Mine is listed as an intimate plush luxetop. https://preview.redd.it/xcqogxqsw8eg1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fe95a43a35daae9a41f1bc180898fc285c5508d
I was in mattress buying hell. I bought a sealy posturepedic elite high point ii hybrid medium and it absolutely killed my lower back. I was coming from the firm model which I liked okay but spending that much money I wanted perfect. I Returned it the medium As a rotating sleeper, I need support on the shoulder and hips. It wasn’t until I went to a mattress store and happen to lay on the king koil intimate latex hybrid that I found my mattress. Everything online is memory foam or memory foam hybrid. I didn’t even think about latex. But this thing is amazing. I highly recommend rotating sleepers to check one out in a store.
Do you love it as much as I do? I get support on my stomach and no pressure points on shoulders when side sleeping. Feels like magic
Mine is the culver! But their branding is weird. I think the same mattress will have a different name based off the store, but the intimate line up is key
I would say that! It’s heavy but no heavy than any memory foam hybrid
Medium! It feels like a medium firm on on back and stomach but a medium on side. It’s pretty great
Mine is called “intimate 2025 culver eurotop medium king” but looks very similar to yours
King koil intimate! It’s been amazing
I bought their intimate line and I absolutely love it… I’m surprise they aren’t on Reddit more. I spent 3500 for a king which is enough to justify more reviews I feel like. But I absolutely love my mattress
3 months ago, I got a tufted king koil (a brantley plush pillow top) and it's possibly the worst mattress I have ever slept on. It might last a long time, but will never find out as it's ruining my back. I'm already looking for another new mattress. Maybe I should have went with the Aireloom but am convinced the tufting is part of what makes it feel super lumpy.
If there’s a specific hotel you sleep great at I’d try and figure out what the bed they’re using is. If you can’t find it online then next time you’re there pull back the sheets and take some pictures and ask here. I sleep on an old Posh+Lavish, as they stopped zoning their support recently I wouldn’t go with a current model personally as the zoning is a must have for me on their beds. Beds I sell that I’d consider for me: Diamond Mattress Veil, Diamond Mattress Snowbird Firm, Technogel Favola, Avocado Luxury Tight Top, Technogel Atmosphere Medium. Those all have zoned support that works for me. The King Koil Intimate Michelson Medium is the one bed without zoned support that I’m able to lay on without feeling like it’s going to make my sciatica act up. Sorry that it sounds like the stores around you suck, we generally encourage people to lay on the beds for a while without us around once we narrow it down to a few. We also have a very liberal return policy so we’re a lot more motivated to get it right the first time.
Most (maybe all) of the king Koil Intimate, Reserve, Natural lines are tufted, other than hybrids. Maybe some other lines too.
I sell King Koil, it’s inaccurate.
Yeah, Stearns 100% isn’t worth that kind of money anymore if you’re trying to get 10+ years out of a mattress. Check out King Koil Intimate, Diamond Black Diamond quilted, or Brooklyn Bedding Thermobalance Elite, all of those will have models of a similar feel and equal/better quality/warranty at a lower price.
For coil beds I like the King Koil Intimate line with 3000 support coils (not counting the 7000 mini coils), my body responds best to latex. My ultra plush latex bed has more support than almost anything in my store. Anything from Diamond with their 9 series coil: Technogel line, Snowbird line, marble (which is super firm), I think their generations line has the 9 series coil, but not something I show.
I just bought a King Koil Intimate as well! I switch from side to side and ultimately land on my back in the morning. I hope it lasts...
So far its the best thing I have laid on....fingers crossed it just gets better!
Mine is somewhat flexible. It is kind of heavy but no where near as heavy as the Stearns & Foster I tried. That thing was a behemoth! I can still lift it to put sheets on and what not. It might depend on what firmness level you end up getting and how thick it is. Mine is 16"
