"For the very reduced price the Vivace goes for, and the more than decent assortment of accessories it has, this set is a no-brainer for anyone looking for an “allrounder” kind of set without breaking the bank. ... is a very safe pick that, at least for now, is my personal favorite under $30 to recommend if anyone is looking for something that is easy to love while blasting some music."

"being cheaper ... a great buy ... probably the best value for money"

"It's just such a relaxing IEM. It's not too much, it's not too little. It's so safe and while it doesn't do anything special, it also doesn't do anything wrong. ... I love the Vivace, for 30 dollars you're getting sound quality that rivals 100 dollar earbuds (I'm looking at you, airpods). ... I think anybody who tries these will enjoy them to some degree, because they are so inoffensive and versatile. ... 0dibi tuned these perfectly, its exactly what I like and exactly what I'll be looking for in the future."

"The best cheaper allrounder starting point under $30 and arguably the best gaming pick under $50. ... is your safe bet for gaming, and works fine for music too. ... with and edge technical performance for gaming ... if you can get the Vivace, that would be a bit better than Zero 2 for Gaming ... best compromise between gaming and music."

"Tripowin Vivace $30 is all you need ... but they both fall behind Vivace in gaming ... edit:/ also worse than Vivace in gaming ... for gaming they are below Vivace"

"Vivace or EM6L which are perfectly good. ... Looping the same gaming recordings with the first ones I struggle hearing directions that already know in advance while with the others it's obvious."

"My second favorite thing about these is the treble. ... There is ZERO sibilance. ... I am a very treble sensitive person, and I was very surprised to find zero sibilance or shoutiness on these. ... Compared to my previous IEMs, the Chu 2, these are WAY less shouty. ... For example, a track that I found was stabbing my ears a bit too much on the Chu 2 was 20 Min by Lil Uzi Vert. The kick after the 808s was so fatiguing and annoying. It was literally "BOOM BOOM **STAB**" over and over again, and when I listened to the same song with the Vivace, I was actually bracing for the stab and it never came! ... And because the treble is so smooth and relaxed and not shouty, it kind of makes the vocals pop out a lot more, because I'm not being interrupted by the sound of attempted murder on my eardrums. ... The treble being so smooth makes the listening experience a lot more relaxing."

"The detail retrieval on these is easily above average without abusing on treble"

"is not prone to that harsh problem that some people find"

5

2

"They are very comfortable, no complaints. ... No fit issues, and after 3 days of more than 4 hours of listening each day, I have had 0 pain or discomfort. ... They are also very stable in the ear and don't fall out."

"you would be able to rock for long-ish sessions without problems"

"and with a lot more comfortable nozzle size."

"The bass is probably my favorite thing about these. ... But if you're like me and you just want something balanced with a bass that has presence and punch, then this is that. ... The bass isn't boomy and overpowers everything, it's so relaxing, the mid-bass hits, you don't just hear it but you feel it. ... The sub-bass has a very good rumble and it's clean, you can clearly feel it shake, you can hear it die down. ... It's controlled, it doesn't go on for too long and when the song demands some shaking, the Vivace will make sure you get shaken by that bass. ... For example, in leather jacket by Ken Carson, it has this beat that sounds and almost feels like it wants to tickle your brain and that's exactly what I wanted and that's exactly what I got. ... The bass is very satisfying on these IEMs, so much so that when I went to EQ the bass I didn't increase it by as much as I thought I would."

"Ohk I like bass so it's good for me"

"the extra bass of vivace over Waner would help with hip-hop."

"unfortunately the accessories with it are shit"

"Eartips are "meh". ... they don't fit my ears very well or feel the best compared to something like my Spinfit W1. ... You may like the stock tips, I didn't."

"u might need to change the tips if u have fit issues, further increasing the price."

"I just got this cable cause the vivace doesnt come with one"

"No case, which is kind of a let-down since there are cheaper IEMs that do bring a carrying case or at least a pouch."

1

5

"unfortunately the accessories with it are shit"

"The cable is okay. It has a little bit of a rubbery feel, it's braided kind of weird, I don't really like it, it's a little bit stiff ... I say... it's tolerable, but if you have the budget I'd definitely buy a replacement cable. ... The cable isn't horrible, but I'd replace it if you can."

"And something the graph doesn't tell you, better building, better stock cable and accesories, two tuning nozzles."

I have 10-ish different models in the 10€ to 150€ range, mostly for PUBG and about 3000 hours in the game. Here are my top picks: - Tripowin Vivace 35€ - Simgot EM6L 120€ - Truthear Crinacle Zero blue 60€ (need AMP&DAC) - QKZ x HBB 20€ In that order. For other games, the Simgot and Crinacle Zero jump higher. The next ones can do, but not competitive: - Moondrop Quarks DSP 15€ - 7Hz Salnotes Zero 25€ - Apple earpods 3.5mm 20€ - KZ Zex Pro Crn 40€ Can't recommend for PUBG: - Moondrop Chu 25€ - Brainwavz Omega 15€ I recommend checking Fresh Reviews on Youtube, he checked many pricier models...

i'd consider kz am16 balanced. high value set, nicely detailed and technical set nice for pinpointing footsets but has a nice amount of bass for immersive games and your music genres which tend to like some bass boost if those are out of budget tripowin vivace are a nice set for fps and should do everything else pretty well too

Nice review. I found the Vivace to be an enjoyable IEM in particular for its details. My only nitpick is that there is a bit too much more sub bass than bass. Yet this is a problem only with some tracks.

Hey man, curious between the Zero 2 and the EW300, would the EW300 be a good upgrade if I liked the tuning on the Zero 2? Looking for something natural yet with good tonality and clarity (not too warm). I tried the Vivace recently and it actually sounded a touch warmer than the Zero 2 which I didn't care for.

my first were moondrop chu 2. loved them to bits, but if i had to i wouldn’t get it again purely because of the moisture issue with the filters (i live in a high-humidity area) more recently got a tripowin vivace and am really liking it so far, so much so that i didn’t bother to autoeq or just even eq it in any way, because it sounded pretty much perfect to me stock

7Hz G1 for gaming, the elevated treble region helps with details when gaming. It is basically the Zero2 without the dark treble. Vivace is good for music, i dont think it has the positional detail extraction for gaming in the way the G1 does. Same is true of the QKZ x HBB, good for music, not exactly a detail extraction IEM.

Under $100 for Valorant, Kefine Delci AE. End of discussion. If you want to go for a budget option, check out the Tripowin Vivace. Very similar tuning tonality to the Delci, but not nearly as high quality a driver. Cables are purely for aesthetic purposes. There are some absolute dog shit cables out there on super cheap sets, that, yeah, replace those, because they are uncomfortable, and pick up a lot of static. But i dont have any problems with the cables on the Vivace or the Delci, and there is no real need to replace them. Its just bling, or comfort. So, unless you REALLY hate the stock cable, its not necessary, unless you need/want a different connection type.

Which one is better is going to be totally subjective. But, everyone can agree on Vivace being better in gaming. For me, Cadenza is the sweet spot. For music, I love the warm tonality of it. The bass can be felt but it's not boomy or punchy; it's subtle. For my ears, it lacks the excitement, so I just EQ'ed it. Now, it's very natural and fun. https://preview.redd.it/tjfxtqggrhke1.png?width=2400&format=png&auto=webp&s=4afdb3d6deb00a2c5ffc01c01597fa260cdfb2c5

All the three IEMs are somewhat specialized or niche in my opinion. None of these does something exceptionally well in everything. But, if you are talking about versatile IEMs then the list goes like this: Moondrop Chu 2> Castor Pro > Wan'er If your priority is Bass and fun sounding IEM that is good for gaming and music: Castor Pro> Chu 2 > Wan'er Castor Pro is good if you want a fun V-shaped sound. Why you don't get many reviews of it mostly because reviewers do not like KZ or the sound signature it offers. So, if you want insight of Castor Pro, you have to look for user reviews. Or check the review of ToneDeafMonk's Castor Bass. Castor Pro is an upgrade and fixes the things that Castor Bass had. If your priority is vocals and smooth treble: Wan'er outshines everything in this price range. Additionally, there's Tripowin Vivace if you want something that is versatile and good for gaming in that price range.

The Tripowin Vivace is getting praise in that price range specifically for gaming. Otherwise, look into the KBEar KB01 or KB02. The 02 is an acquired taste due to the nature of the bone conduction drivers for the bass and their resonance, but they are pretty good for gaming (I own both) You can buy a cable with an in-line mic for about $10, as well.

The Wyvern's mids are aggressive, and has a great amount of sub bass. I'm a mid-head. I love clean, clear, accurate mids. These are just a bit of all three but at the price point, I can't complain. Divinus Wides and the mids get *real* aggressive. Melodic death metal guitar work... hell, any distorted guitar just pops. So do electronic synths that are meant to bite and dig. Energetic treble without being harsh or piercing. The 7Hz Zero2 are, I feel, a more universal recommendation in terms of signature. V-shaped enough to capture a TWS enjoyer, but not so sucked out that the mids feel like an afterthought. It's a minor revelation to the beginner hobbyist while also being a pretty well performing unit at its price and beyond. The Tripowin Vivace is worth considering. One of my favorites, the KBEar KB01, is a no-brainer.

