I bought dac (fiio k5 pro) for my headphones, it's great for headphones. But didn't feel any difference when paired with iems (simgot e200).
Check out the Simgot E200 as an entry IEM. They punch well above their weight and price tag. Won't be disappointed.
* Simgot EW200 - Hands down
Absolutely. Got the EW200, EW300 from those lists 😂
As the title suggests, and yes I have been conversing with ChatGPT for comparisons on various IEMs. This is what ChatGPT has told me, and I want to believe it, as I already own them, and It would curb my appetite to buy the Top, Tea or 7Hz Divine. My existing IEM lineup: * Punch Audio Martilo * Simgot SuperMix 4 * Simgot EW300 HBB * KBear KB02 * KZ ZSN Pro 2 What chatGPT has stated about gaming. 🎮 Gaming / Spatial Awareness **Top Pro is good, but not the most precise** * Imaging and separation are *very solid* for a hybrid * Not as *positional-pinpoint accurate* as SuperMix 4 or (depending on your tuning) 7Hz Divine **Comparisons** * **SuperMix 4**: Best for competitive FPS * **7Hz Divine**: Cleaner and more balanced cues * **Top Pro**: Great for immersive games and RPGs with music, but not *cue-first* like SM4
I really like them. So I originally got the EW200 as my first IEM and they blew me away, and speaking with folks like yourself online, I came to the conclusion that the EW300 HBB would be a great upgrade on bass, which i felt the EW200 did lack, and boy were they right. Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy, that opening double bass hit, I felt it in my gut. They are now paired with my iPod 5th Gen running rockbox and a custom Openheart 3.5mm cable and are in frequent rotation.
Increase your budget slightly and go with Kiwi ears Cadenza or simgot ew200
Finally a realistic review. I think for how much we paid, these are really excellent, but even at $25-30 you can get IEMs that are straight upgrades to these. IMO EW200 and Klean blow these out of the water (but they are also much more expensive).
Simgot ew200 Tbh I havent had the chance to listen to all of them but looking at frequency responses and all this would be my choice for sure. But you have to consider that it is on the bright leaning side. I will explain the ew200 as well as I can to make things easier for you. # Why I enjoy the ew200 * Ew200 definitely has the best build quality among these, it has a metal shell and a very good cable. * The bass is punchy and fast not rumbly which I think would take out that heavyness you mention about. * The mids are not the main focus on the ew200 but it is just slightly recessed , overall it sounds good and the female vocals are not shouty , at least to me. * The treble on the ew200s is the best part of this iem for me. In this iem I hear something that I didnt heard before, the bite of the treble (like the punchyness of the bass). Of course different people different tastes but the treble on the ew200s just feels so good, on certain tracks this could backlash with sounding a bit bright but overall I enjoyed it like 90\~%95 of the times. * **And lastly if you are going to choose among these the ew200 would be the most unique one than the sets you own.** The other ones follow the harman target like the truthear blue 2s so if you are happy with them I dont see the reason to sidegrade. The ew200 looks like the harman target on the graph but it is more on the bright side and has less bass (at least rumbly bass) than these. And a few things I would reccomend you to check on reccomendations and reviews I think in this hobby people have so many different tastes than "normal people" .Like when somebody says the treble is too sharp or the bass is almost non existant or on the flat side that comes from the fact that they experienced much much more bassy sets etc. I've experienced this with Truthear x crin Zero Reds, almost all of the people said that it is a neutral set with slight sub bass emphasis but I highly disagreed with them the bass boost was very noticeable and the treble was almost non existent( bassy set in short) In certain songs it felt like I was listening underwater and cymbals were literally nonexistent. So try to compare the thoughts of one single reviewer with different iems that you own, that would give you a better position to compare and understand their opinions. So personal preferances could effect which iem you would want to go with , I would reccomend you to try these either from a friend or store or if you have a good return policy just get them and return if you dont like them. I would answer any questions if you have any , I hope this helped.
Simgot ew200 too much treble
Probably the Simgot EW300, I used to love my 200s before they died on me :/
Well, the Chu are small, so maybe they'll fit you well. GK Kunten could be a good option too. They got plenty of good opinions here. Maybe Simgot EW200/EW300 would be ok, but they're more than $30 As far as the DAC goes, what kind of a DAC do you think about? If it's a dongle, I use a FiiO JA11 with my phone and it's great. I only wish it had a 4.4mm jack too. On my PC I use Audioquest Dragonfly Black. It's a dongle too, but it has much much more power, so it can drive even demanding headphones. But I'm afraid you can't buy it anymore, though (at least new one).
