Here are my top picks: - Tripowin Vivace 35β¬ - Simgot EM6L 120β¬ - Truthear Crinacle Zero blue 60β¬ (need AMP&DAC) - QKZ x HBB 20β¬ In that order. For other games, the Simgot and Crinacle Zero jump higher. The next ones can do, but not competitive: - Moondrop Quarks DSP 15β¬ - 7Hz Salnotes Zero 25β¬ - Apple earpods 3.5mm 20β¬ - KZ Zex Pro Crn 40β¬ Can't recommend for PUBG: - Moondrop Chu 25β¬ - Brainwavz Omega 15β¬ I recommend checking Fresh Reviews on Youtube, he checked many pricier models...
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS β’ IEM suggestions for PUBG ->Okh so I'll buy vivace then.. vivace is 5$ cheaper than cadenza π
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->Ohk I like bass so it's good for me
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->Hey man, curious between the Zero 2 and the EW300, would the EW300 be a good upgrade if I liked the tuning on the Zero 2? Looking for something natural yet with good tonality and clarity (not too warm). I tried the Vivace recently and it actually sounded a touch warmer than the Zero 2 which I didn't care for.
r/iems β’ Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->7Hz G1 for gaming, the elevated treble region helps with details when gaming. It is basically the Zero2 without the dark treble. Vivace is good for music, i dont think it has the positional detail extraction for gaming in the way the G1 does. Same is true of the QKZ x HBB, good for music, not exactly a detail extraction IEM.
r/iems β’ Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->Which one is better is going to be totally subjective. But, everyone can agree on Vivace being better in gaming. For me, Cadenza is the sweet spot. For music, I love the warm tonality of it. The bass can be felt but it's not boomy or punchy; it's subtle. For my ears, it lacks the excitement, so I just EQ'ed it. Now, it's very natural and fun. https://preview.redd.it/tjfxtqggrhke1.png?width=2400&format=png&auto=webp&s=4afdb3d6deb00a2c5ffc01c01597fa260cdfb2c5
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->All the three IEMs are somewhat specialized or niche in my opinion. None of these does something exceptionally well in everything. But, if you are talking about versatile IEMs then the list goes like this: Moondrop Chu 2> Castor Pro > Wan'er If your priority is Bass and fun sounding IEM that is good for gaming and music: Castor Pro> Chu 2 > Wan'er Castor Pro is good if you want a fun V-shaped sound. Why you don't get many reviews of it mostly because reviewers do not like KZ or the sound signature it offers. So, if you want insight of Castor Pro, you have to look for user reviews. Or check the review of ToneDeafMonk's Castor Bass. Castor Pro is an upgrade and fixes the things that Castor Bass had. If your priority is vocals and smooth treble: Wan'er outshines everything in this price range. Additionally, there's Tripowin Vivace if you want something that is versatile and good for gaming in that price range.
r/iems β’ Tangzu wanβer, moondrop chu 2, kz castor pro ->Moondrop chu 2 or Tripowin vivace + some cheap dongle is my rec , something like truthear zero is a little bit better
r/iems β’ Good IEM for under $50 USD? ->I found vivace a little better for gaming
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->The Tripowin Vivace is getting praise in that price range specifically for gaming. Otherwise, look into the KBEar KB01 or KB02. The 02 is an acquired taste due to the nature of the bone conduction drivers for the bass and their resonance, but they are pretty good for gaming (I own both) You can buy a cable with an in-line mic for about $10, as well.
r/iems β’ Headset broke and I donβt want another. Whatβs a good pair near the 40 dollar range? ->The Wyvern's mids are aggressive, and has a great amount of sub bass. I'm a mid-head. I love clean, clear, accurate mids. These are just a bit of all three but at the price point, I can't complain. Divinus Wides and the mids get *real* aggressive. Melodic death metal guitar work... hell, any distorted guitar just pops. So do electronic synths that are meant to bite and dig. Energetic treble without being harsh or piercing. The 7Hz Zero2 are, I feel, a more universal recommendation in terms of signature. V-shaped enough to capture a TWS enjoyer, but not so sucked out that the mids feel like an afterthought. It's a minor revelation to the beginner hobbyist while also being a pretty well performing unit at its price and beyond. The Tripowin Vivace is worth considering. One of my favorites, the KBEar KB01, is a no-brainer.
r/iems β’ Best out of these as first IEM ? ->tripowin vivace very good at gaming and fits your budget
r/iems β’ Confused to choose between them for Competitive Gaming under 30 dollars range. ->The Tripowin x 0dibi Vivace seems perfect, it has a white faceplate, and one of the best iems under $100 for gaming
r/iems β’ Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->I would say it's a bit worse than the vivace in gaming performance.
r/iems β’ Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->I'm currently using the Vivace's and they're fantastic but like you said, no mic option. Although, I don't know of any in-line mic's that would be good and if they are, they definitely wouldn't be cheap.
r/iems β’ Best IEMS for gaming? ->It looks like You had almost the same journey as me. I've also been loving various genres mainly EDM, and playing games a lot, and I used SteelSeries Arctis Nova7 before using IEMs. 2 Months ago, I made my choice, blind buying Mangird Tea Pro from Ali and I just fell in love in it. I still like my previous IEMs(Delci, EW300, NX7 Mk4, Vivace), but Tea Pro feels just way too good in both music and gaming. However, I highly recommend you to try it offline or check the return policy. Their shape is very unique and it might be awkward, the fit is perfect for me though. Anyway, Good for you enjoying music ! Good luck and have fun : )
r/iems β’ I've fallen in love ->Glad you like them. I got them along side the Vivace and thought the Vivace were better so returned the G1. Mostly due to treble and separation. However this was just in comparison to the Vivace. They're still really good.
