I had the same issue and ended up buying the below ones and really like them. They are made of metal with a wood ear cover and fit super well. Highly recommend. https://a.co/d/06k8VdLi
Well not here tu really ruin your fun but: We’ll start small. Ziigaat tips and cable are some of the worst in the bracket, they use the same low quality cable that you so much think is great on almost all their iems? This cable would be acceptable in the 100-120$ range but for over 200 we can get better elsewhere. To just point it out I do own a 70$ Sivga Que that has all metal/wood build, has nicer case and waaay nicer cable and better tips and more of them.. Tips are just standard throwaway tips. I’d highly recommend getting Spinfit W1/Penon LS tips/ ( those are my two favourites, not only medical grade silicone for better comfort but they improve the sonics a bit. W1 is a bit of a v shape while Penon is more balanced. Arete itself, well frankly I find it the worst out of their lineup of the 200+ stuff. Either Doscinco, Cincotres, Estrella or Odyssey are arguably better ( not sure about Arcadia, did not hear it yet ). Don’t think that I’m a hater or anything of that sorts but Arete really is the worst of their lineup imho. And I’ve nothing against Ziigaat, as I actually own the Odyssey and have the same shitty cable and shitty tips ;)
I don’t want to insult anyone but you forgot that majority of humans out there are ignorant morons. There I said it. I even pointed them to warm, bassy iem example done right ( we judge only the tuning ) not the price, as this could have been made of off cardboard and dirt cheap otherwise. The Penon Globe. i also own the Penon Fan OG which is a single DD iem that is bassy and warm. I love my Sivga Que as well. So all of them are more expensive, yes, but it’s mostly about tuning. If we would strip the much nicer cable, accessories, packaging and build quality. In the end the single dd driver in China on the oem market can be had for 1$ or maybe even pennies. Let the body be plastic, I don’t care but those people telling me that this thing rocks, and beats Performer 5+2 or Hype2? That sounds like being delusional, I would advise those individuals to simply lower the treble region and/or boost the bass region and clearly here which thing remains superior. But at the end of a day, you need to remember. Trying to shove facts or knowledge to certain heads is like trying to revers a nile with a tooth pick. “ A monkey in silk is a monkey no less “
I’d add Sivga Que to the mix, Kefine is an offspring of Sivga. I have both the Que and Delci AE ( although I lost the silver nozzles and am left with gold ones :/ ) The Que is a bit more midbass centric and is thanks to this more “grounded” think marshall sound with properly done treble. The male vocals sound fuller, and the bass is slightly less deep than Delci, but has more body thanks to the slightly lifted midbass. Delci AE (silver nozzle) has a bit better treble extension, but feels a bit more “boring” If i dare to use this word here, Que simply has a bit more Character. Delci is more of this “albeit well done, generic consumer sound signature close” I Think You’d like Sivga for rap. Oh, Que is also way easier to fit in my ear for some reason. Delci is a super small iem and it’s hard to get a proper fit quite often. But Delci AE has an ace up it’s sleeve and that’s 2 set of tuning nozzles. The gold ones are much brighter and somewhat bring the sound signature close to the simgot EW200. It’s much more exciting sound signature, but it will bring fatigue rather quickly. Sivga Que holds a special place in my headt and it was one of those cheap” gems that I love despite owning 8 other sets and reaching up to 700$ ISN EBC80.
First come back after 15 years of iem hiatus was Sivga Que, beryllium coated single DD with all metal and wood build, still use it and still love it. Even though I have 7 other sets ’
Aye, especially in the case of the Que as it has a midbass bump that helps to bring authority to male vocals and ground them. It’s a fantastic iem imho and the build and accessories for the price are awesome.
