Tripowin - Olina SE (Special Edition 2022)

Just curious you mentioned HBB I've his collaboration with Tripowin ( olina se) and they are still sharp and fatigue for me. May this be because of fit or they really can be a bit a bit too aggressive?

Gotcha ill think of eq or different ear tips. May even consider new iems with deeper seal as i have bright headphones and it's fine for me but Olina is just too harsh and loose on details in comlex tracks.

Is this for basic or SE version. I may bravely call em Olina but i have Olina SE

Olina SE seems to have aggressive boost at 3khz may this be reason?

First one was KZ of some sort bought them just to know if Im alright with iem in general they were cheap and bassy but stayed in ear greatly so I put the trigger and bought Tripowin Olina SE there's hard long story with them in short they don't fit in my ears well and when i finally got em to fit I didn't quite liked the tuning it's very technical and precise natural etc but I wasn't very excited listening to them probably because at the time they fitted my ears well I've already got kiwi ears quartet and well in short they are big clean and massive sounding very heavy feel from sound which isn't even in comparison to Olina i enjoy quartet a lot but I still think they aren't really for me in terms of tuning although they fit nicely. Also if that counts i listened to fiio fh7s in audio store they were great just nice sounding iem nothing more nothing less detailed and didn't bother at all while being exciting with very big soundstage compared to Olina and probably bigger than kiwi ears. That's all with iems for now but just today ordered CVJ Vivian will be my first cheap iem that I'll hopefully listen more than 10 min which was literally all my experience with kz something. ( Couldn't resist cute anime girl at the same time neko is more expensive and tbf I'm not a big fan of how they turned out ( way too bright silver and pink is slightly too much+ Vivian character is more interesting imo) but I suppose they sound better. ( Olina still as first proper iem gave me much more details and nuances in sound than my only headphones at the time AKG k361 cant say about soundstage but compared to my tws it's about the same with more depth from Olina ) In general my first headphone experience was much bigger step from Bluetooth audio compared to first IEMs they were different but not to the same extent.

Yes, that could have been the case. I heard them at an audio event and compared to all the other earphones (even budget ones), they felt wierd. But I only spend a short time with them so there is that. I've found that soundstage and dynamics are very important for me and the Midbass-Uppermids level determines that for my ear anatomy. So even very cheap earphones like Wan'er and QKZ HBB sound good due to their soundstage. While Kefine Klean feels very one dimensional and lacks dynamics (contrary to what everyone else says). Olina SE, EA500LM and Supermix 4 are all great in these aspects (but they have their own issues).

I want that cable lol. I don’t need any more single dd iems though. Tanchjim origin, dunu falcon ultra, fiio fd15, ea500lm, tripowin Olina se and kz zenith have been great for me. Everyone is sleeping on that fiio, imo I like it more than origin.

Tripowin olina (modded) and SE version, there out of production. The timbre and harmonics on this set are unreal. It perfectly does vocals with fantastic air and treble extension. Extremely organic sounding, and the bass is tight and full without being muddied or overlapping. The driver quality is exceptional, bass has a expansive feel and pressure thats almost like chewing gum, its strechy and full of depth. It practically mold itself into many genres.

I got a weird smell on my first even Chi-fi IEM's shipped from Aliexpress back in 2022, BTW, they both arrived fully assembled: Tripowin x HBB Olina, and x Tripowin HBB Mele. Never got the particular smell again. They still both work just fine but I replaced their cables with Xinhs ones.
