"Lunas: fantastic flat response but leans brighter than the Horizon, lacking in bass quantity but quality of bass mids and treble are all excellent. Reference-sound with sparkly airy treble emphasis."
"Its treble sits about-even with the upper-mids, and extends cleanly out beyond 15KHz."

"Unfortunately Ziigaat's shell shape creates pressure points near the upper ear. ... My only complaint is their shell shape creates a pressure point on the top/back of my ear. ... Ziigaat's shells are the only ones I've ever had a problem with. CHANGE UP THE SHELL SHAPE GUYS."
"My only issue is that due to the lack of a wing for added stability, the shell can literally do a 360 in my ear. ... So what this means is that there is no set stable position for the shells to rest in my ears. ... Almost like the shells are free floating, and the only thing keeping them in play is the fact that I have the nozzle in a nice deep insertion."

A very nice review, I enjoyed reading it. The Luna is a fairly technical headphone. This setup seems to have been designed with the Harman community in mind; you get tight, booming bass without any midrange interference. Mids? Slightly retracted, yes, but still natural, with a good sense of body, especially for male vocals. Highs are clear, perhaps a bit too confident for my taste, but also smooth. No treble, no skull-piercing peaks. Imaging is solid, the soundstage... not bad, nothing holographic, but not claustrophobic either. My opinion: If you're into a more relaxed, bass-tilted, engaging listen — get the Luna. "If you're chasing that reference-style, mid-centric, audiophile-grade clarity — Arcanis is the one."
r/iems • All-BA IEMs have gotten so much better since I first started. The Luna is *great* ->Luna or Horizon. I live my Doscincos, so I’ve turned into a big fan of Ziigaat!
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->As you said, pr2 and PR3. Not prx. Prx is really tbh and I'm saying this as a person who only bought it to see if kz had already found the formula to cheaper Planars. I find it in many ways superior to the Short Luna which i also own but idk about the p20 since I don't have one. Prx vs T10, T10 wins but not really by much, it's more detailed and the soundstage a bit wider but at the same time the treble is harsher in some moments, something that incredible, the prx isn't
r/iems • Suggestions for first planar magnetic driver iem ->I really like the Ziigaat Luna
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Obviously the ZiiGaat Horizon looks interesting as it's their first foray into planars. I've always quite liked the ZiiGaat Doscinco and the ZiiGaat Luna. Only ZiiGaat iem I currently own is the Cinno.
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Agreed . I have got this too https://preview.redd.it/5gc3ikxo4pnf1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=861078919b7adb56ed335894125fab7252f8ad84
r/iems • Ziigaat Luna, the studio experience with warmth. ->I just got the Ziigaat Luna about two weeks ago, but I'm thinking of returning it. Just feels like the BAs cant give me thay real sub bass impact. So guess I'll see how this ome is tuned. Im considering the Ziigaat Crescent, Punch Audio Martilo, Juzear 81T, and now the Ziigaat Horizon as my Luna replacement.
r/iems • KZiigaat back at it again ->ZiiGaat Luna is soooooo slept on... High-quality Balanced Armature Drivers, Tuned at neutrality (Not for the headbanging bassheads), just peak perfect for people like me who love listening to all genres
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Softears could sell it for much cheaper. The Ziigaat Luna has 6 branded BAs and costs $379. That's almost half the price. We need companies to push each other to sell products at lower cost.
r/iems • Comment best 2025 IEMs please? Which are you excited for? ->I'd say the Crinear Daybreak is a great release as it's the cheapest meta tuned Iem. I really like the Ziigaat Luna and I still wanna try out the letshuoer mystic 8. Not really interested in the monarch Mk4, software RSV5 mk2, Xenns Top Pro (I've owned the Top og) or the Odyssey 2. The Moondrop Meteor DE could be quite interesting. The Hercules Audio Noah was quite famous on canjam (and seems to be sold out rn)
r/iems • Comment best 2025 IEMs please? Which are you excited for? ->I would go for the Ziigaat Luna
r/iems • Best IEM for casual listening & music production? ->It's really smooth, very detailed. Enough bass and good mids. Very well tuned IEM. And its not dead neutral. And if you are from Germany you can get them quite cheap second hand. https://ebay.de/m/PQ7aNQ https://ebay.us/m/UB18Do https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/ziigaat-luna-in-ear-monitor/3184084543-172-4388?utm_source=sharesheet&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_android Edit: if you want something dead neutral I would look at the etymotic lineup. Etymotics Er2se is really flat. I personally wouldn't use something like that but if it's what you want to for it.
