We have an Emma Comfort. If you are on the heavier side I do not recommend. Ours has dipped quite a bit even with rotation. We have had it around 4 years but it dipped pretty quick.
I just got rid of an Emma memory foam mattress for a latex one. Game changer - less hot, more supportive as a side sleeper and does not make you sink into it
All of those mattresses are memory foam type mattresses. That's oil based and bad for the environment. Also hot AF in the summer. I work in the bed trade. For decent value natural filled mattresses, Highgrove are great. If you have a high budget, try out Harrison Spinks, which are vastly more comfortable, 100% natural and chemical free, plus 100% recyclable.
The downside of this is that the returns rate for Simba/Casper/Emma is horrendously high. All that foam, where does it go? Those mattresses aren't resold.
Emma's memory foam mattresses are very highly rated in Germany, and they have regular sales. They are the go-to standard for affordable and decent memory foam mattresses in Germany. If you want something higher quality (thicker layer of denser memory foam and denser underlying foam, and longer lasting, but more expensive), sleepfactory.de and dami.de (they're both the same company) have excellent memory foam mattresses for the price. I've owned both. If you have the budget, I'd recommend the latter: memory foam mattresses' lifespan isn't that long, and sleep factory.de's last significantly longer because they're denser. But their customer service is very poor, while Emma's is excellent.
love my Emma mattress, got a queen for $760 a couple years ago.
Answered! I am about 100KG, weight does fluctuate a bit. I had bought an emma mattress about 2 years ago. It started to get a sag where I was sleeping. My partner would constantly roll towards me and gave us both back aches. We complaint and got a refund. We used it to buy an almost twice as expensive dream cloud luxury hybrid mattress (28cm height) and within 6 months we are at the same place - valley where I sleep & back aches for both. I am looking to find out brands/sellers that worked for people weighing around 100KG and have had a good experience with mattresses. TA! Update: Thank you everyone for input. Good to know I am not the only one having this issue. Seems like a pocket spring is the way to go forward. Will check those out!
