I've owned and used a few different types of in ear monitor systems and I've found that the Xvive units are the best for the price hands down. The only problems I've come across is when using multiple Xvive units in venues with a heavy wifi presence, but when employing some simple fixes the problems were solved and the units worked flawlessly.  You definitely won't find a better in-ear monitor system for the money.

For a small band, an X32 mixer (compact is a nice smaller option, but don't go for a 'Producer'). XVive do wireless IEMs on 2.4GHz for $250 each, you can run up to six sending units, and mix the IEMs by phone (don't use Behringers app, use Mixing Station)
