"It actually changes the sound signature which is why I prefer them on my BL03s. It turns already infamously bassy IEMs into true bass cannons, I love the effect."
"Great hard hitting bassy IEM ... a lot of Energy and intensity ... if you get a good fit with those, they are from the most agrressive punches i have hear on a budget, and i have tried like 30 iems or so, some way more expensive (not to flex, is just that, i rarely have found a similar quality of punch on an iem despite trying various options) ... If you want punch, BL03 it is"
"Is a more balanced tuning, and its noticeable, you don't miss the bass shelf at all, in fact, is more defined, is fast, with a good amount of sub and mid bass presence, so even in bass heavy tracks is so enjoyable. ... The mids, as the graphic shows, better upper mids so is better with male and female vocals, and the instruments sounds good aswell. ... The highs, again, look at the graph, better treble and is a little more extended than the og, so is a pleasant and not sibilant surprise. ... the Bl-03 is more bassy and the bass kick is more noticeable, the mids are less forwarded but the uppermids are so well tuned so is better in the vocal department, the highs are more crisp ... Yup, is the same type of bass, is fast, defined, punchy and not bleeds into the mids, i loved that"

"Unlike many budget IEMs that use plastic housings, the BL-03 features a robust metal build. ... This not only enhances durability but also gives it a premium feel that is rare at this price point."

"Technicalities are more than good in this guys, macro and microdetails are above its price, the timbre is so natural, imaging is excellent, and the soundstage is incredibly huge. ... The soundstage is wider than the TKZK TK02, the imaging is better and is more transparent. ... a wider soundstage and good imaging, is so transparent and the macro and microdetails retrieval is punching above its price."

"but the fit is terrible"
"The new one has 2-pin but it has all the ergonomic problems that plagued the original, so I don't think it should be recommended at all"
"Fit might not be great thanks to their particular shape and short reaching nozzle (the nozzle might not be large enough to enter properly into your ear canal) ... the nozzle itself is on the smaller side."

"The wax buildup, cleaning, wire problems, pin problem are no joke when it comes to cheaper iems, they break easily. ... I have had moondrop sparks, blon 03, tangzu wan'er, monk plus etc and although they sound great, they all had some problems within a year or two. ... Also as an iem owner i wouldn't suggest buying it if they are thinking of using it for longer sessions."

Iem user for over 10 years now. Never had any issues with iems. Wanted to tey hps anf got Lcd2c. Sold it off and went back to my iems. Speakers are still king followed by iems to me. Budget ones that you can look into are: Waner Zero/Zero 2 Chu ii Gate Blon 03 i/ii
r/IndianGaming • earphone over headphones nowadays.. ->Metal and rock on my BL03😌
r/iems • Budget Metal/rock/punk lovers unite. ->BLON BL-O3 would suit your purposes nicely. I bought one a while back and was very pleasantly surprised. It punches well above its price. Good luck with your search.
r/iems • Recommend me an IEM for less than $100 ->[BLON-BL03](https://amzn.in/d/82ebapa) with [this QDC 3.5 cable](https://amzn.in/d/dTnslqF)
r/pune • Hello audiophiles of pune Is there any shop from where I can get IEMs ? ->I don't know how these IEM manufactures interpret "basshead" as someone who loves to hear big explosions that will overpower every other instrument and vocal, instead of punchier, cleaner, hard hitting bass, that won't bleed into other frequencies. It sounds so simple, yet impossible for them to understand. I am currently satisfied with the bass I get on Blon bl03 and performer 5.

r/headphones • Rank your headphones (2025 edition) ->KZ Saga Balanced are one of the best musical IEM's with solid bass performance in the price range. The BL-03 II is very similar to the BL-03, its a little crisper, and more detailed than the OG. But its OK to sacrifice some of the OG's note weight for more detail and texture. I also think the new BL-03 II is built a little better, has a nice cable, and fits better in the ear. I would suggest Spinfit Omni's or Dunu Candy tips for it though. The stock tips are...meh. Though it is a more gaming oriented IEM, the 7Hrz G1 is also very nice and V shaped in its tuning.
r/iems • Best iem for electronic music / techno under 30€? ->My BLON BL03 2 have the same effect on me; I come back to them often and I love them
r/iems • Truthear Hexa is Still Goated ->This is great. I started off with the Blon BL03 from HeadphoneZone and later attended their Connect event in Kochi last year. Got to try a ton of quality gear that day. I hope this "wired" trend catches on and we soon get an experience store in Kochi from any of the key players.