r/iems β’ 7Hz G1 - The Ultimate Budget Gaming IEM? (Review) ->Delci AE for sure the best gaming ones in that price range, I'm not a big fan of them for music tho, I much prefer Vivace safe tuning but tbh they are not as detailed in either gaming or music, hnorable mention to QKZ x HBB, those you can grab for $15 and are still rly good for gaming, bit behind delci ae and qkz x hbb and more fun sounding than vivace
r/iems β’ Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->even qkz x hbb is good, maybe bit worse than vivace but less boring for music, vivace are most popular with newbies because it's a safe tuning nobody rly dislikes, qkz x hbb you might like for music or might not
r/iems β’ Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->7Hz Salnotes Zero is better for gaming than Zero:2, if you want something for gaming $30 Tripowin x 0diBi: Vivace blows them away
r/iems β’ are the Linsoul 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 iems good? do they have any cons to them? ->safe pick Tripowin Vivace, what I like Ziigaat Nuo
r/iems β’ Good IEM for under $50 USD? ->Tripowin Vivace $30 is all you need but if you want best under $100 CAD you should buy Kefine Delci AE on sale
r/iems β’ 7Hz Sonus vs G1 for gaming use only ->They indeed are amazing, currently testing them and Vivace, both incredible for the price.
r/iems β’ 7hz G1 Best Budget Single DD ->For balanced sound on a budget, KZ ZVX PRO, TRN MT5 (brighter neutral) Tripowin Vivace (bassy neutral) Truthear Gate, Tanchjim Bunny DSP (the usb c dsp gives it custom tuning presets) or Tanchjim Zero Ultima. A lot of good options, look into the accessories, looks, and tuning on [squig.link](https://squig.link) to figure out which ones right for you.
r/iems β’ FIRST IEM ->Oh man, for the price: the CCA trio, Kefine Klean, KZ Vader Balanced and HighRes, TRN V90 pro,Tripowin Vivace, Artti T10, KZ Zenith, gaming and audiophile beasts. (personally I'm more inclined to the Klean, the Zenith and the T10) The CCA trio and the Vader Balanced are similarly tuned, but both are one of the best iems under 30 usd. The Klean have a hidden trick who is you can do a subtle mod on it for improving the bass and tuning overall (stock is still so good), is one of my go to sets in the market, excellent tuning and a soundstage and imaging, and macro and microdetails retrieval delight. KZ Vader HighRes, this is 90% the CCA Hydro, but is a hungry boy who craves good sources. Tripowin Vivace, this is an excellent tuned iem, well priced and a gaming powerhouse. TRN V90 pro, they put all the effort in the iem itself but TRN don't disappoint: Nice stock cable, good included eartips (the trn t eartips are one of my favorite eartips ever, period. Lol), and the tuning is an upgrade to the ST7 because is a fix of the flaws of the other iem. Artti T10, is the best planar iem for 50 usd or less, is bassy, balanced, an all-rounder set to enjoy music and a gaming beast. KZ Zenith, is the best DD iem of KZ, with high praise from various reviewers, HBB and Paul Wasabii included.
r/iems β’ Kz Castor pro vs Kz saga: Two best budget iem comparison review.. which one better? ->Bro, Klean > Vivace, and that's because the Klean is a more bassy and polished iem overall, i mean, the Vivace is good, but not that good. The graph may tell you why a better treble extension in the Klean is desired over the Vivace. (And something the graph doesn't tell you, better building, better stock cable and accesories, two tuning nozzles). https://preview.redd.it/yoip6j9zyrfe1.png?width=2400&format=png&auto=webp&s=75e67d87945a54ec9e4dd475446316bd06e34ce7
r/iems β’ Kz Castor pro vs Kz saga: Two best budget iem comparison review.. which one better? ->I had them all and I even tested tripowin vivace and in the end I ended up deciding on em6l. supermix4 hurt my ears, too much treble for me, ew300 good all round but imaging compared to em6l is far behind.
r/GlobalOffensive β’ IEM for cs2 ->yes definitely. I didnβt think the supermix 4 sounded much better, but the highs were much more aggressive. I played for 1/2 hour and was in pain. Itβs very difficult to review CS. Thanks to Amazon.es, I tested them all... I ordered them, tried them for 1/2 weeks and returned them. I also had the Zero Red, gate and hexa but the order for me was em6l, ew300, tripowin, red, supermix, hexa and gate.
r/GlobalOffensive β’ IEM for cs2 ->For a more budget option you have the Tripowin Vivace, really decent for gaming at 30β¬.
r/iems β’ Budget IEM for gaming? ->$20 to $35 is now good price point for this Iβve tried and recommend: - 7hz Zero 2 - Tangzu Wanβer - Tanchjim Bunny - Tripowin Vivace Out of these, I use Zero 2, Bunny, and Vivace the most because theyβre very fun.
