I really like the Diablos but also the Tangzu Zetian Wu Legend.

Don't get me wrong but those Tangzu Zetian Wu Legend sounds phenomenal, and have a great carrying case. I think they are a bit underrated here ( I think they are an A+ at least) but I might understand you probably didn't like the slight v shape of it ? What are your thoughts on it ?

If you value build quality a lot, yes, for everything else they are similar, for the price I would say waner 2. I hope tangzu makes a budget model in aluminum

There are many iems that I also forgot, for example the Noble are excellent. Simply as we said it is a personal list of things tried. I will look specifically for the ISN and penon iems now. thanks

I agree, they are the best value planar along with the s12, lots of accessories and good sound. I'm just not a planar fan and this is a personal list. I could put them a little higher. I have it in my collection lol They are mine basic advice for planars :)

I didn't like them, it's a personal list, I liked the 2, the pros don't compete unfortunately. They sound too dry and devoid of emotions for me, but degustibus The C iems aren't that bad, it's just that for me they don't compete with the others in terms of value, tuning, design, comfort and accessories

I like the Kiwi IEMs, I think they are excellent, the Punch are boring and with an anonymous design, mediocre accessories and a tuning too warm for my taste, I prefer the balance and the subwoofer effect of the Deuce. the bass in fatfreq is better With the resources that HBB has it can do better That said, this is a personal list. If you get along well with other youtubers you can follow their advice :) If you like punch more just enjoy it

I have the tangzu zetian wu the legend version with the spinfit W1 eartips and they have offered me a surprisingly pleasant experience, kind of sad to see it in the 'avoid' section. But,of course,I understand that everyone has different tastes. By the way,Jay, I really enjoy your content and am always overjoyed to see any content you put out.

I recently tried the S12 Pro, S12 Anniversary, Timeless II, Timeless AE, Simgot ET142, Artti T10, Hidisz MP145, and Zetian Wu Legend. It's tough to pick a personal favorite since they all have their pros and cons, but if I had to choose, my top picks would probably be: * Timeless II or Timeless AE (whichever is cheaper). I like the Timeless II, but it can be prone to sibilance. The Timeless AE isn't as sibilant, but its upper treble is definitely a bit too much for me. * Simgot ET142. These are actually really good. The bass reminds me of the Timeless II/AE and the treble isn't as harsh as, say the S12 Pro. My only issue is the apparent peak in the upper-mids. * S12 Pro. Mostly because they're one of the cheapest options and the fit is easy as hell. They don't lack in technicalities compared to the rest either but yeah, the treble can be a bit too much for me. * Lastly, the MP145. The fit can be tricky, but when I get a good seal, they're good. Plus in my country they can be cheaper than the S12 Pro. As for the Artti T10, I had a hard time getting a good fit so I'll probably pass on that one. Still haven't tried the Zetian Wu Heyday or the Kiwi Ears Aether tho.

They're really a V-shaped set, kinda remind me of my Beyer headphones at home actually. I actually like their bass. It's good and really, really similar to the Timeless AE's. Their treble has a lot of energy, especially in the upper range (even more than the Timeless AE/II) and they're very prone to sibilance, can get really "spicy" at times. That's not the only thing, though. I feel like they have a dip in the mids, which makes the midrange sound little bit overpowered by the treble. In terms of "technicalities" and stuff, I feel like all of these IEMs are really close. Personally, I have a hard time justifying the Zetian Wu Legend since it's the most expensive set at around $300 in my country, while the Timeless II, AE, and Simgot ET142 are only around $200-220 here. That said, aside from how they sound, they have a good cable, come in a huge-ass box and include Tang Sancai eartips right off the bat. They're easy to fit too. This is why I'm still curious about the Heyday, since I've heard their midrange is good. I might buy them one day just to satisfy my curiosity

Hey folks! Glad to be around, I hope you all had great holidays! I am always looking for more fidelity in sound - and of course some fun. That's what my prefered sound profile (aka tuning) is alike, too. Mostly neutral but if a little bit of "slight v" or bass boost is included, that's fine too. But really, I like to keep it civil here, more a fan of neutral and natural. Can't stand too harsh sibilants or hissing sounds, so a (hard) treble boost isn't exactly what I am looking for. I am currently hearing with the original Tangzu Wu Zetian (the one with the beautiful purple faceplates) but sadly the IEMs never fully fitted my ear-canals, even with a lot of tip rolling, plus they tend to get a bit uncomfortable/hurtful in my ear when wearing over longer periods (more on the "outside" of the ear though, no problem with the nozzle itself). Never have had these problems with other IEMs before. I am mostly using them when I am around, often in noisy surroundings and public transportations, if that is something to consider. The portable amp currently "only" is a Qudelix 5k. At home I can use quite a bit of different, more powerful amps but I'd love to get the IEMs driven by the 5k with no worries. My budget is around 500,- Euro but if you convince me that it's pointless in that price range I could maybe get up to 1000 bucks. Those I set my sights on so far are the following ones: 1. Kiwi Ears - Orchestra II 2. Hisenior - Mega7 3. Ziigaat - Horizon 4. Kiwi Ears - HBB Punch // I read a lot about them being quite bass\~y though) 5. Thieaudio - Hype 4 // same like with the HBB Punch?) And, ofc, if there are very good arguments for them, I also considered the: 1. Letshuoer - Mystic 8 2. Thieaudio - Monarch Mk II (or Mk IV?) // What is it about with the new, updated drivers on the Monarch Mk II? Maybe I haven't seen the obvious ones though, I am glad if you would enlighten me! Thanks in advance for reading my sermon and for helping me go on on the path of fidelity ;) Best regards! Edit: Before I forget - I like to listen to a lot of voice, but also the harder genres of metal (a lot of Black Metal and derivatives), Hard and Art Rock, Progressive stuff, some electronica, but even though classic music and choir... In short, I hope the IEMs shouldn't have a problem with fast, energetic, chaotic and complex types of music. Looking for something more natural and neutral should help with that but I dunno!

Would love to some day compare these with my tangzu wu zetian legends. Although i did find the tangzu to be lacking out of the box, after eq it is perfect, the bass comes out of whatever cave it was sitting in.

I have the sony wh-1000xm5 and i have increased treble and a bit bass. Now i dont have the big ass experience of testing iems or headphones, but for EDM i find them to be very good. I think as a whole it is just a different experience. Can it get better on iems? Of course. As an bass head, i dont think 100 euro iems will blow out my sony.(correct me if i am wrong on this). I have purchased tangzu wu zetian legends, reduced a bit the treble and increased a bit the bass and gotten a better all rounder then my sony headphones, but it is a completly different sound, so maybe that is a bad conparison. Edit : personally after the tangzu i found out that both are unique with different sounds but are not my endgame or ideal soundings things. More then enough, if i am not too picky.
