Mine just arrived today, and I am currently testing them out plugged them into to a Type C adapter into my S24 Ultra listening to Metal, and I honestly think they're amazing. You can hear literally everything in the mix. I bought two pairs, one for Church use and the other for home studio use.
So I will say I play at church every week and I was borrowing a pair of a $1000+ dollar set of IEMs that were a custom molded pair, since I didn't have my own pair yet, and your brand sounds even better then that custom spare set I was using before. You're more then welcome to post this as a review too.
Nah! Because the molds fit my ears fine, even though they were custom made for a different person. Sound quality the Sound Brenner Wave's sound a lot better, more clarity, and more so of a hifi for the $99 I paid. So that being said, truly proves to me that the custom molded ones if you like burning through or throwing away extra money just to tell people that they cost over $1000 would be the only reason why anyone would spend over $1000 on wired IEM's.
Nah! I would rather spend my $1000+ towards another tube amp or guitar then IEM'S (Glorified wired headphones). That custom pair I am talking about wasn't a cheap pair by any means. They just sound flat in comparison to the Wave's.
I have a pair. They are very average. I’ll use them occasionally but prefer wearing my HD 25s.
I tried them. Not great. Went with shure instead
I have them. They are ok. I think I prefer my kz z10 pros. I don’t use IEMs in loud gigs tho - mainly just lounge/restaurant gigs.
Soundbrenner wave for under $100, had them a couple weeks now and for being budget theyre absolutely great
Soundbrenner Wave IEM are amazing
I'm probably one of the few people in this sub that have a pair of the Wave on hand. I took a liking to them initially for two reasons. They are doing something right about the timbre of instruments. Sounds of violins, oboes and horns on a higher range sounds just right and compared favourably to some other expensive IEMs that I was trying like the IE600. The weight of the horns especially sounded really great. The front edge of their sounds are really clean. So drum sets are really impactful and scratches and articulations on the violins are clearly heard. I moved on to trying cheap Chi-Fi sets though and put it away. I just dug it out again and compared to my Truthear Hexa and Simgot EM6L which are roundabout the same price point. I think those two point still stands, but the overall tuning for the Hexa and EM6L are less fatiguing. I don't have a measuring rig, nor am I that proficient with audiophile lingo yet, so can't give you a good description of its tonality. They are clearly marketed differently to Chi-Fi IEMs though. Seems they've been bombarding facebook and other traditional advertising platforms rather than sending out free copies to audiophile reviewers. Also they seem to be meant for musicians monitoring feeds and not for enjoying music, though from the few reviews I've seen they don't seem to be tuned like typical monitor IEMs with recessed 1-3k for hearing protection. Anyway I liked them, but for a first pair its probably safer to get a cheaper Chi-Fi set that has been hyped by mainstream reviewers that have done measurements and the like as they probably appeal to more people.
Oh interesting. I have a pair of these lying around. Rather liked it but haven't seen them reviewed at all. Keen to see what people actually think about it. Apparently they are quite heavily advertised? I've never seen any ads for this, so thought they were rather obscure.
Check out soundebrenner wave IEMs. They have been fantastic for me. Really clear sound. You have to separately purchase the microphone attachment, but seems to work well, as no friend had any issues with the quality.
