"Holy shit it’s not just me. My left EW200 does the same thing. ... Does the left sound drastically quieter sometimes? Mine does, then I’ll readjust/let it sit for a bit and try again and it’s fine. ... Yeah lol I do the same too. I’ll come back to them my next gaming session/when I want to listen to music again and they’re fine. Well, at least I’m not crazy! I don’t own any others right now and I’m broke lol. I love them, but I can’t wait to have a reliable IEM again."
"I'm not 100% sure it's driver flex. It clicks when going inside my ear and I have to adjust it to get equal sound from both iems. No problem with the right ear. ... Mhmm it happens after about 30 minutes or so. Some readjusting does help sometimes, but I usually don't have the patience to fiddle and just switch sets."

"you might have heard people say "go for the ew200 for gaming" but thats complete bullshit. ... i play val myself and i can gladly tell you that the soundstage and 3D imaging on the kleans is far superior to the ew200. ... the directional audio, figuring out the exact location of the enemy using the kleans is much easier to do with these iems."
"Don't get the ew200, those are awful for hearing steps"
Can you try open ear earbuds like the yincrow calf? I really liked those despite being open and not in ear. Only issue was them not staying in the ear and I had to buy ear hooks (like these https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0Ppoh9) Soundstage was decent and they can actually be loud and powerful Edit: my end game ended up open earbuds due to earwax accumulating when using inear for too long I used the ew200, tanchjim zero and artti R1. Tanchjim zero had good soundstage for the price and was neutral. Ew200 was too shouty for games like genshin or star rail (have a lot of high pitched effects), artti r1 is bassy but not overbloated.
r/iems • Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->Simgot ew200 Tbh I havent had the chance to listen to all of them but looking at frequency responses and all this would be my choice for sure. But you have to consider that it is on the bright leaning side. I will explain the ew200 as well as I can to make things easier for you. # Why I enjoy the ew200 * Ew200 definitely has the best build quality among these, it has a metal shell and a very good cable. * The bass is punchy and fast not rumbly which I think would take out that heavyness you mention about. * The mids are not the main focus on the ew200 but it is just slightly recessed , overall it sounds good and the female vocals are not shouty , at least to me. * The treble on the ew200s is the best part of this iem for me. In this iem I hear something that I didnt heard before, the bite of the treble (like the punchyness of the bass). Of course different people different tastes but the treble on the ew200s just feels so good, on certain tracks this could backlash with sounding a bit bright but overall I enjoyed it like 90\~%95 of the times. * **And lastly if you are going to choose among these the ew200 would be the most unique one than the sets you own.** The other ones follow the harman target like the truthear blue 2s so if you are happy with them I dont see the reason to sidegrade. The ew200 looks like the harman target on the graph but it is more on the bright side and has less bass (at least rumbly bass) than these. And a few things I would reccomend you to check on reccomendations and reviews I think in this hobby people have so many different tastes than "normal people" .Like when somebody says the treble is too sharp or the bass is almost non existant or on the flat side that comes from the fact that they experienced much much more bassy sets etc. I've experienced this with Truthear x crin Zero Reds, almost all of the people said that it is a neutral set with slight sub bass emphasis but I highly disagreed with them the bass boost was very noticeable and the treble was almost non existent( bassy set in short) In certain songs it felt like I was listening underwater and cymbals were literally nonexistent. So try to compare the thoughts of one single reviewer with different iems that you own, that would give you a better position to compare and understand their opinions. So personal preferances could effect which iem you would want to go with , I would reccomend you to try these either from a friend or store or if you have a good return policy just get them and return if you dont like them. I would answer any questions if you have any , I hope this helped.
r/iems • Best Budget Iems Poll ->I can not stand the Harman tuning even though this tuning is very popular with many people. My tuning preference is very similar to the HBB tuning. I prefer the HBB tuning's 8 dB rise for the simulated pinna gain in the upper midrange since the Harman tuning's 10 to 11 dB rise for the simulated pinna gain in the upper midrange is too sibilant for me. I also don't like how the Harman tuning decreases the lower midrange. Right now my two favorite IEMs under $300 are the Aful Performer 7 and the Dunu DaVinci. The Performer 7 simply is an improved version of the Performer 5 across the board. I still love my Performer 5 IEMs. At first I didn't like the DaVinci's powerful sub bass relative to the mid bass, but I found some eartips which fixed this issue such that the sub bass is in balance with the mid bass. I have some other favorite IEMs at lower price points. I was very surprised by how much I like the Kima 2 which Dunu sent to me. I knew that the Kima 2 uses single dynamic drivers, yet when I listened to the Kima 2 I could have sworn that there must also be BA drivers in the mix since the macro and micro details are very well defined. For example, the Kima 2 performs much better than the Thieaudio Legacy 2. It also dawned on me that the Kima 2 is tuned very similarly to the original Moondrop Starfield which was my first IEM, yet the Kima 2's technical performance is so much nicer to listen to in comparison to the OG Starfield. There always a very slight veil to the sound when I listened to the OG Starfield, and the Kima 2 totally rips any veil away. On the budget side, I really like the Simgot EW200 after I easily added some self adhesive mesh filters to shift the overall tuning from Harman to HBB. The transition after adding the mesh filters was splendid. The thing is that after adding the mesh filters to adjust the tuning, I was able to really appreciate the quality of the EW200's dynamic drivers. I hope that the above helps you with your research.