r/iems β’ Looking for budget iems for casual music listening? This will be my first iem. Give your suggestions ->First time buying pricier iems and I still have a 25 dollar linsoul coupon that Iβm debating on using. Bought: Kiwi ears aether with 50 dollar coupon Linsoul. Ziigaat x fresh review arete on Linsoul. Mangrid tea pro with 150 dollar coupon linsoul. Also recently purchased zero blue 2, Blon x HBB Z300, and tripowin vivace shortly before spring sale.
r/iems β’ Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->Yes, worth it. 1. They don't heat ur ears 2. Most parts of it are modular and cheap to replace, cables, eartips etc are widely + cheaply available, so pad and mic issues don't affect you. A normal earphone replace pad is 600-1k atleast vs an eartip probably 200 to 400. Cables cost anywhere from 400-2k depending upon features. 3. Physically, IEMs are modular and designed to go over the ears, unlike regular earphones, reducing ear strain on the ear (ear-hole?). Performance-wise, the IEM market is far more competitive, with thousands of reviewers and measurement rigs providing frequency graphs. Additionally, manufacturers focus on IEMs as dedicated music devices rather than just convenience products, leading to a different design philosophy. The best IEM that can be used for longer gaming session with a very good bass response would be the Truthear x Crinacle Zero (Blue) as the other commenter noted. It doesn't have a mic so an upgrade cable with boom mic like the QKZ Q7 Max would be great. But since u had mentioned there that it was a bit over budget I'd recommend the Tripowin x 0diBi Vivace. It is better than the Truthear Zero Blue but doesn't have the same subwoofer-like bass quality but performs better at games while being cheaper. It's also a bit sharper sounding than the TxC 0 I [had made a list](https://www.reddit.com/r/MayankJ/s/zKEU3h48vW) a month ago related to gaming IEMs you can chk that out too if u want some other reccs. But imo Vivace is a great buy and probably the best value for money.
r/IndianGaming β’ Are IEM worth for longer gaming sessions? ->good choice op, vivace is one of the best under $50, its a bit sharp tho
r/iems β’ Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->An older IEM called the QKZ x HBB would be better than the above selection although might not be available. I would rank KZ Castor /Pro (the silver one) top from the 3 At a slightly higher price, Tripowin x 0diBi Vivace would be way better than the above. But if budget is a concern stick to the above, as u might need to change the tips if u have fit issues, further increasing the price.
r/iems β’ Tangzu wanβer, moondrop chu 2, kz castor pro ->Chu 2 are very bad for gaming. I've never heard a serious person recc chu 2 especially for FPS games. Chu 2 arent good imo, bad cables, questionable build quality and bad imaging. Both tangzu waner and chu 2 are some of the worst for gaming, i think people who are recommending these have probably never tried multiple iems side by side. If u are playing some easy to track game, like CS2, valorant or something else with good staging then it will work ok but tougher games like Apex etc would give startled cat moments. I'd strongly suggest looking at these (ranked best to worse) * kefine delci ae * tripowin 0dibi vivace * truthear zero blue * kz castor harman (silver)/pro * qkz x hbb some channels like Fresh Reviews might be able to help u: [https://www.youtube.com/@FreshReviewsYT](https://www.youtube.com/@FreshReviewsYT)
r/iems β’ Tangzu wanβer, moondrop chu 2, kz castor pro ->A little late but if you havenβt decided on a pair the Linsoul Tripowin x 0DiBi: Vivace are a really great budget option. I was like you switching from a pair of Astro a50xβs. Theyβre right around 30usd if you donβt like the change itβs not a big wallet hit but. I mainly play valorant apex and rivals recently and these check all the boxes for me.
r/inearfidelity β’ IEM for gaming ->EM6L have no competition in their price range. I have them and they are truly impressive for gaming and great for anything else. But for under 24$? I honestly don't know and would not recommend anything for gaming for that price. The only option would be Tripowin Vivace for around 29$ or a bit less on sale, but they have no mic option AFAIK.
r/iems β’ Best IEMS for gaming? ->I'll second these selections, especially the Vivace
r/iems β’ Headset broke and I donβt want another. Whatβs a good pair near the 40 dollar range? ->No prob. I shouldβve paid more attention to your budget. Just wanted to point out those two are excellent and the ranking irks me. The Vivace is great. It should be all you need.Β
r/iems β’ Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->i have tiny ear canals and really like the tripowin vivace
r/iems β’ Help me choose small but good IEMs under $100-120 ->Delci AE are usually considered from the best, but if you dont wanna espend much, the Vivace would do just fine and a lot of people like the sound style on those.
r/iems β’ Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->i meam, yeah, but at leas the vivace sounds cleaner so bas wont get as possibly distracting like QKZxHBB could be. dont get me wrong, i have the QKZxHBB and love it, but Vivace is basically one of the cheapest Meta there is on the market and you can hardly dislike it.
r/iems β’ Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->then, definitely check the Tripowin Vivace, and as a second option, CCA Trio or KZ Vader Balanced.
r/iems β’ The IEM Pick Mega-Guide PART-2 ->right now the best budget (under $50) set for gaming is Tripowin vivace brother, likely as good for gaming as truthear zero, but cheaper and with a lot more comfortable nozzle size.