r/iems • Purchasing advice for Audiophiles in India ->? These don't sound like the BL03, but they definitely aren't lacking in bass, especially not midbass. You most likely aren't getting a proper seal, or maybe you got a faulty set. I would actually say that the CCA CRA is one of the most BL03-like IEMs, although the BL03 is better. The overall tonality is quite similar. The HBB is much warmer, with less of that sparkly upper treble that the BL03 has. The only other one I've heard that's a bit like the BL03, but a bit bassier and not quite as resolving, is the Tripowin Piccolo. It also has a more normal fit than the BL03. It's pretty good if you find it on sale - it's not so well known because it was way overpriced at release into a very competitive market at the time. If you're looking for something that sounds *exactly* like the BL03, you pretty much need to stick to the BL03 itself. There's a new version just been released with a 2pin connector. They changed the tuning slightly but I haven't heard it. Not many reviews yet. HBB says it's good, but his review is a bit hand-wavy.
r/iems • Just got my Qkz × HBB.. ->Not really in order, as different tunings: * Moondrop Chu 2 - mild v-shape, great IEM * QKZ HBB - warm/bassy, great IEM * Blon BL03 - fun v-shape (but the fit is terrible) Bright neutral has a few options - I prefer the original Chu but the crappy fixed cable lets it down. The 7Hz Zero is a bit better in that regard, but I don't think it sounds quite as good. Arguably it's better to pay the extra for the Moondrop LAN for this signature because it's the best one until you go up significantly, but OTOH it's also kind of overpriced for what it is (I think it's around $40 normally, but it's basically just a Chu 2 with less bass). The 7Hz Zero 2 is OK as well but I personally find it a bit of an overly safe middle ground between other, better IEMs. Like the QKZ HBB, if you want warm but don't want to go quite that warm. It's probably the one that's the closest competitor to the Wan'er, as a better all-rounder. Although I find the Wan'er has a stand-out feature in its vocals while being weaker elsewhere, but the Zero 2 doesn't have a single stand-out thing it does better than anything else. It could maybe get the award for the okayest $20 IEM, as it doesn't do anything bad, but nothing stands out as particularly good either. You also have things like the KZ EDC Pro as probably the best beginner IEM, for around $5. It's very close to the Chu 2 but a bit bassier and slightly less refined in the treble. Probably more comfortable than the Chu 2 and less prone to condensation issues. The KZ Castor Bass, around $15, is good for a really hard-hitting bass tuning, although it's not an all-rounder and the tuning is a bit grainy.
r/iems • Wan’er S.G’s I don’t get the hype ->I wouldn't list the QKZ Hades, as it's pretty universally hated, unless you specifically mention that it's a *very* niche tuning most people don't like (even most bassheads). And even among people who like it at all, it's generally a one-genre set. I'd strike the Juzear Clear off the list because it appears to have [really bad unit variance](https://old.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1insj4z/some_thoughts_on_the_juzear_clear_and_myer_audio/). I still recommend it for the cable if it's on sale for $20, but only if you really want that cable (it normally costs about $15-20 on its own). It's not a highly recommended IEM anyway, it just had a brief period of hype as a basshead IEM. Rarely gets mentioned nowadays. Neither of my two units are true basshead sets (and one is quite bright), so clearly some golden units went out to reviewers. The Blon BL03 ii hasn't got particularly good reviews. It seems to be that if you care about tuning, the original is better. The new one has 2-pin but it has all the ergonomic problems that plagued the original, so I don't think it should be recommended at all, with maybe a nod to the original as being a classic if people are able to pick one up cheaply. I don't think the KBear KB02 is worth recommending unless you specifically want to know what a BC driver does, in which case it's the cheapest way to get one. I got one for that reason. It sounds pretty bad. All the reviews point out the same issue - there's some weird "springy" resonances, especially noticeable with spoken word. It also makes everything sound like you're listening through a cardboard tube. It's just weird, not good. Audio Amigo and Paul Wasabii both have good reviews btw, I agree with pretty much everything they say about them. I don't see the Tin Hifi C2 mentioned on your original list or the new one. That's a 2025 version out recently. I have both and they are both excellent. Lots of reviews out there, but fewer for the 2025 version. I'm not sure if the old one is being discontinued, but it seems to be still for sale for about $20 while the new one is closer to $40. The difference between the two versions is quite subtle. The Moondrop Starfield 2 got pretty universally terrible reviews. The Juzear 41t and the Flame are the same IEM, so I'd put them on the same line - the flame just has a different faceplate. I have the 41t and it's good aside from the annoyingly bad venting, but I'm hesitant about recommending it for the reasons mentioned in my post about the Clear. Since it's a hybrid it really *should* be fully vented and I now consider this an engineering flaw rather than "just the way it is". Every other manufacturer seems to be able to vent their hybrid IEMs properly. The 7Hz Timeless probably shouldn't be on the list because it's very outdated nowadays. It's only a classic because it was the first reasonably-tuned planar, not because it's good by current standards. It was still an early and not-very-refined version of a formula that's been iterated on continually since then. The AE is better but less widely reviewed. The 2 seems to be getting good reviews but I believe it's closer to $300.
