Yeah, my black beauty rest series 3 hybrid started out as super firm for 3 months for me.. think the hybrids may be like that and take a bit longer to break in.
I bought the black series 3 medium firm, and they're horrible and they sleep extremely hot just like any other memory foam. There's no such thing as cooling technology in memory foam no matter how much they want to spin it - that there is cooling technology. I will sleep with the windows open with a box fan in the window pointing directly at me when it's in the low 40s, and I'm still waking up hot. So I would question if you know what you're talking about. Once you break it in, it lacks support and you have to sleep all over the mattress to properly break in. If you move around in your sleep, memory foam is not for you as it creates imprints, so will feel uneven.
Are you getting a queen or a king because it should only be three grand of queen. Personally I just bought one over a month ago and it takes a lot to break it in. You will absolutely hate it in the beginning. If you sleep hot, also do not recommend getting it. If I could go back I would go back to a traditional mattress.. It'll be super firm until you break it in and you'll have to sleep all over the mattress to break it in properly
I advise against the black beauty rest series 3. Got it and eventually leaves an impression in a short period of time. Can even see it just looking at it
It's outlet so can't return it. It has to sag one and a half inches to warranty it. We're not there yet. . impression in a matter of a couple months and lacking back support for the small of the back. It also sleeps incredibly hot. If you actually read some reviews including mattress sales people, they'll tell you that they get returned frequently and they don't have good reviews for exactly what I'm stating. It's the series 3. It's not that old one that had major sag issues. That was 2
I strongly recommend a beauty rest black hybrid https://www.beautyrest.com/products/black-hybrid-series-three-medium Queen size of their most premium medium hybrid is $3800 Can’t go wrong with
How many hybrids and how many true memory foam I bought a quality beautyrest hybrid and have been very happy with it
Upgraded to a BRB series 3 medium. Same!
Beautyrest Black Series 3 Medium. Way cooler than the Sealy it replaced.
After 5 days I returned the Brenham! While plenty of foam and comfy, it's not for hot sleepers. Partner said xnay. Traded it in for a clearance Beautyrest Black Series 3 Medium, a MUCH cooler mattress. You rest more on top of the mattress than sinking into it. Beautyrests have a decent layer of latex that helps w the cooling. None of the Sealys I know of have latex. Wish I knew that from the start, but finally landed on the right mattress. 👍
I had a QL injury in lower back, which prompted the hunt to replace our 9yr old BB that was sagging.. just on my side thanks to my 194 pounds lol. I am back and side sleeper only. The wife is stomach - sunk into the foamy Sealy causing the xtra heat. Admittedly the Sealy was 'slightly' more comfy for me. But im quickly getting used to the firmer BB. I figure if I wanted more foam I can get a thicker topper. But the latex in the BB keeps everything cooler, so thats the plus for us.
Reality did you get what you pay for. You buy a cheap bed in the box and it's going to wear down. Based on what you said about how you sleep and my experience in the field of sleep there's a couple of options out there that would last longer for you and give you a better sleep. I would recommend a beautyrest Black series 3 medium or a Tempur-Pedic luxe breeze or a probreeze medium. Buying a firm mattress and putting a latex topper on it is not going to give you the support and conformity that you need for your sleep it will end up causing you back pain and that topper will break down in a year or so and you'll be right back in the same boat that you're in. Toppers are just Band-Aids if you're going to be concerned about your sleep invest in your sleep you spend 30% of your life in a bed make sure you pick the right one and not just because you think that you've heard a good name and you read paid for reviews about the mattress. You need to go test them out maybe several times lay on them make sure that you have a good return policy and or a warranty that comes with the bed and a company that helps you with those warranties. Good luck with finding your next sleep system
Hi all, I’m looking for advice on what mattress to try next. I’m 6’4, 200 lbs, and a die hard stomach sleeper. For the past 2 years, I slept on a Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Firm and hated it. It felt way too firm and always left me feeling tight and tense. After that, I tried a Beautyrest Black B-Class Extra Firm, and that felt like sleeping on a rock, which also hurt my back. Now I’m on a Beautyrest Black Series 3 Medium, and my hips are definitely sinking too much, which is causing pressure and pain in both my upper and lower back. At this point, I think I need something firm enough to keep my hips from sinking, but not so hard that it feels like a slab. I still want some contouring and pressure relief, just with better support. What mattress would you recommend I try next?
If i were you i would look at the beautyrest black series 3 medium/plush mattresses depending how soft you like it but for a side sleeper i would suggest going with the medium. It has the cooling you are looking for, memory foam for comfort, latex for support, triple braided coils.
I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for. But I now own 2 beautyrest hybrid mattresses from Macys and it came with some basic mattress stand that has electric motors so you can lift the mattress head. Every guest that has stayed over has loved the comfort from younger to older people. I would at least check it out and they’re not crazy expensive maybe around $1500-2000
Ive bought 3 mattresses for myself In 2 years. 1st one failed in 9 months, sales person pushed a bed frame as a resolution to back pain. Hybrid foam that was supportive was worn out in 3 months, I slept on all 4 and ended up in a hammock and in pain for 9 months not understanding why until I slept in a different bed and I knew then it was the mattress. I couldbt do a warranty claim because that foam bounces right back up like normal and looks flawless until you lay down. So I go back to Mattress Firm because they said they would take care of me...they push me to a beautyrest, in 53 days laying the way I do in bed I wore the hybrid foam out!!! I made them come get it immediately. Dude, I decided on the Purple restore plus, over 3k...they sent me a soft bed, I wanted the firm. Today was night 3. Im in agony and they are closed on the weekends. With all that being said stay away of that cheap foam, it feels great in the store but not after you lay on that shit for a few months.
