivers are amazing in terms of their ability to deliver really good technical performance and details throughout the entire frequency response. The EW200 was too bright for me in the upper midrange and the treble. I fixed that by adding additional tuning mesh filters in order to get the overall tuning pretty close to my preferred HBB tuning target when used with Final Type E eartips. Regardless of whether or not I modded the EW200 to adjust the tuning in the upper midrange and treble, I haven't found an IEM below the EW200's price which can touch the EW200 in terms of the quality and resolution for the bass. The only single DD IEM which matches my modded EW200 is the Kefine Delci which is more expensive. The Delci's overall sound signature totally floats my boat.
r/iems • Are there any better IEMs than simgot EW200 under 50$ in terms of resolution, clarity and detailing with punchy and textured bass. ->I can not stand the Harman tuning even though this tuning is very popular with many people. My tuning preference is very similar to the HBB tuning. I prefer the HBB tuning's 8 dB rise for the simulated pinna gain in the upper midrange since the Harman tuning's 10 to 11 dB rise for the simulated pinna gain in the upper midrange is too sibilant for me. I also don't like how the Harman tuning decreases the lower midrange. Right now my two favorite IEMs under $300 are the Aful Performer 7 and the Dunu DaVinci. The Performer 7 simply is an improved version of the Performer 5 across the board. I still love my Performer 5 IEMs. At first I didn't like the DaVinci's powerful sub bass relative to the mid bass, but I found some eartips which fixed this issue such that the sub bass is in balance with the mid bass. I have some other favorite IEMs at lower price points. I was very surprised by how much I like the Kima 2 which Dunu sent to me. I knew that the Kima 2 uses single dynamic drivers, yet when I listened to the Kima 2 I could have sworn that there must also be BA drivers in the mix since the macro and micro details are very well defined. For example, the Kima 2 performs much better than the Thieaudio Legacy 2. It also dawned on me that the Kima 2 is tuned very similarly to the original Moondrop Starfield which was my first IEM, yet the Kima 2's technical performance is so much nicer to listen to in comparison to the OG Starfield. There always a very slight veil to the sound when I listened to the OG Starfield, and the Kima 2 totally rips any veil away. On the budget side, I really like the Simgot EW200 after I easily added some self adhesive mesh filters to shift the overall tuning from Harman to HBB. The transition after adding the mesh filters was splendid. The thing is that after adding the mesh filters to adjust the tuning, I was able to really appreciate the quality of the EW200's dynamic drivers. I hope that the above helps you with your research.
r/iems • What are you favourite IEMs Under $300? ->I get what you are saying about the overall sound not sounding coherent. I get what you are saying about the piezo driver timbre. I understand why the piezo driver sound is noticeable to you since reviewers have mentioned this. Some reviewers have noted the the EW300 bass is sluggish and lacks layering. This is a thing which I have noted on some Simgot IEMs such as the EM6L yet not on other Simgot IEMs such as the EW200. Is this perhaps what you mean when you say that the bass sounds bloated and not so much the strength but instead the cleanliness of the bass? I ask since the Chu II and the EW300 have nearly identical sound signatures from sub bass all the way up to the upper midrange. Please check out these frequency response graphs: [https://vortexreviews.squig.link/?share=Bad\_Guy\_Target,Moondrop\_Chu\_2,Simgot\_EW300\_Silver,Kefine\_Klean\_Silver\_Nozzle](https://vortexreviews.squig.link/?share=Bad_Guy_Target,Moondrop_Chu_2,Simgot_EW300_Silver,Kefine_Klean_Silver_Nozzle) The driver incoherence can be solved by using a really nice single DD IEM. Lately I have been really pleased with the technical performance of the Kefine Klean since the clarity of the macro details is very nice. More surprising is the clarity in the micro details which is very impressive for 50 dollar price tag. In other words, I did enjoy the moment when I started listening to the Klean. The Klean's bass is not bloated as in being muddy. I find the Klean's bass to be surprisingly clean with similar texture and detail as the bass on the EW200.
r/iems • EW300 just unbearable, need help! ->the EW200 (basically the cheaper and brighter Aria) or the EA500LM from Simgot
r/inearfidelity • Which iems are suitable for a person who likes bass? ->if you want cheap bassy ones just get KZ Castors ..nothing can beat them at this price in bass..if you want more technicalities and gaming wise get simgot ew200 or ew300 ..
r/iems • I'm new to IEM how'd I do? ->I use primarily budget IEMs. My on-the-go pair is usually my Chu 2s or Nuos. I do also occasionally use the LANs. At home I use the Kefine Kleans. The other sets I have include the Hexa, Delci, and EW200, and the THifi C2s. The Kleans provide me with clean and accurate male vocals while still sounding natural which is really what I'm looking for in an IEM.
r/iems • Best budget "wireless" IEMs? ->Interesting. I have the Delcis and EW200s and find the 200s to be a bit harsh at times. The Delcis though are great, especially with male vocals. I may give the T10s a chance after checking some reviews and the frequency graph. How is the fit on them. Do they seal relatively well?
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->Yeah, I own the EW200 and do find it to be harsh, and even a bit sibilant at times when it comes to certain vocals I've listened to. I did though get a tuning kit from Simgot recently and am looking to put it to work to hopefully take care of some of that. I will likely play around with the EQ a bit more before committing to putting mesh filters on though. Let's see how it goes.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->i have the ew 200 how do they compare to one another im curious to know
r/iems • Best possible iem in the range of 60-80$. Considering the EW300 & Tangzu XuanNv ->i have the ew 200 and they're very good for vocals i dont think its bad at all so id guess the ew300 are good too
r/iems • Best possible iem in the range of 60-80$. Considering the EW300 & Tangzu XuanNv ->For reference, I have an EW200, CCA CRA and KZ Castor Bass. I really love each of them and how bass heavy they sound. I also have the Zero 2 and although there is not a lot of bass, I love how wide it might sound with the right song. So would the EW300 be a substantial upgrade over the EW200 or would the DZ4 bring something new to the table? (I'd also shamelessly admit that I buy them mostly based on looks, so Celest Wyvern Abyss, BL03 and Truthear Nova are also in the cart for now)
r/iems • Simgot EW300 or Letaahuoer DZ4 for my next upgrade? ->Thanks. The ew200 is already a beast and I am in love with the sound, only caveat is that I just wish it sounded wider, in which case I guess there is no way I could go wrong with the EW300.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 or Letaahuoer DZ4 for my next upgrade? ->There isn't an easy answer for this. I've tried to find a good IEM with a boom mic combo for competitive gaming, but the more I read about this topic, the more confused I become about the solution. First of all, you can get something like the Kinera Celest Wyvern set, which includes both the IEM and mic for a low price. However, you will encounter compatibility problems if you decide to switch your IEMs but want to keep the same mic cable. Usually, a 2-pin connector will work with most IEMs, but there's a catch—not every IEM will be compatible. Sometimes, the connector has a little bit of plastic around it, or the IEM slot isn't perfectly flat. Occasionally, the connector is slightly recessed into the IEM itself, causing the cable not to fit. Another topic is the boom mic for IEMs. Check YouTube videos about them. They are 'average' at best. Most of the time, the voice quality is okay, but whenever they touch something, there are frustrating 'booping' and harsh noises. This is not very pleasant for your teammates. I've heard many times that they are fragile. You can pull on them with too much strength and even break the connection between the cable and the mic inside the mic arm (I'm not sure what to call that part). This happens because they are very thin, which is necessary since weight is a significant factor for them. My solution: A better alternative is a good pair of IEMs with a wide soundstage for gaming paired with a USB mic that has a headphone jack for monitoring, mounted on some type of arm. This way, you can change your IEMs without any trouble since they are not bound to a specific mic cable, and you will have much better voice quality with a regular microphone. Personally, I ordered the Fifine AM8 last week along with a pair of Simgot EW200 (mostly because of music quality) as my main combo. They haven't arrived yet, but I'll let you know in a few days how they work for me.