r/iems • IEM Mega Pick List Update 2 (Sub $50/$100/$200?). ->I purchased qkz hbb out of curiosity. I prefer warm or warm meutral. Im a bit treble sensitive. I have ew300 in my cart. I want to purchase it but i was wondering about the treble. Can any one recommend any other warm or warm neutral set with smooth treble and no sibilance. I already have 7hz zero 2 (perfect for my ear, no eq) final e3000, and blon bl03 (eq the treble). Kz zs10 pro (huge amount of eq)
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->For 1. I still love my Blon03 and it has been on my active rotation for years now. I guess I love the timbre. * Dac/AMP type and eartip does affect the sound presentation. Some examples: My RSV’s bass went missing and treble presentation sounded dark on FC6 even if I tip roll. I found it best paired with ibasso Nunchaku, midbass presence is better and treble became noticeable. Also low gain + slow filter is best paired with RSV. Symphonium Meteor and Titan treble went missing after tiprolling. Stock tips were still the best for me. Symphonium Titan midbass went missing, subass sucked and treble became splashy with Akliam FC6. Titan and Meteor are nicely paired with ZX707, bass was really good and treble became present however sound feels congested and too intimate. This was greatly improved with Topping G5 by widening the soundstage and provided with a really clean sound, at the expense of ruining the sparkly treble of Meteor and great subbass of Titan. It did cut off those peaky highs and lows for a clean and wide presentation.
r/iems • What are your audio unpopular opinions? ->Deuce may be a bit too much bass, depends on preference. Yes, you can always turn the bass down in eq, but if this is your first iem I would try out something way cheaper first like a wan'er, edc pro, bl-03 2 or cadenza to figure out what you like/dislike in an iem. There isn't much point in dropping $300+ straight off the bat imo, it doesn't mean it's that much better or even that you'll necessarily like it at all.
r/iems • Pls recommend me an IEM under $300 for hip hop, rock and metal ->the blon bl-03.
r/iems • What’s an IEM you’d tell 99% of people to blind buy? ->Yeah at that price and given the sound signature there were no technical faults you could complain about, it's no slouch for sure, especially at the time of its release.
r/iems • What’s an IEM you’d tell 99% of people to blind buy? ->well well, look what we got here, Mail Call: Blon Bl-03 2 and TKZK TK02... The second guy, well, we talk about it in another time. The Blon Bl-03 2 came with that card from linsoul, I'm new to the brand, so the earphones are weird to me 😅 sorry... Nice packaging tho, a good amount of eartips. But I sensed a problem...My fitting problem was not the nozzle, in fact, the new nozzle is a fix of the shallow nozzle of the og, look at the picture... The only problem i encountered with the Blon is the stock cable, supposedly is better (not my words), but nah, I stole the stock cable of the Kefine Klean and atm that's all the fix i needed for this guys. Now, the tasty part: The Blon Bl-03 II is in fact the upgrade to the legendary Bl-03 og. They put it with a little less bass shelf, improved the mids and highs so... What does that in the overall sound of this guys? Is a more balanced tuning, and its noticeable, you don't miss the bass shelf at all, in fact, is more defined, is fast, with a good amount of sub and mid bass presence, so even in bass heavy tracks is so enjoyable. The mids, as the graphic shows, better upper mids so is better with male and female vocals, and the instruments sounds good aswell. The highs, again, look at the graph, better treble and is a little more extended than the og, so is a pleasant and not sibilant surprise. Technicalities are more than good in this guys, macro and microdetails are above its price, the timbre is so natural, imaging is excellent, and the soundstage is incredibly huge. For 30ish dollars this Blon Bl-03 II is a no brainer. Btw, the Dunu dtc480 kicks ass.
r/iems • Blon Bl-03 II, the upgrade to a legend ->I’ve used ear buds, then iems for ages. However, my first chifi iems, and obsession started with the KZ ZS10pro. I was amazed by the detail and resolution. So much so, that i tried very hard to overlook the brain piercing sibilance that came with it. However, in the end it became too much and i had to swap to a set of Blon-03’s. Thus began my journey into upgrading chifi iems. I think I’m onto my 9th “upgrade” since then… I don’t use the KZ’s anymore but still have them.