r/iems • What are you favourite IEMs Under $300? ->I get what you are saying about the overall sound not sounding coherent. I get what you are saying about the piezo driver timbre. I understand why the piezo driver sound is noticeable to you since reviewers have mentioned this. Some reviewers have noted the the EW300 bass is sluggish and lacks layering. This is a thing which I have noted on some Simgot IEMs such as the EM6L yet not on other Simgot IEMs such as the EW200. Is this perhaps what you mean when you say that the bass sounds bloated and not so much the strength but instead the cleanliness of the bass? I ask since the Chu II and the EW300 have nearly identical sound signatures from sub bass all the way up to the upper midrange. Please check out these frequency response graphs: [https://vortexreviews.squig.link/?share=Bad\_Guy\_Target,Moondrop\_Chu\_2,Simgot\_EW300\_Silver,Kefine\_Klean\_Silver\_Nozzle](https://vortexreviews.squig.link/?share=Bad_Guy_Target,Moondrop_Chu_2,Simgot_EW300_Silver,Kefine_Klean_Silver_Nozzle) The driver incoherence can be solved by using a really nice single DD IEM. Lately I have been really pleased with the technical performance of the Kefine Klean since the clarity of the macro details is very nice. More surprising is the clarity in the micro details which is very impressive for 50 dollar price tag. In other words, I did enjoy the moment when I started listening to the Klean. The Klean's bass is not bloated as in being muddy. I find the Klean's bass to be surprisingly clean with similar texture and detail as the bass on the EW200.
r/iems • EW300 just unbearable, need help! ->if you want cheap bassy ones just get KZ Castors ..nothing can beat them at this price in bass..if you want more technicalities and gaming wise get simgot ew200 or ew300 ..
r/iems • I'm new to IEM how'd I do? ->I use primarily budget IEMs. My on-the-go pair is usually my Chu 2s or Nuos. I do also occasionally use the LANs. At home I use the Kefine Kleans. The other sets I have include the Hexa, Delci, and EW200, and the THifi C2s. The Kleans provide me with clean and accurate male vocals while still sounding natural which is really what I'm looking for in an IEM.
r/iems • Best budget "wireless" IEMs? ->i have the ew 200 how do they compare to one another im curious to know
r/iems • Best possible iem in the range of 60-80$. Considering the EW300 & Tangzu XuanNv ->i have the ew 200 and they're very good for vocals i dont think its bad at all so id guess the ew300 are good too
r/iems • Best possible iem in the range of 60-80$. Considering the EW300 & Tangzu XuanNv ->Gate was my first iem and there was zero bass like none for me, didn't liked sound, but still good iem if you looking for detail, soundwize still not as good as 7hz 2 and tangzu I would say, than I jumped to EW200 and It opend a lot, I can feel bass well, vocals sound way better, great for gaming and feels premium cause metal shell overall really good set, but there is one con on ew200 and that's the treble as lot of people complain, on some musics can't listen on more than 50,60 volume it hits way to lound and bright, I still need to get used to sound.
r/iems • That escalated quick / Need you suggestion! ->Are they heavy or light? As in the actual IEM shell itself. Weight is my biggest issue with metal iems, like the Simgot EW200 is really small but it's heavy compared to plastic or resin iems and so comfort suffers when using for a while.
r/iems • Help me choose small but good IEMs under $100-120 ->EW200 - stupidly shrilly - eardrum buster
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->simgot ew200 the clarity, cleanliness and sound resolution on another level compared to any other 40-50 iem on the market
r/iems • What are some of the most value for money IEM's? ->Absolutely. Got the EW200, EW300 from those lists 😂
r/iems • I was wondering if anybody bought an Iem by checking out the "Top 5 IEMs in every price range chosen by you!" // Criticism ->It's not 100% flat neutral (but nothing is in that price range), more U-shaped, but the Tin C2 is very good. It gets closer to neutral with Spinfit CP-100+ tips since those roll off the extra upper treble that they have, leaving it as pretty neutral with a slight bass boost. But they have very clean, well extended treble that IMO puts them quite ahead of the 7Hz Zero or Zero 2 for technical performance. Similar to the Simgot EW200 but that's a lot more v-shaped. Also the C2 has the best build quality out of any of those. The older one (which is now around $20) is closer to neutral than the 2025 version, which has a bit more sub-bass and sounds slightly more v-shaped. Both are very similar though. You probably wouldn't know there was a difference if you listened to them a day apart rather than A/B them side-by-side. If you want more of a bright-neutral with flatter bass, the Moondrop LAN is pretty good (around $40).
r/iems • What neutral sounding iems have the best technicality, especially sound stage at or under 50$? ->The EW200 has a lot of treble energy but also a lot of bass (although this is very dependent on getting a good seal with the eartips), so it's more of a v-shape than a bright set per se. It's a slightly more aggressive v than the Chu 2, but still the same general tuning concept. Probably the best bright-neutral set is the Moondrop LAN. There isn't really anything better than the LAN with that style of tuning until you get up to the level of the Blessing 3, which is quite a big jump. If you want to spend a bit less, the 7Hz Zero is also bright-neutral, but it doesn't sound as smooth & refined as the LAN. If you want something that has tons of treble energy and resolving ability, while also being a mild v-shape so there's a bit more kick to drums etc. (but very much a bright IEM) then consider the Simgot EA500. The original silver version, not the LM or the new black one. This one comes with a health warning though, because it is *very* bright and potentially quite fatiguing. Definitely one to avoid if you're at all treble-sensitive. This is an incredible IEM in short bursts, but I can't listen to mine for more than an hour or so at a time. It sometimes goes on sale for as low as $50 since the LM got released. It's by far the most technical IEM at that price other than maybe the Artti T10.
