Sony MDR-EX800ST with thick tape over the vents is the best I’ve heard.
Can you describe what kind of basshead you are looking for? Midbass? Subbassy? Do you care about treble or vocals? Out of all on the list I have the Titan. I say it sounds very subassy like there is a subwoofer on your ear. It’s unique as the vocals are still heard clearly however at times it gets slightly enveloped with the subbass depending on the song on how pronounced it is. If you like to be drowned by midbass and does not care about vocals and treble much, Sony MDR-EX800ST + tape mod (putting an electrical tape on the vent) this will drown you with midbass, you don’t need a lot of money to enjoy.
I remember the bass monsters from 2010's. Some could do them all. I had the Future Sonics Atrio M5 which is equivalent to the price of the TSMR Armour today. The treble is just enough for monitoring use without being offensive. The bass was monstrous, and it's almost flat right up to the mids. All that with a single 10 mm dynamic. Another honourable mention is Sony's EX800ST. I had the honour of auditioning it but I found the treble to be too bright. But it did have an absolutely massive kick in the bass.
Yeah, the ER2XR and ER2SE are extremely natural-sounding and hold up even if you're used to top-tier IEMs. Sony MDR-EX1000 as well (and maybe the MDR-EX800ST/MDR-7550, but I forget).
Diffuse field? Anyway, timbre-wise the Etymotic ER2XR/ER2SE, Sony MDR-EX1000, and MDR-EX800StT maybe are some of my suggestions. Maybe the JVC HA-FW10000 for a high-end set. I have one, but I haven't trialed it yet.

Same here. I had heard so much about them and finally got a pair on a recent trip to Japan and paid ~$125 tax free. I also have the Deuce and various other very basshead sets, good ones, but nothing has what those Sony’s give you.
I liked mine, but ended up selling them. Kind of the same feeling. My fave for bass are Sony ex800st with the vents taped. They’re the only ones where I get the proper thump in my brain, super tactile and awesome sounding.
I use my Sony ex800 st’s for older, rougher hip hop. Before that I had the Blon BL03’s which were pretty great. For newer, more clean produced stuff I got planers like my modded s12s and the new Diablos (which are dope!), or my DosCincos which are great all-rounders. In general the planars make older tracks sound worse cause it exposes all the limitations of the production from back in the day, but they are amazing for sub bass, texture, and clarity on stuff that is well produced.
Open back or semi open back sets are the only way to really improve the illusion of space. Iems with some big venting can be better than others. Best ones I personally have for this are the mp145 and the Sony ex800st. Both are practically open back with very large vents. None of the “budget” sets I’ve tried really compete, but there could be something out there with a similar design concept.
No problem and enjoy! My long gone Sony MDR-EX800ST was my favourite all time, parted ways more than 10 years ago I also wholeheartedly recommend Tanchjim bunny and KZ Castor bass
The Sony MDR-EX800ST, there is nothing sound like it
Sony MDR-EX800ST I have 2 sets for the longest time I didn't do any of the mods that could be done for it but I've used them since 2018 and they're the best all around iem. Bass bumps hard but clear. Currently using the blessing 3 with an eq and foam tips don't like it as much comfort wise but sound stage feels larger and I can make out more details.
I've only gotten the 800's heard that modding them makes them into a psudo 1000. never heard of the xba-z5. I'll have to look at them. Right now I'm using koss porta pro I've been having inner ear problems.i have 5 IEM's now, 2 being the 800's, a set of blessings 3 , linsoul zero:2. Used to have Shure 215 but they legit fell apart and the plastic wouldn't stay together.
