Vegan Mattress

I bought the vegan medium pillow top in 2018 and it was firm from the get-go. After 8 years it's way more bouncy but still firm at the same time. very uncomfortable for side sleeping, I don't usually sleep on my side, but when I'm side laying on my bed on laptop it's extremely uncomfortable. The bounce is pretty bad and that does not make it any softer it makes it more uncomfortable since your whole body is like unevenly distributed on back, stomach, or side. I have a metal bed frame with plenty of support as well. So it's time to get a new mattress and a different kind. I suppose I put up with it for 8 years without too much complaining but I've had awful sleep quality the entire time. It's definitely not ideal if you're overweight which I am a little for the last 2 years. I'm considering the luxury or the Grand Lux next but I'm afraid. A lot more expensive and what if it's not much better than this.

We love our Avocado...so honestly I'm glad we waited and splurged. Might be worth seeing if there are any Christmas/holiday deals!

They have an extra firm, but my husband likes it firm and the standard mattress was fine. I got a mattress pad for my side because I like my beds like this: 

I’m a side sleeper as well. I liked the avocado pillow top mattress that i tried in store. It’s $3000 for the queen which is outside my price range. The beauty rest black which was 4k was really nice as well. Under 5k, there are tons of options. I want stay in 1k or under price range for my purchase so I’m looking at family owned mattress stores that carry local/regional manufacturers.

I think the costco mattress is a good option. The pillow-top they sell in stores has 5 inches of latex. The costco pillowtop version has 4 inches but it is considerably cheaper.

I got the avocado firm mattress and it was bumby and had fabric that bunched on the top, did not seem sleep safe or correct so I sent it back. Ended up getting a naturepedic and it’s very firm.
