"Ya there is amazing stuff in the 200 to 300 dollar space, really, like the latest run of Ziigaat stuff, Odyssee comes to mind.. ... We are having our little brains blown out the ear holes at this point."

"Unfortunately Ziigaat's shell shape creates pressure points near the upper ear. ... My only complaint is their shell shape creates a pressure point on the top/back of my ear. ... Ziigaat's shells are the only ones I've ever had a problem with. CHANGE UP THE SHELL SHAPE GUYS."
"Lacking ergonomics"
Roger. If u wanna strictly control it to under $200, Daybreak is prolly the best all rounder although it leans more to neutral than warm n bassy. Best warm bassy options close to ur bracket that I have experiences with are Ziigaat Crescent and Softear Volume S, but both are a little over that budget. Those 3 don't have the best cable in the world either if that bothers u.
I love the ZiiGaat Crescent
Might as well get the teas as you will have the itch to see what’s better… speaking from experience as I’ve gone from Qkz hbb to supermix4 to…. Probably tea pros or siigaat crescents
Favourite iem from ZiiGaat, i havent tried them all, but have to say the ZiiGaat Crescent. The Horizon will introduce me to a different sound signature, they are also really cool looking.
I like it better than the Xenns tea pro and sometimes more than the top pro. The latter is a little too lean in the bass on some tracks. I also find myself listening to the Venus more than the Ziigaat crescent, it’s more resolving despite having almost the same amount of air.
Em6L or Supermix4, top end being Kiwi Astral, Ziigaat Crescent, Punch audio martilo are going to be the top for gaming outside of spending $450-550, get a Dac and amp or an all in one combo, life will be perfect afterwords for gaming and everything else, movies even single player games. Highly recommend dx5ii for gaming and scalpel like clean precise sound, you'll be clairvoyant in FPS where sound is mandatory.
Arma reforger... Dayz, Squad, CS2 all the multiplayer games that I play are benefited by their tuning. Edit: Now that I have the Ziigaat crescent and the Punch audio martilo.. id put any of those up there with the Astral.. really need to spend some crazy time on all 3 of these because they are so f'n good. :) Astral remains daily driver unless i need something exciting for killing floor or single player then I throw on the martilo.
Your going to want a Ziigaat most likely just due to the very wide spectrum of genres you've presented, Crescent(my favorite Ziigaat) Kiwi Ears Astral, Ziigaat Luna, Soft Ears Volume S. Other then that, I ran out of my own personal experience to dive any deeper, I suspect that with the Luna or Crescent you'll be super happy IME.
truthear pure! tried it recently & absolutely loved it. i also have the ziigaat crescent right now but i prefer the tuning of pure over it. now im just waiting to try the crinear daybreak.
Crescent would be nice
Depends, if you want a cinco with more treble then that’d be crescent, if you want something cleaner and smoother go Odyssey 2
Very different from the Crescent imo, crescent is more v shaped, warmer and sparklier
ziigaat crescent is my favorite ziigaat so far
Jeez. Its really getting to the point where we can almost say mid-fi has been saved by Ziigaat. The despot of 200-400USD is looking pretty good, as someone who really liked listening to the crescent and arcanis.
