previously i'd say Rosefinch, but i got CCA Trio, and it technically is pretty much the same thing as Castor Pro Bass version. It's gonna be a bit less rumbly, but definitely not less powerful, and in terms of tone and technicalities imo it's an upgrade as well.
r/iems • Best Bass Iems Under $50??? ->**KZ Saga Bass Edition:** If you want bass, alongwith no compromises on Mids and Treble. KZ Saga is overall the best due to its superior tonality. You can listen to various genres unlike the others. **QKZ x HBB & Rosefinch:** Strong Sub bass, warm vocals, lacks details in treble. This is great for Hip Hop, but might not enjoy other genres. The same goes for Roseflinch. **KZ Castor/Castor Pro:** Castor has more Mid bass, punchy bass. Decent rubble. Thin mids, shouty treble. Castor Pro is more balanced, it's the best of both worlds, KZ Saga has better tonality, but Castor Pro has slightly better technicalities. It's very EQ friendly. https://preview.redd.it/0vpgb08z7r8e1.png?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d12b0acf442af8984f685492e0f7fe1c82a41e8 KZ Saga is overall best imo, due to how it's tuned.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->Simply Rosefinch if you want rattling bass in your eardrums. But, are you sure you want that? While I do understand that you have Chu 2 for casual listening. But wouldn't it be better if you have something that is both bassy and sounds good for other genres?
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->If you don't like Rosefinch tuning, unfortunately you can't fine-tune it like us. I'm using Castor Pro because OG Castor wasn't EQ friendly due to limitations on its drivers. We have a way to test different IEMs tunings (80-90% based on driver configuration) via Squiglink database. So, if it sounds good in our IEM, we can go for that IEM knowing what to expect. Look https://preview.redd.it/yj0in47nas8e1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcc0d4feab1ddae71151134245520927718aed17 iOS doesn't have any such apps. So, you are stuck with stock tuning.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->I would recommend buying some cheap pairs to figure out what you like then going from there. Personally I have the SM4, Explorers, ARTTI T10, and Hexa for inside use. Outside my house I have the Wan’er, Rosefinch, and Cadenza. A lot of people are going to blindly recommend the Explorers for everything and while I use the Explorers the most for day to day music because they’re relaxed and warm theyre not something I would ever consider using for a competitive shooter. Price for performance I still think the best on the market is the ARTTI T10. If you’re in the US you can get it off Amazon for $56 right now. The shell is plastic but that’s really the only negative I have for it.
r/iems • best 100-200$ iems ->My other IEMs are the Hidizs MP145, KZ PRX and ZAR, Rosefinch, Zero Red, Zero 2, and ancient Ety ER4S. I mostly just listen to the Punch, MP145 and ZAR for portable. I love classic rock the most like Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, Beatles, Dylan, Zeppelin, etc. But I listen to everything, love classical and jazz, and EDM and Hip-hop and bassy pop, soul.
r/iems • Are the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch the best for someone who likes a more bassy sound with some treble and low mids while still sounding clear and not muddy? ->IMO, the QKZ HBB is the best of the three, but they all have a quite different "flavour" so it depends what you're looking for: * The Rosefinch is the most "basshead" with the most sub-bass (rumble). The downside is it has very peaky treble which can limit how loud you can comfortably listen to them, although to an extent that depends on how sensitive you are to mid-high treble. * The Castor Bass has the most punchy, aggressive, hard-hitting style of bass, with the least sub-bass of the three. Overall pretty well tuned with some minor issues in the treble but nothing as bad as the Rosefinch. * The HBB is more of a very-warm, laid back sort of tuning than a true basshead tuning and has the most natural timbre with fewest tuning issues. But it also volume scales very well, so you can turn it up quite loud if you want without any part of the tuning causing issues - just be careful not to damage your hearing if you plan to do that.