It looks like You had almost the same journey as me. I've also been loving various genres mainly EDM, and playing games a lot, and I used SteelSeries Arctis Nova7 before using IEMs. 2 Months ago, I made my choice, blind buying Mangird Tea Pro from Ali and I just fell in love in it. I still like my previous IEMs(Delci, EW300, NX7 Mk4, Vivace), but Tea Pro feels just way too good in both music and gaming. However, I highly recommend you to try it offline or check the return policy. Their shape is very unique and it might be awkward, the fit is perfect for me though. Anyway, Good for you enjoying music ! Good luck and have fun : )

Not entirely sure, but some otherwise good IEMs are just bad for distinguishing direction. Channel matching is certainly one thing, but rarely big enough to be the reason. Not just tuning either it seems. IEMs like B2 Dusk, Timeless and Performer 5 if I remember correctly were rather bad for gaming compared to Zero Red, Vivace or EM6L which are perfectly good. Looping the same gaming recordings with the first ones I struggle hearing directions that already know in advance while with the others it's obvious.

Oh man, for the price: the CCA trio, Kefine Klean, KZ Vader Balanced and HighRes, TRN V90 pro,Tripowin Vivace, Artti T10, KZ Zenith, gaming and audiophile beasts. (personally I'm more inclined to the Klean, the Zenith and the T10) The CCA trio and the Vader Balanced are similarly tuned, but both are one of the best iems under 30 usd. The Klean have a hidden trick who is you can do a subtle mod on it for improving the bass and tuning overall (stock is still so good), is one of my go to sets in the market, excellent tuning and a soundstage and imaging, and macro and microdetails retrieval delight. KZ Vader HighRes, this is 90% the CCA Hydro, but is a hungry boy who craves good sources. Tripowin Vivace, this is an excellent tuned iem, well priced and a gaming powerhouse. TRN V90 pro, they put all the effort in the iem itself but TRN don't disappoint: Nice stock cable, good included eartips (the trn t eartips are one of my favorite eartips ever, period. Lol), and the tuning is an upgrade to the ST7 because is a fix of the flaws of the other iem. Artti T10, is the best planar iem for 50 usd or less, is bassy, balanced, an all-rounder set to enjoy music and a gaming beast. KZ Zenith, is the best DD iem of KZ, with high praise from various reviewers, HBB and Paul Wasabii included.

I'm in the exact same situation as you and the Vivace are really, really good, they rival if not sound better than my £150 HyperX cloud mix headset on console. I was shocked at how good they sound giving the price. I am currently trying to find a more "quality/expensive" iem for gaming on console but its a hard task as many expensive iems have multiple drivers and have very low impedance and high sensitivity that they will make static hiss noise when no audio is being played

Yes, worth it. 1. They don't heat ur ears 2. Most parts of it are modular and cheap to replace, cables, eartips etc are widely + cheaply available, so pad and mic issues don't affect you. A normal earphone replace pad is 600-1k atleast vs an eartip probably 200 to 400. Cables cost anywhere from 400-2k depending upon features. 3. Physically, IEMs are modular and designed to go over the ears, unlike regular earphones, reducing ear strain on the ear (ear-hole?). Performance-wise, the IEM market is far more competitive, with thousands of reviewers and measurement rigs providing frequency graphs. Additionally, manufacturers focus on IEMs as dedicated music devices rather than just convenience products, leading to a different design philosophy. The best IEM that can be used for longer gaming session with a very good bass response would be the Truthear x Crinacle Zero (Blue) as the other commenter noted. It doesn't have a mic so an upgrade cable with boom mic like the QKZ Q7 Max would be great. But since u had mentioned there that it was a bit over budget I'd recommend the Tripowin x 0diBi Vivace. It is better than the Truthear Zero Blue but doesn't have the same subwoofer-like bass quality but performs better at games while being cheaper. It's also a bit sharper sounding than the TxC 0 I [had made a list](https://www.reddit.com/r/MayankJ/s/zKEU3h48vW) a month ago related to gaming IEMs you can chk that out too if u want some other reccs. But imo Vivace is a great buy and probably the best value for money.

An older IEM called the QKZ x HBB would be better than the above selection although might not be available. I would rank KZ Castor /Pro (the silver one) top from the 3 At a slightly higher price, Tripowin x 0diBi Vivace would be way better than the above. But if budget is a concern stick to the above, as u might need to change the tips if u have fit issues, further increasing the price.

Chu 2 are very bad for gaming. I've never heard a serious person recc chu 2 especially for FPS games. Chu 2 arent good imo, bad cables, questionable build quality and bad imaging. Both tangzu waner and chu 2 are some of the worst for gaming, i think people who are recommending these have probably never tried multiple iems side by side. If u are playing some easy to track game, like CS2, valorant or something else with good staging then it will work ok but tougher games like Apex etc would give startled cat moments. I'd strongly suggest looking at these (ranked best to worse) * kefine delci ae * tripowin 0dibi vivace * truthear zero blue * kz castor harman (silver)/pro * qkz x hbb some channels like Fresh Reviews might be able to help u: [https://www.youtube.com/@FreshReviewsYT](https://www.youtube.com/@FreshReviewsYT)

because u have bad iems? sry to be the "you are gonna say that I need to access the next level of IEMs to understand" hypebeast and dont want to shit on something like the Chu or Zero OG, coz they shaped the budget category what it is today but the iem industry moves so fast these have become obsolete. >!From what u have, I also have tried are Zero OG and QKZxHBB, both are my favs, but not for gaming. TxC 0 is my EDM and movie king, which has better than average gaming performance, especially when u consider the tuning is so rumbly. TBH even Crin wasn't able to copy (gaming wise)whatever he did on the OG set to the sequel.!<>!QKZ HBB is such a lovely budget HBB tuning, when it launched the ultra budget category was filled with kz treble trashfest, honestly never got into iems before due to the bright/"audiophile" tuning. Even today's meta tuning is slipping towards the bass boost n its good to see the change. Random adhd symptoms aside, I had mentioned to FreshReviews too that the QKZ HBB sounds way too wide compared to most IEMs so much so it comes off as inaccurate, paired with the bass which makes it too fuzzy for bad games \[by bad I mean bad boomy sound design, ex Apex and Val, works perfectly on CSGO, I have no idea about BO6 but I've heard it is not the best optimised sound\]!< I'd say you should sell all but one iem. Or gift them to sm1 if u don't like selling. Then go for the ultra cheap, Tripowin Vivace -->and later on upgrade to the Ziigaat Lush or whatever the current hotcake is.

Oh yeah KZ eartips and wires are prolly some of the worst I've seen. KZ uses a better cable on its flagship, everything else gets cheap stuff on it, I think it comes with that grooved C shaped tip, those never fit me. If ur fit is the Dunu SS then I guess the T x C 0 would've been an okay fit too, it's a hybrid between a D & a C shaped eartip. Also since u know about the Arete then I guess u know about Fresh Reviews, he came out with a review of Kiwi Ears Astral and ranked it similar to Tea Pro, preferring Astral due to price and music, both seem to be the bang for buck choice rn. Wait till November when they have the 11/11 sale, ull get discounts and maybe something new pops up, IEMs launch every 2 weeks so there's a high chance something gets rave reviews But I gotta say, Vivace is one of the most VFM purchase u could do if u wanted to, I mean since the ZS10 is working for u, I'd say let it be but I kinda think the Vivace is even better than the EM6L especially in Val and Apex. Also with EM6L having QC issues - Vivace seems like a no brainer due to that. But if u sell other stuff then get the Kefine Delci AE.

your memes accurate, you'll lose positional audio cues etc in games, u should reconsider this interesting quirk. Anyways try the Tanchjim Zero Ultima DSP, it's probably good enough for CS2 or Val, not that great in BR's like Apex compared to something like the Kefine Klean or Tripowin Vivace. Everything I've said here applies to the Zero Ultima DSP too: https://www.reddit.com/r/HeadphoneAdviceIndia/s/lDT0EpYOyr

ok great, my question was related to it's app. Basically if u don't like the default tuning (which is close to JM1 or meta tuning) you can change it via presets or make ur own tuning. That tuning gets saved on the cable of the IEMs (hence my recc for DSP) That app is only available on type C DSP versions and that preset thingy works only on Android (iOS doesn't allow changing EQ thru that app). You'll just need it when you wanna change not always so it's not important. If you don't have any major issues with iems then I'd again recc u to get something like the Kefine Klean or if u have more budget, Ziigaat Lush, Kiwi Ears Astral etc

