Stay away from dreamcloud. Tons of people have issues with theirs and the customer service is nonexistent.

Casper is decent but it can feel overpriced and the durability isn't the best long term. If you want something that feels softer for side sleeping, The Bear Pro Hybrid is such a solid pick. The cooling tech is supposed to be next level( goodbye night sweats) and the hybrid design gives you that plush feel without sinking too much.
Bear the coil spring hybrid. After a few days adjustment it’s been the best.
The bf has a Casper with a bear mattress topper we sink into and are so supported brother of us moves much in our sleep. He’s a stomach side sleeper and hasn’t complained. Not sure which Casper he got
When OP mentioned it I thought of all those hotel stays when we worked on the road. Getting a high floor room with one of the new mattresses was gold. Do wonder if subconsciously that’s what we went for with the many topper mattress combos we tried. In winter I’ll throw a gel topper on the bear unless I’m sore then it’s straight on. I have a travel topper I bring on long runs. Only drawback to bear.
We ordered a Bear hybrid mattress - I am a side sleeper and my husband has back pain and we have liked it a lot. We have not had it 5 years yet but it is definitely better than our casper.