r/inearfidelity • Earbuds and IEM's With a Boom Microphone? ->Good, nothing more to say here. It's working as intended, the sound is clear, and my teammates noticed that I sound better than before (I used a Corsair Virtuoso RGB with a larger mic, as there are two versions). My only complaint is that the entire microphone is made of plastic, but that's nitpicking because it's hanging on a mic arm anyway. Edit: And of course, I have my IEMs connected directly to the mic and didn't notice any loss in sound quality. The monitoring is working fine, which is a big plus because the isolation in my EW200 is pretty good.
r/inearfidelity • Earbuds and IEM's With a Boom Microphone? ->Yeah I ended up with the EW200 and tuned it with mesh filters. I love it, but I’m a bit sad I couldn’t make the Reds work 😂 would’ve been nice to have them both for different tunings.
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->Holy shit it’s not just me. My left EW200 does the same thing.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->Does the left sound drastically quieter sometimes? Mine does, then I’ll readjust/let it sit for a bit and try again and it’s fine.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->Yeah lol I do the same too. I’ll come back to them my next gaming session/when I want to listen to music again and they’re fine. Well, at least I’m not crazy! I don’t own any others right now and I’m broke lol. I love them, but I can’t wait to have a reliable IEM again.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->I wonder if it’s a fit issue or a defect… I know simgot has had some qc issues with the EM6L and other models.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->Love my Simgot EW200 for budget gaming and music. Sound great on Warzone and Valorant. Far more comfortable than the Crinacle Zeros that everyone recommends, although the audio quality is similar IMO just different tunings. For $80 the Truthear Hexa is great and for around $100 the Simgot EM6Ls.
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->The 7hz Zeros and EW200s are both the king of their price points. Agreed on both fronts. I think the EW200 punches far above its price though, can’t say that for the 7hz Zeros.
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->Gate was my first iem and there was zero bass like none for me, didn't liked sound, but still good iem if you looking for detail, soundwize still not as good as 7hz 2 and tangzu I would say, than I jumped to EW200 and It opend a lot, I can feel bass well, vocals sound way better, great for gaming and feels premium cause metal shell overall really good set, but there is one con on ew200 and that's the treble as lot of people complain, on some musics can't listen on more than 50,60 volume it hits way to lound and bright, I still need to get used to sound.
r/iems • That escalated quick / Need you suggestion! ->I have the wan’er and love them, and have also had the ew200s (but honestly found them a bit boring) If you’ve tried them is this a good upgrade to the wan’ers?
r/iems • Wake Up, New $50 recommendation is here ->I have the Hexa's and they are great mid-high. I tried to upgrade them with the ew200's, the low end is awesome but the highend has a 5-6k gain over the hexa's that is a bit sibilant for me but otherwise very similar. I'm waiting for the Simgot Supermix 4, that seems to be very similar to the Hexa but with Bass similar to the ew200. They will be my next upgrade after almost getting there with the ew200
r/iems • Upgrades from the Truthear Hexa ->Are they heavy or light? As in the actual IEM shell itself. Weight is my biggest issue with metal iems, like the Simgot EW200 is really small but it's heavy compared to plastic or resin iems and so comfort suffers when using for a while.
r/iems • Help me choose small but good IEMs under $100-120 ->I have been using the red for over 8months to tell you, that theyre arent very special. With n without the bass adapter. I have been prefering the Simgot Ew200 over them, due to the sheer resolution n detail the ew200 offers. The red is is bass boosted. The bass is there, but its not very Textured.
r/iems • people with crinacle zero reds, how are they for music? ->EW200 - stupidly shrilly - eardrum buster
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->Hey I’ll recommend the simgot ew200 for sure also the 7hz salnotes zero aren’t bad for gaming either. Especially the spatial sound L/R location capability is great on the zeros. Under a $100, the simgot EM6L are great too
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->Oof, we'll be here all day . Ok here is a list , whatever comes to mind ,, the list is going to be absolutely massive. 7hz Salnotes Zero (both 1 and 2) Moondrop Chu ( 1 and 2) Tangzu Wanner Ziigaat Nuo Kiwi Ears Cadenza Simgot EW200 Kefine Delci QoA Vesper 2 Moondrop Aria 2 Moondrop May Truthear Hexa Truthear x Crinacle Zero (all of them) Simgot EA500LM Final Audio E500 - E3000 7Hz Sonus Tanchjim Zero Tanchjim 4U Tanchjim Ola and Ola Bass HZSound Heart Mirror Pro Truthear Gate Kinera Celest Pandamon (both) Kinera Celest Plutus Beast
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->This is a good list! I would personally recommend Simgot IEMs for those looking for the bright-neutral signature like the [Simgot EW200](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.mLSaH). The Simgot SuperMix 4 in particular is moreso based sa reviews that I'm seeing is that it has a bass boosted neutral signature so a better all rounder. I personally have the [Kiwi Ears Quintet](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.mLS1N) as my daily driver alongside a [Simgot EA500LM](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.mLSfB). I don't like Headphones in general due to the itchiness and heat around my ear after wearing them for like an hour and the foam always melts after a month of usage haha. The Kiwi Ears Quintet has a slight increase in the upper mids for a detailed experience while also having a bass boost kinda like the supermix 4 but the supermix 4 has a better price than the Quintet.
r/PHGamers • New IEM’s for gaming! 😮💨👌🏻 ->Dude mag simgot ew200 ka na lang para mura lang thats like 2k pwedeng pwede na mag fps yun goods ka na HAHA bakal pa yung body beater na beater. Edit: If gusto mo upgrade talaga EA500LM ka may three nozzles sya nagiiba ng slight ang sound tas mas maganda pa sa EW200 and that's like 4k di mo na need magspend more pa. The diminishing returns kasi mararamdaman mo ng 5k and above na. You should only buy more than 5k kapag sure ka na yun ang gusto mo na sound for an IEM.
r/PHGamers • New IEM’s for gaming! 😮💨👌🏻 ->EW200 isn't lacking bass with the right tips. Render tips do the job.