Sorry op i am late =_= I made an iem tier list for india out of Fresh's list ik this is late but all the people who gave u reccs are wrong(except that 1 recc for T xC 0). The best IEMs under 5k would be the Tripowin Vivace or the Truthear Crinacle Zero (Blue 1/OG) The Vivace honestly sounds better than the Hyper X Cloud 2 for gaming. Cable length wouldn't matter as such because u can buy an extender or replace the cable for something longer, since IEMs are modular it's easy to do. But the Vivace and with whatever money u are left get a seperate mic, I know it's cumbersome but the quality and versatility u get from like a usb mic is way better than most headphones with inbuilt mic List: https://www.reddit.com/r/MayankJ/s/Sy2Ng19cU3

Agree with the other comment, Truthear x Crinacle Zero (Blue/OG not the blue 2) if u want a bassy set. The cheapest would be the Tripowon Vivace and a good budget set would be the Kefine Delci AE (normal isn't as good according to reviews, AE is better) In terms of gaming performance n price: 1. Kefine Delci AE (V shape) 2. Truthear x Crinacle Zero (Bassy/U) 3. Tripowin Vivace (V shape)

Future arc enjoyer but heavy IEM/Headphone enjoyer. I have multiple in different price brackets but can confirm for gaming purposes you can get away with something as cheap as the tripowin vivace $30, truthear zero blue $50, kefine klean $50 or kefine delci ae $70. Personal favorite is the kefine delci ae since it has a CNC metal shell. If you are plugging them into the controller directly and need a mic, there is the tripowin zombur 0.78 pin cable wich comes with a mic for $10. Some IEMs do come with standard mic cables tough. Eartips matter alot and some of my recs would be spinfit w1, tangzu sancai or dunu s&s all available for around $10-15. If you are going to use them on anything else i would recommend a usb-c dongle dac with a CS31993 chip in it, they are available for as cheap as $10. Apple usb-c dongle(US version) also is sufficient. Feel free to ask questions, GL!

A little late but if you haven’t decided on a pair the Linsoul Tripowin x 0DiBi: Vivace are a really great budget option. I was like you switching from a pair of Astro a50x’s. They’re right around 30usd if you don’t like the change it’s not a big wallet hit but. I mainly play valorant apex and rivals recently and these check all the boxes for me.

EM6L have no competition in their price range. I have them and they are truly impressive for gaming and great for anything else. But for under 24$? I honestly don't know and would not recommend anything for gaming for that price. The only option would be Tripowin Vivace for around 29$ or a bit less on sale, but they have no mic option AFAIK.

Tripowin Vivace is the best option at that price range for gaming. But it doesn’t come with mic. I am not sure what to recommend with mic because those mics are all usually pretty mediocre or just bad. Maybe Wan’er SG 2, Zero 2 or Chu 2 DSP.

Cadenza has this particular problem that some people (me included) find the lower treble too harsh for some reason, Vivace is quite similar but it has a better fit than cadenza because of an smaller nozzle and is not prone to that harsh problem that some people find, cadenza is not bad, but specially for gaming, i really would recomend vivace instead.

Cadenza is good all things consider, but for $5 less Vivace is essentially the same build quality wise (despite what people want to believe because of driver, etc, materials used alone arent the only thing that marks how well build something is), and is way safer. I often recomend iems here and, fortunately, i have yet to get any complaint about Vivace once given the recomendation (and believe me, people will came back if they dont like what they get), now, is it perfect? well no, people can like different stuff, is just that is hard to hate vivace when does everything just correct.

