"the dragon 12s are closer to REL 8/12 subs. ... No soundbar has anything close to this sub available. ... The 12s alone make this system untouchable by any other home theater in a box. No comparison!! ... Couple the 12”subs into the experience, you’re not getting that experience short of Svs sub territory. ... It’s a house shaking, chest thumping experience that is not able to be reproduced by any other soundbar or home theater in a box. ... Adding the two 12s to the 8s really has taken the system to the next level. ... The house literally shakes now with honest chest thumping levels. ... BTW, the 12s are RELs! ... The 90 lbs behemoths in the room! ... The chuffing from the 8s many reviewers have noted is gone when used with the 12s."

"nothing trust me nothing will literally hit u that hard not even Canelo Alvarez"

"IER not having absolutely incredible bass is objectively BS. ... The bass reading on the IER is so off what you'll actually hear if you have them inserted properly, it's absolutely ridiculous. ... I have Fatfreq Maestro SE CIEM'D which are their heaviest hitting premium model - CIEM-ing it only make the bass hit much harder, and it's still not quite as heavy as the IER."

"My first pair was good to 1200km before the lugs wore smooth and my second is at 800km and still going."

"the shoe is bomb proof. ... I have over 1000km on my first pair and they’re still amazing."

"I have 350km (only tracking running) on mine so far, no wear in the tread yet and the midsole feels like it's getting better and better, not breaking down."

"i have QKZxHBB and i dont think it has much problems of sibilance, if anything at all ... I dont hear sibilance honestly"

"Especially with regard to micro details, fine nuances and subtleties, they IE900 excel given the right source and audio files. ... Upper frequencies on the IE900 are never fatiguing, always in control and did I mention the extension? Simply amazing what Sennheiser can do with just one small 7mm dynamic driver here. ... Many multi driver IEMs would (still) struggle to compete in bass and treble extenion vs. the IE900. Simply put, it is "flagship level" treble here (as it should)."

"Regarding the treble, definitely an improvement compared to the ZS10 PRO X; They are not sharp like their ancestor, they are well detailed, but they do not penetrate your ear causing that characteristic discomfort. It's so soft to hear the cymbals sizzle after the beat, but without that feeling of penetration."

"Good imaging, soundstage and separation. ... The imaging capabilities of this IEM are very good, you can pinpoint easily where everything is located within the stage ... The soundstage in this IEM is wide and open, in live recording it sounds very spacious and lively, a whole experience. ... the separation is good, and you get good separation between the bass, mids, and treble. ... The technical performance of these IEMs are very good, and does meet the expectations from an IEM in their price range: good imaging and stage, good separation."

"The EA1000 is bright-leaning and sounds very open and spacious. With a live recording, it sounds like you're on stage, a couple of metres away from the band."

"easiest to tune/best platform ... treble smoothness and extension ... takes well to eq"

"love the bassy but not overwhelmingly so (unlike 7hz Zero 2) tuning."

"It's got good bass impact, clean mids, and airy treble that doesn't cross over into sibilance."

"The subwoofer is boomy as fk as every samsung soundbar subwoofer has been, which stems from pushing too much the sub to mimic how actual subs sound like. ... All the previous Samsung subs were boomy af, this wont be an exception because of the aggressive DSP samsung uses in their soundbars."

"oh so muddy bass"

"But no matter how much I tinker with it I just can't kill the bass. ... for me the bass is overpowering. ... I am not a bass head so might not be the best person to answer this but as far as my limited experience goes they are the most bassiest things my ears have had the pleasure (displeasure) to listen to."

"the Mega5EST really relies on tip rolling to get the best performance. ... I prefer the Tea Pro with stock eartips over the Mega5EST Bass+ with stock eartips"

"want more punch and slam without veil all frequency"

"+3~5db over an already boosted bass shelf is definitely not for everyone."

"After 30 minutes of gaming, my ears are burning."

"If you plan on gaming, then the Aether wins hands down. The Quinte is more intimate and has worse imaging than the Aether, in my testing."

