Bought my Aireloom king last year and love it. Not even a hint of a sag and very substantial mattress.

If your budget is on the bigger side, highly recommended Scottsdale Bedrooms and looking at Aireloom mattresses.

Airloom are great for heavier people. Beautyrest black are good but nowhere near as good as airloom imo.

Ok so here's the thing, saatva and helix have much better marketing than they have products. Not saying that people dont like them, but they are nowhere near tempur quality, yet always wind up at the top of "best mattress" lists. My advise is to go try them and find out for yourself, and never buy one without being able to try it first. No online only bs.

We got an aireloom after tons and tons of research a couple years ago. Had to hunt down a vendor just to try one but it was worth every penny

I am just replacing my Purple 3 after 6 years. I really liked this mattress. It is definitely more squishy than it was new. I could sleep on it for longer (mostly side sleeper), but my husband can't anymore (he has Parkinson's so pretty specific issues). I planned to get another Purple but their new mattresses don't feel as good- more like the tempurpedic we hated. Ended up ordering an Aireloom. It is more expensive but the better materials and quality are obvious.

A high price tag doesn’t automatically mean better sleep, especially in this range where construction matters more than branding. Aireloom can feel amazing in-store because nearly everything does at first. The real difference shows up in materials and build consistency. Some lines use higher-end hand-tufted construction with better natural fills, while others lean heavily on synthetic foams that soften faster over time. That’s why experiences vary so much some people love theirs for years, others see body impressions within a few. With your history of Beautyrest Black sagging, the key issue isn’t just firmness, it’s long-term support breakdown. Rotating regularly helps, but it won’t fix low-density foam compression if that’s the weak point. At this price, it’s worth checking the law label on any floor model. It quietly tells you what you’re really paying for. Also pay attention to whether the model is fully hand-tufted and what’s actually inside, not just the showroom description. If you liked Aireloom, you might also compare King Koil’s higher lines or latex hybrids like PranaSleep-style builds, which tend to hold structure longer under average-weight couples. Even within Aireloom, the “line” matters more than the name. One thing that consistently makes or breaks satisfaction is the return or exchange policy. Comfort changes after a few weeks, not five minutes in a showroom. What usually ends up mattering most for people is not the brand, but how the materials behave after month six.

Aireloom has been great for my husband for side sleeping. Which made me think I would hate it because I sleep mostly on my back but its been fine for me too. The worst bed we had was a layla i had crazy back pain every morning 9 months into having that bed. Went away when we got Aireloom

If you really want to ensure no sagging you need a tufted mattress, tufted from the top to bottom like a King Koil or Aireloom Im sure there are others. Without tufts you are at the mercy of the springs alone. I have an Aireloom and it does not sink at all its uniform from the edges to the middle. Look up tufting it will explain more

Been looking at similar options (heavier side sleepers here too). Tested Aireloom, Vispring and a few others locally. Aireloom felt great initially but the edge support wasn't quite there for getting in/out. Vispring is ridiculously expensive but the build quality shows. natural materials hold up better long term. tried Amerisleep AS3 hybrid, which worked well. For adjustable bases, you want something that flexes without the coils binding up. Most hybrids work fine but the cheaper ones can develop pressure points where the frame bends. Weight capacity on the base matters more than people think, get something rated 850+ lbs total if you're both heavier.