The Fresh Reviews system gives letter grades where “S” is the best grade, going down from S-A to C+, where C+ means that they are the minimum for video games. I will mark the IEMs by putting the score besides the name: "( FRS: “Mark obtained”)" (FRS = Fresh Reviews Score), example: Zero Red (FRS: C+), if you don't see this mark, it means that Fresh Reviews did not consider it for gaming, or didnt review the product. /---------------- **So, lets continue with part 1:** Some people might identify me already, I’m one of the redditors in this sub that’s usually giving recs and trying to help people left and right, things doesn’t always work, but I hope that I’m being of some help. So yeah, I finally gathered the will to do a proper post about this, I’ll try to pour everything I know after around 4 years of checking reviews and trying around more than 27 different iems (mostly under $100).   ***BTW, IF YOU SEE SOME GLARING ERROR, ANYTHING THAT JUST DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT, PLEASE LET MY KNOW, IM DISLEXIC TOO, SO YEAH XD, THANKS FOR THE FUTURE HELP.*** \----- # CONTENTS: Part 1: * Where to buy? * List of mostly recommended iems under $50. * Reviewers List. Part 2: * FACs (Frequently Asked Concerns lol – I recommend you to read this one first if you are a newbie). * Final extra details. Now, remember that I’m just another person, I have preferences and some degree of bias towards some sets, especially ones that I own, my intention is not to tell you “You should pick this”, but rather to point you out to a clearer direction as to what you might like or need. This info is not “absolute” as preferences and music library plays a huge role on the experience, but at least I hope I can make this decision less complicated for you. \----- # Where to buy? So, first, I don’t know what store you are planning to use but most common recs for buying are: * Mostly free shipping Stores: Shenzhen Audio, Amazon, and alsoAliExpress, but with ali, you need to pick the seller carefully, I have got 3 iems and some cables from there without any problems, but it isn’t as safe as Amazon and Shenzhen could be. * \- * They usually charge shipping Stores: Hifigo, Linsoul. I would recommend the free shipping Stores better since, besides free shipping, I have had less problems with them (in my very personal experience) and they usually do as much as possible to help their clients, however, this doesn’t mean that you can’t have problems with each store, sometimes life sucks and online stores do too, so always be careful when ordering online, specially check sellers on AliExpress Also, when buying, remember that if you wish to have a cable that comes with a mic, since IEMs don’t always come with one, especially around $50 and above, you need to specially pick the option of having a cable with mic when selecting the IEM for purchase if the options is given. \----- # Usually recommended IEMs under $50 If you don’t feel like reading or you have some IEM experience, skip or ignore the “FACs” part, HOWEVER, if you are new to this hobby, I recommend you to check that first, it could help clear your mind about a lot of questions you might have. ***The price in brackets is the original base price of the IEMs.*** ***Purchase links disclaimer:*** The links included are affiliate links, but make sure to check vendor reviews when you make any AliExpress purchases. The links have no influence on which IEMs are recommended or picked for the list.   # ----- # BASSY IEMS IEMs that their key point Is the lower end of sound, more Rumble and/or bass punch/kick, if you want some good bass, check this one, there will be iems from bass heavy to balanced, but overall, picks that have an elevated bass area, even if that also comes with some extra treble. * **($16) KZ Castor Bass enhanced edition (Black colored):** An IEM with a heavy, but still somewhat clean, punchy and rumbly bass, that can have the amount of bass and treble adjusted with switches, can have some more treble energy than QKZxHBB, but bass is very prominent, so vocals do get a bit overshadowed and might feel lacking intensity, recommended mostly for electronic music or bass heavy genres like hip-hop or R&B, not really recommended for vocal centric music genres like rock or ballads, Works for gaming, but bass might be too distracting. Nozzle is on the larger side. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mt6hFPl) * \- * **($17) KZ Castor Pro:** A small upgrade to the Castor bass OG, a bit more Rumble, a bit less punch, it is overall better than the OG Castor, but also comes with a larger nozzle. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKmDf4B) * \- * **($20) QKZxHBB (FRS: B-):** A lot of rumbly bass with decent vocals, altough it can sound muddy for some at fist, is mostly for those who really like a lot of inmersive bass but also still want enough vocal and treble detail. Works for gaming. Nozzle slightly on the larger side. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_msetV8R) * \- * **($50) Truthear Zero (blue) (FRS: B-):** They are actually balanced sounding, bass, vocals and treble all are very energetic, but this IEM was made to have very clean bass, like a mini “subwoofer” effect, and that’s the main focus of It, although their nozzles (the part of the iem that goes into your ear canal) are some of the biggest on the market, if you happen to have small ear canals, or you are looking for comfort, they could hurt or not fit well when using them (the biggest nozzle from this list). Usually recommended over the Zero Red for gaming, from the less bassy picks in the bassy section. You should consider using a dongle DAC if the sound is too quiet with them. If you happend to have fitting problems, check the Spinfit CP155 eartips, could help a lot, but those tips get streched kinda easy and can fall out of the nozzle, so do take in mind. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOGUNun) * \- * **($24-34) BLON BL03:** Great hard hitting bassy IEM, a lot of Energy and intensity with enough intense treble, biggest downside Is that Fit might not be great thanks to their particular shape and short reaching nozzle (the nozzle might not be large enough to enter properly into your ear canal), the nozzle itself is on the smaller side. Not a bad pick, works for gaming, but a bit outdated. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqDowxp) * \- * **($50) CCA Rhapsody:** THE Castor bass upgrade, better techs, some more clarity, all in all, a great bassy package for the price, but shell is VERY large and nozzle not so smaller, so, if you have small ears, then maybe this is not the best pick, nozzle size is in a middle ground. Works for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMQ1ytz) * \- * **($35) BLON Z300:** A very specific pick since they are just somewhat bassy, they could sound balanced for bassheads, and muddy for non-bassheads, the bass works better with well produced/mixed files, for poor quality tracks they might lack punch, they are decent for vocals, but might feel a bit on the background. They are decent for an inmerssive bassy sound, and have pretty good resolution and detail, also, sound direction is good, if you like ASMR, those are good bot a bassy relaxed replay on a budget. Should work for gaming, nozzle is pretty small, should have a comfy fit. If you want clarity and cleaness is not the best option. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mrDU1eF) * \- * **($50) Blon JOJO:** this one is like a more bassy, aggressive QKZxHBB, techs are just decent for $50, but because of its quantity of bass, aren’t the best for clarity or detail. Might work for gaming, not really recommended, best for bassy music genres. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOT3o83) * \- * **($37) CCA Trio:** This ones comes like a small upgrade from the Castor Bass, if you feel that Castor bass would be too intense, might as well go for this one, this is more of a bassy V-shaped or balanced set, but with the ability to increase the bass or treble just like the castor. should work for gaming. Vader Balanced is a good alternative if you find it cheaper. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mPAIXdp) * \- * **($31) KZ Vader Balanced:** Energetic bassy V-shape-ish sound with a less "Harman-style" approach (less obvious clean-cut bass, some warmness on vocals), so it has a bit more body, but not that much, mostly a bit less V-shaped CCA trio, a good alternative to it. Decent techs for the price, get whichever is cheaper. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m05R5aF) * \- * **($50) INAWAKEN Dawn Ms:** Warm, rumbly, a bit thick, bassy V-shaped iem, could feel slightly less technical than other iems, but clean-ish sound still, relaxed upper treble but a bit foward lower treble (shoutiness warning), warm-ish vocals, pretty good bass performance. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKp2ac3) * \- * **($25) Tachjim One (has DSP/Type-C option too):** A bullet style earphone that has a focus on Mid bass over sub bass, it’s somewhat V-shaped and energetic, a bit foward on the lower treble, and it has a bass that should work better for rock genres since it gives energy to drums without making the sound way too bassy. Could work for gaming, but being this mid-bass centric, wouldn’t recommend It. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mPULWWP) * \- * **($22) Tanchjim Tanya (DSP):** Another bullet style, the only reason I’m mentioning only the DSP version (Type-C cable connection) is because this one would pack a very good amount of bass, while keeping it reasonably clean, slightly better than Castor bass in that specific regard, but keeping an affordable price over other picks like Trio or Zero Blue. Could work for gaming, still similar problem to Castor. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKWofm3) # -- # BALANCED IEMS Section for more balanced and somewhat neutral IEMs: (For clarification on what’s “neutral” and what’s “balanced” please check the FACs) * **($19) Tangzu Waner:** a slightly rumbly IEM that has a lot of vocal qualities, with a close-to-neutral and pretty balanced sound, great for long listening sessions, not great for directional sound/gaming in my personal experience. A very versatile starter pick, but bass area can come as a slightly muddy at first, so, better for people that like some bass presence and nice body on male vocals. Nozzle size is in between, not too big, not too small. As a side note, some people say they work for gaming, i dont find them particularly good for that versus other options, your call. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0Z0EQr) * \- * **($30) Tripowin Vivace (FRS: B-):** A nice slighlty bass leaning iem that has good technicalities for the price, almost performing above its price range, a very safe sound overall, on of the safest sounds on to pick from the list. The best cheaper allrounder starting point under $30 and arguably the best gaming pick under $50. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKx3o0L) * \- * **($38-44) Sgor Luna:** While it’s a planar, it doesn’t exactly compete with other planars around this price, however, it’s a very cheap good option to try a planar driver, plus you can pick them bundled with a dongle dac which should take care of your amplification needs. As far as technical performance goes it is decent for its price range (which is around $40) but the best part is that it is like a less intense Simgot ew200, it might have an edge over them technically speaking, but the tuning of the luna doesn’t make it too obvious. It has a better bass quality and presence, making it a pretty decent and very safe pick for the price, as long as you use a dongle with them OR a DAP with decent amplfication on the 3.5mm conection. *PROBABLY THE SAFEST PICK AROUND $50.* Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKynQSJ) * \- * **($19) Truthear Gate:** A correct and pretty balanced iem, similar to waner but with a tilt to female vocals and treble, also, bass might sound slightly cleaner than waner, but just a bit. Should for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0ebw6r) * \- * **($25-30) Kinera Celest Wyvern (Abyss/black, Quing, Pro) (should had a Type-C option):** the 3 verions are around the same, pick the most appealing to you. Tuning is similar to waner with a bit of more overall energy on vocals and presence on the bass, maybe a tilt to female vocals too, and slightly cleaner in the bass. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mrlZ1Ij) * \- * **($20) Simgot ew100p (There is a DSP/Type-C variant):** Another similar one to Gate and Waner, maybe an inbetween from gate and waner, but all in all, a very decent, balanced set, slightly more treble energy than other models, nothing too much. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqIAQHH) * \- * **($19) Moondrop Chu II (There is a DSP/Type-C variant):** A pretty balanced and clean IEM, detail is nice, and they are a bit more forward on the female vocals and treble than Waner, still not too intense, another great starting pick, especially for people that do want to hear some bass, but don’t want it to affect the rest of the sound much. As a heads up tho, these are especially known for having problems with humidity and moisture because of its metal shell. Works for gaming, nozzle on the smaller side, should have a comfy fit. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mK6uRmj) * \- * **($25) 7hz Salnotes Zero 2:** A more bassy leaning version of the Chu II, the second safest allrounder performer after Vivace for any kind of music genres under $30, a good gaming replacement for the Vivace too, nozzle is slightly on the larger side. This one is not on the bassy side since it has less bass than most of the other Bassy picks, around the same as the Zero Blue, but without any fancy “subwoofer” approach. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqKyRcR) * \- * **($35) Kiwiears Cadenza:** A more energetic version of the Tangzu Waner, with a more v-shaped approeach with extra sub-bass and female vocals, overall good performance if you like that energy in your music, however, bass isn’t like super strong or super punchy, is there, is nice and has some presence, but it isn’t the focus of its sound, works well for ballads or rock style music, with some extra versatility for some electronic music, not recommended for bassy music genres like hip.hop or R&B tho. Watch out for sensitivity to 4Khz peaks, vocals in general might come as shouty for some people, I wouldn’t recommend it for people looking for bass quality, as the vocal energy can get in the way for enjoying them,. Works for gaming, nozzle leans to the larger side. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0ZUrDt) * \- * **($40) Simgot EW200 (FRS: C+):** a somewhat neutral IEM that intends to be balanced but actually has a lean on the vocal an treble side of sound, so there Is more clarity and you will perceive more detail on the sound, but some people might feel that the treble can be a bit too intense, bass is there and has presence, but Is not the main focus. