VESTERÖY Pocket sprung mattress, extra firm/light blue

I have an IKEA Vesteröy extra firm and it is heaven. Highly recommend

Cotton mattress is absolutely a nightmare for a hot and humid country like India. It would be a heaven for mold and mildew, and it sags (you sink into the matress), causing backpain. You also need thrashing and sunning on weekly basis PLUS a slatted bed (Never on a solid wood or ply bed) The one I use is an IKEA Pocket Spring 8-inch mattress with a Eurotop, which is absolutely nice. Latex mattress is nice too. Stay away from cotton for heaven's sake!!

Wakefit and sleepy cat are scammers, stay away from these fkrs. The best in my experience is IKEA, go wth their 8 inch pocket spring mattress. If you cant get that, go for Springtech in Amazon.

Ikea VESTERÖY. I never would have considered this bed at this price point but its results hit what I was looking for in a surprising way.

I recently bought the Ikea vesteroy in a queen size (it also comes in single) and have been quite happy. I do use it with a mattress topper that I already had.

I know people say buy cheap buy twice or whatever but I love my IKEA mattresses. Had a super king that has now been wonderful for a bit over 4 years and then got a double for a spare room that's been great for a year or so now. Not super long term yet but I don't expect to replace them any time soon.

My Ikea super king is still going strong 2 and a half years later. 

Seconded! Have the same for about 5 years too and it's still very comfortable.

IKEA pocket Spring mattresses are the best. I've been sleeping on one for the guts of 5 years now (technically my second one, but that was because the first one was unsalvageable after a house fire). They're excellent, and half the price of a similar mattress from anywhere else.