r/iems β’ Best budget IEMs for FPS gaming? Are they better than headphones in the same price range? ->Used to have the zero blue for quite a while but ended up selling it because i couldnt handle the big nozzle even with aftermarket eartips (was uncomfortable), now, Vivace is a $30 iem, so dont expect miracles, is just very good for gaming at that price point and is not going to be any worse for gaming than Zero red/blue in that regard.
r/iems β’ Best budget IEMs for FPS gaming? Are they better than headphones in the same price range? ->If you can find, would really recomend Tripowin vivace as a safe begginer iem that you would be able to rock for long-ish sessions without problems.
r/iems β’ Looking for budget iems for casual music listening? This will be my first iem. Give your suggestions ->Happy new year brother xd. This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) In there you can search some options to pick from. definitely the Kefine Klean is worth a check for what you want. Tripowin Vivace is also pretty nice despite the cheaper price. Sgor Luna is another interesting pick that you can get bundled with a dongle dac for under $50. If you happend to be looking at the Delci, you will find it here: This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) however, i dont think the sound style is what you are looking for, not at least the normal version.
r/iems β’ Getting into IEMs at the beginning of 2025 ->G1 for a focus on clarity and Vivace for a focus on comfort. Speaking about gaming. the others are fine, BUT not as good for gaming specially. Zero 2 is not bad for gaming tho, but Vivace is an small upgrade.
r/iems β’ what is best for csgo and music ->If you want a rumbly and punchy bass, QKZxHBB, if you want good clarity with some extra bass, vivace, both should work foe gaming. taking into account that your budget is around $80, you might wanna check my IEM lists: Sub $50 list: https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/WfhfLLl0np Sub $100 list: https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi Please do search and read about the "gaming update" on one of the 2 so you cab narrow down your options, you might also wanna check Tangzu Fudu.
r/iems β’ Tripowin Vivace or QKZ x HBB? ->This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [\- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) You can search there, specially the "balanced" part of the list, for options, but my personal recs are: For music listening: Kefine Klean. For gaming: Tripowin Vivace. Both are pretty safe choices to make and with overall good performance.
r/iems β’ Good IEM for under $50 USD? ->Cadenza has this particular problem that some people (me included) find the lower treble too harsh for some reason, Vivace is quite similar but it has a better fit than cadenza because of an smaller nozzle and is not prone to that harsh problem that some people find, cadenza is not bad, but specially for gaming, i really would recomend vivace instead.
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->Cadenza is good all things consider, but for $5 less Vivace is essentially the same build quality wise (despite what people want to believe because of driver, etc, materials used alone arent the only thing that marks how well build something is), and is way safer. I often recomend iems here and, fortunately, i have yet to get any complaint about Vivace once given the recomendation (and believe me, people will came back if they dont like what they get), now, is it perfect? well no, people can like different stuff, is just that is hard to hate vivace when does everything just correct.
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->No problem, yeah, Vivace is slightly more bassy tho, just so you know, is not like basshead or anything, but definitely a bit more kinda bassy than what a reference balanced iem usually is.
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->both seem to have quite good bass, but Vivace is a bit more bassy while kinera is more balanced, having some extra energy on vocals, it will likely feel a bit more clean, but also can feel a bit too intense for gaming, Vivace is just a bit more relaxed and safer overall, besides good for gaming, Kinera is pretty good for music and vocals, but not that recomended for gaming.
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kinera celest wyvern abyss which one is better for casual gaming and music.. I want clean sound and good quality bass... Help me which one is better ->If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) There you can check the "gaming update" to scroll ans choose, but my usual recomendation, that you should be able to find on AliExpress, is the Tripowin vivace, but if thats not an option, the Salnotes Zero 2 is a good second option.
r/iems β’ New to IEMs β Need Recommendations for Gaming, Movies, Music ->the usual recs at that budget are: Tripowin Vivace if: you want a comfortable fit, you want a balanced, quite safe sound, and you just want a decent, allrounder set. 7hz G1 if: you care most about gaming performance on a budget, if you like an energetic sound presentation, and in general, if you dont mind some treble energy in order to get more detail perception.
r/iems β’ Budget IEM recommendations for a first time user ->you can use it, but it honestly is not the best option for gaming, if you care about amplification or sounds quality, most iems around $30 or less would be fine for it, but if you plan on do some gaming, other options could be better like QKZxHBb if you like bassy sound, Salnotes Zero 2 for a something overall pretty good sounding for music and nice for gaming, if you can do the strech, at around $30 bucks, the tripowin vivace would ensure a better comfort than Zero 2 and is really well liked around here for gaming.
r/iems β’ Tangzu wan'er for ps5 ->if you can go for Vivace, is still my better pick here. The reason i usually dont recomend Waner for anything gaming related is because in my experience, it does struggle a bit with sound direction, so even for casual gaming it could feel not great. As for your music, both would do about fine (vivace and Waner) but the extra bass of vivace over Waner would help with hip-hop. ps: there is no really "better/best" iem, is about sound preferences.
r/iems β’ Tangzu wan'er for ps5 ->vivace would be a lot safer to use since ew200 has a foward treble
r/iems β’ Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->if you dont mind the noticeable extra bass of the QKZxHBB and want to save a few bucks, QKZxHBB is fine, but ill personally pick vivace for overall use.
r/iems β’ Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->both should be fine but bass can get distractive if its too much, QKZxHBB has quite some amount of bass, not sure if its going to feel like too much for you tho, but in any case, the vivace would likely be safer sound-wise.