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0hfYft) * \- * **($55) Truthear Zero (red) (FRS: C+):** this is a bit more expensive version of the Truthear Zero blue, It has the same build quality but the sound Is a bit more balanced and less overly energetic, it works well with more music genres. The IEM comes with an adapter to increase the bass quantity to Zero Blue Levels (in stock it has less amount of bass), but It also shares the big nozzle of the blue version. Usually less recommended for gaming over the Zero Blue. Recomended to use a dongle DAC for amplification, to get te Best performance out of them. If you happend to have fitting problems, check the Spinfit CP155 eartips, could help a lot, but those tips get streched kinda easy, so do take in mind. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMrjPcX) * \- * **($50)** [Kefine Klean](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/7PVWrvBEU2)**:** A good balanced sounding set with a small bass lean, great techs for the price and a decent fit with an average size nozzle, all in all, probably on of the best picks on the list if you have $50, want the best performance and don’t know what to pick. ***I must mention that some people have encounter situations of channel imbalance with their sets, it could be the filters unscrewing or just not being properly put on on the first place, check that if you have any problems, also, be careful with humidity since its a metal shell, and if you have any actual problem, please do contact the store where you get them from for help with the issue, or the people at Kefine for direct Help*** Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_msWNk9V) * \- * **($15) Tangzu Princess ChangLe:** A mild V-shaped bullet style iem that would be pretty versatile for most music genres but technicalities like resolution, soundstage and instrument separation (check FACs if you don’t know what these means) are slightly worse than most other sub $20 options. Its price and comfort is pretty good still, a good gift option, wouldn’t recommend it for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mNZJZK7) * \- * **($10) KZ EDC Pro:** Very cheap yet good sounding iem, some less technical than its $20 peers but costing significantly less, the cheapest yet best starting point to test what iems have to offer, however don’t expect the best build quality, also, some people find the treble a bit too intense. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mrXq3FN) * \- * **($16)** [TRN Orca](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1cbec6e/trn_orca_consumer_pov_review/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) **(should had a Type-C option):** This is another pretty nice, inexpensive pick for people on a budget that doesn’t know what they like and cant spend too much money, Orca is a metal shell iem that has a kinda V-shaped tuning but with a lean on the bass, however, thanks to its 3 tuning switches, you can adjust the sound to either something kinda bassy clean like the Chu2 (switches Down Down Up – DDU), to a very V-shaped bassy tuning similar to Zero 2 (UDU) to a very bass heavy sound somewhat similar to QKZxHBB or Castor Bass (DUD - works particuarly well when amplified with a dongle dac for a somewhat "subwoofer" feel). They also gain some extra resolution when amplified with a dongle dac. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_msqEjYX) * \- * **($55) TKZK Ouranos (FRS: C+):** This one might show the similar shouty vocals than the Cadenza could have, but it is kinda the direct upgrade from them. It has a noticeable more punchy bass, but it’s very balanced with the rest of the sound, very prominent upper mids, intense in the note weight -the weight the sound hits with- and has very good techs for its price, slightly better than Truthear Blue and Red, but would recommend to get it discounted below its $55 price. Overall great if you like vocal forward leaning sound, specially female vocals, it has a bit less aggressive treble that EW200 might had. Not recommended for bassheads at all, as bass quantity will let you wanting more. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMsadP9) * \- * **($50) Tangzu YuXuanJi:** Decent techs for the price, bright leaning sound, focus on vocals and treble over bass. Around in brightness to the ew200, open back design doesn’t do much for the sound, controlled amount of decent quality bass, and fairly good technical performance. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mPz7wQn) * \- * **($30-40) TinHifi C2 OG/2025:** Very balanced sounding, enough of everything from bass to treble, good alternative to the Vivace, with a vocal focus + slightly less boosted bass. Good technicalities for the price. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKfH9Jd) * \- * **($30) Twistura D-Minor:** Somewhat V-shaped energetic set with average technicalities for the price, nice accessories that comes with a dongle dac, if you feel that it lacks bass or needs more bass try the different tuning nozzles. Basic but complete starting point pick. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mtr7wKB) * \- * **($50) Celest IgniteX Beast:** Balanced but slightly bright leaning (focus on vocal and treble) set that performs as its price point, semi-custom shell that can fit either really good or not so good depending on your ear. Decent techs for the price. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0Luh8J) * \- * **($30) TRN Conch:** This is a risky pick for the price, is better to get it on sale. The biggest upside are the accessories it comes with, is like an upgrade combo of a nice interchangeable connections cable, some decent eartips and a metal box, that comes with some extra iems included. The thing with the Conch is that it comes with interchangable nozzles, but just 1 of the 3 is useable for most people, the red nozzle, as the other 2 have a pretty forward and intense treble. The Conch has a V-shaped kind of sound, its somewhat similar to the ew200 but with more presence on the bass, which packs good punch, rumble and texture, and its also pretty clean; vocals are just fine, not that natural sounding iem, but also not bad; the treble Is energetic with some peaks of intensity, not the most refined but not super harsh, so your mileage may vary, just dont pick them if you are sensitive to treble. It works fairly well for rock genres. The nozzle is on the smaller size, however, because of the weird shape of the shell of the iem, its possible that the fit wont be the best for you, since its like a bullet style earphone, with just a cylindrical weight at the end that has very little support in the ear, so, keeping them in while moving too much could be a problem. Again, its not too bad, but it has a few “buts” to consider before buying it. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mK0gJK7) * \- * **($70) Artti T10 (and other planars):** I know the T10 stock price is around $70 bucks, but in some sales in AliExpress, and with new customer discounts, you could find it closer to $50 or even less. The main reason why I mention this one is mostly to talk about Planar iems, those are know for having good overall performance in sound and techs, but that also comes with a not so cheap price, and the need for some extra anergy from a dongle DAC to work the best. The T10 has a somewhat balanced, slightly V-shaped sound, that has just enught bass, but some people could use a bit more, overall excelent quality of sound when properly amplyfied. Build quality is also fairly good. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKBFQ47) * \- * **($50) KZ PRX:** Mild V-shaped energetic planar, technically-wise competes with its planar peers but for a reduced price, however, it needs some good amplification, you should also get a better cable, 4.4mm cable with a dongle that has the connection, if possible, would be great. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ms7AueR) # -- # BRIGHT IEMS Now for more "bright" IEMs: Bright IEMs are more focused on vocal clarity, and especially treble intensity and details of the sound, they are not for everyone since most of the time the bass Is quite controlled and don’t really have much presence. * **($23) 7hz Salnotes Zero (Originals)(There is a DSP/Type-C variant):** Pretty detailed, vocals do take the main stage while bass it’s pretty tamed, still being plenty enough for it to be musical. The most sub $20 IEM recommended pick for gaming thanks to its price, performance and clarity. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mK0Lu71) * \- * **($39) TKZK Wave:** A very technically competent pick, borderline neutral sound, with a clear yet small emphasis on treble, boosted enough for a detailed replay, the bass is clearly very reduced, but you can still hear some of it, dont expect much bass rumble. The bass might be too little for gaming. Check it out here: [Linsoul.](https://www.linsoul.com/products/tkzk-wave?srsltid=AfmBOopjxSmV08WMQvk-Rl0f6qiqRi0A-7hiIFV35tn3Q_6sqzbao6Ht) * \- * **($16) Tachjim Zero:** slightly more mid bass than the TKZK wave, slightly less overall technicalities, but in accordance with its lower price, similar focus on vocals with less treble. And, as it’s a bullet style it should be a comfy fit in your ear. Bass might be too little for gaming. Check it out here: [Linsoul.](https://www.linsoul.com/products/tanchjim-zero?srsltid=AfmBOooqEkFsn3ddSoCxeNxxA9ZhUqALVc7TAQVwn-j-wvSlP4B-8t5f) * \- * **($21) Tangzu Waner SE (Studio Edition):** A slightly brighter, but also cleaner Waner, with some more energy on vocals and treble, nothing else special other than the memory foam ear hooks in the cable that might or might not help with comfort. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMI8dSb) * \- * **($30) Ziigaat Nuo (FRS: C+):** A more bass energetic Salnotes Zero OG, the focus is on vocals and especially treble, but it doesn’t overlook the bass, has good performance for the price, but not a safe pick for people with treble sensitivity. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKr0NOF) * \- * **($40) Moondrop Lan (FRS: C+):** This could be a small upgrade from the Salnotes Zero original. A very decent build quality and technically competitive for the price, it has a nozzle on the small side just like chu 2, so should be very comfortable. The sound might have around the same to slightly less bass than the Zero OG, but, it will also have slightly better vocals than it, besides that, they are pretty similar, good if you don’t like much bass and you just enjoy a treble focused sound, but not with an overly intense replay. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mO5eyD5) * \- * **($60) 7hz Sonus (FRS: B-):** This one might be a bit out of budget but you can find it for less than $50 on a sale. Sonus Is said to have pretty good technical performance that is above its price range, however, the biggest downside it might had is that the sound could not be as "cohesive" as it should because of the dual driver implementation, that means that some parts of the sound around upper mids and treble might sound somewhat slightly separated from the lower mids and bass, most people don’t find this as a glaring problemm but you are warned. Of course, bass is reduced, but around the same as the Zero Original, this would be more like a direct upgrade, and should work well for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mrnxgiR) * \- * **($40) Tanchjim OLA:** A bit outdated for the price, but still the special pick if you want to know what “neutral” is actually supposed to sound like, pretty similar to the Wave but it has almost no noticeable Sub-bass, in favor of a very clean sound reproduction, it has some mid-bass to it but mostly for getting that specifically neutral sound, and has just enough vocals and treble intensity for the sound to be correct and very natural. This is not a pick that is recommended for daily use, but if you love vocals and clean instruments, this one is still a great choice, although technicalities might be slightly below average at this point. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_msI48If) * \- So that’s It, those are some of the best IEMs to pick for under $50, there are more that I didn’t mention and it doesn’t mean they are bad, is just that these are the most commonly known to be good and considered that most people would probably enjoy. Also, there aren’t many KZ or CCA options here because there are already some better options for similar tunings. Besides, KZ and CCA accesories and quality control is not from the best, and they have had other problems in the past like possible silent revisions of iems (changing drivers or tunings without prior notice) so they dont give me enough trust to recommend them so easily. Any question just Let me know. Notice that I do own or have owned some of the IEMs mentioned, but most of these recs are made by checking and comparing various Reviews from different sources. # -- # Reviewers List The purpose of this is so you can check the opinion of various people that had already checked a good bunch of other iems so you can have a wider perspective of what you might deal with, don’t take the word of just 1 or 2 unless you are sure they share your exact taste in audio, ideally use them just as a reference, compare any already owned iems with their opinions to see where their preferences stand in relation to yours, DO NOT trust only one opinion just because you like it better or the reviewer just sounds more knowledgeable. * HBB (YT Is called: bad guy good audio Reviews).\* * Paul Wasabi.\* * Super Reviews.\* * Jays audio. * Audio-in Reviews.\* * Gizaudio (Channel now run by ATechReviews - New Channel TimTuned). * WhatsNew. * SuperChonk.\* * Audio Amigo.\* * AndyAudioVault. * Acho Reviews. * Tone Deaf Monk. * Prime Audio Reviews. * Akros. * Ian Fann. * Hobby Talk. * Vortex Reviews. * AV Atmos. * Joyces Reviews. * Lumerion. * Honest Audiophile (I find him to be very biased by his own taste in sound, but it’s good to have every single second opinion in this case). * Joshua Valour (More headphones but still) * Kenneth Tanaka (this Is More for TWS/Blueetooth earphones) * Dan's audio Review (mostly for IEM sound comparation).\* \--- * *And please, do not take Sharur seriously, he Is trolling most of the time.* The names marked with a “ \* “ are the ones that are mostly well known and somewhat generally respected by the community and I. both seem to have quite good bass, but Vivace is a bit more bassy while kinera is more balanced, having some extra energy on vocals, it will likely feel a bit more clean, but also can feel a bit too intense for gaming, Vivace is just a bit more relaxed and safer overall, besides good for gaming, Kinera is pretty good for music and vocals, but not that recomended for gaming.

