Don't get me wrong but those Tangzu Zetian Wu Legend sounds phenomenal, and have a great carrying case. I think they are a bit underrated here ( I think they are an A+ at least) but I might understand you probably didn't like the slight v shape of it ? What are your thoughts on it ?
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->If you value build quality a lot, yes, for everything else they are similar, for the price I would say waner 2. I hope tangzu makes a budget model in aluminum
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->There are many iems that I also forgot, for example the Noble are excellent. Simply as we said it is a personal list of things tried. I will look specifically for the ISN and penon iems now. thanks
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->I agree, they are the best value planar along with the s12, lots of accessories and good sound. I'm just not a planar fan and this is a personal list. I could put them a little higher. I have it in my collection lol They are mine basic advice for planars :)
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->I didn't like them, it's a personal list, I liked the 2, the pros don't compete unfortunately. They sound too dry and devoid of emotions for me, but degustibus The C iems aren't that bad, it's just that for me they don't compete with the others in terms of value, tuning, design, comfort and accessories
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->I like the Kiwi IEMs, I think they are excellent, the Punch are boring and with an anonymous design, mediocre accessories and a tuning too warm for my taste, I prefer the balance and the subwoofer effect of the Deuce. the bass in fatfreq is better With the resources that HBB has it can do better That said, this is a personal list. If you get along well with other youtubers you can follow their advice :) If you like punch more just enjoy it
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->I have the tangzu zetian wu the legend version with the spinfit W1 eartips and they have offered me a surprisingly pleasant experience, kind of sad to see it in the 'avoid' section. But,of course,I understand that everyone has different tastes. By the way,Jay, I really enjoy your content and am always overjoyed to see any content you put out.
r/iems • My 2025 IEM TIERLIST/RANKING (39 IEMS JUNE FIRST HALF) ->I recently tried the S12 Pro, S12 Anniversary, Timeless II, Timeless AE, Simgot ET142, Artti T10, Hidisz MP145, and Zetian Wu Legend. It's tough to pick a personal favorite since they all have their pros and cons, but if I had to choose, my top picks would probably be: * Timeless II or Timeless AE (whichever is cheaper). I like the Timeless II, but it can be prone to sibilance. The Timeless AE isn't as sibilant, but its upper treble is definitely a bit too much for me. * Simgot ET142. These are actually really good. The bass reminds me of the Timeless II/AE and the treble isn't as harsh as, say the S12 Pro. My only issue is the apparent peak in the upper-mids. * S12 Pro. Mostly because they're one of the cheapest options and the fit is easy as hell. They don't lack in technicalities compared to the rest either but yeah, the treble can be a bit too much for me. * Lastly, the MP145. The fit can be tricky, but when I get a good seal, they're good. Plus in my country they can be cheaper than the S12 Pro. As for the Artti T10, I had a hard time getting a good fit so I'll probably pass on that one. Still haven't tried the Zetian Wu Heyday or the Kiwi Ears Aether tho.
r/iems • What's been your fav planar so far? ->They're really a V-shaped set, kinda remind me of my Beyer headphones at home actually. I actually like their bass. It's good and really, really similar to the Timeless AE's. Their treble has a lot of energy, especially in the upper range (even more than the Timeless AE/II) and they're very prone to sibilance, can get really "spicy" at times. That's not the only thing, though. I feel like they have a dip in the mids, which makes the midrange sound little bit overpowered by the treble. In terms of "technicalities" and stuff, I feel like all of these IEMs are really close. Personally, I have a hard time justifying the Zetian Wu Legend since it's the most expensive set at around $300 in my country, while the Timeless II, AE, and Simgot ET142 are only around $200-220 here. That said, aside from how they sound, they have a good cable, come in a huge-ass box and include Tang Sancai eartips right off the bat. They're easy to fit too. This is why I'm still curious about the Heyday, since I've heard their midrange is good. I might buy them one day just to satisfy my curiosity
r/iems • What's been your fav planar so far? ->Not gonna get anything good under 2k. Recommend the Binary chopin or tangzu zetian wu legend.
r/PHbuildapc • Best IEM with best sound quality under 2k Php? ->While I agree the zetian wu the legend has bad ootb tuning, with an autoeq to the campfire astrolith, its actually insanely good like a poor man's astrolith. Very good clean thumpy lows and sparly highs decent mids, no distortion dogwalks the simgot supermix 4 i got before it. no planar timbre whatsover either after that autoEQ

r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->I like my Tangzu ZetianWu: The Legend
r/iems • Best planar driver iem? ->Tanzu Wu Zetain is a little dated, but I like how it sounds. I find the Aether a little anemic - but I like warm IEMs. In 2025 - I'd say the T10 pros come really close at a way lower cost
r/iems • Best planar iem? ->Pardon my rambling. I'm kind of jumping around topics. Deuce does take EQ well, but make sure your source is clean. High output impedance will affect the bass - that's how those impedance adapters work. Deuce is a twin dynamic driver IEM with a woofer driver that primarily works under 300hz. Planar iems like the 7hz Timeless and related Shuoer S12 have *very fast* bass that doesn't hit extremely hard for how it graphs. The attack and decay is nearly instant, which is good for really busy music, but given your artists & genres it's not something to think about too hard. I've got a Tangzu Zetian Wu, which is from the same generation, and it doesn't hit as hard as my Kailua, which is a twin dynamic with a similar subwoofer crossover as the Deuce. They graph almost the same in the bass - that is, the Kailua and the Zetian Wu. Also, the shell is huge on Deuce. Make sure you're willing to sell it if it doesn't turn out as expected. It's even bigger than the Zero Red in my experience. What else to consider... most IEMs with a reasonably large driver or center dome should give you the expected punch/kick from EQ. Given you're willing to EQ to get what you want, Deuce and FD15 should be high up on the list. **Given you are willing to buy used**, you should check out the Sony XBA-N3 - My favorite high bass IEM, period. It's really, really good out of the box. "N3AP" is a 3.5mm termination and "N3BP" is 4.4mm pentaconn. I mostly listen to things like happy hardcore, DnB, and 90's Jungle - but I also dabble in jazz & symphonic poems. It can handle all of those. Just keep in mind not to lose the tuning foams in the nozzle...! They're hard to find. Good luck out there! It's tough finding an IEM that hits hard as one would really enjoy.