r/iems β’ Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->if you can push the budget a bit, or buy on the upcoming 11.11 sales, the Kefine Klean is the options. If you want it right now and you can buy from online stores, the tripowin vivache would be a good pick. other than that, you would really go down to the $20 budget, cadenza is not bad, is fairly detailed and all that, but you have 50% chances of feeling it too shouty since its sound leans a lot into the 4khz area (high-pitched vocals) and some people are sensible to that, so i cant safely recomend them. i guess the step down Would be around the tangzu Waner, the Salnotes zero 2 or the QKZxHBB. but at that price point technical performance is not that great or apparent.
r/iems β’ Best IEM for a 50$ budget in 2024? ->In my opinion the Tripowin Vivace is hard to beat at $30. Canβt go wrong with the QKZ HBB either just know itβs bassy.
r/iems β’ Best Budget IEMS for Gaming ->Vivace is exceedingly good for gaming and one of the default recommendations for it in that price range but the Cadenza are no slouch either. I think it depends on what you want to slightly prioritize. Both perform decently well in either category but the Vivace are ever so slightly better for games and the Cadenza are ever so slightly better for music. That's just my take though and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see others disagree. But that ultimately proves just how minor the differences really are and that both will be a fine pickup you won't regret.
r/iems β’ tripowin vivace vs kiwi ears cadenza which one is better... For gaming and music... I like bass but not harsh type ->Get Tripowin Vivace
r/iems β’ Which is better for exclusive gaming (sounstage and imaging) not music under $35? ->I know there's a quite a few people who have been waiting for me to finally make this post. I apologize for the delay, I was still waiting for an iem to be delivered. A little background: I've been an fps gamer all my life. I used to play cod semi-profressionally and participated in both online and LAN tournaments for money. The main fps games I play today are apex, cod and siege. Ever since I discovered the audiophile world with studio headphones I was amazed how much better headphones sounded compared to gaming headsets. Fast forward to present day and I am now into IEMs and discovering which ones are the best for gaming. As a disclaimer my thoughts and opinions are my own. I understand there are YouTubers such as Fresh Reviews, Ryan Ho, and Gadgetry Tech that may or may not agree with my takes. So please take my thoughts and opinions with a grain of salt as I am just a chill guy who likes to game competitively. The way I determine if an iem (or headphone) is good for gaming is by 3 main categories: soundstage, imaging, and sound separation. A good and accurate soundstage has good width (x), height (y), and depth (z). Imaging, or stereo imaging, is the spacial perception and ability to perceive the precise placement of sounds. Essentially directional audio. I.e left, right, center, back, top left, etc. Sound separation in a iem or headphone is the ability to pick up different sounds at once without it overlapping each other. So the ability to hear explosions go off, gun shots, gadgets, footsteps, etc without distorting the other sounds. With that being said here's the list of iems that I've tried each with a short review and a rating out of 5 for gaming (3 is usable, anything less is not): CCZ BC01 Pro (1) - way too bassy, bad vertical directional audio. Better options CCZ BC04 Pro (2) - same issue as the BC01 but a much more tolerable bass. Better options Moondrop Chu 2 (1.5) - sound is okay, soundstage felt narrow to me. Imaging was okay. Sound separation was below average. Premium feel and build but I didn't like how heavy they were on my ears. Better options Truthear Gate (2) - sound great but not good for gaming. Narrow soundstage, imaging is okay, below average sound separation. Better options Truthear Zero Red (?) - literally couldn't fit in my ears properly without severe pain. So I couldn't test the IEM and returned it. Will be testing the zero 2 tho Truthear Hexa (4) - comfort is not that good, better than the zero reds tho, soundstage and imaging is okay, sound separation is decent. Also not a fan of how they sound tbh. Too neutral for me Tripowin Vivaci (3) - nearly identical to the zeros 2 in technical performance but I like the zero 2 more in terms of overall sound. And for $5 more you can get the 7Hz G1 which is better than both 7Hz Zero (2.5) - a bit too bright, zero 2 is better 7Hz Zero 2 (3) - average soundstage, decent imaging, below average sound separation. Best $20 iem imo, better options as you continue to go up in price 7Hz G1 (4.5) - a Klean but cheaper with a more fun v-shaped sound signature, get this if you're on a budget 7Hz Sonus (4.5) - the most underrated iem for gaming, great imaging and great soundstage but average sound separation. EW300 is a bit better cuz it has better sound separation Kiwi Ears Canta (3.5) - a bit too bright for most people, good imaging, okay soundstage, below average sound separation Kiwi Ears Quartet (4) - best soundstage imo, super comfy fit, imaging is okay and sound separation is average Kefine Klean (4.5) - a better Delci, better sound separation and arguably better sound signature imo Kefine Delci (4) - good soundstage and imaging, slightly above average sound separation Simgot EW300 (4.5) - nearly endgame but still needs better sound separation. Simgot EM6L (5) - endgame, great soundstage, great imaging, great sound separation. Can't recommend it due to it's nozzle QC issues. Otherwise I probably wouldn't use any other IEM for gaming but this Simgot Supermix 4 (3.5) - not endgame. Might get some hate for this but I was really not impressed by this iem for gaming. It had a narrow soundstage and okay imaging, good sound separation tho. EM6L is way better Other IEMs I am planning to review: ND Planet, Tangzu Waner 2, KZ EDC Pro, Truthear Zero 2 Blue, and Kiwi Ears Airoso Note - in the end I recommend the 7Hz G1, 7Hz Sonus and EW300. The DT 900 Pro X and 770 Pro X are my reference headphones for directional audio for competitive fps games. Those headphones essentially make me feel like I have wall hacks and the iems perform 85-90% as good. The best was definitely the EM6L where I felt nearly no difference in performance with my headphones but I can't recommend it because of the nozzle QC issue. It is an easy fix by super gluing it back on but that shouldn't even happen for an iem worth $110 in the first place. With that being said I will still review iems (and headphones) above and below the respective prices but I feel that you will be perfectly happy with the performance of the iems I recommended. Side Note: I'm currently in the process of building a website with the best gaming peripheral recommendations which includes not only iems but headphones, keyboards, mice, monitors, even pro controllers and more. Hope you all have a blessed day and find this helpful in your purchasing decision!