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->I miss my BLON 03. The sound quality was unreal for its price.
r/iems • These are the most recommended IEMs on Reddit (r/iems VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I wouldn’t describe the nothing ear 1 as smooth and balanced at all. You’re looking more at a very warm and bassy sound with forward mids and good air. Considering that, I might suggest the Blon BL-03 II. It’s way under your asking price, but I’m sure it will fit your sound preference just fine. You might be disappointed if you go for a $150 IEM straight away. The difference isn’t that big anyway IMO. The Blon’s might surprise you with how much better they will sound to your nothing ears. https://graph.hangout.audio/iem/5128/?share=Ear_(1),BL03_2 If you’re looking to spend closer to your price, consider the EW300. https://graph.hangout.audio/iem/5128/?share=Ear_(1),EW300_(Pink) I must say I don’t agree with the other persons suggestion of a EA500LM. Will likely lack bass for your preference.
r/iems • Best IEM under $150 for me? ->Blon 03… they out perform a lot of my 150$ iems.. at 36$ it’s the best price to performance iem out there..
r/iems • Which Iem should I upgrade to from AliExpress? ->I don’t.. but I own a pair of blon bl03 that I really like.. they’re 35$ and compete with some of my 100-150$ iems my 360$ xenns tea pro can keep up with my 1000$ fidue a91 iems in certain areas.. but yeah going from. 30$ iem to 250$ is going to be a a big step up in sound, quality and accessories.. same if you go from 100$ to 500/1000$..
r/iems • ~$250 IEM Recommendation ->But there are some really good iems in the 30-80$ range that would be just fine for most people.. truthear hexa and truthear blue and red.. simgot ew300.. blon 03.. tangzu fudu are all pretty good..
r/iems • ~$250 IEM Recommendation ->It was my first iem I ever had too about 15 years ago.. there’s better options for sure now a days but I still love the se215.. for 30$ I recommend the blon 03.. great tuning for music.. a lot of people on here are going to tell you that the shure se215 are outdated and not worth it.. but as long as you like them that’s all that matters..
r/iems • I'm new to IEM how'd I do? ->Blon BL-03 Blon Z300 Shozy P20 Hidizs MP145
r/inearfidelity • Looking for bass heavy IEM under $150 ->Not saying they are worse, if anything they provide better experience when it comes to sound. Just in my experience it hasn't been as useful as I thought when it comes to directional audio and it's product life, left and right audio is alright but not much help to me when it's any other direction. Also as an iem owner i wouldn't suggest buying it if they are thinking of using it for longer sessions. The wax buildup, cleaning, wire problems, pin problem are no joke when it comes to cheaper iems, they break easily. I have had moondrop sparks, blon 03, tangzu wan'er, monk plus etc and although they sound great, they all had some problems within a year or two.

r/iems • IEM suggestion under 60$ for bass head lover and kick drum lover ->Well for planar Letshuoer S08 is my first Planar IEM. I had Blon Bl 03 previously which was single driver DD. For headphones, DT 770 pro, DT 770 pro x, FiiO JT1 Above ones are that I own. Few I tried is like aful explorer, Letshuoer s12 , Arti t10
r/iems • Best planar iem? ->Blon Bl 03, used it a lot. Still working. Though very recently I got Letshuoer S08. So not using Bl 03 currently.
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->I have kz, salnotes, qkz, trn and blon. I'd say my fave is the blon, sound quality and fit is perfect for me.
r/Tech_Philippines • IEM recommendations ->The "musical" aspect was the main reason why most people liked it. The technical performance has never been a strenght on that set but it really raised the bar in terms of overall sound enjoyment, tonal balance and so on.