r/iems • What is a good budget IEM with bright tuning? ->Haven't tried the SM4 but photos of it show a full-resin build, without the metal cover on the nozzle like the EM6L. The EM6L has a completely different build from all the other Simgots. At least the modern ones, from the EA500 onwards. It's also the only one with a QDC connector instead of normal 2-pin. I guess they used a different factory at that time and have since moved on. The EA-series are build like tanks. The EW200 isn't quite to the same level, but it's still pretty decent especially at its price-point. I think the EW300 also uses the same screw-in nozzles as the EA500/EA1000 series. Not sure about the EA2000 but that's another older one, not an upgraded EA1000. Also note that while it's not ideal that the nozzle cover falls off the EM6L, it is *just* a cover that holds the filter in place. It's a common misconception that the whole nozzle falls off, but that's not the case. That's why it can just be glued back in place easily. You can see it in OP's photo. The problem is finding a strong enough glue that won't come unstuck again too quickly, without risking accidentally getting some in the nozzle or making some other mistake that then can't be undone. Epoxy resin is probably the best, but you'd need to be super careful with it. Plus re-gluing a part just isn't something anyone should be expected to do ever, in an ideal world.
r/headphones • Another Simgot EM6L with the nozzle fallen off ->New ew200 or 500lm used. If i knew better i should have waited to get 500lm but at least i have both simgot ew200 & 500lm
r/iems • What’s the Best IEM Under $40 for You? ->Ever since I bought EW200 I stopped there and never looked back to this hobby (even though I didnt like EW200 at first and it was a downgrade), its almost been a year and a half since I bought an IEM.
r/iems • I quit ->In my experience, there is a significantly earlier loss in ROI for gaming than music. Going from my EW200 to SM4, the difference gaming across many shooters was negligible with just slight tuning differences. The increase in detail was only noticeable in music between the two iem’s.
r/iems • Best IEM for CoD/FPS ->Try CMF Buds 2 Pro. I gotta be honest. I just spent $120 USD on a pair of Nothing Ear 2 and my $40 Simgot EW200 sound better. I'm thinking about returning the TWS earbuds. I wanted something that sound as good as my IEMs but with the convenience of wireless... But it's not even close. Much more detail with the $40 IEMs.
r/iems • Best budget "wireless" IEMs? ->yes i did, and I can confidently say that for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, these iems are THE BEST under this price bracket. I say that with so much confidence because before buying these, i got the simgot ew200 which I returned. you might have heard people say "go for the ew200 for gaming" but thats complete bullshit. i play val myself and i can gladly tell you that the soundstage and 3D imaging on the kleans is far superior to the ew200. the directional audio, figuring out the exact location of the enemy using the kleans is much easier to do with these iems. i also recommend you pair it with an audiocular d07 dac and amp like i did to get the best out of your iems.
r/iems • Kefine Klean Review ->I bought and returned 'em. Gunshots in val completely burst my eardrums. Bought the kefine klean after that, which I would recommend because they are far better than the ew200 in every way. Best under the price bracket, and not just me who says this. Soundstage and 3D imaging is far better than the ew200 as well.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->SIMGOT EW200 could be a good match. Not exactly white, but clean looking for sure. Praised for their clarity and technicalities (soundstage & imaging) which should make them work well for gaming.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->Saw you already considered them along with the TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace. The EW200 are nearly universally considered very good in technicalities (for the price). The Vivace on the other hand often have their technicalities listed as one of their clear weak points. Although considering their slight price difference, it's a fair trade-off: Vivace \~$25-$30 vs EW200 \~ $40-$46 Up to you whether you want to save a bit of money for slightly less technical capabilities or not.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->I don't have very expensive headsets, so it's a bit hard to compare. But I have Hifiman Ananda too, and used them as a reference for "a more expensive headset that sounds quite good". From some quick tests, I think that S08 / T10 / EA500LM are all very good value for the money, they can keep up very decently, handle "busy" tracks, have details and clarity (I'm no super expert, again). I checked what you consider your best iem, it's very cheap. I guess it's still good but I think you will get an improvement from a 50-100$ device. Is it going to be night and day? I'm not sure. But I'm very happy with both the T10 and EA500LM (I find the S08 a bit "boring", it's less lively than the other two, personal opinion of course, but it's more relaxing at the same time). I have Simgot EW200 and listened to Chu II too (in your current price range), I find them very ok for the price, but I still prefer my duo. I wouldn't go back to cheaper. I EQ my IEMs also, it helps to "tame" their lacks also and adapt to your taste. I still find all three fine without EQ. Ear tips can be an issue / solution also, I changed some with significant difference, especially on bass. Cheap way to improve some IEMs ! Size can matter also, I have SuperMix 4 also, they can handle busy tracks very fine, but they are big and it's an issue for my ears. I'm not sure if they sound that much better than the EA500LM to me, even if the latter is a single DD. They are smaller, they look better to me, good fit, and I love how they sound. Not neutral though, I guess. But they make me wonder if I will ever want much more expensive IEMs. Worth trying this kind of budget for you before investing in x00$ devices I think !
