"It lacks the bass that I'm looking for."
"But for breakcore is not suitable for wan'er.It handles electronic textures decently, but might lack the super deep sub-bass slam or ultra-crisp treble that hardcore synth lovers chase"
"Lmao u are so right I mean sound clarity is good but lacks bass"

"It was whiny, that's the best way I can describe it. ... It sounded like a petulant child, upset that it didn't get its way. ... Whatever frequencies that a child whines at about not wanting to do something or whatever, those frequencies seemed enhanced to my ears"
"With the Wan'er specifically, cutting 1.5K will improve soundstage (which is very congested to begin with)"

My favourite compact cheap set rn is a jade Waner with S&S tips and the blue zonie cable and a BTR11 for Bluetooth. It It's light, sounds good enough for walking around and window shopping etc. and I won't cry too much if I forget them somewhere.
Tangzu wainer >moondrop,7hz salnotes
Hi! You commented on my post and I thought I’d come by to give some advice! I would typically recommend the wan’er 2 as a first pair of iem’s but considering their large shell size they might not be for you. The Chu 2 are a great set absolutely and can be upgraded directly to the LAN 2 ref also from Moondrop. I wouldn’t recommend going for the ie200 because they cost a good amount of money but they take on a neutral tone which might be to your preference, I personally prefer a “fun” sound and therefore don’t use them often. Also consider tip sizes. If you find your canal is too small, most iem’s offer small tip sizes and you can find even smaller aftermarket, in which case I recommend the wan’er 2 as they have my favourite ever tips in the stock box that I use for all my iem’s. Don’t spend more than needed, I would recommend the KZ castors, Cadenza, Wan’er 1 or 2, Chu 2, or, if it’s in your budget, the LAN
I have both. The waner is tuned very mids forward. It’s doesn’t produce much bass. I really like it for artists like fleetwood Mac or any female pop group or artist that isn’t pushing dance or hip hop levels of bass. The Kunten can handle more bass. It’s warmer and to my ears it suits a broad range of music fairly well. It’s not a basshead set so you’re not going to get massive slam out of hip hop or dubstep, but it won’t sound bad either. Same thing with vocal forward music. If you really want to hear a singer like you’re in then front row, this isn’t the set for it, but it still sounds good. It’s more V-shaped so the instruments tend to be as present as the vocals are, assuming the source mix pushes the vocals forward a bit. If the track has vocals that are level with the rest of the instruments then the Kunten will make the vocals a touch quieter, but it’s not drastic. For my taste, I now use my waners rarely. I use the Kunten for a lot. You can get the Kunten, good tips like triclarions, and a basic upgrade cable for about the same as the waner. So, the “buy waner sg 2 for the nice accessories” argument doesn’t cut it, here. Not unless you just really want that particular tip.
Tangzu wan er vs this one which one has better sound . i have alredy tangzu also i curious about castor pro
KZ has a lot of decent value IEMs. I also have a set of Tangzu Waner IEMs that I really enjoy for their surprising separation and they make female vocals sound great.
First of all: I am not an expert in hi-fi. I'm just a simple man who was looking for good IEMs, and this is only my subjective opinion. The IEMs I was looking for should cost between $50 and $150 and should have balanced, lively bass with pleasant treble that does not tire the ears. So far, I have tried many IEMs and tested them on my PC and smartphone without any additional devices. No DAC, no amp. It was important to me that they were ready to use right out of the box. For me, good sound is when it is carried by lively bass and deep frequencies that guide you through the music, especially for drum and bass and metal. Low frequencies, and especially bass, form the basis of a good listening experience; that's the primary purpose of why I prefer hi-fi headphones, to get into it. My rotation: **≈ 50$ IEMs which I tested:** LINSOUL TANGZU Wan'er LINSOUL SIMGOT EW200 MOONDROP CHU II LINSOUL 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 KZ Castor LINSOUL KZ ZS10 PRO 2 LINSOUL KZ ZS10 PRO X **≈ 100$ IEMs which I tested:** LINSOUL SIMGOT EW300 ARTTI T10 Pro TRUTHEAR Hexa Surprisingly, only two of the IEMs I tested impressed me with their overall bass reproduction. I couldn't decide between the KZ PRO 2 and the ZERO BLUE 2, but in the end I chose the BLUE 2 because it offers the best overall package. For me, the ZERO BLUE 2 is simply badass right out of the box. These were the only IMEs that had this deep sounding I was looking for. https://preview.redd.it/fm66t5fl5uef1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87099e1c617e96b62bb51f28fe01520ebe96a0c6 https://preview.redd.it/pyn3x43m5uef1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=721c67332e8f8dd3db7ed8ac6e948c098e174871
Just got the eg280 a few days ago, personally love it def an upgrade from my previous pair (tangzu wan er ) that broke so I needed a replacement as I used it for gaming. I use the dac it came with, honestly its a Lil low with the power than I thought but it does make the sound smoother especially for my fps games when there's a lot going on, I also eq tuned it so for me (I like a lot more bass than normal) it does the job ! Very happy with the purchase as it was cost efficient! Maybe in the future ill get a new adapter but for now its honestly good!
Previously I used Kinera Wyvern Abyss/Black and Tanzu Wan’er. Now I want to try something similar but with a wider soundstage. Mostly I listen to many genres of music, and I also use IEMs for movies and other content. The Wyvern Black’s warm tuning was good, but it felt a bit lacking in bass for my taste. On the other hand, the Tanzu’s natural sound was very good for me. The Wyvern was my main IEM, so now I want something similar but without the downsides (like lack of bass and dark-ish sound). I have shortlisted a few IEMs: EW200 Ignite X Beast AGA Audio AGAOne STA Pro I also want to try something new, like AGAOne or STA Pro. Which one would be better in terms of: wider soundstage good amount of bass natural mids micro details Also, the STA Pro’s faceplate looks interesting, and the reviews seem closer to my taste. The AGAOne also looks good, but I didn’t find too many reviews on it.
My first headphones were sundara. Then i got tangzu wan’er just to see what iems were like. Enjoyed them enough that i got 7hz timeless. Liked the timeless more than the sundara. Fit was part of it, but detail to i think. I got high and did an a/b one night to private investigations live by dire straight. With the sundara, i felt like i was in the crowd at the Hollywood bowl watching the performance play out. How awesome is that? I can be at home and feel like i am at a live concert? Tremendous. Then i went to the timeless. I wasnt in the crow anymore. I was walking around on stage just hanging out next to the musicians. I wasnt listening to music, i was in the music. Ok both are excellent but these win. Then i ordered arya stealth and was hoping they’d have the intimacy of the timeless mixed with the presence of the sundara. And i think thats a decent enough description. I love the aryas but i still feel them on my head and it sounds like listening to speakers. If i want the music to feel like it’s beamed directly into my head it has to be an iem.
18 month warranty on the refurbish too. Though i dont fully understand the extra 6 months for a facebook follow. But at least 12. And no tax. Started with sundara and the jump was worth it. Iems ive gone tangzu wan er to timeless 7hz and arttii t10. The timeless are really nice but they havent come down in price at all. T10 are great but oratory doesnt have an eq for them.