r/iems • Best IEM for casual listening & music production? ->The following is an abridged version of [my full-length review which you can find here](https://resonancereviews.com/ziigaat-luna-review-an-all-ba-iem-done-right-1b70ce304208). If you're looking for more photos and in-depth comparisons, that's where you'll find it. # ZiiGaat Luna Review: An All-BA IEM Done Right *ZiiGaat Sticks the Landing with the Luna’s 6x BA Driver Setup* ZiiGaat is in full “throw everything at the wall” mode, releasing IEM after IEM after IEM. This blistering pace is exhausting for consumers and reviewers alike, though it does yield the occasional strong performer. Today we’re covering the Luna, a new 6-BA IEM from ZiiGaat. It isn’t cheap, but it’s one of the few recent ZiiGaat releases I can speak of with true personal enthusiasm. Let’s get into the details. You can find the Luna for sale [here, on Linsoul](https://www.linsoul.com/products/ziigaat-luna?_pos=1&_psq=luna&_ss=e&_v=1.0&sca_ref=7082564.NgMGyECXx7), for $379. # The Big Picture ***Pros:*** * Open, airy, and clean sound * Full-spectrum sonic completeness * Excellent mid-bass control * Zero sibilance * Strong accessory package ***Cons:*** * Mild upper-treble grain * Modular cable lacks affirmative locking mechanism * Cable feels basic given price-tag # Tech Specs * Drivers: 6x balanced armature (2x Sonion 39AY008, 2x Knowles 32873, 2x, Knowles 33518) * Impedance: 26Ω * Sensitivity: 103dB SPL/mW * Cable: 0.78mm 2-pin w/ modular termination (3.5mm, 4.4mm) # Sound Signature The Luna targets a “professional” style of tuning, aiming to serve as a competent reference tool that is still fun and engaging. That said, it is essentially a gently-V-shaped IEM with a slight mid-bass tuck. The Luna has a forward midrange, with the bulk of its presence concentrated around the 2–3KHz range. Its treble sits about-even with the upper-mids, and extends cleanly out beyond 15KHz. The Luna’s bass is slightly elevated beyond its lower-mids, and carries out nicely below 50Hz. # Conclusion The Luna is an outstanding all-BA IEM. Actually, scratch that, the Luna is an outstanding IEM, period. Its technical performance, refined tuning, and decisive bass response make it a flexible and reliable companion for discerning listeners. While I wish ZiiGaat would use full-resin (as opposed to hollow-resin) shells and utilize nicer cables, there’s nothing *wrong* with what comes in the box as it stands. The Luna is poised to be a fantastic out-of-the-box experience for those who want a balanced, technical, and organic IEM. **Who This is For** * Listeners looking to maximize performance without sacrificing timbre * Those who want a gently-V-shaped IEM * Buyers who are willing to trade a little bass intensity for control **Who This isn’t For** * Bassheads * Diehard dynamic-driver fans * Those who are rough with their IEMs * Buyers who primarily to electronic music As always, happy listening!
r/iems • All-BA IEMs have gotten so much better since I first started. The Luna is *great* ->The Horizon is in my opinion a known classic in the iem world, it's beloved by a lot of reviewers and ordinary customers. But I had the chance to try a friends pair of the Luna and I really enjoyed it. So for me I would have to go for either the Luna or the Arete
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->Honestly, with my current collection, I think the P7 is amazing. I prefer it over my Volume S and Mangird Tea Pro. I think the only few IEMs that beats it for me are the Kiwi Ears Astral and Ziigaat Luna (sometimes). Let me know if you have a few specific IEMs that you're interested in, I can try give my impressions of them if I have them.
r/iems • My IEM journey and quick subjective reviews of the entry level IEMs I have purchased so far. ->From what I have, the Kiwi Ears Astral. However, the Performer 5+2 is also amazing especially considering its cheaper as well. I would take 5+2 over Odyssey and over Luna (this one just because of price). Odyssey for general overall usage over Luna as well.
r/iems • My IEM journey and quick subjective reviews of the entry level IEMs I have purchased so far. ->i really love the luna and horizon
r/iems • ZiiGaat Horizon GIVEAWAY!! Enter now from 10/6 to 10/12!! ->The treble is a little darker on studio 2 compared to those listed from me but I think your right on this where DD midbass sounds muddy if boosted like this. One of the reason I own Luna is to try out eqing to the target which I personally finds pretty good sounding
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->Ye I did eq most of my iems to try out ,my lineup currently is supermix4,moondrop meteor, kiwiears ke4 and ziigaat Luna, maybe I can order a custom studio 2 or yume 4 then XD
r/headphones • New IEM tierlist 2025 ->Tbh cheapest one and the first one I got was tanchjim ola bass, driver died in 1 months, might be qc, then goes to moondrop lan and moondrop may, like may a lot but I dropped may by accident (too comfy in my ears and forgot about using it on my PC) eventually looks around in YouTube. Then goes with kiwi ears ke4 kinda regret after having the later few iem. Then watched some reviews and bought supermix4 ,like it but the shell fell out, glue issue.Decided to go for semi end game iem and buyed moondrop meteor and ziigaat Luna loving both but would still buy may if I didn't buy the end games then I have.