Hmm. Sivga Que, Single DD Beryllium Coated. Amazing Cable and accessories ( cable sold alone is almost jn the price of an iem! ) all metal/wood build. More midbass presence which gives male vocals power and authority. 60-70$ https://preview.redd.it/y12o58q20vue1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d4662139853629900a26ea0120934770478e004
It’s very musical. I highly recommend it :)
Had Momentum 3 and heard the 4 they sound very similar, still way better than any Sony WH series. Especially after slight eq to tame the sub bass on the 4. I have many Iems and have Focal Azurys jeadphone as well. I got the FT1 2 weeks ago and instantly fell in love with them. They are fun, comfortable and good looking and come with both 3.5 and 4.4, with a pricetag that is really kind of slap in the face for the competition. And they have an ACTUAL soundstage, and are closed back. So that’s another wow factor. The Azurys still sounds better with good sources like my iBasso DX180 or Shanling M3+ ( although I wish they did design it to be able to take balanced connection ) but fiio has better soundstage still! I would agree with the OP that this is a market shaker. And ai think that many budget oriented music enthusiast should have it in their collection. To me the FT1 was as much of a revelation as as a single DD iem the Sivga Que and now the Sivga Que UTG. For 65$ and 79$ great build, wood metal ( sounds” familiar ? ) great cable, great case, good looks. Great tuning, bargain price. I’d say that any of the Sivga Que and the FT1 are a perfect combo for a budget oriented music enthusiast. I could live with this combo and be happy even though I own iems like Xenns Top Pro or the ISN EBC80
ISN EBC80, Ziigaat Odyssey, Sivga Que, ISN H20, Penon Fan, and in an hour when I’ll get my package the Xenns Top Pro. Odyssey is for Work, chill, as well as H20 and Penon Fan. EBC80 , Sivga, when I really simply want to listen, focus and enjoy music.
Of all the IEMs I have, for some reason, the one I like the most is the Aful Explorer. I also have the Kefine Klean, Kefine Delci Ae, Sivga Que, Kiwi Ears Airoso, Lesthouer S08, Simgot EW300, Hidizs MP143, and MP145. All of these IEMs have a somewhat neutral, warm signature, but they all have excellent, very different sounds. I recommend the Aful Explorer, it's the best without a doubt. I won't tell you about the Hidizs MP145 because they're too big and can have adjustment problems if you have a narrow ear canal. Another thing I recommend is that you play with different types of cables and eartips, they can make a difference.
I've tried several IEMs under the $100 range, the Lesthouer S08, Kefine Delci AE, Kefine Klean, Sivga Que, Simgot EW300, Isn Audio H20, and Turthear Zero Red. All of these IEMs are excellent for the price paid, and the ones I liked the most are the Lesthouer S08, Kefine Delci AE, and Sivga Que. https://preview.redd.it/86zc1z7oabtf1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=397875ebb7606dfc6e3d1de604e148efbf11c483
Fosi DS2 is one of the cleanest and most neutral DAC/Amps you can get, and at $50, its a steal. If you HAVE to get something off of that list, then i would go witht he Fiio KA13, just for the Fiio App, and ease of support and firmware updates through Fiio. If you want something without overpowering bass. You can basically write off the Lagato, Fudu, EM6L, Hexa, and DZ4. They all have a rumbly sub bass texture to them, the Legato is basically a bass canon, and a bad one at that. The DZ4 and the Hexa do have a slightly leaner lower mid bass region, but that just makes the sub bass more pronounced sounding. The only really vocal forward, low bass IEM in that list is the Aria2. But it is kinda older now, and i think there are some better tuned IEM's out there with a similar sound signature. The Titan S2 is a good IEM, very balanced, vocals are a little less prominent than the Aria2, but the upper mids have more authority, so female vocals are a little stronger. The mid bass of the Titan S2 is also strong, which can make it feel bassy on some rock or traditional jazz tracks. But it balances nicely with the upper treble. If you want something that has less lower mid kick, the original Titan S, or the Sivga Que, might be a better fit.
Zero blue 2, and Sivga que
It has a nice build quality and bold balanced sound.
aria 2, zero blue 2, siva que, kefien delci
kbear kb02 on ali- good budget set, worth the 20$, bone conduction works!! ew300 x hbb on ali - another budget set, worth the 60 i spent, going to take this pair to work kiwiears aether on linsoul - my favorite planar so far sivga que on linsoul- on the way! fiio ft1 on linsoul - branching out from iems, also on the way!
Similar tuning concept to Sivga Que so if I didn't have the Que already I would pick these ones up. Budget option would be Edx Ultra. Ignore the comments saying that it wouldn't be better than something 10 times as expensive, the truth is that tuning is almost everything unless you care very much about technicalities
Truthear Hexa, Truthear Pure, 7hz Sonus, HE Xiao Qiao, Sivga Que, Tanchjim Nora This is, of course, without considering one's preference of tonality, because I'd pick Que over anything else in the $60 range (the only reason I dont is because I already have IE200)
If you collect some coupons - the Sivga Que is great.
