I purchased the Twilight Core thinking it would be firm enough but I’m finding it a bit too soft. Any suggestions?
Wish I would’ve saw your review a week earlier. I went with the twilight and finding it too soft.
I bought my 14yo twins the Helix core twilight mattresses and they are loving them. No need for all the bells and whistles. They are extremely comfortable but firm mattresses. Super happy with them, especially at under $1k each on Black Friday and TikTok coupon
They use ErgoMotion for their adjustable bases. It’s going to be tough to get Helix TXL mattresses with adjustable bases under $3000. Only way to do it is go with the core model. It’s fine, but not what most of Helix has built a reputation on.
Went today and tested some beds out. My favorite was the Beautyrest black ultra firm. Sales guy said it was a series 1 or something like that. I like the ultra firm feel, like the sealy posture pedic plus ultra firm, but like the better feel and seemingly higher quality of the Beautyrest black. It feels like there’s the right amount of cushion on top of the Beautyrest so it still feels supportive to my upper back and shoulder posture issues, but it doesn’t feel like I’m on the floor. And my girlfriend will probably appreciate the cushion a little more too. But, I’ve seen a ton of nectar ads, and I’ve see. That a lot of people recommend the Saatva firm instead. I do like Saatva’s 365 day trial so I can just send it back if it sucks or I picked wrong. Thoughts anyone?
Interesting. I wish they had places to see them in person but that would probably kill their market if they’re not as good side by side. For example, when I tried a helix core in person it felt like the worst (cheapest) bed in the store. But their bed comparable to the others, the helix elite, was 2x the cost of the others
Holy Carp! My wife and I just took delivery of nearly the exact same setup. Different adjustable bases (BedTech BT3000) and mattresses. We went with the Helix Elite Midnight (Medium) for her side and Twilight (Firm) my side. Got new goose down duvet/duvet covers/ 800TC sheets and tonight will be the first night we sleep in it. So looking forward to it!
Also remember that foams will lose a bit of firmness over time as they break in. Ask how long the mattress store had the Twilight in store for. One of the twilights I tried was super firm and the store just opened a month ago, then other store was worn in and felt slightly firmer than the midnight
