r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Favourite iem from ZiiGaat, i havent tried them all, but have to say the ZiiGaat Crescent. The Horizon will introduce me to a different sound signature, they are also really cool looking.
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->I like it better than the Xenns tea pro and sometimes more than the top pro. The latter is a little too lean in the bass on some tracks. I also find myself listening to the Venus more than the Ziigaat crescent, it’s more resolving despite having almost the same amount of air.
r/iems • What's the best IEM release of 2025? ->Em6L or Supermix4, top end being Kiwi Astral, Ziigaat Crescent, Punch audio martilo are going to be the top for gaming outside of spending $450-550, get a Dac and amp or an all in one combo, life will be perfect afterwords for gaming and everything else, movies even single player games. Highly recommend dx5ii for gaming and scalpel like clean precise sound, you'll be clairvoyant in FPS where sound is mandatory.
r/iems • Best IEM for gaming (pinpoint audio) ->Arma reforger... Dayz, Squad, CS2 all the multiplayer games that I play are benefited by their tuning. Edit: Now that I have the Ziigaat crescent and the Punch audio martilo.. id put any of those up there with the Astral.. really need to spend some crazy time on all 3 of these because they are so f'n good. :) Astral remains daily driver unless i need something exciting for killing floor or single player then I throw on the martilo.
r/iems • Are Kiwi ears Astral the new reference for gaming? ->truthear pure! tried it recently & absolutely loved it. i also have the ziigaat crescent right now but i prefer the tuning of pure over it. now im just waiting to try the crinear daybreak.
r/iems • What's your favorite IEM under $50-$150? ->Crescent would be nice
r/iems • My Ziigaat Odyssey 2 Review - New Look New Sound? ->Depends, if you want a cinco with more treble then that’d be crescent, if you want something cleaner and smoother go Odyssey 2
r/iems • My Ziigaat Odyssey 2 Review - New Look New Sound? ->Very different from the Crescent imo, crescent is more v shaped, warmer and sparklier
r/iems • My Ziigaat Odyssey 2 Review - New Look New Sound? ->ziigaat crescent is my favorite ziigaat so far
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Jeez. Its really getting to the point where we can almost say mid-fi has been saved by Ziigaat. The despot of 200-400USD is looking pretty good, as someone who really liked listening to the crescent and arcanis.
r/iems • Ziigaat's First Tribid: The Horizon ->Spot on. I’ve owned three sets of Ziigaat. It seems that many of the reviewers all state they’re “bangers”. Only Mark Ryan seems to be critical of Ziigaat. I bought the Crescent and compared it to the Astral (same price point) and there’s no comparison as the Crescent was lifeless. All of their tuning is similar and very “safe”. Maybe that's good but...?
r/iems • KZiigaat back at it again ->What are your favorite parts of the Truthear Zero Reds? A step up to consider aside from the Xenns Mangird Tea Pro would be the ZiiGaat Crescent. They have all of the characteristics of the Xenns except what I found to be a bit of harshness in the higher frequencies for some songs. One thing I find that helps me look at and envision what an IEM might sound like, while comparing my own experience in listening to others and knowing the graphs, is what may come next or where I'm going to be happy. Here is an example for the two IEM I have mentioned. Please note who's graph this is so it helps when you view their reviews additionally on YouTube for example. Xenns Mangird Tea Pro v ZiiGaat Crescent https://preview.redd.it/69biu61xzrrf1.png?width=2314&format=png&auto=webp&s=9535b84c71291f1cb3a689fddd5826c8ca4482be
r/iems • Best IEMs around $300? ->Now the Xenns Mangird Tea Pro v Arttis T10 Pro (I am testing these) and find them to be every bit as great as the Mangird Tea Pro and have less sibilance for $230 less. https://preview.redd.it/kcnxoaxu0srf1.png?width=2316&format=png&auto=webp&s=5eb5d9d6b95f17dd81e7cbc76bf4d003b12c9531 I'm not getting any sibilance in every genre I play and love these, though they are not exactly the prettiest of IEM, they sure do sound great. I'm also consistently using Dunu S&S eartips as they fit my ears best for a good seal and I'm getting a consistency with other IEM I have tried.
r/iems • Best IEMs around $300? ->Gotta be the Crescent, it's the best JM-1 tuned IEM in the market for me.
