BRS900 Extra Firm Mattress

The Beautyrest Silver BRS900 Extra Firm Mattress or something from that line tend to be very affordable. They're very firm, so most people don't like that, hence the lower price. If you sleep on your back and get pain from soft mattresses, they're great. I'm on my second one, a queen-sized model, and it was only $500usd. I have to imagine that a smaller model would be even cheaper than that.

We had a beautyrest extra firm queen (brs900) that became our guest bed when we moved and had space for a king. We have a medium firmness king from sleep on latex. My husband loves it. I like it. It’s a little more firm than I want. I usually start out the night with him and if he snores I go back to the beautyrest. My step daughter was in a car accident before the first time she stayed with us and I bought a three inch soft topper from sleep on latex for her. She liked the bed so much that she mentions it each time she stays with us: I wish I had bought this after my accident instead of what we got. Funny thing is I like the bed even more with the topper. I end up sleeping on it a little more than half the nights. You need a firm base to support it. We are using the Zinius smart base. It has some drawbacks but the upside is it doesn’t sag. The way it’s constructed I’m not sure it can sag. I think mattress sag is a lot of the reason people complain about low back discomfort. And I think a lot of sag is a sagging base.

We bought a Beautyrest Silver Extra Firm last November for a little less than 800 on sale. Love it. It's 13 inches high though and the prior mattress was 11 inches so I had to make new sheets for it. It fits in the platform wood frame we have but it's a bit tighter fit so we only use flat sheets and not fitteds. And we had to get a mattress shovel. Lol.

You could’ve recommended the brs900 which is a better bed for less than half the price. You also could have done the actual best thing for their budget and hooked them up on a pressuresmart. Sending them a dogshit mattress at full price and saying you’ll take care of them on pricing is not going to help anyone but yourself.

Look for a BR900. They are solid value beds, and sold almost everywhere. They make firm, med, plush. But the 900 heavy gauge coils are a solid support

I absolutely LOVE my Sleep Science beds. I have two different ones. And I warrantied a Beauty Rest Silver. So while I don't totally disagree with you, this site does go on about these things, some of us break the mold.