r/iems • Recommendation of inexpensive IEM good for classical music/opera/instruments? ->I started down the IEM rabbit hole with ew200’s, about eight months later bought the artti t10s… then finally really splurged with the AFUL Performer 5+2… then upgraded my dac from the Fiio KA11 to the ifi Go Link Max. At least for me every step along this road has been met with improvements in sound tonality sound stage imaging etc. is it worth it? There’s definitely going to be diminishing returns and I think I’ve hit that point where any further improvements are not worth the cost. I’m pretty satisfied and will likely stick with these unless something breaks, but I definitely noticed significant differences as I’ve moved up the “chain”.
r/iems • I quit ->Thank you for your service, you write a good guide for the community! I have Simgot EW200 and am considering getting a good upgrade for it. I'm considering the TRN White Tiger because I been hearing good words toward it from reviewers, some prefer it than EW300, and it is packed with good accessories. My question is, is it a good upgrade in terms of tech than the EW200? I listen to Pop, RnB, Metalcore, Rap, some acoustics, and daily sessions of story games with a good atmospheric soundtrack, will it suit me? One says the treble is somewhat far, is it far? I like EW200 treble but it is too energetic for my long sessions. Oh yeah and, PRX, does my 7hz 71 dac with 70mw can drive it?
r/iems • !THE SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST! ->Thanks. Back then I own CCA CRA+ which is V-Shape, I enjoy that sets so much, it keeps the dance going. EW200 gives me a "wow" moment with its detail, but I feel lacking the "fun" moment, that's why i tend to consider some bassy iem, which leads me to TRN White Tiger.
r/iems • !THE SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST! ->I have the EW200, and while i like how danymic and strong it sounds, the brightness hurts my ear after about 1 hour. Would I run into the same problem with the S12 (pro)?
r/inearfidelity • Recommendation for $150 IEM... Owners of Supermix4, MP145, S12 Pro, Nicehack F1 Pro: drop your 2 cents please. ->simgot iems are all variations of bright tunings, with each upgrade offering better soundstage, technicalities & detail retrieval. so ew200
Ew300 is a fantastic iem! I prefer the sound signature of it than the elder brother sm4 Ew200 is still my favourite bright sounding iem. Simgot did a great job with these two iems.
r/iems • Truthear Blue 2s are here ->Hi! Are these earphones as bright as simgot ew-200. My ears ached when i listened to songs on the simgot. Brightness is not suited for me.
r/iems • Tangzu YuXuanJi Review ->I had EW200 which i returned. Now i have TANGZU Yu Xuan Ji , even that was not comfortable, like lightly piercing is what i will call it but that got OK with spinfit cp145 eartips. I was laying with EQ and decided to up the 4-6kHz freq. and thats how i got this response from my ears.
r/iems • EW300 or Supermix 4 ->There's a lot of more than nice options mate: -Kefine Klean (but there's reports of channel imbalance and issues with the nozzles, my unit is kicking ass fine) -Inawaken Dawn ms, a little less technical than Klean but more musical (waiting it to arrive soon) -Sgor Luna one of the best planar iems for less than 50 bucks (loving it mine) -KZ PRX the best planar by the brand, trades blows with the Luna (waiting it to arrive soon) -KZ Vader Balanced/CCA Trio oh yes, so fun, musical and technical (loving my Vader Bal and HighRes) -Artti T10 the best planar for 50ish bucks -7hz x HBB Elua oh yes , a better and more technical and fun driven iem than legato, basshead approved (loving my unit, is a well received iem in head-fi) -Simgot EW200, dude, that iem doesn't need presentation 😅 -TRN White Tiger, impressive good tuned, interesting config, I'm not so much into the shell looking but is made of metal and well builded, is what matters to me
r/iems • What are the best IEM's under 50 dollars? ->Got my first pair of IEMs (truthear x crin zero red) a few years ago and typically favoured TWS until I got my FiiO BTR13 this year which is when I jumped into the audiophile rabbit hole. Instead of carefully considering my next pair of IEMS using graphs and reviews, I impulsively bought a few sets to see what kind of tuning I enjoyed the most. I found the Tangzu wan’er 2 quite pleasant and wanted to upgrade from there. I went to audiofest Toronto 2025 and found the ZIIGAAT odysseys which felt like a steep price but I’m obsessed with the sound. Ended up buying the FiiO FT1 while I was there and I love them. I plan on selling the zero reds as I’m not a fan of the bass signature and I bought the simgot EW200s and I’ve been loving them very much. As of now my current daily’s are my EW200 with my snowsky echo mini or the BTR13, my FiiO ft1 and a pair of grado SR60e for desktop open backs. Where do I go from here?
r/iems • Where do I go from here? ->They’re drastically differently tuned IEMs. The singly EW200 focus more on clear vocals and detailed highs with light punchy bass and a mid bass rumble while the reds are v shaped with bumpy mids that I find muddying and very bright highs and recessed mids. I don’t like the reds after listening to more IEMS but I liked them at the start. It really boils down to your taste.
