You imply you’re on hormones now? Are you still having hot flashes at night? If you loved the beauty rest black I’d give that another go. I just got a beauty rest pressure smart 2.0 hybrid in medium and I’m loving it so far. Wish I could afford the beauty rest black! I have TWO waterproof covers. One directly over the mattress and one over the mattress pad. With young kids and pets I’m not taking any chances! 

Hi, I am getting a pressuresmart 2.0 hybrid delivered tomorrow! Im so excited, Im a side sleeper and it felt comfortable, I was looking for plush but they only had medium.

I bought the Beautyrest PressureSmart™ 2.0 Hybrid Medium 13inch. When i measured the mattress, I called them to complain. First they said the packaging was wrong, then they called me back and said the foam on top needs to expand, give it til tuesday. so they lied? Thats 2 inches that needs to expand, I dont believe it but thank you for confirming it.

Its been sitting in their store since Wednesday and when they brought it, it wasnt in a box. Are they making excuses or are they trying to pull a fast one. The yare giving me another matress next Thursday. But I will tell them the mattress didnt come in a box so it shouldnt have to expand.

They said its 11 inches and it will need to expand but when I measure again on tuesday and its still 11 inches I will say something. I cant beleive they would do this!

they said yes, but it was the same mattress. Its been a little over a week, and it's not as soft as it was in the store. Im not getting much pressure relief as a side sleeper. Please tell me it will get softer? Should I give it 30 days and return or wait longer? I dont want to get stuck with a bed that isnt soft, even though this is a medium mattress, I should have gone plush but in the store this mattress was great. What do you think I should do?

I have a 120 day trial from mattress firm, they said free to try so i hope i dont get a fee if i return. My hip feels sore sleeping on this matteress and i toss and turn, i dont want to have to wait 120 days to sleep better. I should have gone with a plush not medium. So im torn on what to do. A plush would feel better sooner rather than later wouldnt it? Im thinking of trading it in for plush. I appreciate your advice, not sure what to do. I will walk on it thought

This model didnt come in a plush, but in the store it felt good. I dont want to have to wait 120 days for a decent nights sleep. But if you think I should wait it out, it will soften, Ill do it. There wont be a fee if I return since they said free 120 days right?

Well my bed I LOVE is the Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 medium hybrid! It doesn't seem to be well loved on this sub, but \*I\* love it! I was not on Reddit when I bought it a year ago, so I had nothing to go by other than how wonderful it felt on my back and shoulder, which I have issues with both. I added a 2" Talalay topper a few months after getting it. I am in bed a lot so I wanted some cloud-like topper due to that. I couldn't be happier with my setup.

I love my Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 medium hybrid! Almost 1 year mark and still feels brand new.

I've had the Beautyrest Pressure smart 2.0 medium hybrid for over a year. I love the thing and it's holding up well for me. However I am 128 lbs and I did add a 2" Talalay latex topper about 6 months in due to spending a lot of time in bed (back/shoulder issues). From what I've been told the topper helps with longevity and absorbs the brunt of a body. That being said I have to be honest- I would recommend looking into something built better, a plush probably isn't going to hold up very well. The 2.0 is an improvement over the 1.0 no doubt, but I would look for something with better support long term. A latex might work out better. Look for a small local mattress store that should have them to try out. Or, depending on where you live you might try SleePare Mattress store. They carry many online brands you can try out. Have you visited The Mattress Underground site? There's a wealth of knowledge there so I recommend checking it out. Also, if you search this sub for posts from u/darkknightreturns7 you will find a ton if info! He is so knowledgeable and is a co-founder of TMU. (The Mattress Undeground) He explains all this mattress info way better than I can. haha!! Good luck finding something you love that will last for many years!

I'm not sure what your budget is. I am on a very fixed income, but my back was a wreck sleeping on the majority of mattresses I've tried. I have both upper and lower back pain. I learned the hard way that memory foam mattresses just aren't firm enough for me. Though I did have a Temperpedic hybrid mattress that did pretty good. But I've learned that finding budget price coil mattresses is a real challenge now. After seeing some people here on Reddit recommending a Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 I scraped together the $1100 it cost to get one, and absolutely love it. It is very firm, so if you don't like a very firm mattresses, this wouldn't be it. But I need super firm and I have been so incredibly happy with it. My back has improved immensely since making the switch.

The albany is the direct step down and the entry level to the posterpedic elite line it goes ashurst, norman, lacey, albany, brenham, high point in order of quality. The pressure smart line up is a much older line. I like the sealys as the elite lineup (High Point, Brenham, and Albany) and the Lacey reinforces the center third with additional coils they call it their max support technology. The beautyrest pressuresmarts reinforce the center third with foam instead of steel, have a foam encasement instead of edge to edge coils making the center softer then the edges, and have lower quality covers. If you want best quality in a traditional innerspring Sterns and Foster is the answer. They will have 500 more coils then any of the beds listed, foams designed by tempurpedic and much tighter quality control then the other two. The estate line up is close to the same price as well. Stay away from the studio it's a sealy that has carved the face off a sterns and stapled it on.

Hey - sorry if this was emBEDded in the comments somewhere, but did you try one of the the pressuresmart beautyrests in person at the mattress firm? I'm in the same boat as you, and I liked that one in person a lot - felt similar to a mattress i was chasing (sherwood elegance). Wondering if you felt the similarly if you had tried, I too am trying to avoid buying from them before i exhaust all other internet ones or topper combos. So far. that's the only one that's felt close in person and it feels like a losing game.

Haven't found a salesperson who knows what density foam they have. I'm having such a hard time. Last time I got a Beautyrest hybrid that was below the black, and I really really liked it. But the girl left me and took the mattress which is fine. This time I'm not falling in love with any of the mattress options at local showrooms. I'm really running out of options but need to act as I am sleeping on the couch and it sucks. I don't like the black, I love anything and am almost out of retailers to try
