My personal rankings for stuff I've heard. I'm a neutral/neutral bright guy. (My post on reddit goes somewhat in depth on all of these, sadly I'm not very technical in my language) Kotori Audio Zephyr (Duh) Truthear Hexa Tangzu Yu Xuan Ji (might be too bright for some but easily looks the prettiest by a *BIG* margin) Truthear Gate (My current set, would upgrade to one of the options in the list in a few months) Tanchjim 4u (Bang for buck) Truthear x Crinacle blue 2 (tachjim 4u has better value) Aful Magicone (very similar to hexa) Moondrop May (A default starter set for almost everyone regardless of taste.) Letshouer s08 (not my taste, great value, premium for the price) Letshouer dz4 (not my taste, great value) Moondrop Chu 2 (My previous set that are lying around somewhere) Tangzu x hbb Xuan Nv (just because of the fit) Kotori Audio Vampire I'll check out your YouTube!

Origin is amazing, as are Etymotic and Cadenza 4 but in a way none of them are good blind buys. Origin is for DD enthusiasts, and people who like Tanchjim sound specifically, so you should probably try the 4U first. Etymotic IEMs are very mid-focused neutral and also have a very deep fit that you will love or hate. Cadenza 4 is a bit more approachable but still very neutral and upper mids focused, to the point of being clinical and dry to some people. FiiO FD15 is another good rec but it leans neutral-warm with safe treble, like the Hexa though some people find it too neutral, not enough excitement factor. Now you could go for other hyped hybrids like Aful P5+2, Simgot SM4, or something from Ziigaat but they aren't as neutral, you would probably find the bass to be over-prominent and the highs bordering on too much. So from your description I would say Origin is the best for you. Not too much bass but you can feel it, vocal prominence that has weight for both female and male but never gets harsh, highs extension but not over-brightness. The graphs make it look brighter than it is IRL; and oh man the layering is something else, better than any other 1DD in my collection. But like I said before you might want to try the 4U first for a taste of the Tanchjim 1DD sound.

Oh wow those are some great prices! Aful MagicOne was $140 retail and the 4U like $60. On the 4U don't believe those who say only the highest bass setting is the best, I actually like one up from the lowest. You can try adjusting based on your type of music.