r/iems • Where do I go from here? ->I prefer treble, so the ew200 but I’m slowly finding them to be lacking in bass and mids, but I prefer it to the deep rumble of the zero red.
r/iems • Where do I go from here? ->I’m actually not a fan of the zero red! I didn’t mention it but after I got into the wan’er I stopped liking them altogether. I think after my ew200 start to be not enough I’ll look at the supermix 4, 7HZ timeless 2, odyssey and the s12. Thank you!
r/iems • Where do I go from here? ->Zero2 was my 1st budget iem, also simgot ew200 is great vaule.
r/DigitalAudioPlayer • Budget IEMs for Hiby R1 ->i actually had the same issue with simgot ew200's, stupid loud bass until I got a DAC dongle and everything was fixed, so I'm certain it'll work out for you
r/iems • IEM for gaming ->(probably not professional work) I used to use Simgot EW200 to mix and master music and recording my instruments. but now I only use it to listen to music/focusing now.
r/iems • Anyone here using their IEM’s for Professional work? ->I still really like the EW200, especially with EQ. It's a great set for $30-$40 (I got it for $35). If you like it more bright it's a really good one to have in your collection. Build quality is also quite good but I swapped cables for something a little better that I had already bought a while ago. Also using medium latex H570 ear tips. https://preview.redd.it/hqkhv8c8j3af1.jpeg?width=1229&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c33f51cc5ab5b32ef7a0f48a84599f52c0197ea4
r/iems • What is a good budget IEM with bright tuning? ->Kefine Klean is way better than Zero Red for almost the same price. My favorite up to $10 - KZ x AngelEars Libra X. Up to $20 - Tripowin Ruta10/Tanchjim Bunny. Up to $40 - Simgot EW200. Up to $50 - Kefine Klean.
r/iems • Looking for IEM recommendations to upgrade from KZ EDX Pro ->I have the ew 200 and the cca trio which is supposed to be a direct upgrade to the castor and no the ew 200 is still better,it mainly has to do with the sharper treble and lower bass vs the castor/trio that it doesnt get recommended much. the thing about the trio is its more power hungry vs ew 200 so needs an amp to make it better than the ew 200 as for the castor, the ew 200 is simply better. the detail retrieval of ew 200 is still stellar and for instrumental and classical i still prefer it to the cca trio. only bass heads would tell you the castor is better than the ew 200.

r/headphones • Rank your headphones (2025 edition) ->Love my ew200. Great soundstage for FPS games. Not so great for music though.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->Funnily enough I thought I felt that way. I've had the KZ ZS10 Pro X, Simgot ew200 and ew300 and sold them all because I thought the treble was too much for me. But I've just bought the NiceHCK E2BS Pro (chifi naming makes me want to kill myself) flathead earbuds and I'd say they're even brighter, but I love them. I feel like a lot of people possibly just don't like that brightness in an IEM. I feel like it's uncomfortable having that much 'noise' trapped in your ear. But open-back earbuds fix that with being so well, open
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->I use simgot ew200 and I feel great. Of course, I'm not an audiophile, but from my own I recommend them.
r/iems • Best value IEMs for directional sound in gaming ->|WARM|BALANCED-ish|BRIGHT| |:-|:-|:-| |Tangzu Wan'er SG (neutral warm)|Moondrop Chu 2 (mild v-bright-ish)|7Hz Salnotes Zero (neutral bright)| |Kiwi Ears Cadenza (neutral warm, with a touch of bright)||Simgot EW200 (mild v-bright)| All of them are good at their price point, but basing on your other IEMs, you prefer a mild-v tuning, either abit bright or abit warm. * KZ Castor Harman (Silver) which is a neutral bright to mild v-warm from switches * 7Hz x Crinacle Salnotes Zero 2 which is a mild v-balanced with a warm-ish feel * KZ EDC Pro is a u-balanced with a touch of warmness Kiwi Ears Cadenza has better brightness and air vs Tanzgu Wan'er SG, and personally experienced some minimal lower midrange mud with the original Tangzu Wan'er SG. Tangzu Wan'er SG 2 kinda fixed most of the issues with the original Wan'er SG, but its still a neutral warm IEM. Simgot EW200 has more energetic and brighter sound signature than KZ Castor Silver (Harman), but KZ Castor Silver has better soundstage and image separation vs Simgot EW200. Moondrop Chu 2 is the smallest on all of these, but might lack overall sound experience abit vs both the KZ Castor Silver and 7Hz x Crinacle Salnotes Zero 2. 7Hz Salnotes Zero is more neutral bright, lacks bass impact vs 7Hz x Crinacle Salnotes Zero 2. (fairly similar to KZ Castor Silver at DDUU/DDDU switches) * So if you want a little bit more warmness but retaining some balanced feel, Kiwi Ears Cadenza * If you want more treble energy and abit more analytical, Simgot EW200 * If you want a small IEM, Moondrop Chu 2
r/iems • Best Budget Iems Poll ->https://preview.redd.it/oc5qk49gnqze1.png?width=2400&format=png&auto=webp&s=9aa9538b56e361c6da5d2c43aba4962eff6c12fd SGOR Adonis should be also good for you, though its more v-shaped than the Salnotes Zero 2, with abit more upper midrange energy (which means female vocals and lead sounds will be more pronounced) But male vocals might get thinner abit, but advantage for the Adonis maybe slightly better on soundstage and image separation vs the Salnotes Zero 2, because of its semi-open back design (Like the KZ Castor Silver, at the UDUU switch setting)
r/iems • Best Budget Iems Poll ->I started with kz dfi, had some imbalance issues later on. Now using EW200.