r/iems • Are there any better IEMs than simgot EW200 under 50$ in terms of resolution, clarity and detailing with punchy and textured bass. ->OK. I think you basically want very rolled off sub-bass. The Moondrop SSR sounds like that. The Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite (a bit out of your budget, but I'll describe it anyway) has something similar, which I call "Tannoy Bass", because a lot of Tannoy speakers sound like this. They have really hard-hitting transients, but the actual bass weight behind it isn't there because the sub-bass is rolled off so hard. The SSR is actually a bit softer than that and sounds pretty much exactly how you described it. The Orchestra Lite is more like the Castor bass in terms of having that hard-hitting quality, but it doesn't have the same extension, so it lacks fullness and sounds slightly metallic. I usually describe it as drum hits sounding a bit like anvil strikes. What's really happening is you're getting more of the transient harmonics, but not the [fundamental](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_fundamental) or undertones. Somewhere about halfway between those two is the Simgot EA500 (not the LM), which has a very midbass focused, punchy kind of bass but it's not crazy elevated like the Castor. The overall tuning is bright-neutral and the bright part of that is very bright. Definitely a fatigue risk. The EA1000 is much better in that sense, but well outside your budget. It's also got a bit more bass than the EA500 but the presentation is similar. I'd say the EA1000 is just right to reproduce drums correctly. So EA500 is lower, so it's more like all the correct details are there, but the level is "as it is mixed" rather than "how it should sound" if that makes sense. Real drums are actually really loud and tend to be down-mixed to avoid drowning out everything else. Some graphs: https://squig.link/?share=Harman_Adjusted_Target,KZ_Castor_(DDUU),Simgot_EA500_(red),Moondrop_SSR Note the way the bass curves and peaks around 150Hz rather than rising all the way into the sub-bass. I don't remember the Conch having that sort of effect though. IDK if you've heard the Simgot EW200, but the Conch is almost identical, except that the EW200 has much cleaner treble. On the Conch it's quite peaky (in addition to being a bit bright like the EW200), so I found it hard to listen to. The bass was pretty much identical though, as far as I can remember. Only thing is I notice a lot of people complain about the EW200 lacking bass, because of tips. So it's possible you were getting that effect with the Conch, causing the sub-bass to be rolled off even though it doesn't measure like that: https://pw.squig.link/?share=TRN_Conch_Red,Simgot_EA500_Red,Simgot_EW200 I haven't heard the Ouranos so I'm not sure how that compares. Another thing to consider is that how bass instruments sound is only partially to do with the bass tuning. The bass affects the fundamentals, but transients on drums especially get right up into the high treble. So a more V-shaped or U-shaped tuning can put more emphasis on that initial strike (as I described the Orchestra Lite), although the more elevated the treble relative to the bass, the more likely it will lean into sounding metallic rather than plasticky.
r/iems • "Tactile" Bassy IEMs? ->I have or have had all of these. 1. Ziigaat Nuo - Didn't like these. Tonality is OK but the soundstage is very flat, almost like listening in mono. 2. TRN Conch - These are basically a worse-tuned Simgot EW200. Quite bright like the EW200, but with added treble spikes that make it worse. The EW200 is good and pretty techincal but somewhat v-shaped. 3. EPZ Q1 Pro - These are good with caveats, see below. 4. Blon BL03 - Great fun v-shaped tuning (lots of bass and treble, but mids are recessed so they don't work well for all music). Fit can be a problem because they have really short nozzles. Initially, I really didn't like the EPZ Q1 Pro because it had quite spiky treble. However I seem to have solved this by using Whizzer ET100 tips. With those tips, they are much more balanced and sound like a competent Harman-neutral that sounds quite clean & doesn't get too bright. Soundstage is about average, but imaging is quite good. The reason I caveat this is that just because the ET100 tips work for me, doesn't mean they will work for you. They are an unusually long tip, and these sound wrong to me with every other tip I've tried, which tells me that there's a length-mode resonance that affects their tuning in a way that I don't get on any of my other ~30 IEMs. So I assume they are more sensitive than average to the length of your ear canal, and hence YMMV quite a lot. I have the Q1 and the Q1 Pro. I don't recommend the original Q1 unless you specifically want a very dark tuning. It's quite odd and not a safe recommendation at all. The Pro is completely different, much more normal Harman tuning not unlike lots of other IEMs but it's quite a nice one iff you get lucky with the stock tips or can find ones that fix the resonances. The Kiwi Ears Cadenza is quite similar to the EPZ Q1 Pro, but it's very slightly darker and bassier. Imaging on the EPZ is slightly better & the soundstage is a bit bigger, but it's only a small difference. The Cadenza is a bit of a safer option because a lot more people have it and it's very consistently recommended. Might be outside your budget unless it's on sale though. In terms of build quality, I'd say the EPZ > Nuo > Conch > Cadenza > EW200 > BL03. The EW200 is the worst-looking and feels a bit cheap despite being all-metal. The BL03 feels very solid but looks a bit bland and the short nozzle is a problem. The EPZ, Nuo and Candenza are all comfortable ergonomic shells, but the Cadenza is the lightest. The Conch comes with the best cable, but it's not a standard 2-pin, it's QDC, so not great for use on other IEMs. The BL03 cable is terrible and it's hard to find replacements that fit properly.
r/iems • Looking for Quality IEM under $25 ->It's not 100% flat neutral (but nothing is in that price range), more U-shaped, but the Tin C2 is very good. It gets closer to neutral with Spinfit CP-100+ tips since those roll off the extra upper treble that they have, leaving it as pretty neutral with a slight bass boost. But they have very clean, well extended treble that IMO puts them quite ahead of the 7Hz Zero or Zero 2 for technical performance. Similar to the Simgot EW200 but that's a lot more v-shaped. Also the C2 has the best build quality out of any of those. The older one (which is now around $20) is closer to neutral than the 2025 version, which has a bit more sub-bass and sounds slightly more v-shaped. Both are very similar though. You probably wouldn't know there was a difference if you listened to them a day apart rather than A/B them side-by-side. If you want more of a bright-neutral with flatter bass, the Moondrop LAN is pretty good (around $40).
r/iems • What neutral sounding iems have the best technicality, especially sound stage at or under 50$? ->Ew200 are good with gaming. You can definitely hear where the footsteps coming from. Played in Valo, CS, and I will try it with rainbow 6.
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->KZ Castor. But I would suggest to stretch your budget and get the Simgot EW200.
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->Yup, just bought a EW200 based on reviews expecting it to outperform $100+ IEMs only to be disappointed. It barely outperforms my Castor Silver which is less than half the price.
r/iems • Which iem's are the best out of these as beginner? ->There are so many reviews for the truthear red, so I asked what are your expectations for $50. If you want my long answer they are overhyped even compared to others in its price category Bass is has little impact/punch as is kinda of boomy sounding or uncontrolled. Mids are smoothed over to the point where I think metal sounds dull, and so do most vocals, And the highs are kind of rolled off, nothing really wrong there, just not much to talk about. However I am biased as I prefer a brighter midrange, punch and slam over deep bass rumble and a smooth airy top end. The ew200 to me has a better sound although a bit shouty and sometimes a bit too bright. But I'd take that over dull for 98% of my library
r/iems • people with crinacle zero reds, how are they for music? ->I've been daily driving the EW200 fro a few months. They're amazing! 😍
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->Try CMF Buds 2 Pro. I gotta be honest. I just spent $120 USD on a pair of Nothing Ear 2 and my $40 Simgot EW200 sound better. I'm thinking about returning the TWS earbuds. I wanted something that sound as good as my IEMs but with the convenience of wireless... But it's not even close. Much more detail with the $40 IEMs.
r/iems • Best budget "wireless" IEMs? ->I love my EW200, use them daily for months. Try buying an IEM with different tuning. Everyone has their preferences.