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Yep. I received them about 3 weeks before CanJam. They also sent me the [Crescent](https://resonancereviews.com/ziigaat-crescent-review-outer-spacious-95b10ec6e2da) and [Septet](https://resonancereviews.com/kiwi-ears-septet-beyond-the-niche-2ec804b7bcc3), which I *do not* recommend buying.
r/iems • All-BA IEMs have gotten so much better since I first started. The Luna is *great* ->*The following is a condensed version of my* [*full review which you can read here*](https://resonancereviews.com/ziigaat-crescent-review-outer-spacious-95b10ec6e2da)*. Comparisons, build, and accessories are all discussed over there.* ZiiGaat, a Linsoul sub-brand, is a well-known player in the ChiFi arena. Like its brand-siblings, ZiiGaat releases IEMs a blistering pace, often leaving enthusiasts at a loss for what leads to pursue for their next upgrade. But, the sheer volume of IEMs released in a year isn’t what makes a brand popular, it’s the quality of product. The Crescent, one of ZiiGaat’s newest releases, is an IEM with an undoubtedly-strong foundation — but does it stick the landing? Let’s get into the details. The Big Picture ***Pros:*** * Strong sub-bass extension * Evocative, spacious tuning * Strong vocal intelligibility * Large and functional case * Detail-oriented treble * Strong eartip selection ***Cons:*** * Higher-pitched vocals can sizzle * Basic cable with friction-only modular termination * Sub-bass lacking in shape and follow-through * Underwhelming mid-bass intensity * Lacking ergonomics # Tech Specs * Drivers: 2x dynamic, 2x balanced-armature * Sensitivity: 103dB * Impedance: 26Ω * Cable: 0.78mm 2-pin w/ modular termination (3.5mm, 4.4mm) # Sonic Overview: The Crescent is a V-shaped, teetering on U-shaped, IEM with an emphasized sub-bass, slightly-lifted mid-bass, flat lower-midrange, lifted upper-midrange, and emphasized treble. It features excellent extension in both the upper and lower registers, covering the full breadth of the sonic spectrum. The Crescent peaks a few time in the upper-midrange and lower-treble, most notably in the 5kHz–6kHz range. Conclusion The Crescent is yet another IEM is a sea of new releases. It demonstrates strong technical ability, but is held-back from true greatness by its over-active upper-mids and treble. It has an impressive accessory suite, though again, could use some additional refinement for its modular-cable mechanism. The Crescent isn’t for everyone, but does represent a competent purchase for those able to tolerate (or enjoy) its quirks. I’m interested to see if ZiiGaat is able to refine the Crescent into something competitive — the foundation is there, it just needs some work. # Who This is For * Listeners seeking a bright, expressive IEM with emphasized treble * Those who want midrange IEM with a spacious soundstage * Those who enjoy hotly-tuned vocals * Listeners who want a balanced, not forward, bass presence # Who This isn’t For * Listeners with treble sensitivity * Those who want the mid-bass to be assertive and punchy * Bassheads * Listeners who are particular about vocal toning and fray As always, happy listening!
r/iems • [Review] The ZiiGaat Crescent is decent, but not top-tier as some have said. ->I've already heard this one, its alright. Quite airy but just doesn't have a wow factor to it. The Crescent and Odyssey 2 are better ziigaat picks imo and the Daybreak has the same set-up and sound better for less so eh... It's another miss for ziigaat for me.
r/iems • Ziigaat's First Tribid: The Horizon ->Well personal preference is a big part of that hobby but I like treble emphasis. If you're sensitive to 10-11K than that's on you. The new Ziigaats like Luna and Crescent have even more treble than Daybreak so not sure why'd you'd call out Daybreak specifically for having "harsh peaks" when a lot of other IEMs in the market have more and even messier treble presentation like how I feel in the Horizon. doesn't mean it's bad but I feel at least like it's not market competitive. And regarding poor quality, most of the issues seem to only come out of batch 1 and this is an entirely new brand so I'm not expecting full marks on their first go ahead but all the Daybreaks I've seen have felt super solid and a lot more well built than the hollow resin shells of most Ziigaats. If you want to hate on Daybreak, that's you.
r/iems • Ziigaat's First Tribid: The Horizon ->I recently bought Ziigaat Crescent and i hope i wont upgrade it, it sounds beautiful. I quit on headphones since i dont see need for it, but i have KSC75 as utility workhorse. Now i want to invest 300$ in studio monitors (gonna sell my speakers and add 100$) and im definitely done with audio. Im glad you found your endgame.
r/iems • I quit ->I would consider the Horizons a pretty solid step up, personally. I have the Dusks, Horizons, Lunas, and Hype 4's at the moment and any of these would be a worthwhile upgrade depending on what you want (though 'worthwhile' is relative and subjective, obviously). I think the $3-400 is a great sweet spot atm. Supermix bass quality is only OK and their mids are thin to me. Supermixes punch above their weight in technicalities for sure but Horizons are still better in every technical metric except for their soundstage which is probably about the same. Horizons: very good/great in every aspect, lean a little bright, not a ton of bass but bass quality is very good. Feel like they would be a direct upgrade to the Supermix if you like their sound signature Lunas: fantastic flat response but leans brighter than the Horizon, lacking in bass quantity but quality of bass mids and treble are all excellent. Reference-sound with sparkly airy treble emphasis. Slightly more technical than the other 3 Hype 4: more 'fun' sound great bass extension and impact though bass quality can be a bit muddy, treble response very similar to Supermix but better quality more airy and shimmery. If you like the treble response of Supermixes but want more bass Dusk: My personal favorite of the 4. On their DSP Default tuning: absolutely fantastic bass both in quality and quantity, mids are similarly just perfect to my ear, full of body and never shouty, and treble similar to the Hype and Supermix. Issue with Dusks is their standard tuning on an analog 3.5mm cable is a bit too bright and treble while airy and sparkly gets fatiguing... IMO you either need to use the DSP cable or EQ them some other way to have them reach their full potential. They EQ better than any IEM's I've personally ever tried, it's wild what you can get out of them. Anyway, as with anything in IEM's and audio in general 'worthwhile upgrade' is subjective. The listed IEM's all cost like $150-$200 more so if the extra $ is too big an ask then I would say don't feel like you're missing out on anything and enjoy the Supermixes, EQ them if you wanna feel like you changed IEM's without spending any $.