r/Bolehland • Headphone recommendations ->EW200 are brighter and follow the Harman target more or less with some added sparkle up top. The Draco are warmer with thicker lower mids and more midbass than sub-bass, so you get a warmer response and darker upper end. I'd get the EW200 over the Draco because of the Better end-to-end extension and superior technical performance and resolution. If you instead want a darker and warmer set with a bigger soundstage, then the Draco can be an interesting set, given that you'll have to be ok with the average technical performance and resolution.
r/headphones • TRI Draco Review (IEM) ->Best value? Given that I haven't tried the T10 (only the T10 Pro, which are fine), I cannot speak about them but many consider them the pinnacle of budget planars. Here's my (personal) value picks list from 0 to 150$ more or less (will also mention one planar for each bracket): 1. KZ ZVX Pro: it's just impossible to beat these, you can buy them for like 5$ at AliExpress with some coupons or welcome deals and you get all metal build, a well tuned set with decent technicalities for the price and something that, although not breaking the bank, will last long and you won't give a frick you somehow lose them since they cost like a cup of coffee. 2. Under 50: my favourite in terms of signature is the CCA Trio in the UUUU (or 1111) switches config, whereas the EW200 are what I would buy for a bit more resolution. The SGOR Luna and PRX are options as well, but they have some tonal quirks that may not appeal to you. 3. Under 100$: Juzear x Z Reviews Defiant for a versatile, punchy and tight set, Truthear HEXA for resolution, a neutral bright tonality and detail retrieval, Truthear PURE for a neutral/warm set with pretty thick lower end and non-fatiguing treble. Planars? Well, yeah, the F1 Pro for NiceHCK is very solid but it has a tinge of metallic timbre in the treble (other than that, it's SUPER solid). 4. Under 150$: Kefine Quatio for a thick and warm hybrid set with good technical chops, Tanchjim Fission for the best single DD experience and technicalities in this price range, along with an excellent neutral tuning (and some fine tuning thanks to the nozzle filters and bass screw). And then there are also many other sets that are worth a mention, such as the Wan'er S.G. II, the Kefine Klean, the Dunu Titan S2 and Kima 2, the Moondrop May, the AFUL Explorer... So many choices out there nowadays.
r/iems • What are some of the most value for money IEM's? ->Overear style at around RM100: Koss KSC75 It is a clip on over ear style wear, but you can mod it adding the headband with mods join r/kossmods if you want to see how they do it DIY, very active subreddit Koss Porta Pro It has a headband by default if you don't want to mod KSC75, this headphone sounds bass-ier then KSC75 AKG K52 (K72 & K92 is more expensive) Sony brand entry level priced options is bassy muddy no clarity, not good Senheiser brand you need to spend alot more to have comparable level of quality Audio technica, Focal, Audeze, Hifiman Abyss, Grado all way overprice In Ear Monitor style headphones at around RM100: Moondrop Chu 2 (if you can spend more, get Moondrop Lan) Tangzu Wan Er SG (vocal/singer forward tuning) Blon BL03 (if enjoyment is what you want) Simgot EW200 (good "clarity" but very sibilant sound) I bet many people here will recommend KZ, QKZ, or CCA, i see too many reports of QC issue and DOA case to suggest avoid at all cost, very shady handling of stock All of the above are wired headphones, you want real good quality headphones, get wired, wireless cannot compare, because bluetooth cannot do lossless audio playback, even with Qualcomm Aptx HD or Sony LDAC Source: i can qualify as an audiophile, tried many headphones

r/iems • Simgot EW200 sound bad ->vivace would be a lot safer to use since ew200 has a foward treble
r/iems • Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->I'm a decades long audiophile, and my final home stereo/surround system includes an Audio Research all tube amp, Audible Illusions preamp, and Mirage M3 chin high speakers. A high end Lexicon surround processor feeds the side and rear speakers through separate amps. Back in the mid-90's I purchased the Sennheiser HD580 and Beyerdynamic 990, but these were considered just 'accessories' those days. I enjoyed them with the portable devices available at the time, but my main stereo system got the spotlight. In 2020, during covid, I became more interested in headphones. I was struck by the huge community of hobbyists and all of the DACS, amps, and headphones available. So I entered the headphone world and became an enthusiast. Over 4 years and many DAC/amp/headphone combinations I settled on a recent mid-level Topping DAC, an excellent XDuoo hybrid amp, 5 Beyerdynamic headphones (including the DT 1990) as my favorites. And then I added the Arya Organic. At that point I figured the bang to buck ratio precluded the need for any further improvements. You know what happened next-- I kept seeing articles, comments, and videos about IEMs and had to see what all the fuss was about. I bought the KZ Terminator and had problems getting a good seal. I had to work with the over-ear cords to get them right. Had to purchase different tips-- and then it all started working right. I soon got the s12 pro, Simgot EW200, 300, and EA1000. I've now added the Ziigaat x Fresh Arete and Hidizis mp 145 and Aful Explorer to my favorites. So is it all hype? No, IEMs can really sound great. It's more of an intimate, in the head experience than headphones, and the sound is immersive. Are they 'better' than headphones? No. They're different, but not necessarily better. My DT 1990's and Arya Organic's still reign supreme, overall. And my home stereo system is still the best in terms of a more realistic, big-scale sound. The difference between a large speaker home setup, and headphones, and IEMs is all about the scale of the sound. IEMs just can't match the scale of the Organics, and the Organics aren't replicating music in the scale of a speaker system. But the IEM experience is very addictive. I think that part of the attraction, after the immersive quality, is the simple novelty of it all. I'm putting these tiny things into my ears and I'm getting this relatively huge experience And they're so comparatively cheap. Back in my home stereo days a component could cost 2-3K or more. The Organics cost $1300. My EA1000's cost $225, and I think of these as equal to my DT 1990's, although at a smaller scale.