r/iems β’ Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->They are a bit more expensive but i love the tripowin vivace
r/iems β’ Best IEMS for gaming? ->For $30, you can get yourself a Tripowin Vivace which has great technicalities for its price and itβs really good for gaming. I bought a month ago and itβs been nothing but great for me. And another bonus is that it doesnβt need a DAC to power it. If you can increase your budget to say $70, you can get yourself an Artti T10, which I donβt have myself but I heard great things about it, I do know that Planars has the best technicalities which is what you need for FPS Gaming. The Artti T10 is a great IEM for $50 or under maybe if itβs on sale in your country, but you need a DAC to power the T10s. A Fiio KA11 will do just fine which can power 200mW @ 32 Ohms.
r/iems β’ Best budget IEMs for FPS gaming? Are they better than headphones in the same price range? ->Hey, first time I hear about this! It sounds very interesting and fun but I donβt know what I would actually prefer. I own the Tripowin Vivace while it has great technicalities, I want more. Getting something thatβs tuned really well out of the box without eq is something I would prefer!
r/iems β’ Which Endgame should I get? ->Tripowin Vivace.
r/iems β’ 7Hz Sonus vs G1 for gaming use only ->I still donβt know my preference, but I tried a few different iems SM4: I really like it, but sometimes hurts my ear after long use. Vivace: Great Details, great IEM but not enough details. KZ EDC Pro: I loved this especially for the money I paid for it ($1) Tangzu Waner: I didnβt like this :( Can you tell me what iem fit my preference? Thanks!
r/iems β’ How much do I need to spend so my iem doesn't sound cheap? ->I tried many Iems and I keep going back to this for gaming! It's really good for gaming and even better for value.
r/iems β’ Budget IEM for gaming? ->Just imagine the vivace on steroids.
r/iems β’ What IEMs should I get? ->I decided to go for the TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace, they seemed really good!
r/iems β’ Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->I'm gonna give the Vivace a shot first, it'll be my "first" pair so can always upgrade along the way!
r/iems β’ Looking for a White, Budget-Friendly IEM for Gaming and Music ->7hz G1 if you can handle the boosted bass and treble. Tripowin Vivace and Ziigaat Nuo are pretty close to the 7hz zero but with a bit more bass.
r/iems β’ Best IEM Under $30 with a balanced signature for Clarity & Detail? ->Tripowin vivace is also a contender, really great bang for your buck for the price. I got a nice cable with an in-line mic and its great. In-line mic isnt ideal but its good enough just for giving out comms and just chatting in discord.
r/iems β’ Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->Ive been rotating between the kz castor, tripowin viviace, and truthear zero. Castor for bass and vivace and red just based on what im feeling. But I do feel like the vivoace is a little bit better
r/iems β’ That escalated quick / Need you suggestion! ->Kz edc is the cheapest but still quality Iem Iβd go Tripowin vivace genuinely punches well above its cost and itβs under your budget.
r/iems β’ best cheap IEM for a regular user ->ive got the tripowin vivace's with a nice in-line mic. Its good
r/iems β’ Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->I play val, league, and rivals. its pretty good I like it. Im a bit of an audiophile so ive got different types of iem's, a dac amp, and different tips for foam rolling. vivace is a really good iem that is priced really cheap, its kinda confusing how cheap it is. But thats the beauty of iem's, cheap for the most part but you can get really nice quality. for example in rivals ig, I can distinguish the direction and relative proximity of dps flankers. Pretty important for that game.