If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) There you can check the "gaming update" to scroll ans choose, but my usual recomendation, that you should be able to find on AliExpress, is the Tripowin vivace, but if thats not an option, the Salnotes Zero 2 is a good second option.

the usual recs at that budget are: Tripowin Vivace if: you want a comfortable fit, you want a balanced, quite safe sound, and you just want a decent, allrounder set. 7hz G1 if: you care most about gaming performance on a budget, if you like an energetic sound presentation, and in general, if you dont mind some treble energy in order to get more detail perception.

you can use it, but it honestly is not the best option for gaming, if you care about amplification or sounds quality, most iems around $30 or less would be fine for it, but if you plan on do some gaming, other options could be better like QKZxHBb if you like bassy sound, Salnotes Zero 2 for a something overall pretty good sounding for music and nice for gaming, if you can do the strech, at around $30 bucks, the tripowin vivace would ensure a better comfort than Zero 2 and is really well liked around here for gaming.

if you can go for Vivace, is still my better pick here. The reason i usually dont recomend Waner for anything gaming related is because in my experience, it does struggle a bit with sound direction, so even for casual gaming it could feel not great. As for your music, both would do about fine (vivace and Waner) but the extra bass of vivace over Waner would help with hip-hop. ps: there is no really "better/best" iem, is about sound preferences.

both should be fine but bass can get distractive if its too much, QKZxHBB has quite some amount of bass, not sure if its going to feel like too much for you tho, but in any case, the vivace would likely be safer sound-wise.

For me Vivace has everything you need as a safe* pick. Hard to hate, but also is not super impressive on anything. You want decent vocals with some body, a decently punchy and rumbly bass, and detialed treble? Vivace works just fine, probably the biggest downside it has is that it doesnt work all that great with very low quality/poorly produced tracks as others do.

# Overview The Tripowin Vivace is a very safe, slightly warm soft V-shaped iem that, for a pretty accessible price, offers everything you need to either kickstart your way into the IEM hobby or pick a “one and done” option, on a budget, that is hard to hate, since you will get back every buck you paid as audio value. Vivace has a clean-ish, a bit boosted, bass area that offers a more than enough low-end amount without being too bassy, packing a decent, though soft-ish, punch, and a deep, yet controlled, rumble. The mid-range is mildly “pushed to the back” but still has an acceptable body to vocals while keeping them clean. The treble is well controlled but not too relaxed, giving nice sparkle without making the tuning fatiguing in the long run, however, it could feel a bit rough-ish on some specific tracks. Technical performance for detail retrieval, imaging and separation is outstanding at this price point, however, in what respects to resolution, soundstage openness and note-weight, it is just decent, struggling a bit with physicality in the sound. \---------- **WOULD RECOMMEND:** * For people that want a very safe allrounder pick on a budget. * For people that like an energetic but balanced tuning (soft V-shape). * For people that want a clean and rumbly bass but not on a specifically bassy IEM. * For people that like to do EQ, since it works decent with it. * Great budget option for gaming thanks to its overall respectable technical performance. * Safe for most people unless you are VERY sensitive to bass or upper mid-range/lower treble. /----------/ **WOULD NOT RECOMMEND:** * Not for people that like very forward vocals with a lot of body and presence. * Not for people who are VERY sensitive to (again) treble or bass in general. * People that use iems at high volumes should be a bit cautious with this set. * Would not recommend it for bassheads even if EQ is applied (The quality of the bass might not satisfy hardcore bassheads). \---------- # Fit and Drivability Vivace is one of the few iems in the budget bracket that sports a quite thin nozzle, which means that, for people with smaller ear canals, these will likely fit pretty great, which is my case with a very comfortable fit, although, as I have mentioned before, ensuring a good fit is very important, and, since a thin nozzles can potentially give bad fit/seal to people with medium to large ear canals (causing things like reduced bass presence of muffled/drowned mid-range), you should be mindful of that with the Vivace. The Vivace comes with 2 sets of eartips, a narrower and wider bore, which I ended up using the narrow bore medium ones for this review, but you really should try them around to find what sounds and feels best for you. About drivability, this is a budget set, the kind of iem that is made with the idea to be hooked to anything without much problems, and it is like that, using a basic phone 3.5mm jack should do just fine, however, taking the not particularly high sensitivity (of 106dB) into account, if you have a dongle around to use, you could squeeze a few extra drops of refinement out of Vivace with it, however, I wouldn’t say you need to go out of your way to get a DAC for them unless you feel you could use more volume. \---------- # Bass While the bass is good, I don’t think this is the kind of iem you should pick for the bass alone, since is quite balanced and won’t stand out that much over everything else, unless you naturally prefer a more neutral, controlled bass presentation to begin with. The bass can reach deep and offers a decently punchy and rumbly experience while being quite clean, however, thanks to the not so great note-weight on these, is more of a soft-ish presentation, so, it won’t had a particularly aggressive slam or a “brain massaging” rumble to it; but it does has some texture and nuance, is just an overall decent bass quality across the board, maybe just not “basshead” quality of bass. \---------- # Mid-range Mid-range on these is just pretty fine, is not the most forward mid-range presentation you can get, it can feel a bit thin (pushed to the back) at times, more so if, again, you like “neutral” kind of tunings, but is not as thin as a classic V-shape iem tends to be, there is little coloration to the sound, maybe just a hint of warmness from the bass, but is a well separated, clean mid-range with a versatile presentation. Sibilance is controlled, but, if you are sensitive to upper mid-range, it could pop out a bit with certain vocal focused songs, I don’t think is particularly annoying nor obvious since the mid-range is not too forward as said before, but again, you could run into it. \---------- # Treble Treble is not particularly boosted, but, as with the bass, depends on your expectations, for trebleheads is a just a moderate amount, but for people with sensitivity to this area, it could feel a bit intense at times. The treble has good detail, is not harsh, but is not like super smooth either, is just a good, decently extended treble that won’t fatigue you but also won’t make you want more. \---------- # Technical performance Being more than decent in all areas is what makes Vivace so well recommended in a price range where there is always a big “but” when picking a set, however, is not to say that it doesn’t stand out for anything in particular: The detail retrieval on these is easily above average without abusing on treble; the imaging is quite precise with the directional sound cues; and separation is as good as it gets in this price range. In what concerns to other areas of the technical performance, is just fine, resolution is good for the price; soundstage is average, it is not “open” feeling, but it isn’t “closed-in” either; and note-weight, as mentioned before, is probably the only part where it could have done a bit better, since is a softer presentation, this is good for people that don’t like a too intense replay of their music, but for people that like a very “physical” sound presentation, this might be a bit disappointing, also, in terms of replaying music, Vivace works better with well-produced tracks: it makes impressive music sound impressive, it won’t make mediocre music stand out much. \---------- # Final thoughts For the very reduced price the Vivace goes for, and the more than decent assortment of accessories it has, this set is a no-brainer for anyone looking for an “allrounder” kind of set without breaking the bank. Even if things like the cable are a bit “rough” to deal with ( it is a bit plasticky, somewhat stiff), the magic in Vivace is that you have very high chances to enjoy them with any music genre you throw at them, even if it takes a bit of time to get used to them, while other iems can have bigger downsides in areas like tuning, fit, or even technical performance for the same price. If you don’t know what to get, want to get an easy gift for a friend, or simply want to test the waters before going in for something more expensive, Vivace is a very safe pick that, at least for now, is my personal favorite under $30 to recommend if anyone is looking for something that is easy to love while blasting some music. \---------- ***Full disclosure, this set was acquired by my own means, this was not provided by any brand or store, and the opinions, as always, were given in my own accord.*** ***Thanks a lot for reading, the Budget Knight bids farewell, wishing you the best, good luck. – O.E.***

Get tripowin Vivace first as a safe, a bit bassy iem that also works well for gaming and go from there, if you can, dont get the 2 iems at the same time, first try 1, so you can adjust from there and have a better reference, i think that would be a rather better idea.