r/iems • My Ziigaat Horizon Review - Detail Beast? ->It's tuned really well. Engaging, fun, and far from dull compared to similar sets. The carry case is spacious too, making it easy to carry eartips and DACs around.
r/iems • Got my Ziigaat Crescent, it's beautiful. ->Yes, it looks awesome.
r/iems • Got my Ziigaat Crescent, it's beautiful. ->Not as a basshead or even something like Martilo, but yeah, it got a good quality sub bass rumble and good mid bass tactility
r/iems • Got my Ziigaat Crescent, it's beautiful. ->Not really dull, but they lack the shimmer a bit imo, something like Luna and Lush
r/iems • Got my Ziigaat Crescent, it's beautiful. ->I'm probably in the minority here, but I have no complaints about a company releasing a ton of options with branded Knowles or Sonion BAs instead of bellsing crap. People have no idea the price difference in branded BAs is sometimes an increase of 10X over drivers companies like Aful use. If you are at all familiar with graphs and how an IEM diverges from JM-1 (neutral), plus the different properties of certain driver types (Dynamic vs. BA vs. Planar etc) you can usually guess 90% of what it sounds like. I like options. My only complaint is their shell shape creates a pressure point on the top/back of my ear. Ziigaat's shells are the only ones I've ever had a problem with. CHANGE UP THE SHELL SHAPE GUYS.
r/iems • KZiigaat back at it again ->Ya there is amazing stuff in the 200 to 300 dollar space, really, like the latest run of Ziigaat stuff, Odyssee comes to mind.. And Doscinco.. There is also the Dunu Davinci.. Juzear 61t..we are having our little brains blown out the ear holes at this point. Going up further in price, the tuning seems to get very specific and unique. You really need to know very well what you want. I think most people could stop at something like Odyssee
r/iems • When do IEMs start to get mind-blowing? ->there are 5-10 great IEMs in 230-530 price range which I wouldn't say one of them is better than the others, rly depends on your tuning preference, actual difference to these would be 800+ IEMs, those Ziigaats fall behind a bit in soundstage compared to Volume S, Tea Pro, maybe not Variations but they are all still good just there are better ones for that
r/iems • BEST iem under 500? ->Funny I come across this post as I'm on my way home from an audiophile store after trying their entire price range of IEMs, as well as their expensive DACs and DAPs. Like from $20 IEMs all the way to a $4000 Forte Ears Macbeth they had. Here's what I concluded as a non-audiophile just gaining interest in this hobby. Diminishing returns for IEMs kicks in hard after $300. Sweet spot seems to be around $200-$250. I really liked the Moondrop Kato and a lot of the Ziigaat IEMs they had. Fit and sound quality felt much better than the Zero Reds I currently have. I feel like once you go above into the upper hundreds into thousands USD range it's more personal preference tbh. Favourite one I tried today was a Campfire Audio Clara. With DACs I felt that as long as it could sufficiently power the IEM, it really didn't make a noticeable difference. Couldn't notice a real difference between my JM6 Pro dongle and their $200 ifi DACs, even on the expensive IEMs. And the Apple dongle is pretty bad. It couldn't drive most of the IEMs I tried. Even the ones it could drive they didn't sound good. Just use a JM6 Pro it's even cheaper than the Apple dongle (at least it is in my country). I did notice a quality difference with DAPs though only with the expensive IEMs. It sounded kind of cleaner but honestly not too big from my perspective. For most people you could probably just go up to around the $200-$300 range with an IEM that fits you comfortably with a preferable sound signature, and get an entry level DAC-AMP dongle and just leave and save the rest of your wallet.
r/iems • Need advice : I tried high end IEM but didn't get it. ->I was in a similar boat as OP and bought the tea pros, ziigaats and et142s. After lots of comparison the et142s were the clear winner and surprisingly the cheapest of the three. They’ve been my daily driver ever since and have never felt the need for anything better. Frankly I have a hard time imagining how they could be improved on. Very, very pleased with my simgot et142s. They are endgame for me for now.