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->I've had them since January. They've been dropped a few times, but they still sound as good as day 1. I use them daily for PC gaming and I also plug them into my TV for watching shows and movies. 👍
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->yes i did, and I can confidently say that for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, these iems are THE BEST under this price bracket. I say that with so much confidence because before buying these, i got the simgot ew200 which I returned. you might have heard people say "go for the ew200 for gaming" but thats complete bullshit. i play val myself and i can gladly tell you that the soundstage and 3D imaging on the kleans is far superior to the ew200. the directional audio, figuring out the exact location of the enemy using the kleans is much easier to do with these iems. i also recommend you pair it with an audiocular d07 dac and amp like i did to get the best out of your iems.
r/iems • Kefine Klean Review ->I bought and returned 'em. Gunshots in val completely burst my eardrums. Bought the kefine klean after that, which I would recommend because they are far better than the ew200 in every way. Best under the price bracket, and not just me who says this. Soundstage and 3D imaging is far better than the ew200 as well.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->SIMGOT EW200 could be a good match. Not exactly white, but clean looking for sure. Praised for their clarity and technicalities (soundstage & imaging) which should make them work well for gaming.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->Saw you already considered them along with the TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace. The EW200 are nearly universally considered very good in technicalities (for the price). The Vivace on the other hand often have their technicalities listed as one of their clear weak points. Although considering their slight price difference, it's a fair trade-off: Vivace \~$25-$30 vs EW200 \~ $40-$46 Up to you whether you want to save a bit of money for slightly less technical capabilities or not.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->Thank you for your service, you write a good guide for the community! I have Simgot EW200 and am considering getting a good upgrade for it. I'm considering the TRN White Tiger because I been hearing good words toward it from reviewers, some prefer it than EW300, and it is packed with good accessories. My question is, is it a good upgrade in terms of tech than the EW200? I listen to Pop, RnB, Metalcore, Rap, some acoustics, and daily sessions of story games with a good atmospheric soundtrack, will it suit me? One says the treble is somewhat far, is it far? I like EW200 treble but it is too energetic for my long sessions. Oh yeah and, PRX, does my 7hz 71 dac with 70mw can drive it?
r/iems • !THE SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST! ->Thanks. Back then I own CCA CRA+ which is V-Shape, I enjoy that sets so much, it keeps the dance going. EW200 gives me a "wow" moment with its detail, but I feel lacking the "fun" moment, that's why i tend to consider some bassy iem, which leads me to TRN White Tiger.
r/iems • !THE SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST! ->Don't get the ew200, those are awful for hearing steps, I replaced mine with qkz x hbb for gaming and are better and cheaper but recently I got tangzu fudu version 1 to upgrade from the qkz and these are really good and smooth, insane for gaming
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->Also soundstage and everythings literally better ew200 knocks out 100-150$ iems as well
r/iems • My favorite IEMs under $150 ->simgot iems are all variations of bright tunings, with each upgrade offering better soundstage, technicalities & detail retrieval. so ew200
I bought them, and am using them right now. They're good. Very good. I do, however, not have experience with "High end earbuds", the only other in-ears I've used are Simgot EW200s. **Importantly, I bought them for £140 (180USD).**
r/iems • How good are iems compared to high end earbuds? ->Fit for me? Totally fine. Good and easy seal (With included L tips), and no soreness to mention. That could be because I came directly from the SIMGOT EW200s which HURT for like the first 2 weeks before... I dunno, my ears gave up and changed shape or something. All this is obviously subject to individuals. For note: * I used the EW200s for over a year; and have had the SM4s for about a month. * I haven't timed, but my average **will** be above 7 hours/day. Days off would be near... 10-12 hours; and working days are either 2 or 5 hours plus the time I'm home... so probably similar or more. Sound quality? Compared to the EW200s could be summarised as: >Overall better. Bass was shockingly high, but not in an overbearing way (but iirc the EWs were practically non-existent), and clarity/technicalities are probably similar or better (I haven't done literal 1:2/A:B testing). Anything specific I could mention --ie; Male/Female vocals, instruments, etc-- are all just going to be "very enjoyable and good quality". I'm don't have the vocabulary or experience with varied sets of audio devices to explain much more. * I am not a "bass head". I much prefer a quality vocal/mid-instrumental performance. They deliver, and have bass that actually shows up. I also have some old over-ear DT990 Pros. Similar price tag at time of purchase, not used in a long while; I'd say the SM4s are much better (and have all the benefits of IEMs). The only downside from EW200s-to-SM4s is that my 16yo MP3 player that I used for work couldn't actually power... something? Like, they made noise to an adequate volume, but it was like... 3 of the 4 drivers were turned off, or something. I did, however, desperately need to replace that little guy.
r/iems • How good are iems compared to high end earbuds? ->Ew300 is a fantastic iem! I prefer the sound signature of it than the elder brother sm4 Ew200 is still my favourite bright sounding iem. Simgot did a great job with these two iems.
r/iems • Truthear Blue 2s are here ->Hi! Are these earphones as bright as simgot ew-200. My ears ached when i listened to songs on the simgot. Brightness is not suited for me.
r/iems • Tangzu YuXuanJi Review ->I had EW200 which i returned. Now i have TANGZU Yu Xuan Ji , even that was not comfortable, like lightly piercing is what i will call it but that got OK with spinfit cp145 eartips. I was laying with EQ and decided to up the 4-6kHz freq. and thats how i got this response from my ears.
r/iems • EW300 or Supermix 4 ->Simgot EA500LM is probably closest to having 8 inch monitor speakers on your desk. The EW200 also works, these are very similar. If you want something less bassy like 5 inch monitor speakers, there's EPZ Q1 Pro.
r/inearfidelity • Budget IEM for video editing/mobile gaming? ->There's a lot of more than nice options mate: -Kefine Klean (but there's reports of channel imbalance and issues with the nozzles, my unit is kicking ass fine) -Inawaken Dawn ms, a little less technical than Klean but more musical (waiting it to arrive soon) -Sgor Luna one of the best planar iems for less than 50 bucks (loving it mine) -KZ PRX the best planar by the brand, trades blows with the Luna (waiting it to arrive soon) -KZ Vader Balanced/CCA Trio oh yes, so fun, musical and technical (loving my Vader Bal and HighRes) -Artti T10 the best planar for 50ish bucks -7hz x HBB Elua oh yes , a better and more technical and fun driven iem than legato, basshead approved (loving my unit, is a well received iem in head-fi) -Simgot EW200, dude, that iem doesn't need presentation 😅 -TRN White Tiger, impressive good tuned, interesting config, I'm not so much into the shell looking but is made of metal and well builded, is what matters to me
r/iems • What are the best IEM's under 50 dollars? ->Simgot EW200 $40, basically same as aria 2 but cheaper. Artii R2 - $35, smooth like a budget tanchjim origin Artii T10 - $50 insane value, basically a s12 - has really good tech for the price [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806284054345.html?)](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806284054345.html?)) Crinacle Zero Red - $55 great all rounder, harman target I would personally get the R2 because it is warm neutral with a bass boost so it would fit most tracks of yours, and it's really cheap. EW200 for the vocals though, probably the best vocals under $50 great for bright tracks like J-Pop, K-Pop, and EDM.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best IEMs in 2024 for Under $50? ->These were my first and they were honestly terrible. Sounds weren’t accurate and sounded way too thin. I swapped to the EW200 and those are amazing for gaming and music.
r/iems • Opinions for gaming? ->Kz zs10 pro, Artti T10, artti r2, Simgot ew200, 7hz sonus, 7hz zero, truthear zero red if you can spend a little more than truthear hexa.
r/iems • Best balanced IEM ~$50 ->If treble too spicy, can always get the EA500 tuning kit from AliExpress. Swap out the existing filter with a 200, 300, or 500 mesh filter. Have the 500 on my EW200
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->Zero2 was my 1st budget iem, also simgot ew200 is great vaule.
r/DigitalAudioPlayer • Budget IEMs for Hiby R1 ->The Simgot's ew200 is a really good iem in the price range you're looking at I've been using it for a while now listen, it's worth every single penny
r/iems • Getting budget IEM’s, But which one is best? ->Can you extend your budget? There are great $20 IEMs but for your needs Simgot EW200 seems like the perfect fit, it's $35 on AliExpress but it would beat any $20 IEM considering your requirements.
r/iems • Under $20 best iems? ->EPZ Q1 Pro or save up and get Simgot EW200, or even further Artti T10.
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->EW200 iirc doesn't have that problem, as for Chu 2 it's really just the nozzle while the shell itself is fine, plenty of IEMs have metal shell.