r/iems • Best Cheap Basshead IEM? ->The Rosefinch is terrible. Looks great. Sounds like shit
r/iems • SGOR Luna, TRN Rosefinch, NiceHCK F1 pro, KZ PR3, KZ PRX, which one to buy? ->TinHiFi T3+. The other was a KZ 12 pro x, something like that. It’s impossible to remember their model numbers, and it’s been a while. A Rosefinch wasn’t far behind. The T3+ found an appreciative home, the Rosefinch went to someone else, but outside of an initial thank you, I never heard about it again, and KZ12 whatever went straight back to Amazon for a refund. And it wasn’t a cheap KZ IEM, it was in the upper level of their budget pricing.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->The bass on the new Blue 2 is supposed to be good if you use foam tips, but has very mixed reviews. The Delci has good bass, but not really basshead levels. The Rosefinch is very inexpensive but is a true basshead set, just not well rounded. More, ti me, a one trick pony. The Castor Pro Bass edition always gets mentioned, but honestly I don’t find the bass that impressive for the hype. It’s there, just not quite what I’d expected. So while not full on basshead, I’d still put the original Delci out there for good bass but not sacrificing the rest of the music. All of those are available in 3.5mm cables. I would advise, however, on a PC is a dongle of some sort. Even an $8 Apple dongle will do. The audio out on most pcs are almost afterthoughts, have a high impedance which can be unbalanced for sensitive IEMs, and pick up too much RF noise off the motherboard.
r/iems • IEM suggestion under 60$ for bass head lover and kick drum lover ->I have a few bassy IEMs. Namely my Rosefinch and the very cheap QKZ ZXT. But I am starting to like the amount of bass my EDC Pro has. It's bassy, but not anywhere near a true basshead IEM level. Even the PRX's bass is growing on me. It's funny that I started my journey into IEMs two months ago as a basshead. The more bass, the better. But over two months, finding myself wanting a more neutral sound, or at least a relaxed V shape. Even in my Subaru with the good sound system, I find myself turning the bass down now. Let me evolve a bit before choosing another.
r/iems • The Castor Pro bass was worth every penny for a new IEM user like me ->You need bass. 7hz zero 2, castor pro black, rosefinch. You need a dongle if all u got is lightning. Apple dongle is enough for these afaik.
r/headphonesindia • Looking for IEM recommendations under 2000 ->Ignore everyone here Get the Rosfinch for most bass I have a Scarlet mini fyi
r/iems • Best Cheap Basshead IEM? ->If you are willing to EQ, the Waner actually, otherwise, Rosefinch for full blast Rumble, or QKZxHBB for a still somewhat correct sound. Castor is more punchy than rumbly.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->they are all around the same honestly, is more or less about how much you take care of them, but probably Waner or QKZxHBB a bit better over the Rosefinch.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->Rosefinch have amount of bass, but not quality and it might not be able to compete in other freq quality in comparison to Castor Pro or CCA Trio my daily driver is CCA Trio before right now i use ***KBear KB02*** ($39) (the one with elastic-BCD) KB02 is pretty good and have that unique tactile rumble due to that bcd and more forward vocals. CCA Trio have better midbass impact tough.
r/iems • Best Bass Iems Under $50??? ->I couldn’t stand the Rosefinch personally, but if all you care is bass no matter what, then you may like it. It has a not-so-popular connector type, which may be important to consider if you do cable matching. I loved the Castor Bass. The QKZ x HBB is not that bassy, doesn’t fit this category. For super punch, E20 on sale is a better performer, especially with EDM & Hip-Hop. It graphs similar-ish with the Deuce. I am curious what other IEMs people recommend.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->Yes, the Chu II has a standard 2-pin connector. You can use its cable with the Rosefinch but not vice-versa. It is the same connector the E20 has. KZ uses QDC, a different type of connector, but definitely more popular than TFZ.
r/iems • Best IEM under $20 with heavy RUMBLE ->Same here I was using them for gaming I had all the truth ears up to the xenns iems for competitive fps. Then I got super lucky found a brand new sealed Astro a40 with the mixamp like a month ago bought it for $300 and i will never go back to iems like ever ever
r/iems • I quit ->I love the sound of the Blue 2’s, but I tried the Tangzu Fudu, Kiwis and 7hz - the only reason I’m considering others is because they feel so much better in my ears. But the sound signature has been better on the Truths by far