"Not every type of music sounds good on them - I don't recommend them for symphonic music, or where there are many instruments (due to small soundstage)"

"Small details in soundstage are way more noticeable in detail & positioning. ... RE2000 isn't a soundstage monster but is definitely wider and more accurate/precise than Explorer. ... That oscillating sound around 10–30 seconds in feels super wide and immersive on the RE2000, like it’s “breathing”. On AFUL, it stays more inside my head. ... Soundstage feels small and intimate."

I'm probably in the minority here, but I have no complaints about a company releasing a ton of options with branded Knowles or Sonion BAs instead of bellsing crap. People have no idea the price difference in branded BAs is sometimes an increase of 10X over drivers companies like Aful use. If you are at all familiar with graphs and how an IEM diverges from JM-1 (neutral), plus the different properties of certain driver types (Dynamic vs. BA vs. Planar etc) you can usually guess 90% of what it sounds like. I like options. My only complaint is their shell shape creates a pressure point on the top/back of my ear. Ziigaat's shells are the only ones I've ever had a problem with. CHANGE UP THE SHELL SHAPE GUYS.

I’m glad to see you compare the size/fit with that of the Doscinco as that is one of my concerns about these. The Doscinco is my largest IEM set and they get uncomfortable after a while, so I had pretty much decided I didn’t want anything else as big or bigger than those for comfort reasons. The other concern is that I can’t decide if the tuning is something I’d like or not just based on the descriptions. I wish someone would compare them with Kiwi Ears’ other new IEM, the Airoso. I know they’re very different IEMs, but hearing about where the tuning is similar or different might help me decide whether or not I’d like the Aether.

The only ZiiGaat IEMs I currently have are the Nuo and the Doscinco. Honestly, all of the recent releases sound intriguing and I wish I could have the opportunity to listen to each of them to figure out which I’d like the best. Arcadia, Arcanus, Arete, Crescent, Estrella, Horizon, Luna, Lush… I just have no idea which one to choose!

Are you American is the first question, because with all the price fluctuations, I don't quite know how to give a recommendation. The Tea Pros are tried and tested goodness so that's a good option. The doscinco and it's other variant is also pretty decent. The ziigat odyssey is also a pretty good choice.

It’ll depend a lot on the things you like in your music. The DaVinci and DosCinco are more forward with female vocals than the Performer 7 or the S08. S08 is a bit more forward than the P7. P7 is the most neutral of the bunch. Best bass is going to depend on what you’re specifically looking for. Sub bass rumble is probably best on the DosCinco, while the S08 has my favorite mid-bass punch. The DaVinci is nice, but can be a bit soft. The P7 sounds amazingly tight and accurate, but is lacking in intensity compared to the other three, which are much bassier. Cymbals your thing? The Performer 7 is airy and detailed and wonderful. The DaVinci is a close 2nd, but isn’t as smooth as the P7. I would say, if you want dynamic sound that makes those genres sound as exciting as possible, try and get the DosCinco on sale. It’s probably the best fit for Hip/Hop-Rap and Metal overall. The Performer 7 might be too neutral for your tastes, but it’s in my opinion, probably the most detailed and resolving of the bunch. The S08 is great as well, and might be the best value overall, but if you have the budget for the DosCinco and the DaVinci, then I would go for one of those. I personally prefer the DosCinco over the DaVinci, especially on sale. But if you’re sensitive to pressure issues or driver flex, I encountered driver flex on the DosCinco, but not on the DaVinci.

I haven't heard the Arete but have back to backed the Doscinos and Hype 4. To me the Hype 4 was significantly better but that's just my ears. The EW300 sounded very similar to the Hype 4s to me just less technical and nuanced but I was extremely impressed with them for the price.

Obviously the ZiiGaat Horizon looks interesting as it's their first foray into planars. I've always quite liked the ZiiGaat Doscinco and the ZiiGaat Luna. Only ZiiGaat iem I currently own is the Cinno.

Ya there is amazing stuff in the 200 to 300 dollar space, really, like the latest run of Ziigaat stuff, Odyssee comes to mind.. And Doscinco.. There is also the Dunu Davinci.. Juzear 61t..we are having our little brains blown out the ear holes at this point. Going up further in price, the tuning seems to get very specific and unique. You really need to know very well what you want. I think most people could stop at something like Odyssee