r/iems • What’s an IEM you’d tell 99% of people to blind buy? ->Overear style at around RM100: Koss KSC75 It is a clip on over ear style wear, but you can mod it adding the headband with mods join r/kossmods if you want to see how they do it DIY, very active subreddit Koss Porta Pro It has a headband by default if you don't want to mod KSC75, this headphone sounds bass-ier then KSC75 AKG K52 (K72 & K92 is more expensive) Sony brand entry level priced options is bassy muddy no clarity, not good Senheiser brand you need to spend alot more to have comparable level of quality Audio technica, Focal, Audeze, Hifiman Abyss, Grado all way overprice In Ear Monitor style headphones at around RM100: Moondrop Chu 2 (if you can spend more, get Moondrop Lan) Tangzu Wan Er SG (vocal/singer forward tuning) Blon BL03 (if enjoyment is what you want) Simgot EW200 (good "clarity" but very sibilant sound) I bet many people here will recommend KZ, QKZ, or CCA, i see too many reports of QC issue and DOA case to suggest avoid at all cost, very shady handling of stock All of the above are wired headphones, you want real good quality headphones, get wired, wireless cannot compare, because bluetooth cannot do lossless audio playback, even with Qualcomm Aptx HD or Sony LDAC Source: i can qualify as an audiophile, tried many headphones
r/Bolehland • Headphone recommendations ->Waners, Castors, Abyss, Cadenza, Moondrop Chu 2, Blon bl3 2 are some iems you can consider. Most iems these days are good enough for flac music in this price range, only the tuning differs. As they're wired, they dont have a battery to degrade so they can ladt you forever. Just keep them away from sweat and moisture of any kind since that damages them. Considering most iems are 3.5mm, you will need a dac which converts type c to 3.5mm (digital to analog) and lets you take full advantage of your iems as it improves the sound and volumes as well. Even if you have a 3.5 on your phone or laptop, a dac will make the iems sound better.
r/headphonesindia • First-time IEM buyer seeking advice: FLAC music and gaming focus ->since youll be wearing it for longer hours, trust me, you need an iem which fits flush with your ear(like truthear gate), or has a small form factor (like Blon BL-03). Most of the offerings from kz, cca, and even tangzu have big shells which after sometime may hurt. My first iem was Salnotes Zero. Had such a pointy shape it started hurting after 15mins of use. Even tho i liked its sound, i had to return it. I say buy Truthear Gate, and a dac like KZ AM-01(i daily drive). Gate has a sound which you can listen to for hours, and it sits flush with my ear (my ears are big). Soo yea, try them out. One can always eq with wavelet to get a different sound signature, since eq is the only thing we budget sound enthusiasts got. Money? no bueno.
r/headphonesindia • Suggest me some IEMs ->And then you realise you enjoy all kinds of tuning and you become a hapless addict like the rest of us ! I like a bumping BLON 3 type sound when I’m out and about, but for an eyes closed at home session, the salnotes 7hz zero v1 have a presentation that is more source faithful and reward you for attentive listening
r/iems • Best out of these as my first iem ??? ->Blon BL-03, and no but that thing was my work horse for years.
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->The cheapest I have are the Blon bl03 ($30) and they sound great.
r/iems • How much do I need to spend so my iem doesn't sound cheap? ->Haven’t heard the deuce yet but would say try every tip you have laying around before giving up on them. To not be impressed coming from bl-03 sounds crazy. I’ve had the bl03, arias, OH10 and now doscinco and the OH10 & doscinco are so much better than the arias/blons it’s not even close. From the feedback I’ve found this doesn’t sound right and may be a tip sealing issue. If they just don’t work for you, can def recommend the doscincos. They aren’t basshead stock but with the iso dd drivers they take EQ like a champ and become monsters.
r/iems • Need advice, underwhelmed by FatFreq Deuce ->When i asked about Give me recommendations for blon bl03 like sounds iem few people suggested this this. And my first impression was fuck Noo. This thing not even close to blon 03. This thing completely lack mid bassy bass i specifically asked for in the og post. Im not even sure these people actually listen to these iems before giving advice to others. I have bought my mother a CCA CRA & This thing sounding more closer to CCA CRA than blon bl03. For future buyers - If you looking for The mid bassy bass (ex- the bass guitar sound) This doesn't have it. This just flat sounding & Doesn't fun to listen at all. Now im gon buy some dunu eartips and trying to get a good fit from my blon. Prolly gon gift this shit to one of my relatives.
r/iems • Just got my Qkz × HBB.. ->Got my dunu s& s today. They fits perfectly with my blon. Finally i can listen to music comfortably with my blons. Just in case had to buy full eartips package (s,m,L,XL) rip money. Lol i spent so much for this blon.
r/iems • Just got my Qkz × HBB.. ->Did you tried different cable for this? If not try. I use copper cable i bought for my blon on these and audio quality increased noticeably.
r/iems • Just got my Qkz × HBB.. ->The only KZ worth buying is EDC Pro or Castor Pro, unless you know how to mod and experiment with IEMs. Even then, sets like QKZ X HBB and Blon BL03 II exist for $30. Spend a bit more than bottom dollar to get value.
r/headphones • Purchased an iem and terribly disappointed with it ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