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->I have the ew 200 and the cca trio which is supposed to be a direct upgrade to the castor and no the ew 200 is still better,it mainly has to do with the sharper treble and lower bass vs the castor/trio that it doesnt get recommended much. the thing about the trio is its more power hungry vs ew 200 so needs an amp to make it better than the ew 200 as for the castor, the ew 200 is simply better. the detail retrieval of ew 200 is still stellar and for instrumental and classical i still prefer it to the cca trio. only bass heads would tell you the castor is better than the ew 200.
r/iems • Kz Castor pro vs Kz saga: Two best budget iem comparison review.. which one better? ->Got the ew200 yesterday !
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->I love the Wan'ers as well despite owning quite a few more competent IEMs. They are just so much fun and musical. The Wan'ers alongside the Simgot EW200 are my "low-end" combo that I use with my iPod Classic. If you are thinkin about returning stuff, you can also consider returning the FiiO as well and go with something that's better regarded in the $100 price backet. I haven't personally tried the FiiOs, but from what I heard they are quite outclassed nowadays. In the $100 you could look for a Letshuoer S12 or for the Simgot EA500 LM. I've had the Letshuoer S12 Pro for about 16 months now and I still use them often despite owning other more competent pairs. I haven't used the Simgot EA500 LM but they've been pretty hyped lately and I tend to believe the hype because the Simgot EW200 which I own is pretty mindblowing in terms of detail retreival at around $35-40.
r/headphones • I am blown away ->Both the frequency range limits as well as the impedance/sensitivity are irrelevant for most intents and purposes. That said, EW200 is one of the best IEMs you can get in terms of sheer technicalities but also tuning. They're one of my favorites. I own a few pricier pairs of IEMs including one in the $1K range and I still use the EW200 regularly.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best IEM for around 35$? ->(amongst the iems have I owned) s tier: kiwi ears ke 4 and truthear hexa a+ tier: Ikko OH10, Pula PA02, Shuoer s12 pro, Sennheiser ie200, Kefine Delci, Dunu Titan S OG a tier: Dunu Titan s2, Tanchjim One, pre revision CCA CRA+ A- tier: Binary Chopin, Tangzu Waner Studio, KZ PR2 pre revision, Tripowin Olina SE B+ tier: Kiwi Ears Quintet, Tangzu Xuan Ji, Simgot EW 200, Truthear Gate and Hola, Tangzu Wan'er SG B tier: Moondrop Chu 2 and OG, KZ EDA Balanced, Kiwi Ears Quartet, Moondrop Aria Snow, FiiO Jade Audio JH3, Tripowin Lea B- tier: 7hz zero OG, Truthear Zero Blue, Whizzer BS1 C tier: KZ CRN D tier: Moondrop Quarks honorable mentions: Koss KSC75 in A minus, Porta Pro in B, Moondrop Space Travel in B-, Galaxy Buds Plus and 2 in A minus along with Airpods Pro Gen 1, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in A plus.
r/headphones • Rank your headphones (2025 edition) ->Love my ew200. Great soundstage for FPS games. Not so great for music though.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->Funnily enough I thought I felt that way. I've had the KZ ZS10 Pro X, Simgot ew200 and ew300 and sold them all because I thought the treble was too much for me. But I've just bought the NiceHCK E2BS Pro (chifi naming makes me want to kill myself) flathead earbuds and I'd say they're even brighter, but I love them. I feel like a lot of people possibly just don't like that brightness in an IEM. I feel like it's uncomfortable having that much 'noise' trapped in your ear. But open-back earbuds fix that with being so well, open
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->I'd say the Simgot ew200 are a slightly better choice than these. I had a set of these and currently have the ew200, I do feel the ew200 are a little more refined and a better sound.
r/inearfidelity • I'm about to buy a KZ Zs10 Pro X, which is said to be one of the best earphones from that brand. But I wanted to ask if you know of any other in-ear earphones that are better? I can spend up to $200 USD ->I was in the same predicament as you about a month ago. I ended up getting the EW200, and so far, I'm really liking them. I was almost set on getting the Zero Red, but after watching nearly every review available on YouTube, I decided to pass on them for two main reasons: they have a thin plastic shell, and they are quite large, to the point where many people complained about finding them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. The EW200 doesn't have either of those issues. It's tough to say which ones have the better tuning since all of them have their own strengths, and preferences vary. I’ve seen a few people mention the Artii T10. I found them on sale for around the same price as the Zero Reds, but I decided against buying them due to their large size (similar to the Reds), below-average build quality, and the need for a DAC with sufficient power to drive them properly—an additional expense I wasn't willing to take on at the moment. I’ve read that people say they sound better than anything else at their price point, and I wouldn’t argue with that, but if you can’t get a decent fit, it doesn’t matter how good they sound, in my opinion. You mentioned they cost 84 USD where you live. Personally, I’d add a little more money and get the Letshuoer S08 at that point. Hope this helps!
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->I really don't recommend KZ because it sounds generic compared to my Salnote Zero. I mostly recommend Tangzu Wan'er, Truthear's Hexa and ZERO, Salnote's ZERO and ZERO:2, Simgot EW200. KZ is decent but their whole lineup sounds the same, that overwhelming bass and fatiguing treble is the most cons of their products.
r/inearfidelity • I'm about to buy a KZ Zs10 Pro X, which is said to be one of the best earphones from that brand. But I wanted to ask if you know of any other in-ear earphones that are better? I can spend up to $200 USD ->I started with kz dfi, had some imbalance issues later on. Now using EW200.
r/Bolehland • Headphone recommendations ->EW200 are brighter and follow the Harman target more or less with some added sparkle up top. The Draco are warmer with thicker lower mids and more midbass than sub-bass, so you get a warmer response and darker upper end. I'd get the EW200 over the Draco because of the Better end-to-end extension and superior technical performance and resolution. If you instead want a darker and warmer set with a bigger soundstage, then the Draco can be an interesting set, given that you'll have to be ok with the average technical performance and resolution.
r/headphones • TRI Draco Review (IEM) ->Overear style at around RM100: Koss KSC75 It is a clip on over ear style wear, but you can mod it adding the headband with mods join r/kossmods if you want to see how they do it DIY, very active subreddit Koss Porta Pro It has a headband by default if you don't want to mod KSC75, this headphone sounds bass-ier then KSC75 AKG K52 (K72 & K92 is more expensive) Sony brand entry level priced options is bassy muddy no clarity, not good Senheiser brand you need to spend alot more to have comparable level of quality Audio technica, Focal, Audeze, Hifiman Abyss, Grado all way overprice In Ear Monitor style headphones at around RM100: Moondrop Chu 2 (if you can spend more, get Moondrop Lan) Tangzu Wan Er SG (vocal/singer forward tuning) Blon BL03 (if enjoyment is what you want) Simgot EW200 (good "clarity" but very sibilant sound) I bet many people here will recommend KZ, QKZ, or CCA, i see too many reports of QC issue and DOA case to suggest avoid at all cost, very shady handling of stock All of the above are wired headphones, you want real good quality headphones, get wired, wireless cannot compare, because bluetooth cannot do lossless audio playback, even with Qualcomm Aptx HD or Sony LDAC Source: i can qualify as an audiophile, tried many headphones
r/Bolehland • Headphone recommendations ->Yes thanks. I enjoy the fudu verse 1 (dark bassy), tagzu Waner (vocals), ew200(quite bright but okish. The edition xs way too bright for me (I lasted 1min haha). I think I will go the pula pa02/d41 route
r/headphones • Experienced $100 vs. $1000 IEMs. Here are my thoughts. ->Bro recently i bought simgot ew200 and it sound really bad and harsh for my ears but not after 1 month its sound well But. When i change default eartips to wide bore eartips it’s sound just wow . So I recommend to u shoud take some time and try wide bore eartips and you see every thing is fix.
