I had received an emma mattress and the moment we opened it, we knew it was used. The freshness was not there at all. There was faint stains here and there. May be most times, they just disinfect and vaccum pack it and deliver it to next customer.

Emma is as good as any other mattrress.I bought and returned. The quality of the zip only spoke out a lot. I presumed it being an European brand - it will be of atleast certain standard. If you open the zip, it is layers of sofa foam only.. paying 16k for it was not worth when I saw it. So, though full latex was way way beyond my budget, I went for it albeit a bit delayed. It is truly worth paying the price for a full latex mattress. Also, the mattress I received did not feel fresh when it was unpacked. That was off.. may be these guys vaccum pack the returned mattresses and deliver it to other.

Came here to tell the same. MM foam was the best purchase I have done.. We wake up so refreshed. Also, considering we spend 30 percent of our life sleeping (8 hours a day), it is wise to invest on quality sleep. Its pricey. But worth it. Latex mattress are one solid piece of rubber material. no cheap foam, no layers of those gimmicks - ortho support, memory foam, gel layer.. Also, companies like MM foam dont offer 100 days free trial and such. That speaks about their quality. MM foam is a MRF company I had ordered Emma mattress considering that they are European Brand. The moment we unpacked it, we were sure it was used one that was vaccum packed and delivered to us. There was a warning sign on the cheap zip cover - that if opened, warranty will be void. We did peek in a bit. It was just cheap sofa foam in layers. That was the moment of truth. Had to move mountains to return it.

After a new mattress and I’m a bit overwhelmed with how many there are to choose from. I have an Emma one but it’s absolutely awful!

I had almost the same experience with Emma. The first month felt great and I liked the balance between soft and supportive. After a while though, the spots where I sleep most did start to feel a little softer. Not terrible, just noticeable when shifting around.

I hate my Emma. Every morning I wake up I’m in agony. It’s 3 years old. The first 1.5 yrs it was fine but it gradually got too soft in the middle. I’ve been on the lookout for something new but I’m nervous to pay again for something that may only last a few years.

I'm in the process of finding a mattress topper for my 2 yr old stupidly expensive Emma mattress that supposedly had wonderful benefits for people with chronic pain and fibro blah blah blah. It sucks. I hate it. I'm a side-sleeper and it's created a dip where I tend to sleep, however because it's not very noticeable to the eye (we feel EVERYthing!), it's hard to prove anything that warrants a return. Not to be a downer or anything but I read so many articles and posts and reviews and recommendations from clever sleep people, but when I followed the advice...well, as I said, I'm looking for a mattress topper now 😂 The only advice I can give you that is 100% fail-proof: get one with a decent trial period.

DO NOT BUY FROM EMMA. The worst customer experience I have ever received. They sent the wrong size mattress TWICE so I didn't receive my full order until a month after ordering. Promised pillows as compensation as they 'can't offer monetary compensation' but 3 months on I am still chasing for the pillows to be delivered.

We have had an Emma for 2 years now and it’s been great. Nice and firm still.

My partner and I have been looking into getting a new mattress for a year. We took advantage of the cooling off period or "try within the first 100 days or money back guarantee" with many companies. We've done Emma, ecosa, Koala and Sleeping duck - all brands that were well marketed on social media platforms. We ended up returning all of them due to the sleep quality, feedback from friends that had the mattresses for 5+ years (ALL said the mattress sagged) and it somehow felt really hot. Learnt that foam mattresses retain heat and has no ventilation. We happened to come across ausbeds after house-sitting for a friend for 3 weeks and we had the most amazing sleep. And to our surprise, the mattress was 3+ years old. Just went to the showroom in marrickville, Sydney and bought the mattress on the spot after trying it :) will update this comment on how it goes in a few months!

Emma mattress. Although they have different manufacturers for different countries, so results may vary.

Ours got a dip in the middle just as the years warranty expired. My partner is heavier than me so i get the worst of it and its now so bad I frequently wake up with a dead arm. And not being able to flip it over makes it worse. Cannot WAIT to get rid of it when we move.
