EDC Pro and CRA are okay

I had the original CCA CRA and lost one of the earbuds. I heard they silently revised the sound signature and rereleased it, so I never bought another one. Still miss that set.

Downgrading PR2 was not deliberate but after running out of stock of certain component, due to unavailability KZ sourced the component from elsewhere which changed the whole tuning. Same thing happened with CCA. Their mistake is that they should have labelled PR2 to something like PR2 alternate version or some other name to notify customers that it's not the exact same PR2.

That's not true. No company world like to ruin their reputation by engaging in malpractices which would be obvious in the public. Tell me why Zenith was the best! JK lol the high-tier all-BA are great as well but overpriced. ZX12 Pro X is not though and amazing with some EQ, great neutral-bright hybrid. It is a shame 2 of my favs aren't for sale anymore- CRA rev1 and PR2 rev1.

Not just that model but sub brand models like the qkz vk4 and cca cra also got downgraded after positive reviews and the qc is still bad, both for iems, and cables.

I would go with those for the absolute budget vs kz. I've had QC issues with my kz edx, cca cra and qkz vk4. But I would go with one of the over 2 for a lightning port iphone + item as the best budget price/performance.

Their impact can't be overstated. In my country, Costa Rica, they quickly became super popular with musicians and regular folk alike (even if they are not flat IEMs lol). To the point where musician friends would comment on my KZ ZSN PRO, ask where I got them, and such. Random people such as bus drivers and pedestrians would comment and mention they knew how good they were. Bang for the buck when they came out was unmatched in the mainstream. Personally, after an awfully disappointing buy in the Shure SE-315, I lost faith in IEMs. The KZ ZSN PRO were way more fun to listen to for 1/10 of the price. Then I got the CCA CRA and was marveled at what could be achieved for twenty bucks in the IEM world. I gifted a friend a pair of CCA CRA, and they became their gold standard. No wireless earbud they have had since then has compared to those CCA CRA. KZ is responsible for me now owning my endgame, the 7Hz Timeless II. I am probably not going any deeper in the rabbit hole but you can bet your ass KZ got me gifting IEMs to my friends who use shitty wireless buds lol.

The 7Hz Salnotes Zero or Moondrop LAN would be the best picks for treble. CCA CRA & KZ ZSN Pro would be what i consider a treble cannons

Personally, after I bought my Aful Performer 5, I didn't have any thought of getting another one. I've been through the hurdle of buying cheap IEMs under $30 (CCA-CRA, Wan 'Er, Wyvern Abyss), and after my third cheap IEM, I decided to just blow it on the Aful Performer 5 and it basically provides me with everything I need and it plays my entire catalog of music exceptionally. There are obviously going to be newer and better ones than the P5, but I find it satisfactory for now.