r/iems β’ Is it worth it to switch from headphones to IEMs for gaming? ->Hello! Recently I got my second IEM, the Tripowin Vivace. This review won't be as detailed as some other ones out there. I feel like many IEM reviews can be a bit confusing for beginners because of words that some beginners may not know yet such a "Bright" , "Dark", "Air". So, I want to make this review as simple to understand as possible because I feel like most of the people looking for an IEM at this price range are probably not expert audiophiles with a collection of products. Of course, this is all my opinion. All the images you see are not my own, and I'll leave credits at the end of the post, so you guys can check out the other reviewers I got these pictures from. Tripowin x 0dibi Vivace Price: 30$ Where to buy: [AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807752353276.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.27595f91GeJxFL&algo_pvid=31402ff7-1fd0-40cb-935f-021186b790cf&algo_exp_id=31402ff7-1fd0-40cb-935f-021186b790cf-0&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%22223%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%7D&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%2129.90%2123.90%21%21%2129.90%2123.90%21%40214100f417418867810784426ec8e7%2112000042948355524%21sea%21US%216236564231%21ABX&curPageLogUid=gvERzTVio2WI&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A), [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-Tripowin-0DiBi-Detachable-Enthusiasts/dp/B0DJQVQ1QG/ref=sr_1_1_pp?sr=8-1), [Linsoul](https://www.linsoul.com/products/tripowin-x-0dibi-vivace?_pos=1&_sid=b17e85498&_ss=r). Unboxing: The Vivace has a very bare bones unboxing experience. You get the IEMs, the cable, 3 pairs of eartips, and 3 pairs of wide bore eartips. No case, which is kind of a let-down since there are cheaper IEMs that do bring a carrying case or at least a pouch. https://preview.redd.it/gna34jnvmhoe1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=091539979fdb351f77707bcfd0ea16ababd5cf61 Accessories impressions: The cable is okay. It has a little bit of a rubbery feel, it's braided kind of weird, I don't really like it, it's a little bit stiff, has a chin slider, and comes in a 3.5mm connection. There are mixed feelings on this cable, some say it's cheap and you should buy another one, others say it's good. I say... it's tolerable, but if you have the budget I'd definitely buy a replacement cable. I got the KB EAR ST12 and it's a day and night difference compared to the stock cable. It looks nicer, it's built nicer and it feels nicer. The cable isn't horrible, but I'd replace it if you can. Eartips are "meh". Nothing weird or uncomfortable, but they don't fit my ears very well or feel the best compared to something like my Spinfit W1. I do recommend getting replacement tips, because compared to something like the W1, the comfort and seal is unmatched. You may like the stock tips, I didn't. Comfort: They are very comfortable, no complaints. Compared to the Moondrop Chu 2, which were incredibly comfortable, these are just as good if not a SPECK worse. No fit issues, and after 3 days of more than 4 hours of listening each day, I have had 0 pain or discomfort. They are also very stable in the ear and don't fall out. Build quality: Now, this is where the IEM struggles a bit. The faceplate has some surface imperfections. I got lucky and didn't get much of any imperfections, but when I look closer there is a little bit of them, and depending on what you get, it could be more noticeable. I will attach a picture, so you can get a better look at what the imperfections look like. https://preview.redd.it/7etr8ijimhoe1.png?width=2280&format=png&auto=webp&s=164ba76e8d1f0b0f58ab3f9d00d29c8d0087be55 Looks: This thing looks REALLY good in my opinion. It's has a flashy, mirrored shell, but it's not too much. It's bland and simple, but it looks good. https://preview.redd.it/wj3yvapcmhoe1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=a10cf638001a2b71547764ef83b48371db2e8e89 Sound: This is where these things SHINE. They have a very safe and inoffensive sound. They're not too bassy, they're not too shouty and harsh. They have a very relaxing sound and I love every part of it. Let's go into more detail. Bass: The bass is probably my favorite thing about these. This isn't a bass head IEM. If you like that muddiness, if you're all about that thump, punch, growl and rumble, then there are better options like the QKZ x HBB: Hades, or the KB Ear Rosefinch or the BLON Z300. But if you're like me and you just want something balanced with a bass that has presence and punch, then this is that. The bass isn't boomy and overpowers everything, it's so relaxing, the mid-bass hits, you don't just hear it but you feel it. The sub-bass has a very good rumble and it's clean, you can clearly feel it shake, you can hear it die down. It's controlled, it doesn't go on for too long and when the song demands some shaking, the Vivace will make sure you get shaken by that bass. For example, in leather jacket by Ken Carson, it has this beat that sounds and almost feels like it wants to tickle your brain and that's exactly what I wanted and that's exactly what I got. The bass is very satisfying on these IEMs, so much so that when I went to EQ the bass I didn't increase it by as much as I thought I would. Mids: The mids are very satisfying aswell. There is no bass bleeding into the mids, the vocals don't sound recessed, and they have a good presence. This is not a vocals IEM. Don't get me wrong, the mids are good but it definitely isn't the main thing for these IEMs. Treble and upper-mids: My second favorite thing about these is the treble. There is ZERO sibilance. I am a very treble sensitive person, and I was very surprised to find zero sibilance or shoutiness on these. Compared to my previous IEMs, the Chu 2, these are WAY less shouty. For example, a track that I found was stabbing my ears a bit too much on the Chu 2 was 20 Min by Lil Uzi Vert. The kick after the 808s was so fatiguing and annoying. It was literally "BOOM BOOM **STAB**" over and over again, and when I listened to the same song with the Vivace, I was actually bracing for the stab and it never came! And because the treble is so smooth and relaxed and not shouty, it kind of makes the vocals pop out a lot more, because I'm not being interrupted by the sound of attempted murder on my