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->Bro recently i bought simgot ew200 and it sound really bad and harsh for my ears but not after 1 month its sound well But. When i change default eartips to wide bore eartips it’s sound just wow . So I recommend to u shoud take some time and try wide bore eartips and you see every thing is fix. You. Should try this bro
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->Bro no need to eq. You just change the eartips of default one to wide bore eartips and your every problem like shouty and harsh sound is solved. ☺️. And. Take some. Days simgot ew200 is great iem. I’m using it from 3 month’s. I’m facing lot’s of problems with this iem its shouty and harsh sound i try everything but nothing work for me then one day I decid and i try difrant eartips then my problm solved
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->Bro i don’t know but I’m using ew200 last 2 months. And. Now I getting happy so i think yo give some time
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->https://youtu.be/cQHTcJYJRgQ?si=LhJCGKA9VYCThhSv Play this audio at 80% for full night. i think then you’re problem will be solve
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->For that price, maybe you would like to check the Simgot ew200, as It has a pretty treble foward signature while having a good amount of bass that does not mud the rest of the sound, so might be a middle ground that you could like, that said, some people find the treble of the ew200 a bit too harsh, so keep that in mind.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->Im kinda sad that most IEMs with that kind of bass (pretty kicky, but clean - althought mostly on cheaper iems), like the ew200, trn conch, TKZK Ouranos, and so on, for some reason always come with a foward upper half. Idk if its a driver thing, but i would like something like the ew200 driver but with a basshead tuning.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->vivace would be a lot safer to use since ew200 has a foward treble
r/iems • Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->EW200 and Red still holds the ground for $50 Budget
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->The TE Nova is Harman, not Vshaped (diff is in harman having less mid bass = thinner sounding, but also more detail/ less recession in mids vs Vshape). Also the hexa isnt even in the same realm of bright as the EW200 or EA500LM...much more neutral than those two And Zero Red is harman 2019. Its neutralish but not completely neutral (has decent amount of bass and elevation in upper mids)
r/iems • Best IEM for under 30$ and 25$ ->I'm a decades long audiophile, and my final home stereo/surround system includes an Audio Research all tube amp, Audible Illusions preamp, and Mirage M3 chin high speakers. A high end Lexicon surround processor feeds the side and rear speakers through separate amps. Back in the mid-90's I purchased the Sennheiser HD580 and Beyerdynamic 990, but these were considered just 'accessories' those days. I enjoyed them with the portable devices available at the time, but my main stereo system got the spotlight. In 2020, during covid, I became more interested in headphones. I was struck by the huge community of hobbyists and all of the DACS, amps, and headphones available. So I entered the headphone world and became an enthusiast. Over 4 years and many DAC/amp/headphone combinations I settled on a recent mid-level Topping DAC, an excellent XDuoo hybrid amp, 5 Beyerdynamic headphones (including the DT 1990) as my favorites. And then I added the Arya Organic. At that point I figured the bang to buck ratio precluded the need for any further improvements. You know what happened next-- I kept seeing articles, comments, and videos about IEMs and had to see what all the fuss was about. I bought the KZ Terminator and had problems getting a good seal. I had to work with the over-ear cords to get them right. Had to purchase different tips-- and then it all started working right. I soon got the s12 pro, Simgot EW200, 300, and EA1000. I've now added the Ziigaat x Fresh Arete and Hidizis mp 145 and Aful Explorer to my favorites. So is it all hype? No, IEMs can really sound great. It's more of an intimate, in the head experience than headphones, and the sound is immersive. Are they 'better' than headphones? No. They're different, but not necessarily better. My DT 1990's and Arya Organic's still reign supreme, overall. And my home stereo system is still the best in terms of a more realistic, big-scale sound. The difference between a large speaker home setup, and headphones, and IEMs is all about the scale of the sound. IEMs just can't match the scale of the Organics, and the Organics aren't replicating music in the scale of a speaker system. But the IEM experience is very addictive. I think that part of the attraction, after the immersive quality, is the simple novelty of it all. I'm putting these tiny things into my ears and I'm getting this relatively huge experience And they're so comparatively cheap. Back in my home stereo days a component could cost 2-3K or more. The Organics cost $1300. My EA1000's cost $225, and I think of these as equal to my DT 1990's, although at a smaller scale.
r/iems • Are IEMs Really That Much Better, or Just an Audiophile Flex? ->Do these also have driver flex problems? I have that issue on my ew200. Otherwise I really like them
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->I'm not 100% sure it's driver flex. It clicks when going inside my ear and I have to adjust it to get equal sound from both iems. No problem with the right ear.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->Hi guys I know sorry for asking this suggestion question but I am in great confusion so many iems are there i already have s12 for music listening and in laptop use as well, ew200 for rough use like going outside or for a walk I will use this one. I love my s12 it has good music separation and soundstage but sometimes it felt heavy and fatigue for me those times for two or three days I don't use when I listened hip/hop ,edm sometimes I get fatigue so that's why I am asking I want less treble but similar or better soundstage and sound separation any iem in this category I would to love to buy .but don't want to buy above 200$ I don't think it's fair for other iems to use so I want to use them equally Quick note : i already have planar driver i am not looking for one to buy I am using fiio ka3 dac 3.5mm and 4.4mm, ak10 Bluetooth dac 2.5mm and 3.5mm, Ventura electronics Abigail 3.5mm dac
r/inearfidelity • Best iem for music separation and soundstage under 150-200 $ ->I had an ew200, you may not like the simgot sizzle, hence my choice as alternate would be the nuo or q1 pro from you list.
r/iems • Looking for Quality IEM under $25 ->I suggest against it for gaming. Positional cues are vague. Great for music and movies though.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->Moondrop Chu 2 Tangzu Wan er SG/Studio edition(to be released late june) Truthear Gate Truthear Zero red Simgot EW200 Simgot EA500(LM) 7Hz Zero 2 All of these sets are well known and beloved by many in the audio community. Easily replacable too given their cheap price.
r/rhythmgames • Anyone using IEM's to play games? ->You can get a better iem and cheaper dac. Avoid KZ, get something like simgot ew200 and for the dongle, the Apple dongle is enough (not sure abo the compatibility though)
r/headphonesindia • IEM suggestion for Samsung phone ->Best is subjective. The IEM world has so much variety and your enjoyment would depend greatly on personal preference. What’s great for one person could be trash for someone else. In my opinion, the best way to approach this hobby is to sample numerous sets of various tunings. Try not to blind buy one set, using most or all of your budget, based only on recommendations. You may end up wasting money in the long run buying expensive sets with tuning you later realize you don’t prefer. Think about your tuning preference. Do you want a lot of bass (warm sound)? Or do you want more treble (crisp/bright sound)? Do you want something balanced (middle ground)? Or do want something with a bass boost with a treble boost (V shape)? If you want a boost in upper mids (vocal forward)? If you really can’t sample first, and can only buy, I recommend starting at the low end, then upgrading from there. This is my cheap starter collection (take note, I’m treble senstive, so some of my classifacations may be a bit skewed)… * Bassy - Tanchjim Tanya DSP * Slight v-shape - 7hz Zero 2 * Balanced - Moondrop Chu 2 (good for smaller ear canals) * Vocal forward - Tangzu Wan’er * Treble leaning - 7hz Zero (original) If you can’t sample, most newbies favor V-shaped or balanced IEMs. If you have a little more money to experiment with... * Bassy - Blon x HBB z300 * Warm - Kiwi Ears Cadenza * Warm leaning - Truthear Zero Blue* * v-shape - Truthear Nova * Neutral - Truthear Zero Red* * Slight treble focus - Truthear Hexa * Treble leaning - Simgot EW200 and Simgot EA500LM *thick nozzles, not recommended for narrow ear canals. I’m not a gamer, but I’ve noticed that gamers here often recommend v-shaped IEMs like the Zero Blue, the Truthear Nova and Simgot EM6L. Borrow or buy-try-return. After sampling various tunings, you might be surprised by what you like and don’t like. (Whatever you do, stay away from KZ or CCA - same company. They’re a terrible company with shady practices.)