r/iems • Are IEMs Really That Much Better, or Just an Audiophile Flex? ->Ew200 is definitely on the brighter side (ie not neutral)
r/iems • Best Neutral IEM For Every Price Point? ->I suggest against it for gaming. Positional cues are vague. Great for music and movies though.
r/iems • Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->Simgot EW200 is far better than the ones you linked and falls right within the edge of your budget. Unless you are treble sensitive. But even then, Final E tips plus EQ can sort you out. Kefine Klean is the other option, a tad more expensive. Better for music but would still place EW200 better for content and gaming. Third option that's another new launch would be the Epz Q5 Pro. Haven't heard these yet but getting very fine reviews as well. KE Cadenza is another popular set in your budget, smoother than the EW200 but nowhere close in resolution, imaging or soundstage.
r/iems • On a bit of a budget , can anyone hmu with some good iems under 40 USD . My use case is mostly music, videos, and gaming . I found these 4 as being recommended the most (is the 2 and 4 the same?) Please tell me the best among these . I like a bit of bass but I dont want to be overwhelming . ->You can get a better iem and cheaper dac. Avoid KZ, get something like simgot ew200 and for the dongle, the Apple dongle is enough (not sure abo the compatibility though)
r/headphonesindia • IEM suggestion for Samsung phone ->Simgot EW200. They're shouty, screechy and headache inducing with no bass whatsoever. I returned them.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->As someone who used to think anything with “gaming,” in the title was best for gaming; switching from a gaming headset to IEM’s has been the best for gaming. I also followed this list and ended up getting Fresh Reviews Arete’s. I’ve tried the $40 Simgot ew200 and even they are better for gaming than my Razer Blackshark V2. I say that if you’re willing to spend X amount of dollars on a gaming headset, look for IEM’s instead. Great budget options out there.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->I feel like the ew200’s are tip dependent. The mids and highs can be harsh with the stock tips, however for a single dynamic driver, the sound is quite impressive. I have the kbear 07 tips on them right now. Some of my favorite tips are the Spinfit W1’s, Tangzu Sancai, and Dunu S&S, along with the kbear 07’s.
r/iems • Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->I’m looking to find my hopefully “endgame,” IEM, but I’m experiencing a lot of mixed reviews across many sources. Every time I think I’ve made a decision, I see something that makes me double guess myself. I’m pretty sold on the Mangird Tea Pros, but am also intrigued by the Hype 4’s and Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch. Even something like the AFUL P7’s. I do love bass and my ears can be treble sensitive, as I listen to a lot of EDM and Hip hop, but I listen to pretty much everything. My main use is for competitive gaming and general gaming, and I’m currently using the Ziigaat Arete’s, but want that definitive “endgame,” if there is such a thing. My current collection contains the Arete’s, Apevoix Grit, and EW200’s. Any advice between the Tea Pro’s, Hype 4, Punch, and AFUL’s would be super helpful. TL;DR - looking for endgame IEM’s, between Tea Pro, Hype 4, and P7’s, mainly for gaming but also music.
r/iems • “Endgame” IEM ->Yeah I took a peak at the rankings when I started looking for IEM’s more seriously after I bought the EW200’s as my first pair. The Tea Pro’s have consistently been appearing as some of the best IEM’s for the price tag, but like I said in a previous reply, I wanted to be certain before making that final decision. I think the Tea Pro’s are the right IEM to hopefully be my last IEM for a while until I see something else that catches my eye. Thank you for your reply!