eardrums. The treble being so smooth makes the listening experience a lot more relaxing. That said, these obviously aren't treble head IEMs. If you love that shoutiness, if you want that sibilance, if your eardrums are masochists, then I'd recommend something like the Chu 2 or the Simgot EW200, those are brighter than the Vivace. Technicalities: Pretty normal I'd say. Soundstage is good enough, IEMs suffer in the soundstage department but some of them do it very well, the Vivace are not an exception. The soundstage is a bit wide, not a lot, but it is not claustrophobic. Imaging is good as well, you can easily tell where instruments are coming from and this helps with gaming. Detail is great as well, I can hear every whisper, every little sound. Gaming: Pretty good, honestly. I can tell exactly where enemies are and predict when they'll come through which door so I can pre-fire perfectly. It's not the best in gaming but it does gaming very well. Comparison: Vivace vs Chu 2: The Vivace is a lot more relaxing and less shouty. The Chu 2 has more clarity in the upper frequencies, but it has less bass, and is a bit worse at gaming. The Chu 2, even though is brighter, is still a very enjoyable IEM and as somebody who is sensitive to treble, I still enjoyed every moment with the Chu 2. The Chu 2 is also built a lot better and are smaller so they could provide a better fit and comfort for certain ears. The Vivace looks nicer in my opinion, has a better cable, more eartip options, but I did find a better comfort on the Chu 2 stock eartips. The Chu 2 also has a DSP version while the Vivace doesn't. Overall, these are both great IEMs, one is brighter, one is bassier, but both are pretty versatile and I enjoyed all genres I tested (hip-hop, R&B, Indie, rock, metal, kpop, pop, hyperpop, synthwave) and whichever one is better depends on your taste. I would go for the Vivace simply because they have a safer sound and you can be guaranteed that there will be basically no sibilance and they are very versatile for music genres. Pros: Bass is very satisfying, clean and controlled. A little bit of EQ and this could very well be a bass head IEM. Treble is clear and isn't too bright, you may consider this a con if you dream of bleeding from your ears. It's just such a relaxing IEM. It's not too much, it's not too little. It's so safe and while it doesn't do anything special, it also doesn't do anything wrong. No anime girls, so your girlfriend won't get mad. Yippee!! They look GOOD. Cons: The surface imperfections could be a turn off and it's a bit of a gamble whether you get one with little to none or with a significant amount. Again, doesn't do anything special. If you're looking for something different, if you're looking for something that's bright or very bassy, it's not here. It's a relaxing, enjoyable IEM, that won't make you go "YEOWCH!". Cable could be better, Tripowin is known for cables after all. No carrying case :( Image credits: 1. \-> [Hifi Oasis](https://www.hifioasis.com/reviews/tripowin-x-0dibi-vivace-review/) 2. \-> [Lumerion on YouTube](https://youtu.be/-1EGVaWbjB0) 3. \-> [theheadphonelist](https://theheadphonelist.com/tripowin-x-ob-audio-vivace-review/) Conclusion: I love the Vivace, for 30 dollars you're getting sound quality that rivals 100 dollar earbuds (I'm looking at you, airpods). I think anybody who tries these will enjoy them to some degree, because they are so inoffensive and versatile. 0dibi tuned these perfectly, its exactly what I like and exactly what I'll be looking for in the future. I hope my review was good enough to provide some information as to what these are like. At the end of the day, I could tell you to buy these 100 times and how much I love them, but my ears are not your ears, so think with your wallet and ears and don't just buy IEMs based on one review. Thank you for reading.
r/iems β’ Tripowin x 0dibi Vivace: Review. A 30$ Eardrum Massage ->If you really want to pull the trigger then the Vivace is a blind buy in my opinion. Of course it's not the best, but for what you get, you won't be disappointed. Not the best doesn't mean it's bad, this is a very good gaming IEM and you'll enjoy it. The IEMs will do most of the heavy pulling in gaming so you don't really need to go so in depth in DACs and eartips. The regular apple dongle for 10 dollars and some spinfit W1s for 10 dollars is more than enough. If you really just want to get going and stop the madness of this rabbit hole, then I'd just go for the Vivace, an apple dongle dac and eartips that improve clarity such as the W1 or the Tri Clarion. [Here](https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/) is the website I used to choose eartips, just press CTRL + F or "Find in page" and look for "Soundstage: 4.75" or the word "clarity".
r/iems β’ Tripowin x 0dibi Vivace: Review. A 30$ Eardrum Massage ->If you want punchy bass then none of these will give you that. Out of all of these the Bunny is the best because you can EQ it with the app to whatever you want but you will be restricted to DSP. If you want same kind of tunning but with a bit more bass I would suggest going for the Tripowin Vivace.
r/iems β’ Which One of Them Should I Buy? ->I have 3 options: 1) Tripowin Vivace (around $30 - a reviewer I trust (fresh reviews) basically non-stop praised this pair for FPS games, in fact he has this thing called a "wallhack-certified list" which all my 3 options are there btw and this is the highest one. unfortunately the accessories with it are shit but it's $30) 2) Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue/Red (around $50, red is slightly more expensive. blue has more bass, red is more balanced but comes with an impedance adapter to boost the bass. many pro players use this pair, notably most of the g2 roster. the issue with this pair is that the nozzle size is quite bulky and so is the shell, so if you have small earholes, it might be slightly bulky 3) Simgot EW200 ($40, my current pair, love this piece of shit, made of metal and feels like a tank yet also light, sound is slightly more towards treble but I bought a pair of eartips which kinda makes it more on the bassy side and tames down the treble. also being a guy with small ass ears, this pair is extremely comfortable) tldr: #1 is from what I heard the best, but #2 & 3 are really good as well, #2 is being used the most in pro play, in fact I've never seen #1 and 3 used as of rn