r/iems • I'm an IEMs absolute noob, and I wanted to give them a try. What was your first IEMs? Do you regret it? What would you get as a first cheap one if you could do it again? ->I would consider the Horizons a pretty solid step up, personally. I have the Dusks, Horizons, Lunas, and Hype 4's at the moment and any of these would be a worthwhile upgrade depending on what you want (though 'worthwhile' is relative and subjective, obviously). I think the $3-400 is a great sweet spot atm. Supermix bass quality is only OK and their mids are thin to me. Supermixes punch above their weight in technicalities for sure but Horizons are still better in every technical metric except for their soundstage which is probably about the same. Horizons: very good/great in every aspect, lean a little bright, not a ton of bass but bass quality is very good. Feel like they would be a direct upgrade to the Supermix if you like their sound signature Lunas: fantastic flat response but leans brighter than the Horizon, lacking in bass quantity but quality of bass mids and treble are all excellent. Reference-sound with sparkly airy treble emphasis. Slightly more technical than the other 3 Hype 4: more 'fun' sound great bass extension and impact though bass quality can be a bit muddy, treble response very similar to Supermix but better quality more airy and shimmery. If you like the treble response of Supermixes but want more bass Dusk: My personal favorite of the 4. On their DSP Default tuning: absolutely fantastic bass both in quality and quantity, mids are similarly just perfect to my ear, full of body and never shouty, and treble similar to the Hype and Supermix. Issue with Dusks is their standard tuning on an analog 3.5mm cable is a bit too bright and treble while airy and sparkly gets fatiguing... IMO you either need to use the DSP cable or EQ them some other way to have them reach their full potential. They EQ better than any IEM's I've personally ever tried, it's wild what you can get out of them. Anyway, as with anything in IEM's and audio in general 'worthwhile upgrade' is subjective. The listed IEM's all cost like $150-$200 more so if the extra $ is too big an ask then I would say don't feel like you're missing out on anything and enjoy the Supermixes, EQ them if you wanna feel like you changed IEM's without spending any $.
r/iems • My Ziigaat Horizon Review - Detail Beast? ->I'm probably in the minority here, but I have no complaints about a company releasing a ton of options with branded Knowles or Sonion BAs instead of bellsing crap. People have no idea the price difference in branded BAs is sometimes an increase of 10X over drivers companies like Aful use. If you are at all familiar with graphs and how an IEM diverges from JM-1 (neutral), plus the different properties of certain driver types (Dynamic vs. BA vs. Planar etc) you can usually guess 90% of what it sounds like. I like options. My only complaint is their shell shape creates a pressure point on the top/back of my ear. Ziigaat's shells are the only ones I've ever had a problem with. CHANGE UP THE SHELL SHAPE GUYS.
r/iems • KZiigaat back at it again ->Ya there is amazing stuff in the 200 to 300 dollar space, really, like the latest run of Ziigaat stuff, Odyssee comes to mind.. And Doscinco.. There is also the Dunu Davinci.. Juzear 61t..we are having our little brains blown out the ear holes at this point. Going up further in price, the tuning seems to get very specific and unique. You really need to know very well what you want. I think most people could stop at something like Odyssee
r/iems • When do IEMs start to get mind-blowing? ->there are 5-10 great IEMs in 230-530 price range which I wouldn't say one of them is better than the others, rly depends on your tuning preference, actual difference to these would be 800+ IEMs, those Ziigaats fall behind a bit in soundstage compared to Volume S, Tea Pro, maybe not Variations but they are all still good just there are better ones for that
r/iems • BEST iem under 500? ->Funny I come across this post as I'm on my way home from an audiophile store after trying their entire price range of IEMs, as well as their expensive DACs and DAPs. Like from $20 IEMs all the way to a $4000 Forte Ears Macbeth they had. Here's what I concluded as a non-audiophile just gaining interest in this hobby. Diminishing returns for IEMs kicks in hard after $300. Sweet spot seems to be around $200-$250. I really liked the Moondrop Kato and a lot of the Ziigaat IEMs they had. Fit and sound quality felt much better than the Zero Reds I currently have. I feel like once you go above into the upper hundreds into thousands USD range it's more personal preference tbh. Favourite one I tried today was a Campfire Audio Clara. With DACs I felt that as long as it could sufficiently power the IEM, it really didn't make a noticeable difference. Couldn't notice a real difference between my JM6 Pro dongle and their $200 ifi DACs, even on the expensive IEMs. And the Apple dongle is pretty bad. It couldn't drive most of the IEMs I tried. Even the ones it could drive they didn't sound good. Just use a JM6 Pro it's even cheaper than the Apple dongle (at least it is in my country). I did notice a quality difference with DAPs though only with the expensive IEMs. It sounded kind of cleaner but honestly not too big from my perspective. For most people you could probably just go up to around the $200-$300 range with an IEM that fits you comfortably with a preferable sound signature, and get an entry level DAC-AMP dongle and just leave and save the rest of your wallet.
r/iems • Need advice : I tried high end IEM but didn't get it. ->I was in a similar boat as OP and bought the tea pros, ziigaats and et142s. After lots of comparison the et142s were the clear winner and surprisingly the cheapest of the three. They’ve been my daily driver ever since and have never felt the need for anything better. Frankly I have a hard time imagining how they could be improved on. Very, very pleased with my simgot et142s. They are endgame for me for now.
