We have a Hypnos zip and link but leave it unzipped so when one of us turns over the other mattress doesn't move, so they don't get disturbed. Each mattress, being 3ft, is easy to turn. I think a 6ft must be nigh on impossible to turn.
Hypnos beds are expensive for a reason: incredible hand-made quality that lasts. They have a ten year warranty. Our previous one lasted 18 years and still looked like new at the end. Current one is eight years old old and looks and feels like new still.
Marvelous. I've had mine nearly ten years, slept in every night, plenty of action and two kids jumping all over it and it's still bang on!

In my old house we had two emperor mattresses.. definitely go for the zip and link. On paper the mattresses were an easy fit but in practice it took a lot of effort to get them in. Unless you live in a very open plan high ceiling'd bungalow. Also we now have a sleepeezee superking with a pillow top. It's as good as the vispring and hypnos that I've previously had. The emperor beds were awful so I wouldn't recommend that supplier.