It sounds okay, don't expect to be blown away by a 10€ IEM. My unit is fine but I wouldnt pick it over my Tripowin Vivace which is 30€, let alone other more expensive sets. Mind that the Gale comes with awful cable and eartips, so you're going to have to swap them to something a little better

I bought them on sale and with codes and coupons they were basically free, 0.10€. However I don't really like how they perform in videogames, which is what they're advertised for. The tripowin Vivace is much better for games, it feels like it has better sound separation and a general nicer signature. For music, I think they're fine enough and I agree with the comments you made about its signature but its sound separation doesnt really improve. I think they shouldnt have advertised it as a gaming IEM because in my opinion it's not good at it. I also agree that stock tips aren't good and the cable is easily the worst I've ever received. I tried both Tang Sancai Noble tips and Render tips. Still undecided on which I prefer on the Gale

I reckon the Tripowin Vivace, Sancai Regular Eartips, Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle, and a short 3.5mm extension cable (cablecreations is one brand example) to add another meter if needed is what you’re looking for. Vivace scores quite high on FreshReview’s list given the price though I can’t remember what he said about val specifically and the Sancai eartips are a “safer” rec for comfort. All of it should be available on Amazon so if something doesn’t work out you have their return policy just keep all the packaging intact.

Vivace is exceedingly good for gaming and one of the default recommendations for it in that price range but the Cadenza are no slouch either. I think it depends on what you want to slightly prioritize. Both perform decently well in either category but the Vivace are ever so slightly better for games and the Cadenza are ever so slightly better for music. That's just my take though and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see others disagree. But that ultimately proves just how minor the differences really are and that both will be a fine pickup you won't regret.

I know there's a quite a few people who have been waiting for me to finally make this post. I apologize for the delay, I was still waiting for an iem to be delivered. A little background: I've been an fps gamer all my life. I used to play cod semi-profressionally and participated in both online and LAN tournaments for money. The main fps games I play today are apex, cod and siege. Ever since I discovered the audiophile world with studio headphones I was amazed how much better headphones sounded compared to gaming headsets. Fast forward to present day and I am now into IEMs and discovering which ones are the best for gaming. As a disclaimer my thoughts and opinions are my own. I understand there are YouTubers such as Fresh Reviews, Ryan Ho, and Gadgetry Tech that may or may not agree with my takes. So please take my thoughts and opinions with a grain of salt as I am just a chill guy who likes to game competitively. The way I determine if an iem (or headphone) is good for gaming is by 3 main categories: soundstage, imaging, and sound separation. A good and accurate soundstage has good width (x), height (y), and depth (z). Imaging, or stereo imaging, is the spacial perception and ability to perceive the precise placement of sounds. Essentially directional audio. I.e left, right, center, back, top left, etc. Sound separation in a iem or headphone is the ability to pick up different sounds at once without it overlapping each other. So the ability to hear explosions go off, gun shots, gadgets, footsteps, etc without distorting the other sounds. With that being said here's the list of iems that I've tried each with a short review and a rating out of 5 for gaming (3 is usable, anything less is not): CCZ BC01 Pro (1) - way too bassy, bad vertical directional audio. Better options CCZ BC04 Pro (2) - same issue as the BC01 but a much more tolerable bass. Better options Moondrop Chu 2 (1.5) - sound is okay, soundstage felt narrow to me. Imaging was okay. Sound separation was below average. Premium feel and build but I didn't like how heavy they were on my ears. Better options Truthear Gate (2) - sound great but not good for gaming. Narrow soundstage, imaging is okay, below average sound separation. Better options Truthear Zero Red (?) - literally couldn't fit in my ears properly without severe pain. So I couldn't test the IEM and returned it. Will be testing the zero 2 tho Truthear Hexa (4) - comfort is not that good, better than the zero reds tho, soundstage and imaging is okay, sound separation is decent. Also not a fan of how they sound tbh. Too neutral for me Tripowin Vivaci (3) - nearly identical to the zeros 2 in technical performance but I like the zero 2 more in terms of overall sound. And for $5 more you can get the 7Hz G1 which is better than both 7Hz Zero (2.5) - a bit too bright, zero 2 is better 7Hz Zero 2 (3) - average soundstage, decent imaging, below average sound separation. Best $20 iem imo, better options as you continue to go up in price 7Hz G1 (4.5) - a Klean but cheaper with a more fun v-shaped sound signature, get this if you're on a budget 7Hz Sonus (4.5) - the most underrated iem for gaming, great imaging and great soundstage but average sound separation. EW300 is a bit better cuz it has better sound separation Kiwi Ears Canta (3.5) - a bit too bright for most people, good imaging, okay soundstage, below average sound separation Kiwi Ears Quartet (4) - best soundstage imo, super comfy fit, imaging is okay and sound separation is average Kefine Klean (4.5) - a better Delci, better sound separation and arguably better sound signature imo Kefine Delci (4) - good soundstage and imaging, slightly above average sound separation Simgot EW300 (4.5) - nearly endgame but still needs better sound separation. Simgot EM6L (5) - endgame, great soundstage, great imaging, great sound separation. Can't recommend it due to it's nozzle QC issues. Otherwise I probably wouldn't use any other IEM for gaming but this Simgot Supermix 4 (3.5) - not endgame. Might get some hate for this but I was really not impressed by this iem for gaming. It had a narrow soundstage and okay imaging, good sound separation tho. EM6L is way better Other IEMs I am planning to review: ND Planet, Tangzu Waner 2, KZ EDC Pro, Truthear Zero 2 Blue, and Kiwi Ears Airoso Note - in the end I recommend the 7Hz G1, 7Hz Sonus and EW300. The DT 900 Pro X and 770 Pro X are my reference headphones for directional audio for competitive fps games. Those headphones essentially make me feel like I have wall hacks and the iems perform 85-90% as good. The best was definitely the EM6L where I felt nearly no difference in performance with my headphones but I can't recommend it because of the nozzle QC issue. It is an easy fix by super gluing it back on but that shouldn't even happen for an iem worth $110 in the first place. With that being said I will still review iems (and headphones) above and below the respective prices but I feel that you will be perfectly happy with the performance of the iems I recommended. Side Note: I'm currently in the process of building a website with the best gaming peripheral recommendations which includes not only iems but headphones, keyboards, mice, monitors, even pro controllers and more. Hope you all have a blessed day and find this helpful in your purchasing decision!

Tripowin Vivace is regularly regarded as a good budget set, same with Kefine Klean (if on sale). Would also look at the KZ Gale, it’s super cheap at $13 (usb-c variant) as the tuning is ideal for it. I’m not a fan of KZ’s general tuning/looks (EDC Pro aside) but happy to recommend whatever’s more suitable for an individual.

For $30, you can get yourself a Tripowin Vivace which has great technicalities for its price and it’s really good for gaming. I bought a month ago and it’s been nothing but great for me. And another bonus is that it doesn’t need a DAC to power it. If you can increase your budget to say $70, you can get yourself an Artti T10, which I don’t have myself but I heard great things about it, I do know that Planars has the best technicalities which is what you need for FPS Gaming. The Artti T10 is a great IEM for $50 or under maybe if it’s on sale in your country, but you need a DAC to power the T10s. A Fiio KA11 will do just fine which can power 200mW @ 32 Ohms.

Well for the $30 price point I'd definitely go for the Tripowin Vivace, I have tried many Iems and keep going back to it. For the $50 range, you have the Kefine Klean and Delci AE, Klean is a budget version of Delci AE but AE is better. I would stick with the AE for $75 too. For $100, you have iems like the EM6L but I haven't tried it but I heard people like GadgetryTech say that's all you need but graph wise, it's the best here for EQ and has a great soundstage based on reviews. Lemme know if you need anything.

