So the only line to not hold up on the beauty rest black was the one prior to this one. It’s the only time they had a completely different team create the beds. They went back to the original design and they are night and day better. You should definitely get that bed it’s one of my best sellers. DM me for more info.
Yes I am referring the lx
I hate beautyrest Black medium. There is no support. It's going back after the holidays, even though it's going to cost me in restocking fees.
I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for. But I now own 2 beautyrest hybrid mattresses from Macys and it came with some basic mattress stand that has electric motors so you can lift the mattress head. Every guest that has stayed over has loved the comfort from younger to older people. I would at least check it out and they’re not crazy expensive maybe around $1500-2000
$450 Amazon and it’s amazing. Beautyrest, hybrid gel and inner spring mattress. Purchased in 2021.
Do not get S&F estate firm euro top. I’ve seen way too many issues with that mattress in particular. I would really consider going with the Beautyrest Black. They have a hybrid line. If you’re wanting a hybrid (more of a foam feel) you could go with a Tempur. They are well regarded and considered to have one of the best customer satisfaction rate in the industry
Whatever you buy, make sure you lay on it for a good 15 minutes to half hour before you buy. And not when you're tired, either. Be able to actively feel how your body likes it. I still love my mattress 12 years later. It's a hybrid Beautyrest, nothing too fancy.
I recently purchased the Casper Cooling Select matress from Costco and definitely do not recommend it. I know I am late to this thread, but wanted to share my experience. It is a super plush bed with zero support. I have lower back pain and stiffness every day since receiving the matress. Unless you enjoy rolling up towels and sheets so that you can have some type of lumbar support, I would skip the Casper lineup. Additionally there is zero edge support. I recently purchased the Casper Onyx for my son from Rooms to Go and it is labeled as a medium and seems to have better support than the Casper Select. I was eyeing the Casper snow for myself, but after this experience and seeing how quickly my son's bed is turning from Medium Firm to Medium Soft...I am not sure I can trust the Casper brand. For a 15 year old, it seems to be okay. For adults who need support and dont want to sleep on an indoor hammock nightly, I recommend you continue your search. I ordered the Beautyrest Black hybrid from Costco as a replacement. Still waiting on delivery, but hoping for something firmer and more durable. Definitely dont recommend Casper although the cooling feature, I do like and if you are into super soft beds then it may be for you. I am a female and weigh about 180 lbs.
I have had the Beautyrest Black Hybrid (currently on sale I think) and it is to me a medium firm mattress. I really like it. I am a combo sleeper...side, back and sometimes stomach. I recommend this mattress. I am 5'3 180 though. I do have it on an adjustable base which is something that I am absolutely loving.
I can help! We started with the Stearns and Foster. I wanted to love it so badly. It seems to be really good quality. I was just waking up stiff and thought it was a little too firm. It has no bounce. I felt like if I didn't set my baby down gently enough she'd break her tailbone. So we returned it and put our old beautyrest hybrid back in. In the 2 weeks we'd had the S&F I realized my neck and shoulder pain had started to get better (I literally went to physical therapy for 2 years for this) and one night back on the old mattress and I had a migraine (hadn't had one on the new mattress). Was blaming the migraines on postpartum and thyroid issues. We had the beautyrest dual cool on the way and I canceled it immediately. I am super anti Beautyrest after this experience. So we ordered the Sealy ridgecrest. Tried it last night for the first time. I laid on it for 2 hours and it's absolutely terrible. No support at all. I'm back in the baby's room on our guest bed which is an amazon bed in a box and 100x better than the Sealy. I'm a side sometimes back sleeper and weigh 145. I thought I liked plush but I may be needing more firm. Or at least something with support. We will be going the latex route
We have one that we bought about 8/9 years ago and I think that we are coming to the end of it’s life. I have been pregnant three times and my weight has fluctuated a good 100lbs heavier than I am right now. It is still pretty comfy but am starting to get more hip pain (I’m a side sleeper). I would 100% buy it again.
Unfortunately, the cost doesn't translate into better quality. I've honestly had better experience with the cheap foam mattress in a box from Sam's. My beauty rest hybrid started to say within a year, too. It year 4 it is almost deep enough for the warranty call. It is totally ruining me, though. I'm ready to order a chunk of foam from foambymail.com My teen is loving hers. On the floor it is going great. It's cheap, but effective it seems