r/iems • Best IEM for under 30$ and 25$ ->Short answer: That’s up to you and your ears. Long answer: The IEM world has so much variety and your enjoyment would depend greatly on personal preference. What’s great for one person could be trash for someone else. In my opinion, the best way to approach this hobby is to sample numerous sets of various tunings. Try not to blind buy one set, using most or all of your budget, based only on recommendations. r/iems • Help] Looking for the Best IEMs for Gaming Under $50 ->I hate to say it, but you’re a victim of the blind buy. It’s common in IEM circles. We all have different ears, so our preferences are unique. It looks like you are treble sensitive. The EW200 is bad for people who are averse to higher frequencies. If you can return the IEMs, do so. You’ll want to look for a darker or at least more balanced sound signature. Try the Kiwi Ears Cadenza or the Moondrop Chu 2, maybe even the QKZ HBB. If you can’t replace the IEM, maybe you can add a filter? Look up tutorials for that. The quickest and easiest thing to try is using foam eartips. They help tame upper frequencies. Also, make sure you have a good seal. If you haven’t explored EQing, you can look into that as well. Good luck.
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->i already have it gentleman....cold af
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->already had it...sounds metallic af
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->thats like comparing 2 to 1 in the sea of 10s ( talking about their bass ofc)
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->Get Simgot EW200 if you are not sensitive to treble. Overall a great pair for the money for clarity and soundstage, and it’s build to last.
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->Simgot EW200. They're shouty, screechy and headache inducing with no bass whatsoever. I returned them.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->Okay I gotchu. I'd suggest something like: Treble: Simgot EW200 Vocals: Tangzu Wan'er Balanced: Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red, Moondrop Chu 2 (DSP ver is just slightly better than analog that it's a bit clean? Idk. Gizaudio said that). Idk category: Artti T10 and Artri R2 (idk which type they are as I didn't check on them but it's good according to Jaysaudio). You can check them and dive deeper if you'd like to. For me, I'd prefer EW200 over the Tangzu Wan'er as it's better as it should be considering Tangzu is just $29 and EW200 is $50; Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red over the Moondrop Chu 2 (Chu 2 in fact is similar to Zero 2 but maybe a few subtle differences and again the Chu 2 is $20-25 and Zero:Red is $55). I can't prefer only one between the Zero:Red and the EW200 because they have different plus points and compliments each other. Zero:Red is balanced and EW200 has better bass texture and treble foward. You can always do your research and ask others which are the best between the ones I've listed and they'll give you better sense of what the tuning is like and how they compare in terms of tecnicak performances.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best IEMs in 2024 for Under $50? ->CHU 2 has plenty of bass and thump when the music calls for it. It is not a bass tuned IEM where it’s always there, stepping on everything. It’s got some thump and bump to satisfy the “fun” tuning. Gate is more “analytical” compared to the CHU 2. They are NOT however a night and day difference. If you got both of course you can tell the difference doing a side by side comparison. Just don’t expect two VERY different tunings. Gate can thump some quality bass when the music calls for it. It’s not rumbley bass but it’s got some solid quality bass. I’d say an more “analytical” set would be the ew200 over the Gate.
r/iems • moondrop chu 2 bassy enough? ->As someone who used to think anything with “gaming,” in the title was best for gaming; switching from a gaming headset to IEM’s has been the best for gaming. I also followed this list and ended up getting Fresh Reviews Arete’s. I’ve tried the $40 Simgot ew200 and even they are better for gaming than my Razer Blackshark V2. I say that if you’re willing to spend X amount of dollars on a gaming headset, look for IEM’s instead. Great budget options out there.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->I feel like the ew200’s are tip dependent. The mids and highs can be harsh with the stock tips, however for a single dynamic driver, the sound is quite impressive. I have the kbear 07 tips on them right now. Some of my favorite tips are the Spinfit W1’s, Tangzu Sancai, and Dunu S&S, along with the kbear 07’s.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->I’m looking to find my hopefully “endgame,” IEM, but I’m experiencing a lot of mixed reviews across many sources. Every time I think I’ve made a decision, I see something that makes me double guess myself. I’m pretty sold on the Mangird Tea Pros, but am also intrigued by the Hype 4’s and Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch. Even something like the AFUL P7’s. I do love bass and my ears can be treble sensitive, as I listen to a lot of EDM and Hip hop, but I listen to pretty much everything. My main use is for competitive gaming and general gaming, and I’m currently using the Ziigaat Arete’s, but want that definitive “endgame,” if there is such a thing. My current collection contains the Arete’s, Apevoix Grit, and EW200’s. Any advice between the Tea Pro’s, Hype 4, Punch, and AFUL’s would be super helpful. TL;DR - looking for endgame IEM’s, between Tea Pro, Hype 4, and P7’s, mainly for gaming but also music.
r/iems • “Endgame” IEM ->Yeah I took a peak at the rankings when I started looking for IEM’s more seriously after I bought the EW200’s as my first pair. The Tea Pro’s have consistently been appearing as some of the best IEM’s for the price tag, but like I said in a previous reply, I wanted to be certain before making that final decision. I think the Tea Pro’s are the right IEM to hopefully be my last IEM for a while until I see something else that catches my eye. Thank you for your reply!
