The newest line of Helix Elite models. Mine is being delivered next Monday and I’m very excited.
Any thoughts on the Sealy Posturpedic Elite HighPoint II? My wife and I returned a Helix Elite recently. She hated it and I loved it. We hate the split king so just trying to find something we both like. We were debating between the Sealy, Tempurpedic Pro Adapt or a Purple Restore. We are coming from a pure latex mattress. We have had it for 13 years and it’s been pretty good for about 8 years but really went down hill for us.
I have that mattress on display in my showroom here in downtown Los Angeles and I love the way it feels. I personally sleep on a king coil mattress and moved my Helix Elite mattress to the guest room.
If you’re okay with spending 4k on a mattress and want to stay away from bed in a box, I’d honestly just go for Tempurpedic. This sub will have you believe they’re the worst mattresses on the planet, but there’s a reason why so many mattresses on the market try to imitate their design and feel. Only thing is they don’t have a firm hybrid, just medium and soft. Firm would be the all foam version. If you’re willing to go for a bed in a box mattress, Helix Elite feels amazing, if you want firm go for the Dawn version.
We are loving that helix elite. I was obsessed with the snow Max in the store but the helix elite had a floor model so we went for it. It's very firm though ...I'm surprised it would be a good fit for side sleepers with shoulder pain
Avocado Green- least amount of toxic materials of any bed named, 1 year sleep trial. When you realize that they all are mostly the same build type, you may as well get the healthiest option, choose your firmness level and be done. Leesa - pretty much the same as every other option named but great price Nectar- for the budget shopper who wants a bed that is comfortable Honorable mention for the Helix Elite models, the fact you can replace the insert and change comfort level as well as extend lifespan is nice.
Quality over price: Look into -leesa saphira chill ( or higher but this was super comfortable) -helix elite ( you can replace the top cushion so even it it sagged after a few years you can reset) -avocado green I went avocado but would’ve been happy with any. I spent a little under 5k not including blankets and what not including an adjustable base. Adjustable base alone is life changing. Never can go back, my sleep is so much better. I deal with feet swelling and this bed was a godsend. Though, i feel like the new organic bedsheets, the wool room comforter, the buffy cooling quilt, buffy duvet cover etc come 2nd place for impact 3rd place, the bed. It takes some breaking in, but i am still having the best sleep ever. Personally i recommend it 10/10 bur I feel with the base and good bedding it’s actually not as important The bed comes down to: -fiber glass vs no fiber -hybrid vs foam -what firmness level you like -organic or not organic
Helix Elite series are great.
I totally disagree. We bought a Helix with coils and are returning it and replacing it with a new Casper all Latex/foam. We found that the hybrid had very little support on the edges and we are edge sleepers. Which kind of mattress is better is an opinion and we all have our own
I’ve had mine for 6 years and I absolutely love it
I’ve had a Helix mattress for 5 years and still get excited to lay on it every night