Hello! Recently I got my second IEM, the Tripowin Vivace. This review won't be as detailed as some other ones out there. I feel like many IEM reviews can be a bit confusing for beginners because of words that some beginners may not know yet such a "Bright" , "Dark", "Air". So, I want to make this review as simple to understand as possible because I feel like most of the people looking for an IEM at this price range are probably not expert audiophiles with a collection of products. Of course, this is all my opinion. All the images you see are not my own, and I'll leave credits at the end of the post, so you guys can check out the other reviewers I got these pictures from. Tripowin x 0dibi Vivace Price: 30$ Where to buy: [AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807752353276.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.27595f91GeJxFL&algo_pvid=31402ff7-1fd0-40cb-935f-021186b790cf&algo_exp_id=31402ff7-1fd0-40cb-935f-021186b790cf-0&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%22223%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%7D&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%2129.90%2123.90%21%21%2129.90%2123.90%21%40214100f417418867810784426ec8e7%2112000042948355524%21sea%21US%216236564231%21ABX&curPageLogUid=gvERzTVio2WI&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A), [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-Tripowin-0DiBi-Detachable-Enthusiasts/dp/B0DJQVQ1QG/ref=sr_1_1_pp?sr=8-1), [Linsoul](https://www.linsoul.com/products/tripowin-x-0dibi-vivace?_pos=1&_sid=b17e85498&_ss=r). Unboxing: The Vivace has a very bare bones unboxing experience. You get the IEMs, the cable, 3 pairs of eartips, and 3 pairs of wide bore eartips. No case, which is kind of a let-down since there are cheaper IEMs that do bring a carrying case or at least a pouch. https://preview.redd.it/gna34jnvmhoe1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=091539979fdb351f77707bcfd0ea16ababd5cf61 Accessories impressions: The cable is okay. It has a little bit of a rubbery feel, it's braided kind of weird, I don't really like it, it's a little bit stiff, has a chin slider, and comes in a 3.5mm connection. There are mixed feelings on this cable, some say it's cheap and you should buy another one, others say it's good. I say... it's tolerable, but if you have the budget I'd definitely buy a replacement cable. I got the KB EAR ST12 and it's a day and night difference compared to the stock cable. It looks nicer, it's built nicer and it feels nicer. The cable isn't horrible, but I'd replace it if you can. Eartips are "meh". Nothing weird or uncomfortable, but they don't fit my ears very well or feel the best compared to something like my Spinfit W1. I do recommend getting replacement tips, because compared to something like the W1, the comfort and seal is unmatched. You may like the stock tips, I didn't. Comfort: They are very comfortable, no complaints. Compared to the Moondrop Chu 2, which were incredibly comfortable, these are just as good if not a SPECK worse. No fit issues, and after 3 days of more than 4 hours of listening each day, I have had 0 pain or discomfort. They are also very stable in the ear and don't fall out. Build quality: Now, this is where the IEM struggles a bit. The faceplate has some surface imperfections. I got lucky and didn't get much of any imperfections, but when I look closer there is a little bit of them, and depending on what you get, it could be more noticeable. I will attach a picture, so you can get a better look at what the imperfections look like. https://preview.redd.it/7etr8ijimhoe1.png?width=2280&format=png&auto=webp&s=164ba76e8d1f0b0f58ab3f9d00d29c8d0087be55 Looks: This thing looks REALLY good in my opinion. It's has a flashy, mirrored shell, but it's not too much. It's bland and simple, but it looks good. https://preview.redd.it/wj3yvapcmhoe1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=a10cf638001a2b71547764ef83b48371db2e8e89 Sound: This is where these things SHINE. They have a very safe and inoffensive sound. They're not too bassy, they're not too shouty and harsh. They have a very relaxing sound and I love every part of it. Let's go into more detail. Bass: The bass is probably my favorite thing about these. This isn't a bass head IEM. If you like that muddiness, if you're all about that thump, punch, growl and rumble, then there are better options like the QKZ x HBB: Hades, or the KB Ear Rosefinch or the BLON Z300. But if you're like me and you just want something balanced with a bass that has presence and punch, then this is that. The bass isn't boomy and overpowers everything, it's so relaxing, the mid-bass hits, you don't just hear it but you feel it. The sub-bass has a very good rumble and it's clean, you can clearly feel it shake, you can hear it die down. It's controlled, it doesn't go on for too long and when the song demands some shaking, the Vivace will make sure you get shaken by that bass. For example, in leather jacket by Ken Carson, it has this beat that sounds and almost feels like it wants to tickle your brain and that's exactly what I wanted and that's exactly what I got. The bass is very satisfying on these IEMs, so much so that when I went to EQ the bass I didn't increase it by as much as I thought I would. Mids: The mids are very satisfying aswell. There is no bass bleeding into the mids, the vocals don't sound recessed, and they have a good presence. This is not a vocals IEM. Don't get me wrong, the mids are good but it definitely isn't the main thing for these IEMs. Treble and upper-mids: My second favorite thing about these is the treble. There is ZERO sibilance. I am a very treble sensitive person, and I was very surprised to find zero sibilance or shoutiness on these. Compared to my previous IEMs, the Chu 2, these are WAY less shouty. And because the treble is so smooth and relaxed and not shouty, it kind of makes the vocals pop out a lot more, because I'm not being interrupted by the sound of attempted murder on my eardrums. The treble being so smooth makes the listening experience a lot more relaxing. That said, these obviously aren't treble head IEMs. If you love that shoutiness, if you want that sibilance, if your eardrums are masochists, then I'd recommend something like the Chu 2 or the Simgot EW200, those are brighter than the Vivace. Technicalities: Pretty normal I'd say. Soundstage is good enough, IEMs suffer in the soundstage department but some of them do it very well, the Vivace are not an exception. The soundstage is a bit wide, not a lot, but it is not claustrophobic. Imaging is good as well, you can easily tell where instruments are coming from and this helps with gaming. Detail is great as well, I can hear every whisper, every little sound. Gaming: Pretty good, honestly. I can tell exactly where enemies are and predict when they'll come through which door so I can pre-fire perfectly. It's not the best in gaming but it does gaming very well. Comparison: Vivace vs Chu 2: The Vivace is a lot more relaxing and less shouty. The Chu 2 has more clarity in the upper frequencies, but it has less bass, and is a bit worse at gaming. The Chu 2, even though is brighter, is still a very enjoyable IEM and as somebody who is sensitive to treble, I still enjoyed every moment with the Chu 2. The Chu 2 is also built a lot better and are smaller so they could provide a better fit and comfort for certain ears. The Vivace looks nicer in my opinion, has a better cable, more eartip options, but I did find a better comfort on the Chu 2 stock eartips. The Chu 2 also has a DSP version while the Vivace doesn't. Overall, these are both great IEMs, one is brighter, one is bassier, but both are pretty versatile and I enjoyed all genres I tested (hip-hop, R&B, Indie, rock, metal, kpop, pop, hyperpop, synthwave) and whichever one is better depends on your taste. I would go for the Vivace simply because they have a safer sound and you can be guaranteed that there will be basically no sibilance and they are very versatile for music genres. Pros: Bass is very satisfying, clean and controlled. A little bit of EQ and this could very well be a bass head IEM. Treble is clear and isn't too bright, you may consider this a con if you dream of bleeding from your ears. It's just such a relaxing IEM. It's not too much, it's not too little. It's so safe and while it doesn't do anything special, it also doesn't do anything wrong. No anime girls, so your girlfriend won't get mad. Yippee!! They look GOOD. Cons: The surface imperfections could be a turn off and it's a bit of a gamble whether you get one with little to none or with a significant amount. Again, doesn't do anything special. If you're looking for something different, if you're looking for something that's bright or very bassy, it's not here. It's a relaxing, enjoyable IEM, that won't make you go "YEOWCH!". Cable could be better, Tripowin is known for cables after all. No carrying case :( Image credits: 1. \-> [Hifi Oasis](https://www.hifioasis.com/reviews/tripowin-x-0dibi-vivace-review/) 2. \-> [Lumerion on YouTube](https://youtu.be/-1EGVaWbjB0) 3. \-> [theheadphonelist](https://theheadphonelist.com/tripowin-x-ob-audio-vivace-review/) Conclusion: I love the Vivace, for 30 dollars you're getting sound quality that rivals 100 dollar earbuds (I'm looking at you, airpods). I think anybody who tries these will enjoy them to some degree, because they are so inoffensive and versatile. 0dibi tuned these perfectly, its exactly what I like and exactly what I'll be looking for in the future. I hope my review was good enough to provide some information as to what these are like. At the end of the day, I could tell you to buy these 100 times and how much I love them, but my ears are not your ears, so think with your wallet and ears and don't just buy IEMs based on one review. Thank you for reading.

If you really want to pull the trigger then the Vivace is a blind buy in my opinion. Of course it's not the best, but for what you get, you won't be disappointed. Not the best doesn't mean it's bad, this is a very good gaming IEM and you'll enjoy it. The IEMs will do most of the heavy pulling in gaming so you don't really need to go so in depth in DACs and eartips. The regular apple dongle for 10 dollars and some spinfit W1s for 10 dollars is more than enough. If you really just want to get going and stop the madness of this rabbit hole, then I'd just go for the Vivace, an apple dongle dac and eartips that improve clarity such as the W1 or the Tri Clarion. [Here](https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/) is the website I used to choose eartips, just press CTRL + F or "Find in page" and look for "Soundstage: 4.75" or the word "clarity".

If you want punchy bass then none of these will give you that. Out of all of these the Bunny is the best because you can EQ it with the app to whatever you want but you will be restricted to DSP. If you want same kind of tunning but with a bit more bass I would suggest going for the Tripowin Vivace.

I have 3 options: 1) Tripowin Vivace (around $30 - a reviewer I trust (fresh reviews) basically non-stop praised this pair for FPS games, in fact he has this thing called a "wallhack-certified list" which all my 3 options are there btw and this is the highest one. unfortunately the accessories with it are shit but it's $30) 2) Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue/Red (around $50, red is slightly more expensive. blue has more bass, red is more balanced but comes with an impedance adapter to boost the bass. many pro players use this pair, notably most of the g2 roster. the issue with this pair is that the nozzle size is quite bulky and so is the shell, so if you have small earholes, it might be slightly bulky 3) Simgot EW200 ($40, my current pair, love this piece of shit, made of metal and feels like a tank yet also light, sound is slightly more towards treble but I bought a pair of eartips which kinda makes it more on the bassy side and tames down the treble. also being a guy with small ass ears, this pair is extremely comfortable) tldr: #1 is from what I heard the best, but #2 & 3 are really good as well, #2 is being used the most in pro play, in fact I've never seen #1 and 3 used as of rn
