I just traded up from a Casper mattress to the Beatyrest Black Napa Luxury Firm
I tried both the black, hotel and trilliant mattresses at the store. For me I liked trilliant, followed by hotel, then black. Anything notable about those? I’ve read the customer service on the beauty test can be less than great.

We bought a Beautyrest Hotel and it is the best mattress we've ever had. Like best sleeps EVER
I side sleep hubby sleeps on his back and neither of us has any complaints. Edit someone mention going into a mattress store and I do agree. It makes a difference knowing how they feel.
We had a Beautyrest Black firm mattress was like 6k. It only last year and half then had the sink. I just got a tempurpedic pro adapt hybrid medium and already hate that I'm 6'3 235 pounds and also a side sleeper. I should have spent the money and got the lux version ugh definitely feel your pain.
Beautyrest warranty is a joke it's like 3in of sage with the worst warranty department ever. There's no way I'd even consider a soft mattress being I'm 230 the medium already to soft and I can feel the springs.
IDK about Sealy, but I just bought a beauty rest black in firm. I love it. I was not happy with the 3.5k price tag, but it really is worth it.
I am a side sleeper too, but find a firm mattress keeps my hips from hurting. So i ignore the advice that i shouldn’t have a firm. I just bought a firm Beauty Rest Black. I have only had it a few days but so far I love it. Hips are not hurting
My FIRM Beautyrest Black is amazing!
Try a traditional innerspring mattress. It took me a while. I tried the beauty rest black.... it was okay. I HATE memory foam. I HATE sinking Into the bed. I want some give in my hips and shoulders but i do NOT want to sink in. I like being "on top" of the mattress and not IN the mattress. I grew up on a traditional innerspring mattress. A sealy from like 1995. It was great. Lasted me 15 years. From age 5 to 20. But.... alas.. sealy dont make them like thy used to. I ended up most recently going with "Gardner Mattress" based out of Salem, MA. They sell and make one thing: mattresses. They are not a middle man. They make them. And they sell them. And they carry ONLY their brand of mattress. But they make innerspring, they make innerspring with wool, innerspring with cotton/wool, and innerspring with natural latex and horsehair. Very traditional mattress construction. Out of the 30 mattresses on the floor, i liked 5 of them. Which is way more than could be said about anywhere else i went. So......maybe going to a place where what they sell is what they personally manufacture would be helpful??? Maybe there is no garnder mattress near you. But going to a place where they can be knowledgeable about the construction of their mattresses, the differences, and you can give feedback on what you like and dont like would be best. You can say "i like this firmess. I like that i can spring iut of bed. I like that when i sit down its not hard as a rock- nor do i sink strsight down. I like that i stay on top of the mattress".
