TRUTHEAR - VX Pro+

I would suggest buying at least two from this list to get a start in accessories and different tuning styles. Get the Wan'er II for sure because it is a good IEM plus you get Sancai tips which makes them a great deal. Of the IEMs you list the Chu II has the most bass, VX Pro+ has the most treble. Tuning is king and getting a variety of cheap sets lets you figure out what you prefer. It also lets you try different shell shapes to get some idea of what is comfortable for you from a fit perspective.

Yesterday afternoon after 9 days of transit I recieved my pair of VX Pro+ and while all the reviews I had watched were mixed bags, talking about notorious quality control issues from the brand, the tangled cable, the horrible unboxing experience and all, I still bought them because after all the coupons they were a total of 36$ Cad. Since I only own two pairs of iems, I slapped dunu S&S tips on my VX pro+ and hooked them to my Moondrop Dawn Pro and decided to listen to my 6 favourite song of all time, one time on my VX, one time on my EW300 that I cable swapped for a tripowin zonie. Heres what I listened to : - No Surprises/Radiohead - Slipping Through My Fingers/Abba - Sunday/The cranberries - Operation Mindcrime/Queensryche - Starman/David Bowie - The Adults are Talking/The Strokes I was honestly blown away by my VX Pro+, the seperations between the instruments was way better, the drums sounded real, there was more bass, female vocals like on Sunday were almost ethereal compared to what i felt were a warmer toned ew300. I was honestly a little dissapointed by how my Ew300 performed in that little side by side comparison considering they were triple the price (110$ cad) and while ive used them daily for the last 2 months im wondering if I just dont get it. How does a 35$ set sound better than something triple the price.

Well if TRN doesnt send u a broken set with channel embalance and u can find the VX pro+ pretty cheap, id try it to be honest. the stock cable is near criminally bad though so definitely get another one

I mean considering i got mine for like, 20 usd. or 35 cad its about a million times better than any set in that price range

I love ppl w unbiased ears lol Try the TRN VX Pro Plus, they cost about $40 bucks ali. One of my fav iems, they are absolutely perfect. Especially for gaming, uff.

Ngl, the iem world is a deep rabbit hole! Its not for the weak minded lol So many recommendations, so many different tunings, and lets not forget EQ’ing them too, that been said…. Try the TRN VX pro plus. To me, those are the best iem for the price, it has a little bit of everything and you can easily eq them too to your liking.

Sound is subjective. What sounds good for me probably wont sound good to you. Start cheap, try TRN, they make the best cheap iems hands down. I tried KZ, kiwi ears, letshuoer and my TRN VX pro plus are my daily drivers. I have more expensive iems but they are catching dust because I absolutely dont like the sound they provide. Also my biggest disappointment spending 200-400 bucks and then not having a good soundstage or clarity. Meanwhile, this $40 chinese iem, provides me with 3D audio, I can feel the distance of the instruments. Also for gaming, forget about it, ppl say im cheating all the time, mind you, im just hearing the enemy. And the clarity and details. Its really up to the people to decide for others sadly. What i mean is. Yea many says that TRN and KZ are lying about the specs and the quality. But you not paying crazy amount, they are good. Its just people afraid to try. Also the tune of the VX PRO+ is slightly sharper than the VX PRO. Its good, matter of fact really good. Counting what you get for what you paid. Many would say build quality is really bad. But also thats a plus for me honestly cause its super light. I myself learned to not watch reviews. I just try

With Mic? Can you explain the mic connected to the earbud combo or standalone IEM's? Standalone IEMs, my vote is Truth Ear.

Same here I was using them for gaming I had all the truth ears up to the xenns iems for competitive fps. Then I got super lucky found a brand new sealed Astro a40 with the mixamp like a month ago bought it for $300 and i will never go back to iems like ever ever

I love the sound of the Blue 2’s, but I tried the Tangzu Fudu, Kiwis and 7hz - the only reason I’m considering others is because they feel so much better in my ears. But the sound signature has been better on the Truths by far