r/iems • “Endgame” IEM ->i have the e200 and it does great for cs go, havent tried raibow six but should be good for that too
r/iems • Good IEM for FPS gaming? ->I have the supermix 4s and these are insane for gaming, especially fps like cs, but a tiny too big for me and dont sit well on my ears so I have to move them around plenty of times, but while I had the EW200 I found them to be my most comfortable iems in my collections and since the EW300 are the exact same without the brightness I disliked about the 200's, the ew300 is a very decent purchase, so I'd say depending on your ears, if you have small go for the ew300, if not supermix 4s
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->I had a very similar experience to you, and Simgot EW200 was also my first IEM! It sounds like you might be a)treble sensitive or b)very used to general consumer audio tuning, or a combination of both. The EW200 has a bright V-shaped tuning, which means it has increased bass and treble with more emphasis on the treble. On top of that, it is Harman tuned which means there is an aggressive rise in the pinna gain region of the upper mids(around 2k to 4k Hz). I feel like a lot of audiophile reviewers tend to prefer bright tunings, since increased treble leads to increased general perception of details. The problem is that everyone has different perception and sensitivities to sound. And just like how a very bright light is harsh to look at, bright sound signatures can get really fatiguing. The EW200 driver is quite good and responds well to EQ though, so even though the tuning is not for everyone I feel that it's a waste to just give up on them. If you use EQ, you want to give a 2db+ reduction in the 2k to 4k Hz area to tone down the brightness. On top of that, the brightness can be masked by increasing the bass, so give a 2db+ bass shelf increase(below 150 Hz). If that doesn't work, you can also try putting on a mesh filter. Measure the inner diameter of the nozzle, and look on Aliexpress/Amazon for mesh filters that match the diamter. [Simgot sells a DIY kit with mesh filters](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806070697350.html), and it's what I use on my own unit. The 300 mesh is the one that worked best for me. I know the link says the kit is for use with the EA1000 and EA500, but it works on the EW200 too. I felt the EW200 was unlistenable out of the box, but the 300 mesh made them way better and listenable. I still wouldn't use the EW200(and IEMs in general) for playing FPS games, though. The issue with fps is that you need to turn up the volume to hear footsteps, which means gunshots will then blast your ears. Sticking with headphones/speakers for fps games would be the best choice It sounds like you might have a preference for a combination of warm and dark tuning. So if you do feel like getting new IEMs, the cheapest one that fits this category would be the original QKZ x HBB, at less than $20. At a higher price bracket, the Kefine Delci would also fit this category. I think both of these IEMs are on sale right now too
r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->Second this. I don't think I've ever noped out quicker! Immediately have them to a mate of mine who primarily listens to classical so he is very happy with them.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->Depends what direction you want to go with the sound, nowadays there's a lot of good options My two picks would be: Simgot ew200 if you want a brighter sound with very good technical performance, forward vocals, midbass focused. Sound signature is pretty forward and aggressive so it might not be the best if youre used to listening at high volumes, but it can be pretty satisfying for basically almost any genre Kefine delci/klean if you want a smoother, sub-bass heavy and warm sound, very good Soundstage width, smooth but detailed treble. It sounds significantly more relaxed than the ew200, with a bit of a tradeoff on vocals, which sound less forward and satisfying, but for chill music or instrumentals these are very pleasing and relaxing. The klean as far as I understand is a cheaper version of the delci with the same sound quality and interchangeable nozzles, but honestly if you find a good deal the delci is probably still a good pick, just the klean might be slightly cheaper
r/inearfidelity • need suggestion on iem under 60$(5k inr) ->Neither, buy Simgot EW200s on Amazon for $31.99 right now.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->I disagree. I appreciate the clarity, detail and energy.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->Simgot EW200🥰💪🏻
r/iems • Letsheour DZ4 or Kefine Klean or Simgot EW200 ->Moondrop Kato since 2022. I still use them today since it was my only pair up until last week when I bought the EW200 to use for working out
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->I'd pair a Simgot EW200 or 7hz Salnotes Zero with a USB C to 3.5 dongle dac (Apple's is good and $9), and that will give good sound for a mobile setup. The dac gives better sound, and you can also use different cables or iems if you get more.
r/iems • Cheap USB C iems? ->EW200 are probably the best technical and bright iem under $50 for sure.
r/iems • Are there any better IEMs than simgot EW200 under 50$ in terms of resolution, clarity and detailing with punchy and textured bass. ->Ew200 doesn't suffer from the condensation problem You can alo check out the 7hz sonus which usually goes on discount for around $40 on aliexpress
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->I can recommend Artti T10. It's clearly better than EW200 (which I also own)
r/iems • Recommendations for IEMs under $60? ->EW200 are much brighter and less detailed, T10 are also pretty bright, but they are not so fatiguing.
r/iems • Recommendations for IEMs under $60? ->No mostly less expensive than this, this was my splurge. I’ve had the Explorer (still love these), the Nova, Supermix 4, Performer 5, S12 Pro, T10, IE200, Hexa, EA500 LM, and a host of the popular budgets, like the Cadenza, Wan’er, Zero 2 (still use these with a Bluetooth adapter), and EW200. Before switching tips I was about to return them and just stop at the Explorer.
r/iems • Aful Performer 5+2 - My thoughts ->i would personally vouch for the ew200, great value and the driver takes eq like a champ. Symphonic metal they would be best in class , they do very well in rock, im just afraid they will reveal bad recordings in metal.
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->the treble of the ew200 is perfectly fine. im not a treble guy myself, its really well done. youll be amzed at how much detail the iwm pumps outs for its price. Imo best iem under 50 usd. just to give a backstory i come from much higher priced iems. this little ew200 impressed me.
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->Long story short, im currently 2 months in hospital without the possibility of getting my gear at home. Did my homework and got something cheap . Honestly one of my best buys lately this thing is amazing to game and musicalities on it are second to none , i believe they used the same driver from the ea500(have that one also) and slapped some proper bass and tuned the metallic timbre out of it. Thing shines and takes eq very well too.
r/iems • Confused between these iem's ->for gaming specifically i would put the ew200 a small step above. damn its cheap capable driver
r/inearfidelity • Need advice for IEMs in gaming ->This is not recessed 2 pin connector like Simgot ew200, chu 2, lan. Its a normal 2 pin not recessed connector. Over time it can loose. To me Simgot ew200 has the best build quality of recessed connector. Its super tight
r/iems • Kefine Klean Review ->These were my second, "luxury" pair after my "test" pair of Salnote Zeros (OG). I don't dare take them out of my apartment. I lost my Salnotes and bought some Simgot ew200's for outside music, I can still hear the difference. Both are great but S12 pro are so detailed and bright.
r/inearfidelity • What... in the world (My first IEM, purchased primarily for metal music) ->Build quality alone makes it worth the 10 USD. Zero can have drivers go imbalanced or the faceplate loses its adhesion. Get SN if you have minimum budget or a trial to see what you like. I would also rec an aftermarket Nicehck cable or Xinhs cable, not a fan of EW200's.
r/inearfidelity • What... in the world (My first IEM, purchased primarily for metal music) ->Would you say the size is smaller or bigger than the em6l. I recently purchased the em6l but have to return it because the wire/cable on the ear loop is irritating my ear. For reference I also have the ew200 but those are fine for my ears I also found the em6ls to be more muted/ lower sounding than the ew200 (maybe mine was defective?) Did you find the supermjx 4 to be louder/brighter?
r/headphones • Simgot Supermix 4! Ask Me Anything + Review ->Another good one is the Simgot EW200. Solid IEM at its price range. I know Simgot just released the EW300 which uses 3 drivers. Not sure of the sound but it can be had for under 65 USD when on sale. right now it's on sale on Amazon but could go on better sale on AliExpress on 11.11
r/iems • What's the best IEM for first time user like me? ->Are you able to get the EW200? That was my first IEM and I absolutely love that one. Also, don't forget about EQ for your IEMs. Some need it to really shine.
r/iems • Which iem's are the best out of these as beginner? ->DAMN, just when I bought the EW200 I've been enjoying more than the loaned Zero Red... Oh well, looks like I'll be buying a dedicated home IEM and have the EW200 go with me everywhere outside of my room. 😂
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->I have 3 options: 1) Tripowin Vivace (around $30 - a reviewer I trust (fresh reviews) basically non-stop praised this pair for FPS games, in fact he has this thing called a "wallhack-certified list" which all my 3 options are there btw and this is the highest one. unfortunately the accessories with it are shit but it's $30) 2) Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue/Red (around $50, red is slightly more expensive. blue has more bass, red is more balanced but comes with an impedance adapter to boost the bass. many pro players use this pair, notably most of the g2 roster. the issue with this pair is that the nozzle size is quite bulky and so is the shell, so if you have small earholes, it might be slightly bulky 3) Simgot EW200 ($40, my current pair, love this piece of shit, made of metal and feels like a tank yet also light, sound is slightly more towards treble but I bought a pair of eartips which kinda makes it more on the bassy side and tames down the treble. also being a guy with small ass ears, this pair is extremely comfortable) tldr: #1 is from what I heard the best, but #2 & 3 are really good as well, #2 is being used the most in pro play, in fact I've never seen #1 and 3 used as of rn
r/SiegeAcademy • Headphones vs Earbuds ->
