TRUTHEAR - V10 Pro

If you're that convinced about single DDs sounding the same, I highly recommend you try trn v10 pro. It's an open back 2 DD + 2BA IEM at the same price range. It's the iem that convinced me to buy a higher priced iem.

I have the KZ caster Pro, KZ x Angel ears, KZ × HBB DQ6S, TRN Conch and the TRN V10 Pro ♥

I got a set of each and I could still not fit them, sadly and they were not the smallest I had found either. I got a random cheapo pair off AliExpress and they're about half a millimetre smaller, but still not small enough :(

Kz Zvx pro, kz zsn pro 2, cvj night elf, kz vader highres, trn v10 pro, trn v90 pro... The mt5 is all but analytical, is a reshell of the Orca but bad tuned lol.

I bought mine (ND planet) a few days ago so I'm waiting it to arrive the next week maybe?, the Orca is very capable in technicalities, but is not better than the V10 pro in this aspect, ZVX pro is a beast in technicalities maybe trading blows with the Vader HighRes (but the Vader is just in another league, is almost 90% of the CCA Hydro), maybe on pair with the V90 pro and Nightelf, and the ZSN pro 2 is perhaps the only on pair with the Orcas, but with a little more stage and imaging. Btw, i love my Orcas, and i hate my mt5, i know I'm crazy but whatevs ahaha. Cheers mate!

Sometimes you need to look at the trees to see the forest. In my case my tree is the ISN H20 feedback relative to a relative twin the TRN V10 Pro. Its fascinating to see positive feedback of the H20 vs T10 Pro before - even if one considers widely varying personal preference - when you look at the msrp, FR graphs and driver configs. I can only shrug. Though I agree with the quality of the Liquer eartips both black and orange - they could stand to be less expensive still.

OK, I looked for them in my box of “long-forgotten IEMs” and I'm listening to them right now. I remembered that when I bought them out of curiosity, I thought they were very nice IEMs for the price I paid. They are a hybrid of DD and BA, and you can hear it. They have quite nice, not exaggerated bass, nicely controlled, much better than in ChuIi or Zero 2. The drums and cymbals sound surprisingly good. The vocals are slightly withdrawn, but not bad. The treble is quite nicely balanced, sounds clear and is not sharp, so it won't hurt your ears. Overall, they sound clear, position the sources clearly, but the soundstage is not very wide. What immediately came to mind was that they have a very dynamic, fast sound and are actually great for more dynamic music. Overall, they are good IEMs. I am now comparing them to the GK Kunten, but the Kunten sounds more resolving and, above all, has a much more natural sound color. I can also see (and feel in my ears) that the V10s have a slightly wider acoustic channel, so take this into account as it may be uncomfortable if you have small ears. To sum up - very decent, dynamic, fast IEMs, but rather for listening to rock, metal, jazz, etc. - not for listening to a lot of female vocals. I can't comment on the AN09 because I don't have one, but I do have the AN01 and BT20Pro, and both fit the V10 just fine.

I think you're right. Generally speaking, I personally prefer hybrid IEMs over pure dynamic or planar ones. And I like the sound of BA drivers, they are great for more dynamic, dense music. I also like it when the treble is not very recessed and the bass is not overly dominant - it should be tight and precise but sufficiently powerful. But coming back to your observations, I think what you wrote is absolutely true for slightly more expensive IEMs, but it doesn't quite work for cheaper ones. The Conch and V10 are great examples here. The V10 is, if I remember correctly, 2DD+2BA - at a price of less than $20. These drivers must be budget quality, considering that the cost of manufacturing a BA is often higher than that of a DD driver. In the case of the Conch, it is a single DD and the IEMs themselves are twice as expensive. This may be the reason why I personally consider the Conch with a single DD to be much better IEMs (especially in the higher frequencies, but they also have better bass) than the V10.

With Mic? Can you explain the mic connected to the earbud combo or standalone IEM's? Standalone IEMs, my vote is Truth Ear.

Same here I was using them for gaming I had all the truth ears up to the xenns iems for competitive fps. Then I got super lucky found a brand new sealed Astro a40 with the mixamp like a month ago bought it for $300 and i will never go back to iems like ever ever

I love the sound of the Blue 2’s, but I tried the Tangzu Fudu, Kiwis and 7hz - the only reason I’m considering others is because they feel so much better in my ears. But the sound signature has been better on the Truths by far