r/iems • “Endgame” IEM ->Second this. I don't think I've ever noped out quicker! Immediately have them to a mate of mine who primarily listens to classical so he is very happy with them.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->is there anything remotely close to the ew200 in terms of sound/tuning for around $200 or under? Idk where to move next from the ew200 because I love that brighter sounds than warm
r/iems • On a bit of a budget , can anyone hmu with some good iems under 40 USD . My use case is mostly music, videos, and gaming . I found these 4 as being recommended the most (is the 2 and 4 the same?) Please tell me the best among these . I like a bit of bass but I dont want to be overwhelming . ->Depends what direction you want to go with the sound, nowadays there's a lot of good options My two picks would be: Simgot ew200 if you want a brighter sound with very good technical performance, forward vocals, midbass focused. Sound signature is pretty forward and aggressive so it might not be the best if youre used to listening at high volumes, but it can be pretty satisfying for basically almost any genre Kefine delci/klean if you want a smoother, sub-bass heavy and warm sound, very good Soundstage width, smooth but detailed treble. It sounds significantly more relaxed than the ew200, with a bit of a tradeoff on vocals, which sound less forward and satisfying, but for chill music or instrumentals these are very pleasing and relaxing. The klean as far as I understand is a cheaper version of the delci with the same sound quality and interchangeable nozzles, but honestly if you find a good deal the delci is probably still a good pick, just the klean might be slightly cheaper
r/inearfidelity • need suggestion on iem under 60$(5k inr) ->Try the Moondrop Chu 2. Small fit, quality metal build and balanced V sound. You will get improved sound quality with $40-60 iem’s imo but if you’re looking only for $20-25 range, then these are good start (again!). Esp. if the fit wasn’t right with bigger plastic shells. - Wan’er is vocal forward; 2’s are warm leaning slightly but more vocal forward around the 2k region (personally found these intolerable unless at super low volume). Chunky shells, not suitable for everyone - Cadenza’s - warm with balanced vocals but found treble wasn’t as detailed, felt a bit muddied but lots like these. Shells are small-ish vs Zero/Wan’er, wider usability - EW200 are balanced but treble can be bright for anyone sensitive to those peaks. Quality shells for the price - Zero’s - same fit as your 2’s but 2’s are much better tuned **Side note:** I made a quick step up from the Chu 2 (nothing wrong with them a starter set) to **Inawaken Dawn MS**. **Kefine Klean** was also on my list but the look was similar to the Chu 2 and wanted a different style and were only £36. Both tuning’s are similar but the lower treble peaks vs Klean made it preferable (both sets are probably the best sub $50 around). InAwaken is warm leaning but bright enough without any shoutiness. Mid bass is rich & textured without overpowering, excellent balanced vocals with smooth treble. Works great for varied genres. Despite the shell being bit larger vs Chu 2 the fit has been amazing. The resin build is high quality & so silky to wear all day. They have a shorter nozzle so sit really well with no canal issues. I would honestly consider both the Klean and InAwaken based from you already trying a few budget sets and wanting improved sound quality. The sets you listed are literally sidesteps. **If not wanting to spend more, restart with the Moondrop Chu 2 :)**
r/iems • Best Budget Iems Poll ->Neither, buy Simgot EW200s on Amazon for $31.99 right now.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->I disagree. I appreciate the clarity, detail and energy.
r/iems • Guys which one should I buy ->Simgot EW200🥰💪🏻
r/iems • Letsheour DZ4 or Kefine Klean or Simgot EW200 ->Moondrop Kato since 2022. I still use them today since it was my only pair up until last week when I bought the EW200 to use for working out
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->I'd pair a Simgot EW200 or 7hz Salnotes Zero with a USB C to 3.5 dongle dac (Apple's is good and $9), and that will give good sound for a mobile setup. The dac gives better sound, and you can also use different cables or iems if you get more.
r/iems • Cheap USB C iems? ->ew200 or ew300 mainly for competitive games and everyday use
r/iems • The Best IEM Builds at Each Price (2025 Ultimate Guide) ->I can recommend Artti T10. It's clearly better than EW200 (which I also own)
r/iems • Recommendations for IEMs under $60? ->EW200 are much brighter and less detailed, T10 are also pretty bright, but they are not so fatiguing.
r/iems • Recommendations for IEMs under $60? ->No mostly less expensive than this, this was my splurge. I’ve had the Explorer (still love these), the Nova, Supermix 4, Performer 5, S12 Pro, T10, IE200, Hexa, EA500 LM, and a host of the popular budgets, like the Cadenza, Wan’er, Zero 2 (still use these with a Bluetooth adapter), and EW200. Before switching tips I was about to return them and just stop at the Explorer.
r/iems • Aful Performer 5+2 - My thoughts ->This is not recessed 2 pin connector like Simgot ew200, chu 2, lan. Its a normal 2 pin not recessed connector. Over time it can loose. To me Simgot ew200 has the best build quality of recessed connector. Its super tight
r/iems • Kefine Klean Review ->I have 3 options: 1) Tripowin Vivace (around $30 - a reviewer I trust (fresh reviews) basically non-stop praised this pair for FPS games, in fact he has this thing called a "wallhack-certified list" which all my 3 options are there btw and this is the highest one. unfortunately the accessories with it are shit but it's $30) 2) Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue/Red (around $50, red is slightly more expensive. blue has more bass, red is more balanced but comes with an impedance adapter to boost the bass. many pro players use this pair, notably most of the g2 roster. the issue with this pair is that the nozzle size is quite bulky and so is the shell, so if you have small earholes, it might be slightly bulky 3) Simgot EW200 ($40, my current pair, love this piece of shit, made of metal and feels like a tank yet also light, sound is slightly more towards treble but I bought a pair of eartips which kinda makes it more on the bassy side and tames down the treble. also being a guy with small ass ears, this pair is extremely comfortable) tldr: #1 is from what I heard the best, but #2 & 3 are really good as well, #2 is being used the most in pro play, in fact I've never seen #1 and 3 used as of rn
