I've used the Shure SE215, which are pretty basic. I've also splurged and spent $600 on quad driver Westone W40. The Mackie's are definitely better than the Shure, but not nearly as pricy as the Westone.
I'm old school I guess. I haven't dabbled with any of the new manufacturers I see on this sub. I had a pair of Westone UM3 for more than 12 years before one side failed. I still have a couple Westone "W" range IEMs that are still going strong after 5+ years. Big fan of the brand just for their longevity.
