Beautyrest Black - Trilliant 40 Mattress (3-82553M)

I personally like a soft mattress. But what I've found is there are too types of soft mattresses: mush and truly soft. Mush you get in and can't get back out. This is the Beauty rest Black line at the Brick (Canada) Truly soft are medium firm mattresses with great foam tops like Beauty Rest Trilliant at Sleep Country. Mush is awful but a supporting mattress with a cloud top is a thing of beauty. I had a mattress like this several years ago, amazing. Then I switched to medium firm on medical advice. Big mistake. My body likes to be held but my joints like to be whispered to. I am a side sleeper with a little back until the sleep apnea chokes me awake.

My partner and I just got a new king bed that we really love! We went to sleep country and tried out a bunch. We agreed on Simmons Beautyrest Trilliant 40. My partner usually gets too cold. I get too hot. I’m a side and back sleeper and she’s a side sleeper. We’re a few days in and we love the new mattress! We got the king one for $2600. I tried both the black, hotel and trilliant mattresses at the store. For me I liked trilliant, followed by hotel, then black. Anything notable about those? I’ve read the customer service on the beauty test can be less than great.
