Tin T2 and nope they broke, use to be what reddit swore by :)
TinT2 still have them, my current favorite iem that I have is the S12pro
My Tin T2s worked great when I used them for a while, like baby SHP9500s
Just looking at the listing, you can absolutely find something comparable on AliExpress for much less (perhaps depending on where tariffs are idk). Products like these almost always have clones, or straight up the same product available from the manufacturer. A lot of this price is surely mired in the big ass case, the accessories, the branding. I use my Tin T2 IEMs, which I got open box for around $40, and they're kinda good for everything. I've used them for gaming, media, and obviously music/playing along to music. They're a great pair of IEMs in general, and I find their size and their in-house foam tips to be really great for actually staying in my ear when drumming. Larger housings like the Drumeo ones have seem to not work as well for me.
Does anyone list to jazz? If so what would you recommend for under $100 or $50? I had the tin t2s for a while and those are what got me into jazz but then I moved onto some wireless earbuds and they weren't great for jazz, or anything else really so I'm looking to move back to wired. I listen to hiphop, pop and other genres too but jazz, hiphop and pop would be the main 3.
Hisenior cano cristales maybe? Jk i like the faceplate tho Well i think you should try cheaper iem. Price is in order > Sgor Luna>KZ PRX>Artti t10 (planar) Tanchjim one>Tin Audio T2>Truthear Hexa>Truthear Pure (Neutral) Tangzu wan'er SG>Tanchjim Bunny>Celest Wyvern Black/Abyss>Simgot EW300 DSP>Aful Explorer (Warm) Or cheap Bone conduction iem like KBear KB02 Edit: And if you like Kiwi Ears they have plenty of good iem like the Septet, Astral, orchestra lite
My first was tin t2 back in the says, ofc it's not worth it anymore. There are many cheap options, maybe decide ur budget range first single for some reason cheap is like 10$ and or others like 100$.
Buy in-ear monitors. Then, make sure the tips fit your ears well to endure a good seal. I use Dekoni Bulletz, and they're amazing. You can get away with almost any Chi-Fi IEM in the ~$100 price range. I recommend the Tin T2 and Moondrop Starfields. DO NOT buy Shure SE-215s. They are bad. They sound like shit. Getting a good seal in your ear is paramount. If you’re unwilling to shell out for custom molded monitors (very valid), then make sure you get good tips. Take note that your ears may require a different size tip. Your ear canals are not perfectly symmetrical.
I only own three pairs now (one full size headphone, one IEM and one TWS). I’ll rank them and other headphones/IEMs I’ve had but some of this is coming from memory: 1. Focal Utopia* 2. U12t* 3. Focal Clear 4. Sundara 5. Blessing 2 Dusk 6. HD6XX 7. EMU Ebony 8. AirPods Pro* 9. AKG K371 10. Etymotic ER4XR 11. B&O H6 Gen 2 12. Tin T2 13. Beyerdynamic DT177x GO 14. Meze 99 Noir 15. Beyerdynamic DT770 16. ATH M50x * is what I currently own. Everything else has been sold off.
Meze Alba (when on sale) with QoA Rum cables QoA Aviatons (when on sale) with QoA Whiskey cable Tin T2 with FiiO LC-RC cables and AZLA Mithryl ear tips
My 3 most expensive iems that cost $1000+ at msrp, but purchased for <$1000 (sales or used) are Noble Katana Gunmetal Blue, Campfire Moon Rover, and Meze Rai Penta I started off with Tin T2 (og version), Fiio/Jade Audio EA1, and MassDrop X Noble Universal X then proceeded to add more from there.
No? Just go into any audio community and ask there if you want to, but there aren't a lot of good headphones under 100. You have the Phillips SHP9500 that some people like, and you have the KOSS ones. I own a KPH40 and they're far worse than every IEM I own (from the $20 Tin T2 to my main Truthear Nova. EDIT: look, here is crinacle saying the same a year ago, "under a $100, look into chi-fi https://youtu.be/kQOHx1nSc50 @ 7:25" this has been the recommendation for a few years already (at least I remember it back when Blon03 where being recommended as the cheapest option). For a while, IEMs have been by far the best under $100, and also a good option up to $300
